Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor keluarga sebagai salah satu faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar materi biologi pada siswa SMA Negeri 4 Parepare. Jenis penelitian yakni penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan 128 sampel yang ditentukan melalui metode sensus. Instrumen penelitian yakni angket. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menghitung persentase tiap indikatornya kemudian mengkategorikannya. Faktor keluarga yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar peserta didik terdiri dari lima indikator yaitu cara mendidik anak, hubungan orang tua dan anak, suasana rumah tangga, keadaan ekonomi, dan perhatian orang tua. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, factor keluarga yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar tergolong pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 62,17%. Rata-rata persentase tertinggi terdapat pada indikator faktor keluarga yaitu hubungan orang tua dan anak dengan rata-rata persentase tergolong pada kategori tinggi yaitu 64,37% sedangkan rata-rata persentase indikator terendah yaitu suasana rumah tangga dengan rata-rata persentase tergolong pada kategori sedang yaitu 58,78%.

Abstract

Flipped Classroom is a learning innovation that is in line with developments in time and technology. This research aims to see the effect of the flipped classroom learning model on students' biology learning outcomes, especially the concept of mutation. This research is an experimental research with the Quasy Experiment Design type of research which aims to determine the effect of the flipped classroom learning model on student learning outcomes in the mutation chapter at SMAN 9 Makassar. The independent variable of this research is the application of the flipped classroom learning model and the conventional learning model, while the dependent variable is the students' learning outcomes on mutation chapter. The population of this research is all students in class The research data was obtained by giving a test of learning outcomes on mutation material in the form of a pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique was carried out using covariate analysis (Anakova). Based on the analysis results, P = <0.001 is smaller than α = 0.05. It can be concluded that the application of the flipped classroom learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class XII MIA SMAN 9 Makassar students on mutation chapter. Kata Kunci: flipped classroom, hasil belajar, konvensional, model pembelajaran, mutasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the STAD type cooperative learning model, in conjunction with animated video content, affected the biology learning interest of SMAN 4 Maros students on plant tissue subject. This study used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The pretest-postest control group design was used for the research. The study of this research is XI MIPA 5 as the experimental group and XI MIPA 7 as the control group. A learning interest questionnaire consisting of 20 statements is the research instrument. Statistical inferential and descriptive analysis is the method of data analysis employed. The result of descriptive analysis shows that the final average interest learning score in the experimental group is 84,37 and it is higher than the control group which was 78,97. The result of inferential analysis with the anacova test shows that there was an influence of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model with the help of animated video media on Biology Learning Interest of Students at SMAN 4 Maros On Plant Tissue Subject.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning is one of the options of the instructional one that can be implemented in the K13 Curriculum (Kurikulum 2013) or the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning on the learning outcomes of Class X students in biology subject. The type of research was a quantitative study with a posttest only control group design. The research population was all students of  three classes X IPA at SMA Negeri 7 Sa'dan Toraja Utara in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Through the random sampling technique, two classes were obtained that would serve as control and experimental classes, namely class X IPA 2 and X IPA 1 with a total of 54 students. Data collection was carried out through a learning achievement test instrument in the form of multiple choice of 30 numbers. The learning outcomes data were then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that the average learning outcomes for the experimental class were in the average category while the control class was in the poor category. T test was used to confirm the hypothesis. The result shows the sig. (2 tailed) of 0.009 which means less than 0.05. Based on the results it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning is able to have a positive influence on the learning outcomes of class X students in biology subject.

Abstract

The education quality index of a region is inseparable from the quality of human resources occupying that region. Quality human resources are obtained from quality education and quality education will be achieved when the learning process is carried out effectively and efficiently. Learning is said to be effective and efficient when it provides learning outcomes above the specified standards. This requires a creative learning model. Research with the title effectiveness of creative learning models on biology learning outcomes for high school students in Sulawesi, is based on the aim of knowing how much influence the application of creative learning models has on biology subjects at the senior high school level on the island of Sulawesi. The research was carried out by applying the method of meta-analysis using 7 articles from Indonesian journals as research subjects. Based on the research, it was found that the creative learning model was effective or had a positive influence when applied at the XI high school level. If, in terms of the type of creative learning model used, the PBL type has the greatest influence on student learning outcomes and when viewed from the subject matter of the subject matter, creative learning model is most effectively applied to digestive system material

