Abstract

Abstract In granting credit, not everything went smoothly, some were substandard and some experienced bottlenecks. thus causing his business to fail and as a result he can no longer carry out his obligations to pay credit installments as they should. In the inability to pay, the bank can carry out three stages, one of which is the rescheduling stage. The problem in this paper is how good faith banking customers are in the event of bad credit. The research in this paper is normative juridical research, which examines only literature or secondary data, which may include primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. For rescheduling there are several terms and conditions that apply, namely having to re-contract and if there is a delayed margin must be paid in advance at the time of re-contract. The intended re-contract is to carry out the contract as the initial disbursement and pay administrative fees determined by the bank. The implementation of this rescheduling is very helpful for customers in continuing and completing their obligations after being given an extension of the time period in returning financing for bad loans.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Discussing fintech is not far from the development of e-commerce, business competition in the digital world is increasingly high, people prefer to shop or make transactions via applications. The two applications depend on each other to provide the best services and facilities for their users. This is what makes fintech applications develop financial technology features to become more varied. For example, the availability of short-term financing or commonly known as PayLater. The research method that the author uses in this research is normative legal research. Normative research is something that is done by studying, examining problems, and exploring or examining the norms and rules that apply in relation to the problem being researched. The regulations are contained in the Financial Services Authority Circular Letter Number 18/SEOJK.02/2017 concerning Information Technology Risk Management and Governance in Information Technology-Based Money Lending and Borrowing Services in Chapter V in paragraph 4 letter a.

Abstract

Caesarean section delivery often triggered anxiety in pregnant women due to its invasive and risky nature. One method to reduce preoperative anxiety related to caesarean section was by administering Murottal Al-Qur’an therapy. Murottal Al-Qur’an was believed to help calm the patient's psychological condition through spiritual approaches and sensory stimulation, allowing mothers to feel more relaxed and think positively and optimistically. This study aimed to determine the effect of Murottal Al-Qur’an therapy on reducing anxiety levels in mothers before undergoing caesarean section. This research was a quasi-experimental study using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The instrument used was the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the paired t-test. A total of 17 subjects were selected using purposive sampling. The results showed that Murottal Al-Qur’an therapy had a significant effect on reducing maternal anxiety levels before caesarean section, with a p-value of 0,000 (p < 0,05). It is expected that this study could serve as a reference and be applied as an intervention for patients undergoing caesarean section to help reduce preoperative anxiety levels.

Abstract

One of the flagship programs at Muhammadiyah Boarding School is the English Language development program known as the Weekly English program. This study aimed to identify the needs of students at Muhammadiyah Boarding School in Palopo. The descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. The study included 27 students as participants. The researchers interviewed teachers and students during the weekly English program to learn more about their needs and perspectives. According to the findings of the researchers' observations and interviews with teachers and students, an appropriate module is needed as one of the learning resources in the Weekly English program. It is needed to provide the materials and exercises given in one level during the program at Muhammadiyah Boarding School.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis Putusan Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara (PTUN) Nomor 56/G/2022/PTUN.MDN tentang pemilihan Kepala Desa Sogar, Kecamatan Andam Dewi, Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah, ditinjau dari perspektif Fikih Siy?sah Dust?riyah. Kasus ini berawal dari Surat Keputusan (SK) Bupati Tapanuli Tengah Nomor 2657/DPMD/2021 tentang pengesahan, pemberhentian, dan pengangkatan kepala desa, yang menetapkan Johan Wesley sebagai kepala desa, padahal ia merupakan calon yang kalah, sedangkan Miresis Marpaung memperoleh suara terbanyak. Merasa dirugikan, beberapa pihak mengajukan gugatan ke PTUN Medan untuk membatalkan SK Bupati tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan pengumpulan data kepustakaan dan analisis deskriptif terhadap putusan pengadilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hakim menolak gugatan penggugat karena para penggugat tidak memiliki kedudukan hukum (legal standing) sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 53 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 9 Tahun 2004 tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 5 Tahun 1986 tentang Peradilan Tata Usaha Negara. Dari perspektif Fikih Siy?sah Dust?riyah dan Siy?sah Qad?’iyah, putusan PTUN Medan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip peradilan dalam Islam, yaitu Istiqlal al-Qadlâ’ (independensi peradilan), al-Mus?wah am?mal Qadlâ’ (persamaan di hadapan hukum), ‘Alaniyatu majlis al-Qadlâ’ (keterbukaan sidang), dan Sulthatu al-Qadlî (kekuasaan kehakiman).

