Abstract

This study aimed to determine the community's attractiveness in managing waste in Jombong Hamlet, Patent, Dukun, and Magelang. This activity aims to reduce the accumulation of household waste so that there is no disaster and to utilize the waste with the creations and innovations of the surrounding community. The methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. With the PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach, the service team views the existence of a waste bank as an essential asset for the community. The results show that waste bank management benefits the surrounding community; the environment becomes comfortable, beautiful, and green. This study concludes that household waste can benefit from the social, economic, and environmental aspects that positively impact the Jombong Hamlet Waste Bank.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah (MD) Nibrosul Athfal, established in 2006 in Krutuk Hamlet as a non-formal religious education institution, faces significant challenges in its financial governance. This research and community service initiative revealed that financial recording was still being conducted manually, often leading to difficulties and inaccuracies. Furthermore, the management of daily financial notes was frequently handled by the students (santri) themselves, resulting in sub-optimal financial management. Addressing these shortcomings, the program aimed to transform the manual financial system into a digital one to assist in effective financial administration. The methodology employed was the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, with data collected through interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to thoroughly analyze institutional needs. The core solution implemented was the development of a recording system based on the Microsoft Access Application. The results demonstrate that the transition from a manual to a digital system successfully organized and regulated the financial system at MD Nibrosul Athfal, significantly increasing recording efficiency and generating more accountable financial reports.

Abstract

There were at least four schools before the Mullā Ṣadrā era, namely peripatetic, illumination, ‘irfa>n, and kala>m. These four schools reached common ground in a school of thought which became known as al-H}ikmah al-Muta'a>liyyah, which was pioneered and developed by Mullā Ṣadrā. This paper aims to reveal how the epistemology of Mullā adrā in al-H}ikmah al-Muta'a>liyyah. The writing method uses the library method. The findings of this study are that Mullā Ṣadrā succeeded in reconciling the peripatetic, illumination, 'irfān, and kala>m methods and then harmonized them with Islamic law. Mullā Ṣadrā believes that the most successful method for attaining true knowledge is kasyaf which is supported by revelation and does not conflict with burha>n. This can be seen when Mullā Ṣadrā interprets surah al-Wāqi'ah. At first, he was busy studying discursive books so he felt he already had extensive knowledge. However, when his spiritual vision began to open, he realized that he was empty of true knowledge and convincing essence and that could be achieved through żauq. Mullā Ṣadrā metaphysical thought is based on three main teachings, namely as}a>lah al-wuju>d (existence excellence), tasyki>k al-wuju>d (gradation of form), harakah al jauariyah (substantial movement) and al-asfār al-aqliyah al-arba'ah.

Abstract

Abstrak Penggunaan alat-alat pengeditan foto, seperti aplikasi Photoroom, telah menjadi langkah penting dalam memastikan bahwa setiap gambar yang digunakan dalam pemasaran online memiliki kualitas yang memadai. Kendati Photoroom dapat digunakan untuk visualisasi produk yang menarik, akan tetapi banyak individu dan pelaku usaha belum banyak yang mengetahuinya. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para mitra dalam melakukan edit foto produk sebagai media promosi dengan menggunakan aplikasi Photoroom. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan kurang lebih 45 hari yaitu dimulai dari 20 Juli sampai dengan 30 September 2023 di Desa Adipuro, Kecamatan Kaliangkrik Kabupaten Magelang. Mitra yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 15 remaja di Desa Adipuro yang memiliki orang tua sebagai pemilik usaha kecil. Kegitan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pengabdian ini telah memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan para peserta dalam melakukan edit foto produk sebagai media promosi dengan menggunakan aplikasi Photoroom. Sebelum dilaksanakannya pengabdian, data awal menunjukkan bahwa hanya 66,7% peserta yang memiliki kemampuan sangat baik dalam menggunakan smartphone. Namun, setelah pelaksanaan pengabdian, terjadi peningkatan yang mencolok, di mana 93,3% peserta menunjukkan kemampuan yang sangat baik dalam memanfaatkan smartphone untuk keperluan editing foto. Tingginya persentase peserta yang meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menggunakan smartphone dapat dianggap sebagai indikator keberhasilan pengabdian. Kata kunci: pengabdian kepada masyarakat; pelatihan; photoroom. Abstract Photo editing tools, such as the Photoroom application, have become essential in ensuring that every image used in online marketing is of sufficient quality. Even though Photoroom can be used to visualize attractive products, many individuals and business people need to learn about it. This service aims to improve partners' abilities in editing product photos as promotional media using the Photoroom application. This service activity will be carried out for approximately 45 days, from July 20 to September 30, 2023, in Adipuro Village, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang Regency. The partners involved in this activity were 15 teenagers in Adipuro Village whose parents were small business owners. Service activities are carried out through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. This service has had a significant impact on increasing the participants' ability to edit product photos as promotional media using the Photoroom application. Before the service, initial data showed that only 66.7% of participants had excellent smartphone use abilities. However, after carrying out the service, there was a striking increase, where 93.3% of participants showed excellent skills in using smartphones for photo editing purposes. The high percentage of participants who improve their smartphone use indicates the success of their service. Keywords: community service; training; photoroom

Abstract

This paper seeks to demonstrate that the integrated theory of planned behavior (TPB) and entrepreneurial orientation theory significantly influence the entrepreneurial intentions of women entrepreneurs in upper-middle-income countries, particularly in Indonesia. The research provides empirical evidence highlighting the combined effect of TPB and entrepreneurial orientation on women's motivation to engage in entrepreneurial activities. The findings emphasize the significance of subjective standards, offering essential recommendations for policymakers and educators seeking to foster female entrepreneurship in similar economic contexts. The study utilized a quantitative approach through a cross-sectional survey of 329 women entrepreneurs selected via convenience sampling. Data collection employed a standardized questionnaire, modified from previous studies, with responses assessed using a five-point Likert scale. Analytical methods included partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) to assess both measurement and structural models. The findings indicate that the components of TPB and entrepreneurial orientation considerably impact entrepreneurial intentions, with subjective norms having the most substantial effect. The study provides practical recommendations for policymakers and organizations that help entrepreneurs, highlighting the importance of enhancing social support for women entrepreneurs through initiatives such as mentorship programs and entrepreneurship training. These proposals seek to promote entrepreneurial advancement among women in Indonesia and other countries with comparable economic characteristics.
