Direct risk of exposure to pesticides can occur not only during the spraying process, but can also occur during the mixing process, even after the spraying process. Farmers' knowledge of using personal protective equipment (PPE) when spraying is a risk factor for poisoning. Situation analysis Intensive and unprocedural and ineffective use of pesticides. The use of pesticides that are not as recommended is caused by the knowledge factor of the farmers within themselves, namely perceptions and low knowledge of the use of pesticides according to recommendations that are still wrong or low. This activity is to provide education on the behavior of farmers spraying pesticides in applying the use of pesticides in the field (land). The solution offered by the implementing team is to provide understanding and education on how to use personal protective equipment, how to pay attention to wind direction and how to mix pesticides to farmer groups. The results obtained before the implementation of the provision of material and training were 22 people at the sufficient level and 18 people at the less level. After education, 30 people were in the good category and 10 people were in the enough category. Educational activities that have been carriedout by the implementing team can be a solution and a respondent for farmer groups as an effort to reduce the level of risk of exposure to pesticides

The increasing cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia have a sizable health impact on the community. The growth of the Covid-19 virus sticks to hands every day through physical contact with the environment, and among other things it can cause/cause various diseases. For this reason, these microorganisms need to be destroyed or prevented from spreading. One of the easiest and most appropriate ways is to wash your hands with soap and clean running water. Preventive efforts are needed to deal with it, bearing in mind that this outbreak cannot be considered an ordinary pandemic. In order to anticipate wider spread, the Lecturer Team for the D3 Pharmacy Study Program and D3 Health Analyst and in collaboration with LP4M STIKes Karsa Husada Garut made hand sanitizers which will be distributed to residents around Jayaraga, Tarogong Kidul, Garut. Hand sanitizer is a prevention effort by washing hands and soap, if there is no water and soap you can use a hand sanitizer. Some time ago, the supply of hand sanitizers was very limited, so to help the community as well as self-use, they made their own hand sanitizers. Staple food is one of the main and most important things which as a form of concern for STIKes Karsa Husada Garut is always present in the community. Moreover, assistance in the form of groceries is able to ease the burden on the community, especially in the midst of a sluggish economy due to the corona virus.

Menopause is not a disease or disorder and occurs at the end of the last menstrual cycle but certainty is only obtained if a woman has not experienced her menstrual cycle for at least 12 months. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase mothers' understanding of menopause and problems, so that they can experience menopause. The method used was face-to-face counseling held at RW 06 Sindanggalih Village Karangpawitan Garut by distributing questionnaires before and after counseling to determine the level of knowledge and understanding of the community about menopause. Results: This community service resulted in information that the level of understanding of the community before and after counseling increased significantly from 52% to 84%. Conclusion: The counseling activities carried out are expected to make mothers understand more about menopause and overcome any problems during menopause. The material provided is knowledge about menopause and is delivered in a straightforward and clear manner. the community becomes enthusiastic in participating in counseling activities, given the great benefits that can be taken from community service activities.Keywords: Community services, Knowledge, MenopauseABST

Hipertensi telah menjadi penyakit yang mematikan banyak penduduk baik di negara maju maupun berkembang lebih dari delapan dekade terakhir. Pada hipertensi jantung akan memompa darah ke seluruh tubuh dengan tekanan yang sangat tinggi, salah satu faktornya adalah karena stres. Peningkatan tekanan darah akan lebih besar pada individu yang mempunyai kecenderungan stres yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres dengan kejadian hipertensi pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas DTP Wanaraja Tahun 2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan variabel independent Tingkat Stres dan variabel dependentKejadian Hipertensi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 98 orang penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas DTP Wanaraja dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan tingkat stres yang berat (45.9%) dengan kejadian hipertensi yang berat lebih besar (42.9%). Analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara tingkat stres dengan kejadian hipertensi pada penderita hipertensi dengan p-value= 0.001. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat stres dengan kejadian hipertensi pada penderita hipertensi. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai masukan profesi perawat untuk memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang manajemen dan koping stres yang baik serta pendidikan kesehatan untuk menghindari terjadinya komplikasi pada penderita hipertensi.

The skill of installing an electrocardiogram (EKG) is one of the competencies that must be achieved by nursing students. To achieve these skills, it is necessary to have material delivery efforts by lecturers using the right media, so that the learning process becomes more effective. The learning process related to skills takes a lot of time and requires repetition until finally it is truly proficient. Therefore, it is necessary for media that are easily accessible at anytime and anywhere, one of which is through peer learning video media on ECG installation skills as a way to overcome skills problems in taking action on nursing students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using video media (peers) on ECG installation skills in nursing students at STIKes Karsa Husada Garut. The research method is a quasi-experimental design with pre-post test group with control. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 104 students (intervention and control groups). The results of the study showed that some respondents had moderate skills in the installation of ECG before intervention. Most of the respondents have high skills in the installation of ECG after intervention. The results of bivariate analysis using the Whithney U Test Mann Test showed that there was a significant increase between ECG installation skills before and after the intervention was given in the form of using video media (peers) about the ECG installation skills (P Value = 0.000). The use of video media (peers) can improve the ability of nursing students in the action of EKG installation skills.

Many smokers are aware of the consequences of smoking, but still smoking and difficult to eliminating the habit. Many people who smoke in the home without caring for members of the family, let alone toddlers who become passive smokers. Release, the child is very easy by way of the air, and susceptible to various diseases caused. The purpose of this study is to find out more about the behavior of parents who smoke on the childrenâ€™s health (0-5 years) in District Bungbulang. The researchers chose to use a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach. Data completion technique in this research. There were 3 informants who participated in this research, taken using the snowball sampling technique. The results of this study obtained four themes of knowledge about cigarette, reactions to stop smoking at home, smoking habit, and children health. Racial informants are unaware of the dangers of smoking and its effects on children who become passive smokers. However, because of the lack of knowledge about health and knowledge about the impact of smoking on the health of passive smokers, especially children who are insuring. Smokers Find alternatives to embellish the desire, such as doing activities that also avoid the main reasons that cause the desire to smoke. Should use a cigarette replacement, such as candy and multiply the consumption of milk, fruits and vegetables.

Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam memantau perkembangan anak usia dini. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan (KPSP) yang kini dikembangkan dalam bentuk aplikasi e-KPSP untuk memudahkan deteksi tumbuh kembang anak. Penelitian dilakukan pada 52 orang tua siswa PAUD Pelita Hati, Kabupaten Garut. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan keterampilan orang tua setelah menggunakan aplikasi. Sebelum intervensi, skor rata-rata keterampilan 33,10 (kategori rendah-sedang), sedangkan setelah intervensi meningkat menjadi 74,03. Analisis Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test menghasilkan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), membuktikan adanya perbedaan bermakna. Dengan demikian, aplikasi e-KPSP terbukti efektif meningkatkan keterampilan orang tua dalam mendeteksi tumbuh kembang anak usia dini.
