Abstract

Water is one of the financial needs for life. In everyday life we can see the importance of water for all living things, as well as human beings who also need water very much. In Jorong Dalam Nagari Barulak Tanah Datar, the need for clean water is difficult to obtain. This is because the position of this area is in the highlands. During the summer in the highlands it is very difficult to find a source of clean water, so that to meet these water needs, people get it by buying. The solution to overcome this problem is to apply science and technology in the form of a hydram pump that utilizes water pressure from a reservoir from a spring. Then the water is pumped through a pipeline to the divider tank at an elevated area. Clean water supply using a hydram pump is able to distribute water by 18.43 liters/min. So that the performance of a hydram pump continuously (within 24 hours) can supply of water as much as 26.54 m3/day. Applying appropriate technology in the form of a hydram pump as an effort to optimize the supply of clean water from the lowlands to the highlands so that it can address the water needs in the Nagari Barulak community. Utilizing the potential of existing water resources has an impact on increasing activities and reducing public funding for buying clean water.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) is one of the educational institutions that aims to prepare students to become skilled workers according to competence. This study aims to evaluate productive learning programs in the field of expertise in Computer and Network Engineering at SMK Negeri 8 Padang learning. This study used the evaluation model of the stake countenance program (antecedents, transactions and outcomes) with a combination research method (Mixed Methods) with a sequential explanatory design model. The respondents of the study were class XI students in the field of Computer and Network Engineering expertise of SMK Negeri 8 Padang a total of 63 people, teachers of productive subjects of Network Service Technology, deputy head of curriculum, head of the department of Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) expertise. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques for quantitative data use percentage analysis, for qualitative data in analysis with data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion / verification. Merging is done to determine mutually reinforcing or conflicting data and deepen the data findings. The results showed that the implementation of productive learning programs in the field of Computer and Network Engineering expertise at SMK N 8 Padang when viewed from the antecedents component has a percentage of 78.5% in the sufficient category. The transaction stage has a percentage of 79.48% in the sufficient category and the outcomes component has a percentage of 76.7% in the sufficient category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be seen that the achievement of productive learning programs in the field of Computer and Network Engineering expertise at SMK Negeri 8 Padang is still in the sufficient category. Therefore, it is necessary to make improvements and optimizations in each component element.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran perannya sangat dibutuhkan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran agar lebih terstruktur dan siswa paham apapun penyampaian dari guru. Observasi yang telah selesai penulis lakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Padang pada tanggal 9 Juli 2022 menunjukkan bahwasanya siswa lebih semangat dan lebih minat disaat guru menyampaikan materi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Adapun tujuan utama dari penelitian yang penulis lakukan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan media Google Sites. Ada beragam metode yang dapat digunakan dalam menganalisis minat belajar, metode yang penulis gunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan melaksanakan penelitian secara quasi experimental design sehingga penulis memilih dua buah kelas yaitu kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan rombel A (eksperimen) dan XI Teknik Pemesinan rombel B (kontrol). Hasil penelitian diperoleh untuk penggunaan media pembelajaran Google Sites dari kelas eksperimen presentasenya adalah 69,9% tergolong baik. Minat belajar kelas eksperimen persentasenya adalah 73,8% tergolong baik dan minat belajar kelas kontrol persentasenya adalah 72,9% tergolong baik. Walaupun dari segi penggunaannya dan minat dari kedua kelas tersebut tergolong baik, akan tetapi tingkat keefektifan media Google Sites dengan perhitungan manual didapatkan thitung 0,176 dan ttabel 2,008, thitung < ttabel sehingga H0 diterima, dan H1 tidak diterima, sedangkan perhitungan melalui SPSS didapatkan Two-Sided p 0,697, dengan perbandingan 0,697 > 0,05 H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak, media pembelajaran Google Sites tidak efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan A.

Abstract

The main issue that practically every nation in this hemisphere is dealing with is unemployment. With a relatively high unemployment rate, the Indonesian people also deal with this. The results of a survey by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as of August 2016, where there are more than 182.99 million Indonesian workers, and as many as 7.24 million people in Indonesia spread throughout the world and have not been accommodated by the world of work where SMK graduates are reported as the biggest contributor to the movement for the Indonesian nation. This study is part of the field of research and development. The Borg and Gall development model, which is divided into four stages—data collection, planning, development, and testing and validation—is referenced in this research and development. Field observations, interviews with study subjects, and the distribution of instruments in the form of questionnaires were all used to collect data. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the marketing collaboration program for SMK graduates with the gemeinschaft of mind community group was effective and could be an alternative in solving problems at the Vocational High School level.

