Abstract

A way that each individual carries out receiving lessons and information from the environment is a form of learning style. This study intends to examine how early childhood learning. This study used a descriptive research method; the research subject was Dharma Wanita Jimbe 1 Kindergarten, Blitar Regency, with 13 students in 2022/2023. Data collection was carried out using observation and interviews. The results of this study illustrate that children have characteristics in understandingand learning something different from adults. Playing while learning is an activity carried outby an early childhood with feelings of pleasure, without coercion, but has patterns that are expected to create good growth and development for children. Playing while learning in early childhood has goals that adults may not realize, whereas when a childplays, he is actually developing the potential in him. Developing children's skills from an early age helps build children's rational thinking processes; children are also better prepared to face life's problems in the future. This research is expected tobe a reference and knowledge for parents and teachers, especially to understand the world of early childhood, one of which is by understanding the nature of learning and the meaning of learning styles for early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze teachers' experiences in practicing loose parts media innovation in early childhood learning and its implications for children’s growth and development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The research subjects were four teacher of Al Muhajirin Kindergarten in Malang City. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed by collecting, reducing, analysis, and verification. The results showed that the loose parts media innovation implemented by Al Muhajirin Kindergarten teachers includes the selection of loose parts materials, movement, learning materials, and songs or rhythms. The use of loose parts media in learning has an impact on children's development, including fine motor development as seen from coordination and the ability to make simple movements. Children's cognitive development increases through the ability to read and recognize letters and numbers. In terms of fine arts, children are able to coordinate movements with rhythm or songs and be creative with loose parts materials. In addition, children's language development can be seen from the increase in vocabulary and reading ability after seeing the shapes or writings that have been arranged.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman tata cara berwudu pada anak usia dini melalui pemanfaatan media PowerPoint interaktif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek anak usia dini di taman kanak-kanak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Media PowerPoint interaktif dirancang dengan memadukan unsur visual, audio, animasi, serta aktivitas sederhana yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa visualisasi memiliki peran penting dalam pembelajaran fikih, khususnya materi wudu, karena membantu anak memahami konsep dan urutan berwudu secara lebih konkret. Media PowerPoint interaktif yang efektif ditandai dengan tampilan visual yang menarik, alur materi bertahap, serta adanya interaksi sederhana yang meningkatkan fokus dan partisipasi anak. Implementasi media ini dalam proses pembelajaran mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman anak terhadap konsep dan urutan wudu, yang terlihat dari kemampuan anak menyebutkan dan mempraktikkan langkah-langkah wudu dengan lebih tertib dan tepat. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan pada cakupan subjek yang masih terbatas pada satu lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini serta pendekatan penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, sehingga hasil penelitian belum dapat digeneralisasikan secara luas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian selanjutnya direkomendasikan untuk melibatkan subjek yang lebih beragam serta menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif atau eksperimen agar diperoleh gambaran yang lebih komprehensif mengenai efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Kemampuan sosial merupakan aspek penting yang perlu dilatih sejak usia dini karena setiap anak adalah makhluk sosial yang membutuhkan orang lain, sehingga pengembangannya memerlukan pendekatan dan strategi yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak; penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan di TK Tunas Bangsa Ngino Semanding ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap strategi serta kendala dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan sosial anak melalui teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan metode keteladanan, pembiasaan, serta motivasi berkelanjutan dalam aktivitas menyenangkan untuk menanamkan nilai tanggung jawab, disiplin, kerja sama, dan saling menghargai, sementara kendala yang dihadapi meliputi rendahnya kemampuan bersosialisasi, kurangnya kerjasama, serta menurunnya empati dan kemurahan hati pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of the Inquiry Based Learning method in science learning for 5–6-year-old children and to examine the development of their scientific abilities. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Inquiry Based Learning method was applied in five main stages: questioning, observing, experimenting, analyzing, and concluding. Teachers designed lesson plans adapted to children's developmental characteristics and provided exploration space to encourage active participation. Evaluation was carried out authentically through process assessment. Children showed improvement in their ability to ask questions, experiment, and draw conclusions. These findings confirm that Inquiry Based Learning is effective in supporting early childhood science learning.

Abstract

In this era of sophisticated technology, there is indeed a demand for any educational institution to present learning that is easy to understand and quickly absorbed by students. Likewise, Islamic boarding schools are also required to use technological facilities such as laptops and projectors to provide learning to students in their environment. Without following the development of existing technology, the learning that is carried out will be far behind. This article discusses the instillation of multicultural Islamic education at the Miftahul Huda Sekardangan Blitar Islamic Boarding School. The methods used in this community service include: the lecture method, question and answer method, simulation method, and assignment method. This community service activity aims to strengthen multicultural Islamic education for students (students) through classical books that have been taught to them every day traditionally. Strengthening multicultural Islamic education through modern technology learning such as laptops, power points, and projectors is very important so that books that are taught traditionally for months or even years can be easily absorbed through these media in a short time.

Abstract

Songs can be used as a learning medium for multicultural Islamic education for early childhood. Learning using songs aligns with the principles of learning through play, playing while learning, and learning while singing while learning, which are certainly very enjoyable for young children. This paper examines community service in the form of technical guidance on songs as a learning medium for multicultural Islamic education for early childhood. Two methods were used in this service: lecture and question-and-answer. The technical guidance on songs as a learning medium proceeded smoothly without any obstacles. This service demonstrates the continuity of the material presented with the introduction to religion in Indonesia for early childhood. Furthermore, it is hoped that this type of community service activity will be conducted more frequently to increase knowledge that can be used in teaching early childhood.

Abstract

(1) Background: Children’s school readiness is a key factor influencing their academic and social success. The transition from Early Childhood Education (ECE) to primary school often presents challenges that may lead to anxiety and adjustment difficulties if not properly supported by parents and ECE institutions. (2) Purpose: This study aimed to strengthen the involvement of parents and ECE units in preparing children for a positive and low-stress transition to primary education. (3) Methods: The activity was conducted on September 06, 2025, using interactive dialogue, lectures, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. (4) Results: The socialization activity enhanced parents’ and educators’ understanding of the importance of selecting quality ECE institutions and supporting children’s readiness for future learning. (5) Conclusions: Awareness-building efforts for parents of PAUD Widya Kharisam and ECE educators contribute to improving children’s social, emotional, and academic competencies required for successful adaptation to primary school.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Kader PAUD dalam Pemahaman Gizi Anak untuk Pencegahan Stunting di Kelurahan Ganungkidul, Nganjuk, diikuti oleh 19 kader dari kelurahan tersebut dan dilaksanakan pada 24 Agustus 2024. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kader posyandu di Kelurahan Ganungkidul, Kecamatan Nganjuk, dalam mendampingi pemberian gizi seimbang serta melakukan pengukuran tumbuh kembang anak, sehingga diharapkan mampu mengurangi angka stunting. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pendekatan edukatif dengan fokus pada aplikasi praktis. Setelah kegiatan ini, diharapkan Posyandu dapat semakin berperan sebagai salah satu upaya kesehatan masyarakat yang didirikan oleh pemerintah, dengan tujuan agar masyarakat dapat mengelola, memanfaatkan, dan mengembangkan Posyandu untuk meningkatkan kesehatan ibu dan anak, terutama dalam pencegahan dan penurunan angka stunting. Posyandu diharapkan dapat melakukan deteksi dini stunting melalui pemantauan berat dan tinggi badan anak sesuai umur. Selain itu, dibutuhkan platform teknologi informasi Posyandu yang dapat diakses masyarakat untuk mempermudah penyampaian informasi, konseling, dan edukasi terkait gizi, serta kesehatan ibu dan anak.
