Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Quizizzebased teaching materials on the writing skills of observation report texts of grade VII YPI Annur Prima students. This type of research applies a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment research method. The population was 40 students and the sample size was report text. Data analysis techniques in this study used quantitative analysis in the form of descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was an influence on the writing results of the experimental group using Quizizz-based teaching materials with the control group that only used conventional learning.20 students, namely class VII C as the experimental class and 20 students from class VII B as the control class. The instrument used to collect data on student learning outcomes is a test of writing observation.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbahasa sangat penting bagi setiap individu karena berfungsi sebagai kerangka untuk mengembangkan kemampuan intelektual, sosial, dan karakter pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media gambar serial terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran yang didukung media gambar serial. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 23 siswa kelas II MIS Mardliatul Islamiyah kota Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest and posttest. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menulis siswa meningkat dengan penggunaan media gambar serial. media gambar berseri meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa dengan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif di era digital saat ini, dimana media memegang peranan yang tidak terpisahkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the Talking Stick Training form in training the speaking skills of teaching children. This investigation was tried at MIN 04 Labuhanbatu Utara Regency, the subjects of this observation are 4th grade elementary school students, plus 2 classes, special class A and class B, each class contains 18 students, class A runs as Analytical without stopping class B being the Control class. This review is shown with a quantitative research form of trial type. Accumulating data in this statement using Perception and Test sheets. The side effects of this study must be seen from the example t- Test table which reports that the need figure is 0, 000 on the basis of 0, 05. Ho is rejected as well as Ha is recognized, as well as that actually means there is a great effect of the Talking Stick learning form in training students' speaking skills. Therefore, it is recommended for teachers and prospective teachers to use learning forms that are suitable for the learning objectives, one of which is the Talking Stick learning model which can affect students' speaking skills.

Abstract

Abstract Reading has a very important role in education, especially for students to obtain information, broaden their horizons, and sharpen their views. This study aimed to see the effect of using scramble media on students' reading skills in the high class of SD 067251. The research type used was quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of students in class IVA as the control group and students in class IVB as the experimental group, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used were oral tests (reading) and written tests (multiple choice) of 20 questions. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential analyses using the Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that using scramble media had an effect on students' reading ability. This can be seen from the average score of students taught using scramble media, which is higher than the conventional media (books and blackboards). Scramble media can be considered as an alternative medium to help overcome students' reading disabilities, especially in high grades.

Abstract

In the teaching process, educators are expected to take an active role in adapting and delivering diverse teaching strategies. However, a careful examination of the SMP Islam Setia Nurul Azmi classroom reveals persistent challenges in the implementation of effective instructional methods, primarily attributable to the paucity of instructional media available to the teachers. This shortage has a deleterious effect on student motivation. The objective of this study is to develop comic-based educational media focused on fable texts for seventh-grade students, with the aim of enhancing their writing skills. The research methodology employed a Research and Development (RD) approach based on the 4-D model by Thiagarajan, comprising the following stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data were collected through expert validations and response questionnaires. The media was rated as highly feasible by media experts (90%), content experts (100%), and linguists (86%). A study of usability assessments revealed high practicality scores from teachers (91%) and students (81%). The effectiveness of the assessments was confirmed by an 83% student mastery rate, which is classified as "very effective." Consequently, the comic-based learning media developed through the 4-D model is regarded as highly suitable for utilization as a supportive instructional resource in the classroom.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine how Pop-Up Book media influences the learning outcomes of class V students at MIN 1 Deli Serdang on Jl. Pasar XV Medan Sinembah District. Tanjung Morawa District. Deli Serdang. This research is quantitative research using the Quasi Experiment method. This study used a nonequivalent control group design. The population that will be the research sample is class V A and class V B MIN 1 Deli Serdang. Research data analysis used a t-test which was processed with the help of SPSS 25 software with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.002 0.05 in the experimental class. It can be concluded that there is an influence of pop-up book media on student learning outcomes in class V Indonesian language learning at MIN 1 Deli Serdang, because Pop-Up Book media can have a positive impact on students both in understanding the material, sharpening their thinking skills and inviting students to be more active and skilled in solving problems related to Indonesian language learning material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning activities and the ability to determine the main and supporting ideas through the application of the BUCS earning strategy that includes Baca (read), Uraikan (transform), Cermati (observe), Sampaikan (convey) in grade IV of Islamic Elementary School (IES) SDIT Nurul "˜Ilmi, Medan. Classroom action research employed in this study refers to the Kemmis & Taggart model whose cycle includes planning, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 21 students of fourth graders of the IES, whiles the objects studied were learning activities and the ability to determine the main ideas and supporting details in reading texts in the Indonesian language. Data were collected through observation sheets and tests and were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that (1) the means for learning activities of Grade IV students at SDIT Nurul "˜Ilmi likely indicated a modest increase from 72% to 77%. (2) Besides, students' skills in identifying main ideas and supporting details likewise experienced a noticeable upturn. The means for this variable in the pretest was 57, which then escalated to 61 in cycle 1 and 89 in cycle 2, respectively.English translation. Keywords: BUCS learning strategy, main ideas and supporting details, elementary school

