Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan produk dan respons siswa terhadap bahan ajar e-module tema tambak udang Socah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Uji coba produk terdiri dari uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan kelompok besar. Hasil uji validasi media dan materi memperoleh skor sebesar 1,00 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil respons siswa pada uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh skor senilai 89%, 90%, dan 96%. Oleh karena itu, bahan ajar e-module tema tambak udang Socah dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini berfokus untuk meningkatkan keterampilan generik sains siswa melalui penerapan learning cycle 7E berabtuan tarsia puzzle pada materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest dan dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Lamongan kelas VII tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 31 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes keterampilan generik sains siswa yakni pretest  dan posttest. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain untuk mengukur peningkatan keterampilan generik sains siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator keterampilan generik sains siswa mempunyai rerata N-Gain sebesar 0,59 dengan kriteria sedang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model in reducing student misconceptions about the material of elements, compounds, and mixtures. The research used a descriptive quantitative method using a pre-experimental research design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample is class VIII-D SMP Negeri 2 Saronggi, with purposive sampling as the sampling technique. The student's misconception was identified using a three-tier diagnostic test. Data collection techniques using tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) The effectiveness of the guided inquiry learning model reduces student misconceptions about the material of elements, compounds, and mixtures by testing the hypothesis obtained Asymp. Sig < 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05), (2) the guided inquiry learning model can reduce student misconception from an average of 51,92 to 18,46, (3) the implementation of learning of the guided inquiry learning model obtained a percentage of 93% with a perfect category, (4) student responses to guided inquiry learning model is very good with a percentage 80%.

Abstract

One of the causes of low motivation and retention is the inaccuracy of the learning strategies applied. Therefore, it is necessary to update learning in order to be able to provide digital skills to students through the implementation of technology. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing augmented reality on learning motivation and student retention in biology learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research was conducted in class X SMA with a total sample of 65 students. The selection of samples was done randomly. Learning motivation was measured using a questionnaire of 36 question items and a Likert scale of 5 points. Retention was measured using an essay test. The test results were then measured using rubric with a scale of 0-4. Data were analyzed using a single ANCOVA with a pretest as the covariate. The results showed a significant effect of AR implementation on students' motivation and retention in biology learning. These results indicate that AR can be a solution as a pedagogical resource to increase motivation and empower retention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' conceptual understanding of ecology and Indonesia’s biodiversity materials from the perspective of students' self-concepts. The type of research used was quantitative descriptive. The study was carried out at SMPN 4 Bangkalan in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year involving 50 research subjects of grade VII students. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests. The research findings indicate that: 1) The students' self-concept regarding science material shows that 10% of students were included in the high category, 28% in the moderate category, and 62% in the low category; 2) In the high self-concept group, the average concept understanding score was 69.64% with a good criterion, in the moderate self-concept group, the average concept understanding score was 49.23% with a sufficient criterion, and in the low self-concept group, the average concept understanding score was 23.92% with a poor criterion. Students with a high self-concept tend to have a good understanding of concepts related to ecology and biodiversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI melalui metode eksperimen yang telah dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Pademawu tahun ajaran 2018/2019.  Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-experimental dengan desain penelitian one-group-pretest-posttest. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes essay dan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains. Hasil analisis uji t sampel berpasangan yaitu signifikansi sebesar 0,00 lebih kecil dari 0,05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nilai pretest dan posttest siswa. Keterampilan proses sains siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI melalui metode eksperimen memperoleh nilai sebesar 25 dengan kategori cukup baik, setelah pembelajaran dengan model SAVI melalui metode eksperimen memperoleh nilai sebesar 72 dengan kategori baik. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model SAVI melalui metode eksperimen terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa diperoleh persentase 98% dengan kategori hampir seluruh aktivitas terlaksana.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model contextual teaching and learning dengan metode eksperimen pada materi Ekologi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di MTs Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Gresik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah semua siswa kelas VII sedangkan sampelnya yaitu kelas VII C dan VII D dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan ialah quasi experimental design dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Analisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dihitung dengan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori tinggi dan pada kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,27 dengan kategori rendah.Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis, contextual teaching and learning, eksperimen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan E-LKPD materi pencemaran lingkungan berbasis Moodle. E-LKPD ini dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu Analysis (Analinis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Uji kelayakan terdiri dari aspek media dan aspek materi yang dilakukan oleh tiga validator yaitu dosen ahli media, dosen ahli materi, dan guru IPA SMP. Hasil rata-rata kelayakan E-LKPD memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 81,6% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan reliabilitas sebesar 88,8% yang berarti reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD materi pencemaran lingkungan berbasis Moodle layak dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan populasi manusia yang terus meningkat dan kebutuhan yang semakin mendesak akan sumber daya pangan telah menempatkan sektor perikanan di bawah tekanan yang signifikan. Dalam menanggapi tantangan ini, konsep ekonomi hijau telah muncul sebagai pendekatan yang krusial. Ekonomi hijau menawarkan kerangka kerja yang berkelanjutan untuk memanfaatkan sumber daya alam, termasuk di dalamnya sektor perikanan.Dengan demikian, pengembangan inovasi produk perikanan yang berbasis pada konsep ekonomi hijau perlu dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian kali ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk perikanan berbasis green economy dan mengetahui respons masyarakat terhadap produk perikanan berbasis green economy. Penelitian ini termasuk RnD (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilakukan tempat budidaya tumbuhan kunyit di Desa Klabetan, Kecamatan Sepuluh Kabupaten Bangkalan, Madura, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Dan budidaya ikan di Desa Banyuajuh, Kecamatan Kamal, Kabupaten Bangkalan, Madura, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah 1) Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan produk dapat menambah berat badan ikan, panjang ikan, dan daya tahan tubuh ikan. 2) Hasil respons masyarakat memperoleh nilai sebesar 89,08% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to explore junior high school students' experiences in using Question Card media in algebra learning. Using a qualitative approach, this study involved 26 students of grade VII B at SMP Darul Ulum 5 Rebalas as the main participants. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and student response questionnaires to understand perceptions, engagement, and challenges faced during the learning process using Question Cards. The results showed that Question Card media was able to increase students' interest, attention, and engagement in algebra learning. Most students stated that using Question Cards made learning more interactive, enjoyable, and helped them understand abstract algebraic concepts. Data analysis showed that the level of student learning interest was in the high category (74.7%), with indicators of engagement and attention also showing high percentages. However, there were some students who still felt more comfortable with conventional methods, so further adaptation was needed. These findings confirm that Question Card media can be an innovative alternative in mathematics learning, especially algebra, to enhance students' learning experiences actively and meaningfully. This study recommends the development of similar media and training for teachers to optimize the use of interactive media in mathematics learning at the junior high school level.
