Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Alor Regency Government Policy, East Nusa Tenggara about Guidance, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, competition, and funding for soccer sports as priority sports. This research method uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic design. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Research subjects of the DPRD, KONI, Dispora, trainers, sports teachers, and athletes. Data analysis techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Research result: Implementation of government policies regarding achievement coaching is regulated in the Regional Regulations and Regent Regulations, Government policies regarding licensed trainer human resources have not been programmed, Government policies regarding facilities and infrastructure have not all been fulfilled, Local government policies regarding the organization of competition have not been maximized, Government policies regarding funding are in accordance with RKA-SKPD and government grants sourced from the APBD. The conclusions of the research on the Policy Implementation of Alor Regency Government, East Nusa Tenggara regarding the Development of Football Sports as Priority Sports have not been following the Regional Regulations and Regent Regulations with funding constraints adjusted to the regional budget.

Abstract

The success reference indicator of the student in the study, it is looked from the study achievement. This research will study an intrinsic factor of student’s motivation, responsibility, and discipline. The objective of this research is to understand how much the influence of discipline, responsibility, and motivation to the study achievement. The research uses the quantitative correlational method. The object of this research is all of the student grade X at science and social studies in Public Senior High School 1 Grobogan who have not through the criteria score; they are 132 students. It has 36 man students and 96 woman students. The result is it has influence between discipline to study achievement, the responsibility to study achievement, motivation to study achievement, discipline, and responsibility to study achievement, discipline, and motivation to study achievement, responsibility, and motivation to study achievement, and discipline, responsibility, and motivation to study achievement. The great invention is if students have an advanced discipline, responsibility, and motivation, they will have a good study achievement and the opposite. It will be better if parents always give motivation, discipline, and responsibility orally or action, so the achievement of students is better.

Abstract

The current research attempts to study SASS standing for Natural Elementary School Student Scout learning activities covering the roles of SASS as the substituent of physical education, the reason underlying physical and sports education omission, SASS peculiarity in strengthening character building, character value taught in SASS, the participation of SASS in strengthening character building. It also aims at looking into the background of academic of the teachers involved in SASS, general issues in SASS such as planning, execution, and evaluation. It is qualitative research with case study research design; data analysis is conducted by using Nvivo 11 software. It is found that physical and sports education is not fully omitted; it is the part of SASS as a school under Jaringan Sekolah Alam Nusantara (a Nature School association in Indonesia). Natural Elementary School Ar-Ridho is mandated to hold SASS because it is the peculiar subject of a Nature School. SASS is the means to train students organizational skill as well as the means to build their character. There are five values of character taught in SASS, namely religiousness, nationalism, self-reliance, cooperation, integrity. Daily activity sheet handed out to the students is the concrete procedure of building students’ character. All the teachers involved in SASS coming from multidisciplinary backgrounds have obtained survival training programs. Generally, SASS is mostly similar to Physical education in term of planning, execution, and evaluation; the differences are in terms of the lesson plan, and mentoring session at the end of SASS class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the emotional intelligence relationship towards locomotor basic movement abilities in kindergarten, the age relationship towards locomotor basic movement abilities in kindergarten, the emotional intelligence and age relationship towards locomotor basic movement abilities in kindergarten. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlation design. The sample of this research is 118 students from State Kindergarten Pembina. Data collection techniques used are Scale, Documentation, and Observation. Partial regression test was obtained p-value of 0.032, because the p-value is 0.032 < a (0.05), it is concluded that there is a significant influence between the emotional intelligence ability with locomotor basic movement in kindergarten. Age factors significantly influence the locomotor basic movement in kindergarten. This is evidenced by the partial regression test, a 0.040 < a (0.05) p-value is obtained. Based on the simultaneous regression test, the p-value is 0.045. Because the p-value is 0.045 < a (0.05), it is concluded that there is a significant influence between the emotional intelligence and age ability with locomotor basic movement in kindergarten. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the emotional intelligence ability towards locomotor basic movement in kindergarten. There is a relationship between age and locomotor basic movement in kindergarten. There is a relationship between emotional intelligence ability and age on locomotor basic movement in kindergarten.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse and examine the correlation between arm muscle strength, grip strength, and body flexibility to the results of long distance shots on woodball. This research applied a correlational design with variables of arm muscle strength, grip strength, and body flexibility to the results of long distance shots on woodball. The samples of this research were 25 Central Java woodball athletes using a pull and push instrument dynamometer, handgrip dynamometer, sit and reach dynamometer and long distance shots test. The results of this research are the arm muscle strength gave an effect to the results of long distance shots by 13.18%. The grip strength gave an effect to the results of long distance shots by 9.42%. The body flexibility had an effect to the results of long distance shots by 7.78%. The arm muscle strength and the grip strength together had an effect to the results of long-distance shots by 24.50%. The arm muscle strength and the flexibility together gave an effect to the results of long-distance shots by 17.14%. The grip strength and the body flexibility together had an effect to the result of long distance shots by 13.63%. The arm muscle strength, the grip strength, and the togok flexibility together gave an effect to the results of long distance shots by 27.60%.

