Abstract

This study aims to identify the need for developing an e-book using Canva for fifth-grade science learning at SDIT Utsmanil Hakim. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through teacher interviews and student surveys. The e-book development follows the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The interviews revealed that most teachers believe digital learning tools such as e-books are necessary to enhance student engagement and enjoyment in learning science. Teachers also noted that digital media like videos and images help students better understand complex topics such as the water cycle, layers of the Earth, and Earth’s surface. Although e-books have not been widely used, teachers agreed that integrating text, images, videos, and quizzes would make learning more interactive and motivating. Student survey results indicated that most students prefer using e-books and find Canva-based e-books more engaging than traditional printed materials. They also expressed a desire for more varied and interactive learning methods. Based on these findings, developing an e-book with Canva is strongly recommended to make science learning more effective and to support students’ 21st-century skill development in elementary education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik melalui metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif  dengan desain penelitian memberikan soal uraian dan isian singkat pada pretest-posttest kepada peserta didik.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 28 Gasing  Kabupaten Landak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah t-test dan independent sample test. Hasil penilitian menunjukan bahwa kreativitas keterampilan menulis peserta didik  melalui metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan, hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil nilai  rata-rata post test yang diperoleh peserta didik dengan skor 81.83. Hasil ini diperkuat pada uji hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 5% atau 0,05 yang menunjukan bahwa thitung > ttabel.(2.09302 > 1.961). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran melalui Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan kreativitas keterampilan menulis peserta didik pada pembelajarn IPA dengan materi pembelajara sistem pencernaan makanan pada manusia kelas V  di SDN 28 Gasing Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak Tahun Pelajaran 2022-2023

Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital Science instructional material based on the 5E learning cycle to enhance elementary school students' learning outcomes. The research method employed Research & Development with the ADDIE approach, consisting of Analysis of Needs, Design of instructional material, Development of instructional material, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data collection was conducted through interviews and questionnaires to gather information from the analysis of the needs of 20 elementary school students and 3 class teachers. The analysis results indicate that 66.7% of teachers state the necessity of digital instructional material to improve students' learning outcomes. Meanwhile, interviews with students reveal the need for easily accessible, interactive, and engaging instructional materials. Both students and teachers responded positively to the development of digital instructional materials in Science learning. In conclusion, the analysis underscores the crucial need for digital Science instructional material based on the 5E learning cycle as additional teaching resources. keywords: digital material;science; 5E learning cycle; elementary school

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in learning Science through the use of interactive learning media based on Google Sites for students in elementary school. The research method used is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggart model. This research is cyclical in nature which amounts to three cycles with the aim of making improvements to the problems encountered. In each cycle, action planning, action implementation, action observation, and action reflection were carried out. This research was conducted at Sukamaju 6 State Elementary School in Depok City involving fifth grade students who acted as research subjects. Techniques in collecting research data using observation results, field notes, test results, questionnaires, and documentation. As for knowing the existence of an increase in interest in learning, namely by using a questionnaire given to students, while to measure the improvement of learning outcomes a test instrument is used. This study was declared successful if 85% of students got an average score of 75. The results of the research in the pre-cycle showed the low scores of students on the Science learning so that it is necessary to improve learning and classroom action research using Google Sites.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to provide knowledge of the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and motivation on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This quasi-experimental study employed a pretest-posttest control group design, focusing on fifth-grade students at SDN Lulut 05, Klapanunggal District. Class VA was selected as the experimental group, while class VB served as the control group using purposive sampling. Data analysis involved the N-gain formula and t-test. The results shown: (1) There is a difference in the increase in students' mathematical reasoning ability after being given the RME approach indicated by the N-gain value of 55.5 in the medium category and for the experimental class 36.8 in the low category, then the control class in the t-test (independent) so that the Sig value is obtained. 0.001<0.005, as for deciding in the independent sample t-test. It is concluded that there is a significant difference between the average score mathematical reasoning ability by students treated with the RME approach and the Conventional approach. (2) There is an influence of the RME approach on students' mathematical reasoning abilities with an effect size score of 1.44 which is in the high category.

