Abstract

Learning strategies are plans that encompass a series of activities, methods, and the utilization of resources to achieve educational objectives. In formal education, teachers act as administrators who must be capable of organizing educational programs optimally. Therefore, teachers need to possess engaging and enjoyable learning strategies to enhance students’ learning motivation. In the subject of Aqidah Akhlak, learning does not only focus on cognitive aspects but also emphasizes the practice of moral values in daily life. Consequently, teachers must serve as good role models both inside and outside the school environment. This study aims to identify the learning motivation of ninth-grade students in the Aqidah Akhlak subject, examine the planning and implementation of teachers’ strategies in enhancing such motivation, and analyze the obstacles faced by teachers at MAN 3 Aceh Besar. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that teachers’ efforts to improve students’ learning motivation have been fairly successful. Students show increased interest in learning, and teachers believe that positive changes will continue as students become more aware that this learning is beneficial for their personal development.

Abstract

This study aims to map and analyze the research trends on literacy and educational technology in primary education from 2021 to 2025 through a blibliometric and systematic literature review approach. Data were collected from Google Scholar and Crossref using the Publish or Perish software to facilitate the retrieval of blibliometric information. The PRISMA 2020 protocol was applied to ensure a transparent and structured review process. VOSviewer was employed to visualized the relationships among keyword and thematic clusters. The result identified three major clusters: (1) literacy and learning media, (2) analysis of technological effectiveness, and (3) implementation and cse-based learning models. The correlation among clusters indicates that literacy development serves as a conceptual basis for the application and evaluation od educational technology in primary schools. Research trends show a shift from the development of literacy-based media to the assessment of digital technology effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes. This study constributes to understanding the evolving landscape of digital literacy and technology integration in primary education, highlighting the importace of digital transformation for 21st-century learning skills

Abstract

The application of students to institutional management is one of the needs to improve the quality of education. The lack of school facilities and infrastructure is the main obstacle in effective student management. This research aims to determine the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of student management programs. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects are the principal, teachers and students of MTsN Cot Gue. The results of the study show that: the student management plan prepared by the principal with the vice head of students and vice head of curriculum includes Admission courses, new student capacity, and the new student selection process, analyzing subjects, compiling annual programs, semester programs, syllabus and Learning Program Plans. All plans are drafted, drafted and documented. The implementation is adjusted to the student management plan prepared, both in relation to new admissions and student activities. Supervision of student management based on a management system, namely looking for every activity that has been planned, carried out and well supervised. Principals and teachers to supervise the implementation of student management. Both the principal and the teacher carry out roles and responsibilities based on the duties and functions for the management of student success. Activities and aspects of student assessment management based on the plan prepared. Evaluations are carried out to see the success and improve the activities that have been carried out.

Abstract

Anak tunagrahita merupakan anak yang mengalami gangguan perkembangan intelektual yang dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan anak mulai dari kemampuan belajar, komunikasi dan interaksi dengan lingkungan termasuk perkembangan kemandiriannya. Kemandirian personal hygiene adalah salah satu bentuk kemandirian yang di ajarkan kepada anak saat usia prasekolah. Namun berbeda dengan anak tunagrahita yang merupakan anak yang memiliki intelektual dibawah rata-rata sehingga menyebabkan terhambatnya seluruh tahap perkembangannya termasuk perkembangan kemandiriannya sehingga tetap membutuhkan bantuan hingga usia dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran kemandirian personal hygiene anak tunagrahita sedang di SLB Gema Insani Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dengan dua orang guru sebagai informan utama. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis dari Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari empat tahapan; pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemandirian personal hygiene anak tunagrahita sedang sangat dipengaruhi oleh jenjang pendidikan dan fase perkembangan. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara siswa SMP SMA dengan siswa SD dalam memahami urutan aktivitas kebersihan diri. Upaya peningkatan kemandirian dilakukan oleh guru melalui Program Khusus (Progsus) dengan metode modelling, praktik langsung, serta penggunaan media visual seperti video animasi. Keberhasilan kemandirian juga sangat bergantung pada kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua melalui komunikasi intensif via buku catatan khusus dan aplikasi pesan singkat. Namun, hambatan yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan intelektual anak, kurangnya kesabaran orang tua yang cenderung membantu anak agar pekerjaan cepat selesai, serta faktor ekonomi keluarga yang membatasi waktu pendampingan di rumah.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students' mental development at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Selatan, examines the challenges encountered, and evaluates the outcomes of teachers' efforts in enhancing students' mental well-being. Employing a qualitative approach, this research involves observation, interviews, and documentation to gather comprehensive data on students' experiences and teachers' interventions. The findings reveal that PAI teachers play a crucial role in students' mental development through spiritual guidance and religious activities such as congregational prayers, religious extracurricular programs (rohis), lectures, and moral discussions. These activities assist students in managing emotions, building self-confidence, and shaping positive behavior. Teachers serve as role models in character development, imparting religious values to reinforce students’ moral foundations. Furthermore, PAI teachers encourage active participation in religious activities, which significantly influences students' social interactions and academic performance. However, several challenges persist, including students' reluctance to be open, low learning motivation, and negative social influences. Despite these challenges, students demonstrate behavioral improvements such as increased discipline, honesty, patience, empathy, and greater engagement in religious and academic activities. The study concludes that PAI teachers play a vital role in shaping students’ mental well-being by instilling strong religious values and continuously reinforcing positive character development. Their professional and dedicated approach ensures that students are better equipped to navigate social and academic pressures, fostering overall personal growth.

Abstract

In the realm of education, the dynamics of learning have always been a subject of keen interest and in-depth investigation. This research explores the intricate relationship between cautious thinking, cooperation capability, and cognitive presence within the educational context. The results of data analysis indicate that these three variables have a strong and significant relationship. Notably, cautious thinking plays a pivotal role in enhancing students' critical thinking abilities, while cooperation capability exerts a positive influence on their cognitive presence. These findings provide a solid foundation for understanding the pivotal roles of cautious thinking and cooperation capability in elevating the quality of students' learning experiences. Furthermore, the implications of this research resonate profoundly in the field of management, offering the promise of enhancing educational practices and human resource development. With a hopeful outlook, the researchers anticipate that the outcomes of this study will serve as a stepping stone for further research and will contribute substantially to the ongoing enhancement of educational standards and management practices in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between students' social media addiction and student academic achievement in online lectures that use e-learning platforms. The number of study participants was 79 psychology students, who were selected using purposive sampling. The findings show that there is a positive but not significant relationship between social media addiction and academic achievement. This condition indicates that student academic achievement will increase if students reduce their addiction to using social media. Online lectures provide space for students to access social media, so direction and guidance from lecturers is needed for students not to use social media during online lectures
