Abstract

The Merdeka Learning Curriculum is a policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which aims to optimize the existing curriculum. The purpose of this study is to analyze the readiness of 4th grade teachers in SDN 3 Troso in implementing the Free Learning Curriculum. The research method is a case study involving two teachers and school principals in the elementary school implementing the Merdeka Learning Curriculum. This study was collected based on interviews, observations, and documentation. Then analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's readiness in the application of the independent curriculum seen from the results of the interviews in accordance with the 6 indccariat shows that the teacher is still not ready in implementing an independent curriculum. Still lacking understanding regarding the structure of the independent curriculum and still needs training related to the preparation of the teaching module and learning assessment at Kurkulum Merdeka. The teachers still do not have a clear picture related to the application of the Merdeka Curriculum. The level of readiness shown can be a consideration for schools to immediately respond to problems. In addition, the concept of an independent curriculum needs to be understood by all elements of educational institutions, so that in its application it can run optimally, effectively, and efficiently and be able to achieve the goals of Kurikum Merdeka itself

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of karate martial arts to the development of discipline and responsibility in elementary school children. Using qualitative research methods, the study involved participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, karate coaches, and parents, and analysis of documentation related to the application of karate. The results showed that participation in regular karate training contributed positively to the improvement of students' discipline and sense of responsibility. The discipline taught through training in karate helps children understand the importance of rules and consistency. In addition, the responsibility instilled through the cultivation of attitudes demonstrated in karate training strengthens their ability to take responsibility for their own actions. The implications of these findings suggest that karate can be an effective tool in the character education of primary school children, with the potential to enhance life skills that are important for their future development.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang diberikan pada anak RA merupakan dasar bagi perkembangan anak pada tahap selanjutnya, oleh sebab itu perkembangan pada masa awal harus diberikan rangsangan secara optimal agar aspek perkembangan kognitif anak dapat tercapai secara maksimal. Guru belum mampu memproduksi media pembelajaran selain majalah dan terbatasnya kemampuan guru dalam membuat APE menjadikan kami berminat memberikan pelatihan dalam pembuatan media kognitif berbasis puzzle paper quilling. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat mengasah otak anak yaitu dengan membuat karya melalui paper quilling. Paper quilling merupakan karya yang berasal dari kertas dan digulung yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan sikap kreativitas dan suka berinovasi sejak dini sehingga berdampak pada aspek kognitifnya.  Selain mengasah kreativitas, kegiatan ini dapat digunakan untuk mengasah ketrampilan motorik halus maupun motorik kasar bagi anak-anak. Perkembangan motorik berkaitan dengan proses mengingat, pengambilan keputusan dan pemecahan masalah. Perkembangan kognitif anak mengacu pada tahapan kemampuan anak dalam memperoleh makna pengetahuan, pengalaman yang dilalui dan informasi yang diperoleh. Masa kanak-kanak kemampuan mengingat suatu hal maupun pelajaran lebih mudah diingat. Tujuan adanya pengabdian paper quilling agar membantu guru dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran (APE) yang mampu mengasah kemampuan kognitif anak dengan pelatihan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis paperquilling. Metode pelaksanaan dilaksanakan dengan training education, experience, mentoring, monitoring dan evaluasi. Dalam pembuatan media paper quilling diperlukan kreatifitas dalam menentukan warna dan bentuk agar hasilnya dapat menarik minat belajar peserta didik. Guru membuat media kognitif paper quilling bertemakan hewan dengan sangat antusias. Guru terlihat dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam membuat media paper quilling dengan hasil yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar di kelasKata kunci: Media, Alat Permainan Educative, Paper quilling

Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of the Teaching Campus Program in Improving the Numerical Literacy of Phase B Students of SD Negeri 3 Kedung. This study aims to determine the implementation of the teaching campus program in improving the numeracy literacy of phase B students at SD Negeri 3 Kedung. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Kedung in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. Data analysis using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. An important finding from this study is that there is an increase in the numeracy literacy quality of phase B students at SD Negeri 3 Kedung through the teaching campus program, with innovation programs to improve literacy and numeracy for students such as the calistung learning program, teaching assistance, and STEAM-based learning which implemented when the campus teaching program is running. This means that the implementation of the teaching campus program is in accordance with the needs of the target school. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in the numeracy literacy quality of phase B students at SD Negeri 3 Kedung in the implementation of the teaching campus program. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dari program kampus mengajar dalam meningkatkan literasi numerasi peserta didik fase B SD Negeri 3 Kedung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 3 Kedung pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Analisis data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Temuan penting dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat peningkatan kualitas literasi numerasi peserta didik fase B di SD Negeri 3 Kedung melalui program kampus mengajar, dengan inovasi program-program peningkatan literasi dan numerasi untuk peserta didik seperti program belajar calistung, Asistensi mengajar, dan pembelajaran berbasis STEAM yang diterapkan saat program kampus mengajar berjalan. Hal ini berarti bahwa impelentasi program kampus mengajar berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah sasaran. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kualitas literasi numerasi peserta didik fase B SD Negeri 3 Kedung pada Implementasi program kampus mengajar.Kata Kunci: Kampus Mengajar, Literasi, Numerasi, Fase B.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi seni rupa yang terhambat oleh kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Pembelajaran yang biasanya digunakan cenderung kurang menarik bagi siswa untuk ikut aktif dan mengembangkan pemahaman yang mendalam. Penggunaan media pembelajaran dapat menjadi solusi untuk mendukung kemampuan pemahaman siswa pada materi seni rupa. Dengan demikian, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh media plastisin terhadap pemahaman konsep pada seni rupa tiga dimensi siswa kelas II. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif menggunakan jenis one grup dan percobaan desain post-test. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 1 Krasak Bangsri dengan subyek penelitian seluruh siswa di kelas II yang terdiri dari 28 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan latihan soal pretest dan posttest dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata (mean) pada pretest adalah 54, dan nilai rata-rata (mean) pada posttest adalah 77. Hasil uji normalitas data menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi 0,05. Hasil data uji hipotesis dengan paired simple t-test nilai signifikansi yang di dapat adalah 0,000 (< 0,05) yang artinya hipotesis diterima.  Berdasarkan data diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa media plastisin memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep seni siswa kelas II di SDN 1 Krasak Bangsri. Penggunaan media plastisin dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar secara langsung, lebih menyenangkan dan merangsang imajinasi sehingga media plastisin efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep seni rupa di kelas ll serta dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of the utilization of flipbooks as a learning tool on the learning outcomes of students in class IV at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar. especially regarding their understanding of the concept of plant reproduction 21 students participated in this study, which used a quantitative methodology and a pre-experimental design with a single group pre-and post-tests. Multiple-choice exams that were administered both before and after the learning therapy were used to gather data. Flipbook-based learning media was used to collect this data. According to the study's findings, class IV student learning outcomes at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar significantly improved. Compared to the pretest score (60.38%) of 13.14%, the average posttest score was 73.52% higher. The results show that flipbook media as a learning tool has an influence on student learning outcomes, especially in understanding the concept of plant reproduction. This shows that the use of interactive learning media such as flipbooks can influence student engagement and understanding of science.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the transformation process in understanding how a learning space can be converted into a reading corner at SDN 4 Bringin, identify the obstacles that arise during the implementation of the Reading Corner and find the right solution, and find out the positive impact produced by the existence of a reading corner for students and school environment. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The implementation of the Reading Corner by Batch 5 Teaching Campus students at SDN 4 Bringin through the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation stages showed a significant positive impact. Despite facing obstacles such as limited funds, lack of enthusiasm among some students, and inadequate infrastructure, solutions such as book donations and team encouragement helped overcome these problems. The Reading Corner provides a conducive learning environment, increases students' interest in reading, and supports literacy activities at school. Positive responses from students and support from teachers indicate that this program has succeeded in providing great benefits at SDN 4 Bringin.

Abstract

Karimunjawa as a leading marine tourism destination demands increased English language proficiency, both for teachers and students. Its location in the 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) region faces challenges in access to educational technology and improving English language proficiency as a provision for the younger generation in facing global interactions. However, the implementation of English learning at SDN 6 Karimunjawa is still limited. The learning process tends to be conventional, with teachers using more lecture methods and textbooks without utilizing modern technology. The objective of this community service activity is to improve innovative learning management and English language skills through the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR)-based ICT Books for teachers at SDN 6 Karimunjawa. The methods used include socialization, training, technology application, as well as mentoring and evaluation. This activity was attended by 17 teachers and went well, where participants were introduced to the ABBI (Aku Bisa Berbahasa Inggris) book integrated with AR technology. The results of the training and mentoring showed that 88% of teachers stated that this program was very useful, 82% considered AR media capable of improving teaching creativity, and 76% felt that its use was relatively easy although they still needed further mentoring. The observation results showed an increase in teacher competence by 40–53% in the use of innovative media, the application of AR in vocabulary learning, and increased student interaction and engagement in the classroom. For students, the initial and final ability tests showed an average increase in vocabulary mastery of 24.4%, pronunciation 22.3%, and learning engagement 25%, indicating that AR-based ICT Book is effective in improving learning outcomes while creating a more active, enjoyable, and contextual learning atmosphere. The application of AR-based ICT Books successfully improved teachers' English language skills and pedagogical competence, and supported the achievement of SDGs point 4 (Quality Education) in producing superior human resources.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the widespread issue of bullying in education, due to its negative impacts on individuals, the school environment, and school academics.This study examines the social phenomenon of bullying at Daren 2 Public Elementary School. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis refers to the Miles and Huberman model, which includes three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification and conclusion drawing. The research findings revealed that verbal bullying, such as teasing, insults, and exclusion, still frequently occurs and has a negative impact on the social, psychological, and academic aspects of victims. The contributing factors are a quiet personality, lack of parental supervision, and unstable family conditions. The impacts experienced by victims include low self-confidence, trauma, fear of social interactions, and decreased academic achievement. Therefore, a school-based approach is needed through a bullying prevention program and synergy between parents and teachers in providing emotional support to create a conducive and inclusive learning environment.