Abstract

Reading comprehension plays a crucial role in English language learning, yet many junior high school students in Indonesia struggle to understand English texts due to limited vocabulary and low motivation. To address these challenges, this study investigated the effectiveness of illustrated stories as a medium to enhance students’ reading comprehension. The research employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test and post-test model. The participants were 25 eighth-grade students of SMPN 08 Palopo, selected purposively based on their low proficiency in reading English texts. The instrument consisted of a reading comprehension test, while the treatment involved five sessions of instruction using illustrated stories covering different types of narrative texts. The findings revealed that the mean score of students improved from 38.36 in the pre-test to 61.40 in the post-test. The paired sample t-test result (t = -5.253, p < 0.001) indicated a statistically significant difference between the two sets of scores, confirming the effectiveness of illustrated stories in improving reading comprehension. Furthermore, the post-test classification showed that more students achieved the good and very good categories compared to the pre-test, where the majority were in the poor and very poor categories. These results suggest that illustrated stories provide both cognitive and motivational benefits by integrating textual and visual elements that make reading more engaging and accessible. The study concludes that illustrated stories are an effective medium for teaching reading comprehension and recommends their integration into English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This article was conducted to find out the teachers’ difficulties in teaching reading comprehension of the seventh-grade students at SMPN 22 Palembang. The research design used in this study was descriptive qualitative method. The participants in this study were two English language teachers who teach in grade seventh at SMPN 22 Palembang. The data were collected using a semi- structured interview with open-ended questions. Then, data from interviews was analyzed using thematic analysis in this study as part of the analysis. After analyzing the data, the findings showed that there are five difficulties that teachers face when teaching reading comprehension in seventh grade students at SMPN 22 Palembang, as follows: (1) students’ lack of motivation, (2) limited instructional time, (3) lack of background knowledge (4) students’ limited vocabulary, and (5) lesson plan constraints. Therefore, this research discusses the difficulties experienced by English teachers in seventh grade, thus it is hoped that readers especially English teachers who experienced similar difficulties can use this research to increase their variety of learning activities and overcome the difficulties they are faced.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a vocabulary handbook for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palopo. The researcher used Research and Development by adapting the ADDIE model—the participants of this study were eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Palopo and three expert validators. Data were collected through observation, interviews, students' questionnaires, and expert validation.  The vocabulary handbook was developed by referring to the needs analysis and adapting a task-based language approach. The appropriate vocabulary handbook as a research product consists of: 1. three units of vocabulary handbook material, namely: What are you doing? My uncle is a zookeeper, and Bigger is sometimes better. 2. Variety of activities adapted from task-based 3. Attractive layout and media 4. Other skills like listening, reading, and writing are completed with exciting grammar and vocabulary. The suitability of the student vocabulary guidebook is evidenced by the results of student and teacher perceptions that were categorized into "Very Good" classification, which indicated that the vocabulary handbook is ready to use with little revisions.

Abstract

In Law Number 18 of 2013 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Forest Destruction, in this case, it does not pay attention to the rights of indigenous peoples who have obtained customary rights or rights to control forests for generations. In Nagari Koto Malintang, they have local wisdom that they have practiced for years, such as felling 2 trees for basic needs and not for commercial purposes through permission from local traditional leaders and the Wali Nagari Koto Malintang.This research is a normative juridical research using a case approach and a statute approach, in this research the analysis is carried out by criticizing, supporting, or commenting, then making a conclusion on the results of the study with their own thoughts. and literature review assistance.The application of material punishment in decision number 129/Pid. B/LH/2017/PN.LBB, According to the author, it is not appropriate and does not meet the elements charged by the public prosecutor, but in the judge's consideration of the aggravating circumstances, the panel of judges did not reflect a sense of justice towards the defendants and the values of local wisdom who have lived and run in the community for many years. The judge's consideration in this case also contradicts the theory of criminal responsibility in which the defendants can be given excuses for forgiveness and the ultimum theory remediates that punishment is the last step.Law Enforcement Officials should be wiser in eradicating the crime of logging trees on customary lands of customary law communities and must pay attention to the values that live in local communities such as local wisdom that they have practiced for years.

Abstract

Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memotivasi siswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris dengan melakukan pendekatan pembelajaran dengan konsep “Fun with English”. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengubah persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Bahasa Inggris yang sebelumnya dianggap membosankan, tetapi saat ini menjadi pengalaman yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Sasaran pelatihan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris ini adalah siswa/siswi kelas 12 dari SMA Negeri 1 Batu Putih. Pelatihan bahasa Inggris ini dilakukan dengan metode pengajaran yang mengutamakan collaborative learning dan menyenangkan. Dampak dari kegiatan ini yaitu siswa tidak lagi menganggap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai pembelajaran yang tidak menarik, tetapi menjadi pembelajaran yang memberikan pengalaman baru yang menarik dan menyenangkan.
