Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa berada pada pencapaian oleh kegiatan pembelajaran yang masih didominasi oleh aktivitas guru dan penggunaan bahan terbuka belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan e-modul. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Tragah. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Tragah dan penelitian sebanyak 25 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Metode Penelitian adalah Pra-eksperimen dengan desain one grup pretest posttest design. Analisis peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis setelah diterapkan model PBL berbantuan e-module.

Abstract

Multi-representation ability is one of the important skills to be developed. One of them is because it can play a role in helping students master the material being taught. In science subjects, one of the materials that uses quite diverse forms of representation is simple planes. This shows that there is a possibility that students' multi-representation abilities will affect students' understanding of the material. In addition, another factor that can influence is the adversity quotient of students. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the students' multi-representation ability on simple plane material in terms of Adversity Quotient Aspects. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII G UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Bangkalan with a total of 30 students. The research instrument used was a multi-representation ability test and interview guidelines. The results of this study are the high category of multi-representation abilities consisting of 4 students, the medium category consisting of 22 students, and the low category consisting of 4 students with an average test score of 58.33. The results of the interview show that students' multi-representation abilities and understanding of simple plane materials support and influence each other. Students with multi-representation abilities and good understanding of the material can easily understand the questions given and can also give correct answers, thus obtaining high test scores. owever, the adversity quotient is not always directly proportional to student test results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of students' misconceptions using the five-tier diagnostic test on the concept of vibration, waves, and light at UPT SMPN 21 Gresik. This study used a quantitative descriptive research method. The population in this study consisted of all students in grade VIII, which consisted of three classes. Sampling was carried out using saturated samples with a total of 80 students divided into three classes, namely class VIIIA, VIIIB, and VIIIC. The data collected used the fivetier diagnostic test instrument. The results of the study showed that: 1) the percentage of classical misconceptions from 80 students was 23,60%, 2) students who experienced high category misconceptions on the concepts of vibration, waves, and light were 14 students with a percentage of 17,50%, students who experienced moderate category misconceptions were 52 students with a percentage of 65,00%, and students who experienced low category misconceptions were 14 students with a percentage of 17,50%, 3) students' misconceptions on the concept of vibration were 28,82%, the concept of waves was 21,18%, and the concept of light was 24,47%.

Abstract

Science comic based on auvidi media are rarely applied in science learning. Based on the result of pre-research at SMP Al Hikam Kemayoran students consider that learning science is very difficult and boring due to the lack of use of learning media. The solution given is to develop science comics based on auvidi media on global warming materials. This development research aims to determine the feasibility, readability, and students responses to the media. This study uses the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted at SMP Al Hikam Kemayoran class VII with 34 students. The sampling method is a saturated sample technique for class VII students. Data collection techniques use interviews, quesrionnaires, and documentation. The results of the media feasibility validation obtained an average result of 0,98, while the material eligibility validation obtained an average of 0,83 as very valid. The readability percentage obtained an average score 83,50% and student respons obtained an average score of 88,88% in the very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the results of a preliminary study on the development of ethnoscience-based science learning media in the form of perceptions about the original science of the community regarding the process of making rengginang lorjuk processed from Talang Siring sea into scientific science. This research is based on the still limited reconstruction of original science that develops in society into scientific science that can be studied and used as a source of learning independently. This research is crucial to do, considering that no one has comprehensively analyzed this topic. The subject in this study was one of the residents of the Talang Siring coastal area who had a home business in the form of rengginang lorjuk production. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data in this study were obtained from the results of (1) interviews; (2) Observation; and (3) Documentation. The research data obtained was then analyzed in several stages, namely data reduction, data display, and concluding/verification. Based on the results of scientific studies, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between indigenous knowledge (Indigenous Knowledge) and scientific knowledge (Scientific Knowledge).

Abstract

One of exciting learning media is magazine in which students prefer to read this rather than books since magazine contains of various colorful images and appropriate information. Magazine can be developed by integrating with science learning approach in order that students can comprehend the concepts easier. This study aims at developing science magazine which is integrated with contextual teaching and learning approach according to the study findings in Talang Siring. The research included in a research and development study, using Borg and Gall model. The research was conducted on October to November 2022, which is located in Talang Siring Pamekasan, Indonesia by identifying ecosystem of beach and mangrove. Furthermore, the observation findings were arranged systematically in developing science magazine. Science magazine was evaluated by experts in concept and learning media. Findings indicated that the science magazine is valid with media validity score 93.5 and content validity score 91.6. Therefore, it is appropriate to implemented in science learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that science magazine is able to be used as learning media in science learning process

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pemasaran digital, terutama media sosial, bagi para pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) Agar penjualan dan keuntungan UMKM meningkat. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 8 peserta UMKM, metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah; pertama, penjelasan tentang penggunaan Slide Power Point dan proyektor LCD; kedua, berbagi pengalaman dan diskusi; dan akhirnya, praktik langsung membuat akun media sosial (Facebook, Instagram dan OLX) dan bagaimana membuatnya menarik bagi pembeli (gambar, kata, cerita, dll.). Diadakan pada tanggal 2 Februari 2020, layanan masyarakat ini didanai oleh Universitas Bhayangkara, Surabaya. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hanya sedikit yang secara aktif menggunakan media sosial sebagai alat promosi dan tidak memisahkan akun toko daring mereka dari akun pribadi mereka, beberapa yang lain menggunakannya sesekali, dan sisanya dari para peserta tidak pernah menggunakan pemasaran media sosial karena kurangnya teknologi keterampilan. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, semua peserta menunjukkan minat besar dalam menggunakan pemasaran media sosial secara terus menerus.Kata kunci: pemasaran digital, pendapatan, kelompok UMKMABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge and skills about digital marketing, especially social media, for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) as well as to increase their sales and profits. Attended by 8 MSME participants, the methods used in this activity were; first, an explanation of Power Point slides and LCD projectors usage; second, sharing experiences and discussions; and finally, the direct practice of creating social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram and OLX) and how to make them attractive to buyers (pictures, words, stories, etc.). Held on 2 February 2020, this community service was funded by Bhayangkara University, Surabaya. The results show that only a few actively use social media as their promotional tool and not separating the online store account from participant’s personal accounts. Some of the participants use it occasionally, and the rest never use social media marketing due to lack of technological skills. After participating in this activity, all participants continuously show great interest in using social media marketing.Keywords: digital marketing, income, MSME village group Banjar Kemuning

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi getaran, gelombang, dan bunyi melalui model pembelajaran SOLE berbantuan PhET. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTs Darul Ulum Al-Cholily Bojonegoro dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII B sebanyak 16 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII A sebanyak 17 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dalam bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan Uji N-Gain Score. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain Score dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran SOLE berbantuan PhET pada materi getaran, gelombang, dan bunyi sebesar 0,58 dengan kategori sedang.   Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran SOLE berbantuan PhET efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
