Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in text-based Indonesian language learning for class VII students at State Middle Schools in Bolo District, Bima Regency. The Merdeka Curriculum, as the latest innovation in the Indonesian education system, brings significant changes in learning approaches, including in teaching Indonesian. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing this new curriculum, with a special focus on text-based learning which is at the core of Indonesian language teaching.The research method used is a mixed method, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research sample consisted of five state junior high schools in Bolo District, involving 15 Indonesian language teachers and 150 class VII students. Data collection was carried out through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, student surveys, and analysis of curriculum documents and lesson plans. Qualitative data was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques, while quantitative data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis. Data triangulation was used to increase the validity of research findings.

Abstract

Persoalan ruang dan waktu adalah dua dimensi yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia sehingga ditandai dengan bahasa yang sangat rinci. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan sisi kebahasaan tentang konsep ruang dan waktu dalam Bahasa Sasak (dialek a-e) di dusun Polak Penyayang, Lombok Tengah dan pandangan budaya masyarakatnya. Penyediaan data dilakukan dengan metode simak, cakap, dan introspeksi. Lalu dilakukan reduksi data, display data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa satuan lingual yang dipakai untuk menandai konsep ruang dan waktu dalam Bahasa Sasak (di Polak Penyayang) berbentuk kata dasar dan berbentuk kata kompleks. Konsep ruang yang termasuk bentuk dasar, yaitu leksikon bat ‘barat’, boloq ‘atas, sumber aliran air’, dereq ‘bawah, arah air mengalir’; sementara bentuk kompleks meliputi leksikon běbat ‘ke arah barat’ dan bětimuq ‘ke arah timur’. Konsep waktu yang termasuk bentuk dasar, yaitu leksikon baruq ‘barusan’, uiq ‘kemarin’, dan laeq ‘dulu’; bentuk kompleks meliputi leksikon baruq kělemaq ‘tadi pagi’, jělo ni ‘hari ini’, dan lemaq aru ‘besok pagi’. Selain itu, ditemukan pula konsep waktu yang dilihat dari tanda-tanda alam dan ritual siklus kehidupan tertentu, seperti leksikon kêtaun ‘musim hujan’, kêbalit ‘musim kemarau’, rorampaq ‘antara musim penghujan dan kemarau’, serta nyiwaq ‘hari kesembilan dari hari kematian’. Adapun pandangan budaya masyarakat setempat terkait konsep ruang dan waktu, seperti konsep ruang boloq ‘atas/tinggi’ yang tidak hanya dipandang sebagai sumber mata air, tetapi sebagai sesuatu yang dimuliakan (sakral) dan ini mengacu pada gunung Rinjani sebagai iněn paer ‘induknya bumi Sasak’. Juga pandangan budaya tentang konsep waktu sêrêp jêlo ‘menjelang matahari terbenam’ sebagai waktu pantangan untuk beraktivitas

Abstract

This study aims to measure the ability of class X students in the city of Mataram in producing anecdotal texts in Indonesian language learning. The research data collection was carried out by the method of observation and documentation with the technique of free competency involvement. The analysis of the research was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively by connecting the intralingual equivalent method of link-to-equalize, connect-to-differentiate, and link-to-equalize the main things for secondary education students in the city of Mataram and to smooth the course of the research 113 students were selected as samples. provided that all students have received the same learning. The results showed that the students' ability in producing anecdotal literary genre texts ran quite well. This research was conducted to see the results of students 'writing skills at the intermediate level and is expected to be successful in helping improve students' writing skills in producing texts.

