Abstract

Job interviews are critical in determining candidates' employment success, with self-awareness playing a significant role in interview performance. This study explores the influence of self-awareness on successful and unsuccessful job interview candidates through a qualitative case study approach. In-depth interviews were conducted with ten participants—five successful and five unsuccessful job candidates—to analyze their preparation strategies, self-reflection, and communication techniques. Thematic analysis revealed that successful candidates exhibited a higher level of self-awareness, enabling them to confidently articulate their skills, address weaknesses constructively, and adapt to interview dynamics. Conversely, unsuccessful candidates displayed lower self-awareness, leading to difficulties in self-expression, ineffective communication, and a lack of structured responses. The findings underscore the necessity of incorporating self-awareness training in job preparation programs to improve employability outcomes. This study contributes to the growing discourse on emotional intelligence and career readiness by emphasizing self-awareness as a pivotal factor in professional success. Future research should examine the effectiveness of self-awareness interventions across various career sectors to determine their broader applicability.

Abstract

This narrative review explores the role of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in enhancing inventory management across industries. Drawing from empirical studies, theoretical reviews, and case applications over the past 15 years, it highlights how ERP systems improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply chain responsiveness. Key benefits include real-time data access, reduced manual errors, automation, and integration, with technologies like IoT and machine learning further supporting decision-making and coordination. Despite these advantages, challenges such as high costs, resistance to change, data quality issues, and skill gaps hinder implementation. The review emphasizes the need for integrated planning, user training, and strong data governance, and calls for more interdisciplinary research to address behavioral and contextual influences on ERP success. ERP is ultimately seen as a vital tool for navigating modern supply chain complexities.

Abstract

This study looks into the connections between innovation, entrepreneurship, work happiness, and organizational culture in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) located in Bogor City. This study looks at the link between these factors utilizing a quantitative method in which SPSS is used. The results validate the hypotheses (H1 and H2) by demonstrating the strong influence of corporate culture on entrepreneurship and innovativeness. Furthermore, entrepreneurship and innovativeness are significantly positively impacted by job satisfaction, supporting hypotheses (H3 and H4). Moreover, H5 was supported by the finding that entrepreneurship was a major predictor of innovativeness. These results highlight the critical roles that job happiness and company culture play in encouraging entrepreneurial endeavors, which in turn boost SMEs' capacity for innovation. The study's conclusions offer useful advice to Bogor City's small business owners and managers, offering methods for enhancing worker happiness, creating a supportive workplace culture, and eventually encouraging innovation in SMEs.
