Abstract

This research analyzes the development of the profile of Pait Village in Kasembon District, Malang Regency, as a sustainable village to improve welfare through local potential. Pait Village has great opportunities in the agriculture and tourism sectors, but limited promotion, and digital literacy are the main obstacles. This research used descriptive qualitative methods with case studies and virtual ethnography, involving village officials, communities, tourism managers, tourists, and digital marketing experts. Village profile development was carried out by making promotional videos, from pre-production to distribution through social media. The results show that village profile videos attract tourists and increase sales of local products. However, challenges remain, such as poor infrastructure and lack of community participation due to low digital literacy. The conclusions emphasize the importance of sustainable promotion strategies, infrastructure improvements, and active community participation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore village institutions in managing the tangkas lake ecotourism in Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. This research is based on ecotourism, which is being studied by many researchers as responsible tourism towards socio-economic and environmental sustainability. In addition, institutions in ecotourism management that should be oriented towards the people's economy are often confronted with the interests of a few people. Therefore, based on the objectives of this study, a qualitative method was used with a descriptive exploratory approach to obtain an overview of the findings to answer the research questions. While the primary research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the secondary data will go through a review of documents, literature, social media, or others according to the research objectives. The results of the study show that leadership and coordination have been developed quite well, which were initiated directly by the village government. Partnerships that are built in complementary synergies so that they become the basis for developing potential based on academic knowledge. Meanwhile, Lake Tangkas ecotourism promotion facilities have utilized social media with websites and Facebook to Instagram. However, the village government is too structurally involved with policy makers ranging from the village head to the village secretary, while the strategic position of the community can be more dominant. The university carries out dharma service but does not significantly influence the development and contribution of the tangkas lake ecotourism management institution.

Abstract

A database is a fundamental element in an information system that is used to manage and store data. Two commonly used database types are NoSQL (Not Only SQL) and SQL (Structured Query Language). SQL uses a structured relational model with a fixed schema, while NoSQL is more flexible with various storage models such as document, key-value, column-width, and graph. This research aims to conduct a literature study on the comparison of these two types of databases, including their advantages, disadvantages, and applicability in various information system scenarios. The study results show that the choice between SQL and NoSQL is highly dependent on the specific needs of the application, in terms of performance, scalability, and data complexity.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi kini semua orang dalam melakukan pencarian informasi yang pertama dilaksanakan ialah mencari melalui internet, baik itu hanya menjadi rujukan atau memesan online. Bengkel Permata Motor belum memiliki media untuk menangani masalah ini. Cara-cara konvensional menghambat dalam melayani pelanggannya terutama dari segi waktu layanan dan jarak tempuh. Sehingga penulis merasa perlu membuat sebuah aplikasi penjualan suku cadang online pada bengkel Permata Motor ini yang berbasis web. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem pada pembangunan website ini menggunakan Waterfall¸ dimana metode ini masih relevan dan banyak digunakan oleh peneliti-peneliti lain. Langkah-langkah dalam pengembangan sistem yang sistematis memudahkan penulis dalam membangun aplikasi ini. Dengan dibuatnya aplikasi ini memudahkan pengguna mengelola sistem bengkel Permata Motor dalam bidang penjualan dan persediaan suku cadang. Sistem penjualan dan persediaan suku cadang dengan basis web ini memberi kemudahan pelanggan dalam memperoleh informasi cepat dan lengkap, mulai dari informasi suatu produk yang ada sampai transaksi pembayaran. Dengan dipergunakannya sistem ini juga kesalahan dalam pengolahan data suku cadang, pencatatan transaksi dan membuatlaporan dapat diminimalisir.

Abstract

The utilisation of goat's milk and moringa leaves as processed ice cream food products is one alternative that can be done by goat milk farmer community. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of moringa leaf flour (Moringa oleifera) on the organoleptic quality of ice cream.  The research was conducted at the Production Laboratory of the Universitas Sumatera Utara in September-October 2023. The study used a completely randomised design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replication where P0 without the addition of moringa flour, P1 = 20 grams of moringa flour, P2 = 25 grams of moringa flour, P3 = 30 grams of moringa flour. The parameters observed were organoleptic tests, namely colour, aroma, texture, taste and liking. The results showed that the addition of moringa flour (Moringa oleifera) with the treatment of 20 grams to the making of goat milk ice cream was liked by panelists in terms of colour, aroma, texture, taste and liking compared to the treatment of 25 grams and 30 grams.  In conslusion that ice cream with goat's milk added with 20% moringa leaf flour has preferable organoleptic quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of monetary policy in Indonesia. This study uses the VECM method and shows that monetary policy, through interest rates and money supply, effectively manages inflation, economic growth, and exchange rates in the long run, despite variations in the short-run impact. These results suggest a lag in the transmission of monetary policy and emphasize that the Indonesian economy is heavily influenced by external factors, such as world oil prices and economic growth in developed countries. Rising oil prices depress the rupiah exchange rate and increase inflation, while growth in advanced economies supports rupiah stability. An increase in interest rates and money supply also strengthens the exchange rate, as per Mundell-Fleming theory, making monetary policy an effective tool for macroeconomic stability.