Abstract

Seni rupa memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan sekolah dasar, seni rupa di kenal dengan mata pelajaran SBdP (seni budaya dan prakarya) di sekolah dasar. Fokus utama dalam artikel ini adalah analisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran buku interaktif dalam materi pencampuran warna kelas 3 sekolah dasar. Tujuan penulisan artikel ilmiah ini adalah untuk Mengidentifikasi tingkat pemahaman siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar terhadap konsep pencampuran warna dalam mata pelajaran SBdP serta Menganalisis kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran buku interaktif untuk mempelajari konsep pencampuran warna. Analisis kebutuhan ini di lakukan di SDN Petukangan Selatan 05 dengan jumlah siswa kelas 3 SD sebanyak 25 siswa. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan ialah Research and Development (R&D). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah angket dan wawancara. Hasil temuan yang di dapat dari angket dan wawancara adalah, siswa kelas 3 masih kurang memahami konsep pencampuran warna, dan dari hasil wawancara yang di lakukan kepada guru kelas menyatakan bahwa materi pencampuran warna di kelas 3 SD tidak di jelaskan begitu mendalam, melainkan hanya sekilas saja, dalam sekali pertemuan, kesimpulannya ialah media pembelajaran buku interaktif ini di perlukan oleh siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar, untuk memudahkan siswa dalam memahami konsep warna dan pencampuran warna serta dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam mewarnai.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah bahan ajar digital interaktif berbasis inkuiri yang dapat membantu peserta didik memahami mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, terutama pada materi Pencernaan Makanan Pada Manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research And Development) dengan model pendekatan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu: Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, serta teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui uji one to one dan small group. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan 30 peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Validasi dilakukan oleh beberapa pakar, yaitu pakar media, pakar materi, dan pakar bahasa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil uji validasi pakar media sebesar 87,72%, hasil uji validasi dari pakar materi mendapatkan rata-rata 89,90%, kemudian untuk pakar bahasa memperoleh rata-rata 89,25%. Sedangkan hasil uji  coba perorangan (one to one) sebesar 88,8% sehingga termasuk pada tingkatan baik, hasil uji  coba kelompok kecil (small group) sebesar 91% sehingga masuk kedalam tingkatan sangat baik, dan hasil uji lapangan (field  test). Dengan mempertimbangkan standar tersebut, pengembangan buku digital ini dapat dianggap pantas untuk dimanfaatkan dalam pengajaran IPA, terutama pada topik sistem pencernaan manusia.Kata Kunci: bahan ajar interaktif, pencernaan makanan pada manusia, dan inkuiri

Abstract

The Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to increase student responsibility through the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model in Class IV. This research uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model with 4 steps, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques come from questionnaires, observation of teacher and student actions. The data analysis technique uses simple quantitative by calculating the average achievement of student responsibility and descriptive qualitative to describe the results of the quantitative data obtained. In cycle I, the results of the student questionnaire that obtained > 75 were 61.29%. While in cycle II it reached 74.19% While Cycle III 90.32%. The data on teacher action observations in cycle I in improving student cooperation using the card sort type cooperative learning model reached 64%, while student activity obtained results of 62%. In cycle II, the observation of teacher activity actions reached 74% and student activity reached 69%. In cycle III, the observation of teacher actions reached 95%, while student activity was 90%. Thus, the use of the cooperative learning model of the card sort type can improve the cooperation of fourth grade students at SDN Bangka 07 Pagi in the Pancasila Education Subject.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students on topics of magnet, electricity, and technology through the STEM-PjBL model. The study involved 20 students. The research design employed was classroom action research conducted in three cycles. Qualitative data analysis techniques were utilized. The analysis of students' critical thinking skills focused on five indicators: Identify Question at Issue, conceptual understanding, ideas connection, assumptions, and inferences, with five levels of achievement. The results showed an improvement in critical thinking skills, with 75% of students' responses at a very good level of critical thinking, 35% at the mastering level in cycles I and II, and 45% in cycle III, along with 35% at the competent level. Meanwhile, those at the developing level were 15% in cycles I and II, increasing to 20% in cycle III. The remainder was 5% at the emerging stage in cycle I and 10% in cycle II. There were 5% at the absent level in cycle I. Therefore, the STEM-PjBL model can be considered an effective approach for students to enhance their critical thinking skills in IPAS learning and to support their active engagement in the classroom.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian pengembangan bertujuan menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) elektronik berbasis pendidikan karakter sebagai penunjang materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). Metode yang digunakan Research & Development, model yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan; Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, dan Evaluation (ADDIE). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Lebak Bulus 04 Pagi. Langkah-langkah dalam tahapan penelitian ini, 1) menganalisis kebutuhan penelitian, 2) perancangan produk, 3) mengembangkan produk, 4) uji coba peserta didik, dan 5) evaluasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil uji coba pengembangan dievaluasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa yang diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata sebesar 90,3%dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan hasil uji coba pengguna secara online menghasilkan nilai rata-rata 84,45%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di kelas empat sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci: LKPD, Pendidikan Karakter, PPKn AbstractDevelopment research aims to produce a student worksheet of electronic-based character education as well as supporting the learning materials Pancasila and Citizenship Education. Methods used in Research & Development, models are developed with the use of; Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). This research was conducted in elementary school Lebak Bulus 04 in the Morning. The steps in the stages of this research, 1) analyze the needs of the research, 2) product design, 3) develop the products, 4) trials of learners, and 5) evaluation. Data analysis techniques using interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the test development were evaluated by media experts, material experts, and linguists obtained from an average value of 90,3%with very good category, while the results of user testing online generate an average value 84,45%. This shows that the worksheet learners decent used for learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education in the fourth grade of primary school.Keywords: Student Worksheet, Character Education, Civic Education
