Abstract

The dangers and threats of radicalism are increasingly lurking in the younger generation today. An ideology created and formed by a group of people who want instant and drastic change by using violent means and in the name of religion even though it is against the law and religion. This is where the role of women is very strong in the lives of their children, especially in Minangkabau culture, women's position can be optimized in preventing radicalism. Researchers use qualitative research methods. Where researchers carefully and carefully examine an activity, be it an event, activity, process, or group of individuals in a predetermined time and area. The mother's role as a madrasah ula can be seen from the extraordinary intensity of time between the child and the mother. From the mother, children's education begins, learning something new in their life, learning to speak, gaining knowledge, and forging their personality in living their life. Optimizing the role of mothers can be done by collaborating with government programs such as marriage programs, marriage counseling, and holding mosque youth weddings, recitations for mothers, religious lectures, and pre-marital education. As well as incorporating parenting patterns into learning material.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency can be said to be a problem that never ends, as the years go by, the forms and levels of delinquency become more numerous. This is of course still an interesting issue to discuss. In connection with this, this research aims to discuss the forms of efforts made by parents in dealing with juvenile delinquency, as a form of realization of cooperation between parents and the school and the community in overcoming this problem. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from parents in Indonesia as key informants, and teenagers as supporting informants through in-depth interviews selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the analysis show that the forms of efforts made by parents are: Preventive actions, and efforts to prevent the emergence of juvenile delinquency. Parents make efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency from occurring by strengthening their children's faith, such as ordering them to pray and recite the Koran so that their children always remember Allah SWT. However, their teenage children do not carry it out because they are busy or lazy. Repressive measures, and efforts to crack down on violations of social and moral norms can be carried out by imposing punishments. At this repressive stage, parents only give punishments to children when they are at home. Curative and Rehabilitation Actions: These actions are taken after other preventive measures have been implemented and it is deemed necessary to change the offender's behavior by providing more education. Parents do not provide guidance so that their children do not make the same mistakes.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning interest of students in the Fiqh subject at Madrasah Aliyah (MA), which necessitates innovative learning media that are more engaging and aligned with technological developments. One of the media utilized is the Canva application, which can present material in a visual, creative, and easily understandable manner. The purpose of this study is to describe the steps of utilizing Canva-based media by Fiqh teachers to increase students’ learning interest and to identify its advantages and disadvantages in the learning process. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that Fiqh teachers implement Canva utilization through stages of planning, media creation, learning implementation, student participation, and evaluation. The use of Canva has proven advantages, including attractive visual displays, ease of use, time efficiency, and the ability to enhance students’ motivation and creativity. However, there are also challenges, such as internet connectivity limitations, restrictions on free features, differences in students’ digital skills, and unequal access to devices. Overall, the utilization of Canva contributes positively to increasing students’ learning interest in the Fiqh subject.

Abstract

Religious education, especially in learning the Qur'an, has a significant role in the spiritual and moral development of the younger generation. However, many students in various educational institutions, including the Qur'anic education center, face difficulty reading, writing, and memorizing the Qur'an properly. This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of the Yanbu'a method in the aspects of reading, writing, and memorizing the Qur'an in students. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving interviews, observations, and documentation studies for data collection. The results of the analysis show that the application of the Yanbu'a method has succeeded in significantly improving the ability of students to read, write, and memorize the Qur'an. Repetition and imitation are key in the learning process. However, there are obstacles to the mastery of the method by teachers and the writing ability of students in lower classes. The results of the study indicate the need for training for teachers in the Yanbu'a method to improve the effectiveness of teaching the Qur'an in similar educational institutions.
