Abstract

Learning strategies in developing the literacy skills of elementary school children in Bima district can be done through playing while learning. Learning activities carried out by elementary school (SD) teachers in helping students especially in literacy for students with learning difficulties (dyslexia) can be done in various ways. One of them is by implementing game activities in the learning process. The game activities here are the traditional Bima game activities (mpa'a mcimi). This activity can be modified by using word cards (flashcards) in it. Efforts made in helping students with learning difficulties (dyslexia) carried out at Jorato Sape Public Elementary School, Bima Regency used the implementation method which was carried out by checking the initial literacy skills of students in grades 1 to grade 5, implementing play activities, and evaluating. From the initial data, the ability of students' learning difficulties varies, from difficulty distinguishing letters, to difficulty combining syllables. While the application of the team uses games by utilizing word cards (flashcards) in these traditional games. Of the 14 students who had learning difficulties, 4 of them showed changes in recognizing letters better with 2 treatments. While 10 other students have not shown optimal changes. This is due to the lack of time and motivation from within the students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan di SLB Baiturrahman dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru-guru di sekolah mitra dalam menyusun Prototype IPA dan Kalkulator AI berbasis Mit App inventer versi 2, sebagai langkah awal dalam memperbaiki/meningkatkan literasi sains dan numerasi siswa tuna netra di SLB Baiturrahman. Dalam kegiatan ini, ada 3 kegiatan inti yang telah dilakukan Tahap perencanaan Program yakni melibatkan mitra dalam mengidentifikasi dan melakukan analisis kebutuhan, kedua pelaksanaan program yakni melaksanakan pelatihan kalkulator AI dan Prototype IPA dan terkahir melaksanakan evaluasi yakni evaluasi untuk peserta pelatihan dan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan prototype IPA dan Kalkulator AI. Dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan di atas, rencana selanjutnya tim pelaksana akan melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi sebagai tindak lanjut dari kegiatan pengabdian. Monitoring dan evaluasi ini akan dilakukan ±1 bulan setelah kegiatan berlangsung sampai tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini tercapai. Adapun hasil pretest dan posttest pada pelatihan Prototype IPA dan Kalkulator AI menunjukan hasil yang menyatakan bahwa kemampuan mitra meningkat dari pretest pelatihan  prototype IPA 38,44 %, untuk hasil posttest 67,44%.untuk pelatihan kalkulator AI hasil pretest 62,22 %, untuk hasil posttest 83,33%. Agar pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dapat berjalan dengan baik maka perlu pendampingan lebih lajut terutama bagi guru yang sama sekali tidak memiliki kemampuan IT, agar kegiatan lebih menghemat waktu atau efisien. Kelanjutan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berdasarkan kesepakatan dengan mitra akan membentuk tim volunter untuk pendampingan keberlanjutan  pelatihan Prototype IPA dan Kalkulator AI berbasis Mit App inventer versi 2 untuk semua guru yang menjadi pengampu pada kelas tuna netra yang kemarin berkendala dalam mengikuti pelatihan. Science Prototype and AI (Artificial Intelligence) Calculator Training for Special School Teachers Increases Scientific Literacy and Numeracy This service activity was carried out at Baiturrahman SLB with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of teachers at partner schools in preparing Science Prototypes and AI Calculators based on Mit App inventor version 2, as a first step in improving/increasing the scientific literacy and numeracy of blind students in SLB Baiturrahman. In this activity, there are 3 core activities that have been carried out in the Program planning stage, namely involving partners in identifying and conducting needs analysis, secondly implementing the program namely carrying out training on AI calculators and Science Prototypes and finally carrying out evaluations namely evaluation for training participants and evaluation of prototype preparation training activities IPA and AI Calculator. From the results of the service activities carried out above, the implementation team's next plan is to carry out monitoring and evaluation as a follow-up to the service activities. This monitoring and evaluation will be carried out ± 1 month after the activity takes place until the objectives of implementing this service activity are achieved. The pretest and posttest results on the Science Prototype and AI Calculator training showed results stating that the partners' abilities increased from the pretest to the Science prototype training by 38.44%, to the posttest results 67.44%. For the AI calculator training the pretest results were 62.22%, for posttest results 83.33%. So that the implementation of service activities can run well further assistance is needed, especially for teachers who do not have IT skills at all, so that activities save time or are more efficient. The continuation of this service activity based on an agreement with partners will be to form a volunteer team to assist in the continuation of the Mit App inventor version 2 based Science Prototype and AI Calculator training for all teachers who are teachers in blind classes who yesterday had problems participating in the training.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of AI calculators as interactive media in mathematics learning for blind students. Apart from that, AI calculators can also increase students' desire to participate more actively in mathematics learning. However, it should be noted that the use of AI calculators as interactive media cannot yet replace the role of teachers in teaching mathematics for blind students. Teachers still need to provide guidance and assistance to blind students in using AI calculators and provide material and practice math questions that suit the abilities of blind students. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, interviews and written tests. The research results show that using an AI calculator can significantly improve the numeracy skills of blind students. Therefore, it is recommended that AI calculators be used as interactive media that can be applied in mathematics learning for blind students to improve their numeracy skills and make it easier to understand mathematical concepts and solve mathematical problems

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve women's life skills in processing the potential of the village, namely watermelon into an agribusiness product that has a high economic selling value. The method of implementing this service uses training with target partners, namely housewives, and women of productive age in Gapura village, Central Lombok Regency, NTB. The results of this service show that this activity could improve the ability and skills of the people of Gapura Village to process watermelon into products with more selling value, namely watermelon peel and jelly candy. In addition, this activity could increase the knowledge of Gapura Village women to process agricultural products based on agribusiness. Based on the results of the evaluation, most of the partners responded that this training was very useful in improving life skills by obtaining a percentage of 55%.

