Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of the Snake Ladder Math Game on fraction material in class IV. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the aim of determining the feasibility of a product that has been made. The steps used in this research are Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation. This research has only reached the product development and validation stage with expert validators and has not yet reached the testing stage. This research uses quantitative data to see the feasibility of the product from expert assessments and also uses qualitative data from suggestions, input, criticism from validators through the questionnaire provided. The data collection technique uses a media and material expert validator assessment questionnaire to determine the feasibility of the Snake Ladder Math Game development product. The results of this research show that the validation percentage results from validator material expert 1 was 84.09% and material expert 2 was 81.81%. The percentage results for media expert 1 were 80.76% and media expert 2 was 88.46%. The average assessment of material experts is 82.95% and the average assessment of media experts is 84.61%, indicating that this category is Very Good. This shows that the Snake Ladder Math Game is suitable for use in learning fraction material in class IV. Keywords: Learning Media, Development, Fractions at

Abstract

The low mathematical comprehension and poor self-regulated learning of pre-service elementary school teachers are behind this research. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the RADEC model on increasing the conceptual understanding of prospective elementary school teachers on fractions and determine whether there is a correlation between the students' self-regulated learning in answering pre-learning questions and their mathematical comprehension. Quantitative research methods were carried out in this study, with the design of the one-group pretest-postest. The research was conducted at one of the universities in West Java, with research subjects of 88 students from an elementary school teacher education program. Tests and questionnaires are the primary research instruments in this study. The results showed an increase in students' mathematical comprehension after implementing the RADEC model, and there was a low correlation (r = 0.309) between self-regulated learning and mathematics conceptual understanding of fractions among the students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving skills by applying wordwall-assisted problem-based learning to mathematics learning of diagrams, figures, and bars in grade III elementary school students. The approach taken in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection technique uses a question test. Quantitative data analysis techniques with hypothesis tests. The results of this study are that there is an increase in students' mathematical problem-solving skills between pretest and posttest in the experimental class. There was a difference in the average result of the pretest of 21.41 and the average result of the posttest of 53.94. Then, an average difference test was carried out using the wilcoxon test with the acquisition of Asymp.Sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 hypotheses were accepted. There was a difference in the improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving skills between the results of pretet and posttest in the experimental class. The calculation of the N-gain test in the experimental class was 0.43 with medium interpretation and the control class was 0.08 with low interpretation. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of problem-based learning assisted by wordwalls can improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills

Abstract

Mathematics learning in unit length conversion is still a problem that must be solved at SDN Ganeas I and II. The students still can't understand the concept of unit length conversion correctly. Therefore, in the learning activities, need a new innovations learning models. This research purpose to determine AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model on the concept of length unit conversion for students grade IV of elementary school.The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group research design. Data collection with observation and tests.The tests used are pretest and posttest, the sample was grade IV students SDN Ganeas II as the experimental class and grade IV students of SDN Ganeas I as the control class.Data processing techniques using normality tests, homogenenity, t-tests, Mann withney tests, normalized gain tests, with the help of SPSS 26.The results of the study, with using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a p-value of 0.000<0.005,then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it is concluded that there is an improvement in students' abilities with the AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how the transformational leadership model in improving the quality of academic services implemented in elementary schools. This study was conducted using survey methods and interviews with 50 elementary school teachers in Sumedang, West Java Province, Indonesia. This study aims to find out how implementing transformational leadership in elementary schools improves academic services across different dimensions, aiming to identify the average improvement. The findings indicated that the overall dimensions of the transformational leadership model were rated as good. These dimensions include idealized influence (charismatic), intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, and inspirational motivation. While not achieving a perfect score, it is anticipated that the average scores across these four dimensions of the transformational leadership model will significantly contribute to improving the quality of academic services in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan, menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan aplikasi Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar pecahan siswa kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh SDN yang ada di kecamatan cikole kota Sukabumi, kemudian dipilih SDN Dewi Sartika CBM karena mewakili sekolah dengan kategori Ramah Anak dengan siswa kelas IV sebagai subjek penelitian. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 60 orang yaitu, 30 Orang siswa dari kelas 4B sebagai kelas kontrol, dan 30 Orang siswa dari kelas 4A sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrument penelitian ini terdiri dari modul ajar, kisi-kisi soal tes, soal pre-test dan post-test, kunci jawaban, pedoman penilaian, dan angket peserta didik. Pengukuran data diolah menggunakan IBM SPSS. Berdasarkan analisis pengukuran GAIN, diperoleh nilai pengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran penerapan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan aplikasi wordwall sebesar 0,6. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan aplikasi Wordwall memberikan pengaruh positif berupa peningkatan sebesar 0,6 yang termasuk kedalam peningkatan usaha yang sedang terhadap hasil belajar pecahan siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang menerapkan model pembelajaran monoton dapat menimbulkan rasa bosan dan jenuh bagi siswa. Jika model pembelajaran yang dipilih tidak dapat menarik minat siswa untuk belajar, maka hasil belajar berupa pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa juga rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa dengan penerapan strategi snowball throwing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi exsperiment dengan jumlah sampel 60 orang yang terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Metode analisis data dengan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi snowball throwing mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata pretest dan posttest. Hasil pretest memiliki rata-rata 38,5 dan meningkat pada posttest menjadi 80,3. Kemudian hal serupa juga terjadi dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Peningkatan ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata angket awal siswa dengan skor 21,13 meningkat pada angket motivasi akhir menjadi 23,6. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi snowball throwing mampu meningkatkan pemahaman, motivasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada pentingnya meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam mempelajari matematika bagi siswa SD untuk mendukung kemampuan matematis selanjutnya. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SD maka penelitian ini membahas tentang model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan media video pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan media video pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah SD Negeri di Kecamatan Sumedang Utara dengan total jumlah keseluruhannya yaitu 34 sekolah dan di Kecamatan Cimalaka dengan jumlah keseluruhannya yaitu 29 sekolah. Kelas IV di SDN Karangpawulang sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas IV di SDN Sukamaju sebagai kelas eksperimen. Jumlah subjek penelitian diambil 30 responden untuk kelas eksperimen dan 23 responden untuk kelas kontrol.  Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal pretes-postes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, dengan teknik analisis uji normalitas, uji homogen dan uji beda rata-rata hasil nilai pretes dan postes serta nilai n-gain dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil perlakuan terhadap siswa selama tiga pertemuan menunjukkan bahwa: Efektifitasnya pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan media video pembelajaran belum dapat dikatakan lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang efektif akan mendukung proses belajar siswa untuk memahami materi ajar.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of developing microlearning-based teaching materials on enhancing the pedagogical competencies, literacy, and numeracy comprehension of Guru Penggerak in Kota Cimahi. Through a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test one-group design approach involving pre-tests, post-tests, and the creation of various microlearning formats such as videos, text/images, flashcards, games, and audio podcasts, the study evaluates the effectiveness of these materials in improving instructional practices. The research sample included 50 Guru Penggerak elementary school members from the Komunitas Guru Penggerak Kota Cimahi (KGPKC). The findings reveal significant improvements in pedagogical competencies, particularly in adapting educational materials and providing scaffolding, with an overall increase in average scores from 76.8% to 88%. Literacy and numeracy comprehension also showed positive gains, with literacy increasing from 49.8% to 55.6% and numeracy from 57% to 65%. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test further confirmed the statistical significance of these improvements. The development of microlearning-based teaching materials resulted in various formats, with participants favoring text/image and game formats for their engagement and efficiency. Despite some limitations, video, flashcards, and audio podcasts improve student understanding and material delivery. The study emphasizes the potential of microlearning to solve educational difficulties and encourages the continuing development and improvement of these teaching materials to further support educators.