Abstract

The availability of teaching materials that can increase the activeness and independence of children's learning, especially beginner swimmers in the efficiency of improving the ability of motion techniques, greatly affects the quality and success and ability of students to digest the material and increase their own interest to always be enthusiastic in the swimming learning process. The purpose of this study is to produce swimming learning modules in increasing interest in learning and efficiency of swimming motion techniques in children. The method used in this research is (Research and Development) from Borg and Gall which consists of ten steps. This study uses research instruments in the form of interviews with prospective module users including children and beginner swimmers to find out the response to the module. Based on the student response questionnaire, the results obtained were students' interest and positive responses to the modules that had been made. At the development stage the product was produced in the form of a swimming learning module for beginners, validated by 6 experts, and a questionnaire in response to the module. The module testing phase was conducted in 20 children who are beginner swimmers in several Semarang City clubs. Modules are prepared by taking into account aspects of the accuracy of the contents, digestibility of modules, stages of swimming, module attractiveness, appearance, and use of language and terms. Overall, the modules produced were declared valid and according to the experts included in the criteria were eligible to be used. Modules were produced with design and content components that have been tailored to the needs of users.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between personality, attitudes, and spiritual intelligence of students with sportsmanship orientation in sports extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri Rayon 5 Semarang. This research is a correlational study using path analysis. Pearson correlation test results; (1) personality with sportsmanship orientation shows a correlation value 0.366 with F count in table 10.833 (2) Spiritual intelligence with sportsmanship orientation shows a correlation value 0.463 with F count in table 11.023 (3) Attitudes with sportsmanship orientation show a correlation value 0.357 with an F count 6.983 (4) Personality and spiritual intelligence with sportsmanship orientation showed a correlation value 0.366 and 0.344 with an F count 7.824. (5) Spiritual intelligence and attitude with sportsmanship orientation show a correlation value of 0.344 and 0.357 with an F count of 6.921. (6) Personality and attitude with sportsmanship orientation showed a correlation value 0.366 and 0.357 with an F count 6.811. (7) Personality, attitude, and spiritual intelligence with sportsmanship showed a correlation value 0.366 and 0.357 and 0.344 with an F count 5.693. The correlation value of all variables is positive and the correlation value of all the variables is greater than r-table that is 0.158 and all F arithmetic> F table is> 3.93. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between personality, attitude, spiritual intelligence, and sportsmanship orientation.

Abstract

Sports psychology, especially concerning athlete behavior, is the basis for determining athletes' characteristics and performance so that it can affect the development and achievement of athletes in the future. An athlete must be viewed individually because the personality of each athlete is different. The research objective was to analyze the relationship between motivation, self-management, and self-competence with procrastination behavior. The research method used a mixed-method non-experimental approach using a sequential explanatory strategy. The population of 35 athletes, sampling using total sampling, data analysis using Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression with SPSS 25. The results showed a relationship between motivation and procrastination behavior (r = 0.153), self-management with procrastination behavior (r = 0.483), self-competence with procrastination behavior (r = 0.542), motivation and self-management with procrastination behavior (r = 0.483), motivation and self-competence with procrastination behavior (r = 0.557), self-management and self-competence with procrastination behavior (r = 0.653), self-management motivation and self-competence with procrastination behavior (r = 0.653). The conclusion proves that there is a very low relationship between motivation and procrastination behavior, there is a sufficient relationship between self-management and procrastination behavior, there is a strong relationship between self-competence and procrastination behavior, there is an adequate relationship between motivation and self-management with procrastination behavior there is a strong relationship between motivation and procrastination behavior. Self-competence with athlete procrastination behavior is a strong relationship between self-management and self-competence with athlete's procrastination behavior. There is a strong relationship between motivation, self-management, and self-competence with procrastination behavior in futsal athletes at Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya in 2020.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the competence of Physical Education (PE) teachers in learning with an integrative thematic approach in Pekalongan District, reviewed from pedagogical competencies, professional competencies. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with the design of ethnography using critical types of ethnography and data analysis conducted inductively with miles and huberman interactive cycles. The results showed that the pedagogical competencies of PE teachers have been able to: 1) master the characteristics of students, 2) develop curriculum, 3) utilize technology for learning, and 4) organize and utilize assessment and evaluation of processes and learning outcomes in learning with integrative thematic approach. While the professional competencies of teachers have been able to: 1) master the material, structure, concepts, and mindset of supporting science, 2) master basic competency and competency standards, and 3) develop learning materials creatively in the implementation of learning with an integrative thematic approach. There are teachers who have difficulty doing this, because they have never participated in Education and Training and age factors, so have not been able to adapt. It can be concluded that the pedagogical and professional competencies of PE elementary school teachers in Pekalongan District Session District are good enough in the implementation of learning with an integrative thematic approach.

Abstract

Swimming is a water sport that involves movement abilities in the water; yet, the lack of swimming learning media that encourages movement impedes the swimming learning process. This study developed learning media based on interactive multimedia applications that can be accessed via computers and smartphones in conjunction with swimming lessons, as well as to determine and analyze the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia applications under swimming lessons. Development research or educational research and development was the research design. The research subjects and locations are health and sport education students and teachers at private universities in the Kuningan and Cirebon areas. The research resulted in the development of swimming learning media products based on interactive multimedia applications named PRM Mobile Swimming Learning. These products can be accessed via computers and smartphones and are used to assist in the process of swimming learning. Student assessments of the display quality and supporting features (attractiveness and convenience) show that the development of swimming learning media based on interactive multimedia apps is of “Very Good” quality, scoring 87%. While student assessments of material quality and content in swimming learning (utility) indicated that the development of swimming learning media based on interactive multimedia apps was “Very Good” in quality 84%.