Abstract

This study aims to create web-based instructional media with Google Sites and then assess the media's validity, practicability, and efficacy. This research used the R & D (Research and Development) technique with the 4-D development model (Four-D Model). Data collection used 3 types of questionnaires consisting of media, material, and language validation questionnaires. To test the effectiveness of the media, pretest and posttest questions were used, which had gone through a process of validation, reliability, discriminatory power and level of difficulty. The test results of all validations show that an average validity index of 0,919 in the Very Eligible criteria. Media practicality is in the Very Practical category, with an average practicality percentage of 84.91% across instructors and students. The media's effectiveness level is Effective Enough, with an average N-Gain score of 60.77% and a substantial T-Test value of 0.000, indicating that it may be utilized effectively in SMK Informatics learning. This study conducted trials on students who had just implemented the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang evaluasi implementasi praktek kerja industri pada kelas XI TKPI di SMK Negeri 10 Padang yang menggunakan Metode CIPP. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi program prakerin dari bidang Context, Input, Process, Evaluation. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif evaluatif untuk mengetahui hasil akhir dari sebuah program kebijakan yang telah berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan 21 orang sebagai populasi yang berasal dari siswa kelas XI TKPI dan 21 orang sebagai sampel dari kelas XI NKPI. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa program praktek kerja industri pada kelas XI jurusan Teknika Kapal Penangkap Ikan SMK Negeri 10 Padang sudah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan terhadap siswa jurusan teknik mesin SMK N 2 Payakumbuh mengenai korelasi dukungan keluarga dengan minat berwirausaha bidang pengelasan, diperoleh nilai rhitung sebesar 0,6072, rtabel 0.2403 (rhitung > rtabel. (0,6072 > 0.2403). Dengan rincian hasil uji validitas terhadap 40 butir pernyataan yaitu 20 variabel terikat (minat berwirausaha (Y)) dan 20 variabel bebas dukungan orang tua (X) ternyata semua tidak semua pernyataan valid karena ada beberapa pernyataan yang nilai rhitung £ nilai kritis (rtabel) pada α = 0,05 = 0,3061. Hasil reliabilitas baik pernyataan pada variabel terikat (minat berwirausaha (Y)) maupun variabel bebas (dukungan orangtua (X)) diperoleh nilai reliabilita sebesar 0,7807 dan 0.81052, berdasarkan tabel nilai alpha cronbach terletak antara 0,60-0,80, termasuk dalam klasifikasi reliabel. Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif antara dukungan orangtua dengan minat berwirausaha siswa siswa kelas XI SMK N 2 Payakumbuh pada bidang usaha pengelasan. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,242256 . Sedangkan nilai rtabel pada alfa (a) = 0,05 sebesar 1.67793 (ttabel = 1.67793). Dengan demikian maka thitung > ttabel.. (3,242256> 1.67793), sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini terbukti diterima, jadi “terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan dengan minaat berwirausaha siswa kelas XI SMK N 2 Payakumbuh pada bidang usaha pengelasan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dibidang bahan rekayasa yang terus meningkat menuntut manuasia harus berinovasi mencari alternatif bahan baku yang bisa gunakan. Alternatif bahan rekayasa yang tengah dikembang salah satunya adalah pemamfaatan limbah serat pinang yang memiliki potensi sebagai bahan baku pembuatan papan partikel. Metode eksperimen yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dimana pembuatan papan partikel berbahan baku serat pinang dicampur perekat tapioka. Proses pembuatan papan patikel dilakukan dengan memvariasikan partikel serat pinang dan tapioka berdasarkan perbandingan fraksi beratnya yaitu 90%:10%, 80%:20%, 70%:30% dan 60%:40%. Pengujian karakteristik papan partikel yang dihasilkan berpedoman dan dibandingkan dengan standar mutu JIS A5908-2003 dan SNI 03-2105-2006. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh karakteristik berupa nilai kerapatan 0.71 gr/cm3, kadar air 8,05 %, dan pengembangan tebal 5,78 % pada variasi perbandingan 60%:40%. Dari evaluasi uji karakteristik papan partikel yang dihasilkan ini sehingga dapat direkomendasikan sebagai bahan baku unutk pembuatan perabotan (furniture interior) yang pemakaiannya tidak terkena air dan pada kelembaban rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate whether virtual reality (VR) learning media can be used in Machining Technology courses which are practical learning but implemented virtually. The research using the Stake Countenance evaluation method was carried out at the Department of Mechanical Engineering FT-UNP in the July-December 2021 semester with 60 students as research subjects. This study was mix method by using sequential explanatory design. which is the collection of quantitative and qualitative data that is carried out sequentially. Data related to the antecedents, transaction, and outcomes phases were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The research begins with developing VR media that is implemented to learning materials in the field of Machining Technology and then applied to learning. Then first stage is carried out using quantitative then the next stage or the second stage is carried out using qualitative. The result of research showed that this VR application can help students understand the theory of introducing machine tool operations but have not been able to run machine. This study imply that students’ learning process should be enjoyable and also influence existing practices of Student-Centered Learning. The novelty of this study showed the evaluation result of technology, especially virtual reality can be implemented in the practice learning course, it can be reference for educator to consider implementing technology in practice learning. This study will contribute to existing knowledge and various instructional method that can be implemented by educator

Abstract

Dalam mengembangkan suatu sistem, kemudahan penggunaan merupakan prinsip penting yang digunakan sebagai ukuran keberhasilan sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Mobile Learning Pemrograman Dasar yang berfokus pada aspek praktikalitas dan efektifitas penggunaan sistem. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Padang dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 28 orang. Data praktikalitas diperoleh dari angket, tujuannya adalah untuk melihat kepraktisan Mobile Learning meliputi aspek kemudahan, waktu yang diperlukan dan daya tarik Mobile Learning. Selanjutnya untuk mengukur keefektifan Mobile Learning digunakan instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar (posttest) pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif Mobile Learning dilaksanakan dalam enam kali tatap muka dan satu kali pemberian tes akhir (post-test). Berdasarkan angket uji praktikalitas yang telah diberikan kepada peserta didik didapatkan hasil 82,75% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan data hasil belajar dari siswa yang mengikuti tes setelah mereka menggunakan Mobile Learning memiliki rata-rata hasil belajar yaitu 78.84, ini termasuk kategori sangat efektif. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan kategori praktis yang dikembangkan dapat mempermudah siswa dalam pemahaman materi dan menunjukkan efektivitas Mobile Learning sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran mandiri dibuktikan dari adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan Mobile Learning.