Abstract

Title (Utilization Of Iot (Internet Of Things) For Science Practices In Conditional Straight Motion Materials (GLBB) In Online Learning During The Covid-19 Pandemic). Science subjects, in several chapters of lessons that require practicum. The application of science has been widely developed as a demonstration tool when explaining abstract science concepts. Basically, science is learning that underlies all experimental activities. Science tools that can be used as learning media are used as practicum tools or demonstration props for science material, instrumentation in universities and science material on straight motion at school. The novelty in this research is the Development of Internet-based Science Practicum Tool Of Thigs. So as to be able to develop students' interest in learning science in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. The novelty in this research is the Development of Internet-based Science Practicum Tool Of Thigs. So as to be able to provide an alternative for online science subject practicum in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses the R & D (Research And Development) method. The model used in this study is the ADDIE model. Meanwhile, the analysis of the implementation of the lesson plans during the learning process was 3.706 with a very good category. From the observations of 2 observers that the use of IoT is very helpful for students in understanding the concept of GLB in the midst of covid 19. This shows that in addition to improving student learning achievement, the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) can increase student interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian penerapan model Inkuiri Apresiatif-BAGJA untuk melatih berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan purposive sampling karena memiliki tujuan khusus yaitu ingin melatih berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa semester II program studi pendidikan IPA dengan subyek penelitian 10 mahasiswa. Hasil analisis data hasil tes berpikir kreatif mahasiswa di dapatkan pada tes awal 45% dengan kategori kurang kreatif dan 75% dengan kategori kreatif.  Sedangkan hasil analisis respon mahasiswa terhadap proses menggukan inkuiri apresiatif BAGJA diperoleh rata-rata mahasiswa yang merespon positif 90%. Secara pnerapan model inkuiri BAGJA  dapat melatih berpikir kreatif mahasiswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelirian ini perangkat pembelajaran dengan desain PBL yang beorientasi pada siswa untuk melatih berpikir kreatif siswa. Sehingga siswa mampu menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan hidup baik di sekolah maupun di masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (developmental research), Kerangka suatu produk yang berkualitas meliputitiga kriteria,yaitu validity, practicality dan effectiveness. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL yang dikembangkan layak untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (Quasy Experiment) dengan menggunakan posttest only control group design. Objek penelitian adalah Kelas VIII-A dan VIII-A SMPIT Insan Kamil Kota Bima, yang akan dilaksanakan selama pada semester ganjil 2022-2023. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui berpikir kreatif siswa adalah tes dan non-tes. Tes diberikan soal open ended sedangkan untuk non-tes adalah unjuk kerja. Alat peraga prototype listrik tenaga bayu yang sudah didesain kemudian dilakukan validasi oleh para ahli, yaitu dari segi konten pada buku petunjuk alat dan produknya. Dari hasil temuan dan diskusi maka dapat disimpulkan, bahwa perangkat dikatakan layak untuk digunakan jika memenuhi unsur validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Sedangkan untuk keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa diperoleh nilai rata-rata 62,5 dengan kategori kreatif.

Abstract

This study investigates the validity and reliability of a numeracy literacy instrument tailored for visually impaired students, focusing on solar system materials. The methodology involved distributing a questionnaire to three randomly selected experts who rated the instrument's content validity using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and the Content Validity Index (CVI). The results indicated that 9 out of 12 items were valid with CVI ? 0.68, while 3 items required revision. The reliability analysis, performed using Cronbach's Alpha, yielded a high value of 0.916, surpassing the critical threshold, thus confirming the instrument's consistency. These findings suggest that, with minor modifications, the instrument is both valid and reliable for assessing numeracy literacy among visually impaired students, highlighting its potential application in inclusive education settings.

Abstract

Penelitian yang di teliti adalah kekuatan argument dari debat Barrack Obama dan Mitt Romey di USA Presidential debat 2012 dengan bantuan video debat dan Membuat transkrip percakapan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mendeskripsikan kekuatan argumentasi yang digunakan presiden Barrack Obama dan Mitt Romney. Mendeskripsikan tujuan utama kekuatan argumentasi yang harus diucapkan Barrack Obama dan Mitt Romney.Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan kata dan Kalimat yang diucapkan yang memiliki argumentasi kuat. Ini juga digunakan untuk menganalisis dan menampilkan data. Kajian juga merupakan bagian dari kajian teks, karena seorang peneliti menganalisis kelebihan-kelebihannya argumen tentang perdebatan antara Barrack Obama dan Mitt Romney.Hasil peneliti ini menemukan total 18 ekstrak yakni 3 ciri argumentasi Ter Laak ada 2 ekstrak menyatakan tidak setuju, ekstrak 4 menyatakan setuju dan 12 ekstrak selalu berdebat satu sama lain. Penelitian menunjukkan ada argumen kekuatan yang digunakan oleh Barrack Obama dan Mitt Romney setelah debat terakhir di new york dia memenangkan presiden USA 2012 dengan mendiskriminasi saingannya. Argumen kekuatan itu efektif dianalisis menggunakan Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) dan teori argumentasi oleh Ter Laak karena mengungkap cara bagaimana Barrack Obama berpolitik pembicara menggambarkan argumen kekuatannya kepada yang kurang kuat
