Abstract

Mathematics learning in unit length conversion is still a problem that must be solved at SDN Ganeas I and II. The students still can't understand the concept of unit length conversion correctly. Therefore, in the learning activities, need a new innovations learning models. This research purpose to determine AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model on the concept of length unit conversion for students grade IV of elementary school.The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group research design. Data collection with observation and tests.The tests used are pretest and posttest, the sample was grade IV students SDN Ganeas II as the experimental class and grade IV students of SDN Ganeas I as the control class.Data processing techniques using normality tests, homogenenity, t-tests, Mann withney tests, normalized gain tests, with the help of SPSS 26.The results of the study, with using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a p-value of 0.000<0.005,then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it is concluded that there is an improvement in students' abilities with the AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how the transformational leadership model in improving the quality of academic services implemented in elementary schools. This study was conducted using survey methods and interviews with 50 elementary school teachers in Sumedang, West Java Province, Indonesia. This study aims to find out how implementing transformational leadership in elementary schools improves academic services across different dimensions, aiming to identify the average improvement. The findings indicated that the overall dimensions of the transformational leadership model were rated as good. These dimensions include idealized influence (charismatic), intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, and inspirational motivation. While not achieving a perfect score, it is anticipated that the average scores across these four dimensions of the transformational leadership model will significantly contribute to improving the quality of academic services in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan, menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan aplikasi Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar pecahan siswa kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh SDN yang ada di kecamatan cikole kota Sukabumi, kemudian dipilih SDN Dewi Sartika CBM karena mewakili sekolah dengan kategori Ramah Anak dengan siswa kelas IV sebagai subjek penelitian. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 60 orang yaitu, 30 Orang siswa dari kelas 4B sebagai kelas kontrol, dan 30 Orang siswa dari kelas 4A sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrument penelitian ini terdiri dari modul ajar, kisi-kisi soal tes, soal pre-test dan post-test, kunci jawaban, pedoman penilaian, dan angket peserta didik. Pengukuran data diolah menggunakan IBM SPSS. Berdasarkan analisis pengukuran GAIN, diperoleh nilai pengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran penerapan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan aplikasi wordwall sebesar 0,6. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan aplikasi Wordwall memberikan pengaruh positif berupa peningkatan sebesar 0,6 yang termasuk kedalam peningkatan usaha yang sedang terhadap hasil belajar pecahan siswa kelas IV.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada pentingnya meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam mempelajari matematika bagi siswa SD untuk mendukung kemampuan matematis selanjutnya. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SD maka penelitian ini membahas tentang model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan media video pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan media video pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah SD Negeri di Kecamatan Sumedang Utara dengan total jumlah keseluruhannya yaitu 34 sekolah dan di Kecamatan Cimalaka dengan jumlah keseluruhannya yaitu 29 sekolah. Kelas IV di SDN Karangpawulang sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas IV di SDN Sukamaju sebagai kelas eksperimen. Jumlah subjek penelitian diambil 30 responden untuk kelas eksperimen dan 23 responden untuk kelas kontrol.  Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal pretes-postes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, dengan teknik analisis uji normalitas, uji homogen dan uji beda rata-rata hasil nilai pretes dan postes serta nilai n-gain dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil perlakuan terhadap siswa selama tiga pertemuan menunjukkan bahwa: Efektifitasnya pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom dengan media video pembelajaran belum dapat dikatakan lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang efektif akan mendukung proses belajar siswa untuk memahami materi ajar.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of developing microlearning-based teaching materials on enhancing the pedagogical competencies, literacy, and numeracy comprehension of Guru Penggerak in Kota Cimahi. Through a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test one-group design approach involving pre-tests, post-tests, and the creation of various microlearning formats such as videos, text/images, flashcards, games, and audio podcasts, the study evaluates the effectiveness of these materials in improving instructional practices. The research sample included 50 Guru Penggerak elementary school members from the Komunitas Guru Penggerak Kota Cimahi (KGPKC). The findings reveal significant improvements in pedagogical competencies, particularly in adapting educational materials and providing scaffolding, with an overall increase in average scores from 76.8% to 88%. Literacy and numeracy comprehension also showed positive gains, with literacy increasing from 49.8% to 55.6% and numeracy from 57% to 65%. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test further confirmed the statistical significance of these improvements. The development of microlearning-based teaching materials resulted in various formats, with participants favoring text/image and game formats for their engagement and efficiency. Despite some limitations, video, flashcards, and audio podcasts improve student understanding and material delivery. The study emphasizes the potential of microlearning to solve educational difficulties and encourages the continuing development and improvement of these teaching materials to further support educators.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving skills by applying wordwall-assisted problem-based learning to mathematics learning of diagrams, figures, and bars in grade III elementary school students. The approach taken in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection technique uses a question test. Quantitative data analysis techniques with hypothesis tests. The results of this study are that there is an increase in students' mathematical problem-solving skills between pretest and posttest in the experimental class. There was a difference in the average result of the pretest of 21.41 and the average result of the posttest of 53.94. Then, an average difference test was carried out using the wilcoxon test with the acquisition of Asymp.Sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 hypotheses were accepted. There was a difference in the improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving skills between the results of pretet and posttest in the experimental class. The calculation of the N-gain test in the experimental class was 0.43 with medium interpretation and the control class was 0.08 with low interpretation. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of problem-based learning assisted by wordwalls can improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills

Abstract

Mathematics is an important subject to apply. Therefore, mathematics is taught at every level of education. Mathematics is widely used in everyday life. Many people assume that mathematics is a troublesome illustration, this assumption has been passed down from time to time, so that the mentality towards mathematics is always considered troublesome. This is also experienced by fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Tugu and SD Negeri Pakuran who have difficulty learning mathematics on plane geometry material. Based on the results of initial observations on fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Tugu and SD Negeri Pakuran, students have difficulty in plane geometry material which includes properties, composition, decomposition of plane geometry. Understanding the concept and remembering the properties of plane geometry is often a challenge for students. Therefore, the SAPAMAT program is used in this study to help fourth grade students understand plane geometry material better. The SAPAMAT program stands for the Mathematics Breakfast Program or can be called morning lessons. This study uses the Quasi Experiment method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design model. This study uses 2 groups, namely the experimental class group and the control class group. Pretest and posttestare the methods used to collect data. Normality test, homogeneity test, average difference test, and n-gain test are the data analysis methods used. The results of the statistical analysis of the average gain value of the experimental class are 0.78 while the control class is 0.31. This is reinforced by the average gain difference test, namely the sig p-value of 0.000. P-value 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is a difference in the increase in the abilities of students in the experimental class and the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the SAPAMAT program has an effect on increasing the understanding of grade IV students in the material of flat shapes

Abstract

This investigation was prompted by pupils' inability to comprehend the diameter of two-dimensional figures. Students often experience boredom in studying due to the teacher's exclusive reliance on lecture methods, which adversely impacts their comprehension of the circumference of planar shapes. This research aims to create an Android-based application named AREA to enhance fifth-grade students' comprehension of flat figures at SD Negeri Setiajaya 01 and to evaluate its practicality. The employed research methodology is Research and Development (R&D) utilizing the ADDIE model for the development phase. The research instruments employed included validation sheets for material experts, media experts, pretest-posttest questionnaires, and response surveys for teachers and students. Data analysis methodologies for expert and educator validation are assessed via a Likert scale; thereafter, pretest and posttest evaluations employ N-Gain formula analysis, while media appropriateness is gauged by questionnaires directed at instructors and students. The research findings indicate that the Android-based AREA media is highly valid for usage, as evidenced by validation results from material and media specialists, which yielded an average percentage of 98% in the highly viable category. The media's suitability can be assessed through the teacher questionnaire results, which yielded a score of 92%, and the student response questionnaire, which indicated a score of 99%. According to these findings, AREA media can be classified as highly appropriate for educational purposes. Apart from that, the N-gain persent or N-gain percentage results were also abtained at 66,93% so that based on these result it can be said that AREA media is “effective enough” to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract:  Elementary school mathematics is a subject used to teach mathematical concepts that form the basis of students' basic understanding before they move on to deeper understanding. Students often become passive due to implementing teacher-centred learning models and the lack of media that encourages student engagement, resulting in a low understanding of their concepts. The TGT learning model and EBS-PBM Apps application media are some of the alternatives to the student-centered learning model. This study aims to determine students' understanding of mathematical concepts influenced by the TGT learning model with the help of the EBS-PBM Apps application. A quasi-experiment with a non-experimental control group design was the research methodology used. Descriptive and inferential statistical tests were used in data analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 26. This means that the TGT learning model assisted by EBS-PBM Apps effectively improves students' understanding of mathematical concepts. It can be a better alternative learning model than the conventional one without using the non-application.Keywords: EBS-PBM apps; games; TGT model; understanding mathematical concepts Abstrak: Matematika sekolah dasar adalah pelajaran yang digunakan untuk mengajarkan konsep matematika yang menjadi dasar pemahaman dasar siswa sebelum mereka melanjutkan ke pemahaman yang lebih dalam. Siswa sering kali menjadi pasif karena penerapan model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya media yang mendorong keterlibatan siswa yang berakibat pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep mereka. Model pembelajaran TGT dan media aplikasi EBS-PBM Apps merupakan salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh model pembelajaran TGT dengan bantuan aplikasi EBS-PBM Apps. Eksperimen semu dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-eksperimental adalah metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Uji statistik deskriptif dan satistik inferensial digunakan dalam analisis data dengan IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Pemahaman konsep matematis siswa  meningkat sebesar 0,73, termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, menurut analisis data dan perhitungan N-Gain. Artinya, model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan EBS-PBM Apps efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, sehingga dapat menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional dan tanpa menggunakan aplikasi tersebut.Kata kunci: aplikasi EBS-PBM Apps; model TGT; pemahaman konsep matematis; permainan

Abstract

The learning process is identical to the use of learning media in the process of delivering learning material. The aim of this research is to find out how the development, effectiveness, and user response to pinkal learning media. Pinkal learning media is needed by teachers in the multiplication learning process, especially in solving multiplication story problems. The method used in this research is the R&D method. This development research uses the ADDIE research design proposed by Robert Maribe Branch. The subjects of this research were class IV students at SDN Pondok Bambu 06, East Jakarta. Data collection techniques use interviews, expert reviews, student response questionnaires, pretest-posttest, and documentation. Data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods. The validation results from the two material experts obtained a total percentage of 100% with very feasible interpretation criteria. The validation results from the two media experts got a total percentage of 93% with very feasible interpretation criteria and the validation results from the two linguists got a total percentage of 99% with very feasible interpretation criteria. The results of the expert review show that pinkal learning media is very worthy of development. The effectiveness of the pretest and posttest results shows that learning with pinkal learning media has a significant effect on student learning outcomes. Student responses obtained a total percentage of 100% with very appropriate interpretation criteria. Based on the results of expert reviews, effectiveness and student responses, it can be concluded that pinkal learning media is effective for development.