Abstract

This study discusses the determination of the beginning of prayer times in polar regions that do not experience day and night changes as other regions normally do. The discussion will use the theory of thought from Yusuf Al-Qardhawi about minority fiqh. This study uses a library method with reference sources from books, scriptures, or articles related to the theme discussed. Furthermore, it is analyzed with qualitative data to find a complete understanding. The results are that the existing problems are in line with religious teachings and existing social realities. So with the existence of minority fiqh, it can provide a relevant legal perspective. With this discovery, it is hoped that it can contribute to minority fiqh that is by the social and cultural context that exists in Muslim minorities wherever they are.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini secara spesifik bertujuan (1) mengenalkan tipe materi ajar bahasa Sumbawa yang berdimensi bhineka tunggal ika; (2) mengenalkan model pembelajaran materi ajar bahasa Sumbawa yang berdimensi bhineka tunggal ika. Secara umum tujuannya meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru SD/SMP di Sumbawa. Pengabdian berbentuk penyuluhan ini didasarkan pada hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh Burhanuddin dkk (2021) tentang hal tersebut. Untuk melaksanakan kegiatan penyuluhan secara metodologi dilakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. Kegiatan perencanaan mencakup koordinasi, penyusunan materi, serta penyiapan alat dan bahan penyuluhan. Kegiatna pelaksanaan mencakup pembukaan, pemaparan materi, dan diskusi. Adapun pelaporan mencakup materi penyusunan laporan, luaran kegiatan serta penyerahan laporan. Materi penyuluhan yang disampaikan mencakup materi ajar dan model pembelajaran bahasa Sumbawa berdimensi bhineka tunggal ika, sesuai yang disusun narasumber. Kegiatan berjalan lancer atas dukungan internal tim serta eksternal, yaitu Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sumbawa dan Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran gemeinschaft dalam mencegah konflik yang mungkin timbul selama pemilu legislatif 2024. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-fenomenologis, penelitian ini mengkaji interaksi di dalam masyarakat Desa Kopang, yang terletak di Karang Gayam, Kecamatan Blega, Kabupaten Bangkalan, setelah pemilu. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tiga faktor kunci yang mendorong masyarakat untuk menghindari konflik pasca pemilu: ikatan bersama dengan tempat asal mereka, koneksi klan keluarga, dan kebutuhan kerja sama ekonomi di bidang pertanian. Elemen-elemen ini sangat dihargai oleh masyarakat Kopang dan dianggap lebih penting daripada terlibat dalam perselisihan yang tidak produktif. Masyarakat menganggap ikatan-ikatan tersebut sebagai sesuatu yang sakral dan memprioritaskannya di atas kepentingan-kepentingan pragmatis yang bersifat sementara. Perspektif ini mencerminkan kemampuan mereka untuk berpikir dan bertindak secara rasional, dengan menekankan pentingnya kenangan lama yang terkait dengan asal-usul bersama, jaringan keluarga, dan saling ketergantungan ekonomi. Ikatan abadi ini tidak tergantikan dan tetap menjadi pusat untuk menjaga keharmonisan dalam menghadapi peristiwa politik yang berpotensi memecah belah.

Abstract

Language is a means of communication between humans and others. When communicating, it is necessary to pay attention to several factors, one of which is politeness in language. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' politeness in interacting during the Indonesian language learning process in class. This study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to describe various findings during the study. Based on the data analysis process and discussion, it was concluded that students' politeness in language adhered more to the principles of the maxims of tact, simplicity, agreement, appreciation, and sympathy

Abstract

Critical discourse studies as manifested are not just an analysis of people's social behavior as reflected through language. In relation to critical discourse studies, the language units that are the object of study are narrated as a reflection of social praxis, where linguistic units that are suspected of containing criticism can be used as material to reconstruct the intent or purpose of conveying criticism; whether criticism is aimed only at building humor between epistemic groups or is it more than just criticizing, meaning that criticism is used to fight against the domination of power. This research aims to describe the status of criticism in the principles of interpretation of critical discourse studies, especially with regard to global, local meaning and context models. The source of research data was obtained by transcribing criticism of subpoena video footage on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach, in which data was collected using a free-to-read, skillful listening method. The data is then analyzed by interpreting the context, semantic macrostructure, local and global meaning, relevance of the formal structure of discourse, and interpretation of the context model using the extralingual equivalent method. The results of the research show that the criticism made by comedians on Deddy Corbuzier's summons channel contains three strategic problems which are manifested by interpreting global, local meanings, as well as the discourse context model in the criticism.

Abstract

Islamic education management plays a crucial role in shaping a generation that excels academically and possesses strong moral and spiritual character. This study aims to analyze the paradigm of Islamic education management from the educational philosophy perspective and develop an effective strategic plan for Islamic schools. The research employs a qualitative approach through literature studies. The findings indicate that implementing the Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC) concept, based on Islamic values, enhances the effectiveness of Islamic school management. Furthermore, integrating Islamic educational philosophy into management systems enables schools to face global challenges without losing their Islamic identity. Thus, this study contributes to developing a more strategic and sustainable Islamic education management model.

Abstract

Islamic education faces significant challenges in adapting to the evolving demands of modern society. One philosophical approach that offers a solution is pragmatism, which emphasizes experience, flexibility, and relevance in learning. This study aims to analyze the integration of pragmatism in Islamic education and its significance to modern learning. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, examining academic literature related to educational philosophy and pragmatist theory. The findings indicate that applying pragmatism in Islamic education enhances learning effectiveness by emphasizing real-world experiences, curriculum flexibility, and the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This approach enables students to understand Islamic teachings in a more practical and contextualized manner, preparing them to face contemporary challenges. Additionally, integrating technology in pragmatism-based learning further strengthens the relevance of Islamic education in the digital era. Therefore, more adaptive policies are needed to implement pragmatist principles in Islamic educational institutions to ensure sustainable and effective learning outcomes.