Abstract

Education in the 21st century requires students to have collaborative skills. Academic resilience is essential for facing various challenges in education. However, several studies have shown that students' collaborative skills and academic resilience are still low. This study aims to determine the effect of the ICT-assisted ReCODE instructional model on students' collaborative skills and academic resilience. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a posttest-only non-equivalent Control Group design. The population in this study consisted of all students in class VIII at SMPN 18 Makassar. The sample in this study was selected using a purposive sampling technique consisting of an experimental class and a control class. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including an independent t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the inferential statistical analysis of collaborative skills obtained tcount = 1.75 > ttable = 1.67, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The inferential statistical analysis of academic resilience yielded tcount = 2.04 > ttable = 1.67, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the ICT-assisted ReCODE instructional model affects the collaborative skills and academic resilience of class VIII students at SMPN 18 Makassar in the primary material on the human digestive system. The implications of this study suggest the need for further research on the broader application of the ICT-assisted ReCODE learning model to enhance students' collaborative skills and academic resilience.

Abstract

Pembelajaran inovatif di abad 21 merujuk pada framework for 21st century learning yang memerlukan pemahaman mengenai pemanfaatan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunisi dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Pembelajaran Abad 21 merupakan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan kemampuan literasi, kecakapan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap, serta penguasaan terhadap teknologi. Pembelajaran yang dirancang harus mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan peserta didik sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang telah dicanangkan sejalan dengan perkembangan abad 21, sehingga seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya guru harus mampu merancang pembelajaran inovatif dengan student centered (berpusat pada siswa).  Pelatihan ini diselenggaran di SMP Negeri 2 Galesong Utara yang diikuti oleh guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dengan metode cerama, tanya jawab, pelatihan dan pendampingan merancang pembelajaran inovatif. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, para peserta mendapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pembelajaran inovatif serta memberikan respon yang sangat baik terhadap pelakasanaan keiatan yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

In recent years, many government initiatives in the field of education have been directed at developing curriculum and learning systems that emphasize students' scientific literacy skills. This community partnership program (PKM) aims to improve biology teachers' understanding of scientific literacy competencies and how to design science literacy-oriented learning. We selected a group of ten high school biology teachers (five groups) as the target subjects of the PKM program. PKM activities are designed for six months (May to November 2022), with a variety of topics and activities, including individual and group assignments, discussions, and presentations, both online (Zoom) and face-to-face. During PKM activities, biology teachers have the opportunity to explore the conceptual framework of several models or learning approaches that are science literacy-oriented. Groups of biology teachers also practice designing learning stages for each of the models or approaches that have been chosen. The learning models or approaches chosen by teachers during PKM activities vary, including project-based learning, STEM education, science process skills approaches, differentiated learning, and social-scientific issues-oriented learning. The resulting learning design shows that the PKM program helps teachers improve their knowledge of science literacy-oriented biology learning.

Abstract

Not only issuing alumni who have qualified knowledge, producing young entrepreneurs is also one of the roles of a university. One of the programs held to support this achievement is the implementation of the Campus Intellectual Product Business Development Program or PPUPIK. Through PPUPIK, student creativity will also develop optimally. One of the PPUPIK activities that was developed in the Biological Experimental Garden Laboratory (LKPB) FMIPA UNM in 2019 was hydroponic development training for students. The hydroponic system is a cultivation system using water that contains nutrients and minerals without soil. Hydroponics training was held for one semester at the Biology Experimental Garden, FMIPA UNM, attended by 20 students. The types of hydroponics that were trained included (1) simple hydroponics from Styrofoam, (2) Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), (3) EBB and Flow Technique (EFT), and (4) Deep Flow Technique (DFT). The training was carried out using a number of methods, namely interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), demonstrations, and work practices. From this hydroponic training, 11 types of hydroponic installations were produced that can be developed by students to later be used in entrepreneurship activities in related fields.

Abstract

Kerusakan kawasan hutan mangrove dapat terjadi karena alam maupun manusia akibat dari pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan secara tidak bertanggungjawab. Kerusakan hutan mangrove akan berdampak pada kehilangan berbagai keanekaragaman hayati flora maupun fauna di wilayah pesisir. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan sebagai upaya pelestarian ekosistem hutan mangrove di lingkungan PPLH Puntondo. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat pesisir terkait pengelolaan dan konservasi hutan mangrove. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dengan kegiatan, yaitu penyuluhan pelestarian hutan mangrove kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penanaman bibit mangrove. Metode penyuluhan yaitu dengan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab dan selanjutanya pelibatan masyarakat dalam menaman mangrove. Selama kegiatan berlangsung para peserta sangat antusias dan berharap kegiatan serupa akan dilaksankan kembali. Kegiatan ini diharapkan memberikan dampak yang bermakna dalam keikutsertaan dalam mengupayakan pelestarian Ekosistem Hutan Mangrove di sekitar PPLH Puntondo.