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, terutama dalam penulisan teks cerita fantasi. Namun, rendahnya minat siswa dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang monoton menyebabkan hasil belajar menulis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Penelitianl ini bertujuanl untuk mengembangkanl media video animasi berbasis aplikasil Canva untukl meningkatkan keterampilanl menulis peserta didikl kelas VII MTs Al Bukhari Muslim Medan. Metodel yang digunakanl dalam penelitianl ini adalahl research andl development (lR&D) denganl model pengembanganl 4D yangl mencakup tahapl define, ldesign, development, danl disseminate. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 peserta didik kelas VII, yang berlokasi di MTs Al Bukhari Muslim Medan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar angket validasi ahli media, ahli bahasa, ahli materi, respon guru, dan respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi media mendapat skor capaian 90% dengan kategori ”sangat valid”, validasi ahli bahasa mendapat skor capaian 96% dengan kategori ”sangat valid”, dan validasi oleh ahli materi mendapat skor capaian 97% dengan kategori ”sangat valid”. Kepraktisan penggunaan media video animasi berbasis aplikasi Canva memperoleh skor persentase 98% dengan kategori ”sangat praktis”, respon peserta didik terhadap media video animasi berbasis aplikasi Canva memperoleh skor persentase 94% dengan kategori ”sangat baik”. Hasill penelitian menunjukkanl adanya peningkatanl yang signifikanl dalam keterampilan menulis lpeserta didik, dengan lrata-ratal nilai post-testl mencapai 86,75% setelah penggunaan media, dibandingkan dengan nilai pre-test yang hanya 65,5%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media videol animasi berbasisl aplikasi Canval efektif dalam meningkatkanl motivasi danl hasil belajarl peserta didik dalaml menulis teks fantasi. Kesimpulan Media video animasi berbasis Canva efektif meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks fantasi siswa. Media ini juga membantu pemahaman materi dan mendorong siswa menulis secara kreatif. Karena itu, penggunaan Canva sangat disarankan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to help students become skilled in speaking in class III of SD IT Al-Hijrah 2 through the implementation of hand puppet media in the learning process. In its implementation, the development method (R&D) through the ADDIE model approach with five stages, namely needs analysis, media design process, development stage, field application, and assessment related to media effectiveness. Linguists, media, and material experts conducted validation, with the average results falling into the “very feasible” feasibility category. The pretest and posttest findings are at a significance value of 0.000, which is below the 0.05 threshold. This indicates that the media trial significantly improved students' speaking ability. Responses from teachers and students also said that this material was interesting and easy to use for education. The research findings show that the use of hand puppet media is not only practical but also successful in fostering an interesting and participatory learning environment and improving students' speaking skills. Highlights: Improves speaking skills significantly using hand puppet media. ADDIE model ensures systematic media development. Validated as highly feasible by education experts.
