Abstract

Peningkatan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Melalui Booklet Berbasis Etnosains Pecel Semanggi Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui booklet berbasis etnosains pecel semanggi Surabaya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretest Posttest. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup di kelas VII F SMPN 53 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang melibatkan 34 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Skor keterampilan berpikir kritis dianalisis peningkatannya menggunakan rumus N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik meningkat dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,75 dengan kriteria tinggi setelah pembelajaran menggunakan booklet berbasis etnosains pecel semanggi Surabaya. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk memperluas referensi guru dalam memilih media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu booklet berbasis etnosains pecel semanggi Surabaya efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The development of technology in the world of education can produce learning innovations, one of which is educational games. This study aims to develop an Android-based educational game application as a learning medium on the material of internet connectivity types for class X TKJ students at SMKN 1 Sepulu. This study uses the Research and Development (RD) method with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study indicate that this educational game application has succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of learning through validation testing and user trials. Validation by media experts obtained a percentage of 96.3% and material experts 98.4%, both in the "very good" category. User trials involving students were carried out in three stages, namely individual trials 95.7%, small groups 96.0%, and large groups 90.7%, all in the "very good" category. With these results, this Android-based educational game application is considered suitable for use as a learning medium to increase student motivation and learning outcomes. This study shows that the development of educational game-based learning media can be an innovative solution to support more interesting and effective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of validity of PowerPoint presentations in the context of Jumiang Beach on ecology and biodiversity material. This study applies a quantitative descriptive approach that focuses on the validity test [material experts and media experts]. The subjects in this study were two science education lecturers at Trunojoyo University, Madura. The research instrument was a validation sheet for material experts, which measured aspects of the harmony and integrity of the material and clarity of presentation, while the validation sheet for media experts measured aspects of media design and relevance and usefulness of the media. Based on the validation results, the validity of the material from PowerPoint presentations in the context of Jumiang Beach obtained an average score of 95%, classified as very valid, while the validity of the media obtained an average score of 94%, classified as very valid. Thus, PowerPoint presentations in the context of Jumiang Beach can be applied as a relevant learning resource for students on ecology and biodiversity material.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the validity of the material presented in a PowerPoint developed from the rujak kelang context on the topic of living things classification. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach focusing on the validity assessment conducted by a subject-matter expert. The research instrument used was a material validation questionnaire that evaluated three aspects: material feasibility, language feasibility, and presentation feasibility. The validation data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques based on the percentage of expert assessment scores. The results showed that the material validity of the rujak kelang context PowerPoint obtained an average score of 94%, which falls into the very valid category. This indicates that the PowerPoint developed from the rujak kelang context can be used as a contextual learning resource to strengthen students’ understanding of the concept of living things classification and to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