Abstract

A Covalent Triazine Framework (CTF-1) and carbon nanospheres (CS) were synthesized to develop a porous, thermally stable, and efficient photocatalyst for dye degradation in wastewater treatment applications. The synthesized composite material exhibited a high surface area exceeding 400 m²/g, a well-defined mesoporous structure, and excellent optical properties, including strong light absorption extending up to 550 nm and a moderate band gap of approximately 2.8 eV. These characteristics promote effective visible light-driven photocatalysis. The photocatalytic performance was assessed by degrading methylene blue (MB) as a model organic dye pollutant under photo-Fenton conditions. The system demonstrated high efficiency, with over 90% of the dye removed within 120 minutes of irradiation. The degradation followed pseudo-first-order kinetics, confirming the photocatalytic nature of the reaction. Parameter studies indicated that hydroxyl radicals (•OH) were the dominant reactive species responsible for dye degradation. Moreover, CTF-1 retained its photocatalytic activity and structural integrity over multiple reuse cycles, showcasing excellent reusability and stability. The integration of high surface area for dye adsorption, efficient photoactivation under visible light, and robust radical generation synergistically contributed to the enhanced degradation performance. The study highlights the promising role of CTF-1 and its composites as multifunctional materials for advanced oxidation processes. Given its effectiveness, durability, and environmental compatibility, CTF-1 presents a sustainable and scalable solution for the treatment of dye-laden industrial wastewater. This work contributes to the development of next-generation photocatalysts aimed at addressing global challenges in water pollution and environmental remediation.

Abstract

Bisnis sewa mobil melibatkan sejumlah proses, termasuk pemesanan, pembayaran, pengembalian, dan pembatalan pemesanan. Namun, dalam berbagai proses tersebut, ada masalah yang muncul, seperti sistem pencatatan manual yang memerlukan waktu lebih dalam pengolahan data, pencarian informasi, serta rentan terhadap kerusakan. Di era saat ini, di mana teknologi berkembang pesat, masyarakat menginginkan sistem yang sederhana, mudah dipahami, cepat diakses, dan fleksibel yang dapat digunakan di mana saja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, pendekatan terstruktur, dan pengembangan sistem dengan model waterfall. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat bantu seperti Flowmap, Diagram Konteks, dan DFD. Sistem informasi ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dan MySQL sebagai database. Dengan adanya website sistem informasi rental mobil ini, diharapkan dapat mengatasi masalah yang ada, termasuk seluruh proses transaksi dan pengolahan data pemesanan mobil.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement an automated WhatsApp bot system based on Node.js and the Baileys library, equipped with a web dashboard as a management interface without requiring a Command Line Interface (CLI). The research method follows the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, Black-Box testing, and maintenance. Implementation results demonstrate that the WhatsApp bot can automatically respond to customer messages based on keywords, accelerate the sales process of premium digital applications, and improve customer service efficiency at the Untitled store. The web dashboard enables administrators to control the bot and manage message templates more flexibly. The study concludes that the developed system is effective in streamlining digital account sales operations and provides a foundation for further enhancements such as automatic payment integration and the application of Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has transformed modern education, particularly in managing school schedules efficiently. In vocational schools like SMK Global Jatitujuh, scheduling conflicts frequently arise due to limited classroom availability, teacher workload, and the addition of new subjects. These conflicts negatively affect teaching efficiency and student learning outcomes. This study proposes a web-based school timetable system using the Genetic Algorithm, an evolutionary computation method that optimizes scheduling through selection, mutation, and crossover operations. The system processes data on subjects, teachers, classrooms, and time slots to generate conflict-free and optimized timetables. The objectives are to implement a web-based scheduling system that minimizes timetable clashes and enhances the efficiency of educational management. Results indicate that the system effectively reduces scheduling conflicts, accelerates timetable generation, and decreases human errors in manual scheduling. In conclusion, the proposed system significantly improves the management of school schedules at SMK Global Jatitujuh, supports the teaching and learning process, and ensures an optimized allocation of educational resources. This approach demonstrates the potential of Genetic Algorithm-based web systems in modern educational scheduling solutions.
