Abstract

Background: Rounded shoulder posture is marked by forward displacement of the shoulders from their neutral position, commonly caused by prolonged poor sitting habits. Clinically, it manifests as shoulder or scapular pain, restricted range of motion, and increased stiffness of the pectoralis minor. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of adding kinesiotaping to a shoulder strengthening and pectoralis minor stretching program with that of a conventional exercise therapy protocol commonly used as standard treatment. Methods: This experimental study used a pretest-posttest two-group design involving 42 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The sample was divided into intervention (shoulder strengthening and pectoralis minor stretching exercises + kinesiotaping) and control (shoulder strengthening and pectoralis minor stretching exercises) groups, and the data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. Results: Paired sample t-test analysis in the kinesiotaping and strengthening group showed a significant result (p=0.000). Independent sample t-test revealed significant differences between groups for right scapular alignment (p=0.000) and left scapular alignment (p=0.035), indicating that adding kinesiotaping significantly improved scapular alignment compared to strengthening and pectoralis minor stretching alone. Conclusion: Both intervention and control groups improved scapular alignment in tailors. However, the intervention group showed a greater effect than control group.

Abstract

Limbah kain merupakan limbah anorganik yang sulit terurai menjadikan permasalahan limbah yang sangat banyak di Indonesia salah satunya di Wilayah Desa Limbangan berada di Wilayah Cilacap Barat pemanfaatan kembali limbah kain merupakan program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh KKN STAI Sufyan Tsauri Majenang tujuan dari pengabdian ini memberikan edukasi dalam pemanfaatan limbah kain perca, untuk menjadi suatu karya yang mampu dibuat oleh masyarakat terutama ibu-ibu. Metode yang digunakan sangat sederhana peralatan pembuatan pouch juga mudah didapat oleh ibu-ibu biasanya, ibu-ibu memilikinya di rumah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai sebuah solusi untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomi serta berpotensi mengurangi pengangguran masyarakat di Desa Limbangan.

Abstract

This research explores the collective influence of school leadership, teacher performance, and a child-centered educational environment on students’ academic success at SD Negeri Dawuhan 03, Sirampog, Brebes. Adopting a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, immersive observations, and document reviews. Participants included school leaders, instructional staff, and learners. The findings suggest that collaborative and reflective leadership practices substantially enhance the educational experience. The principal's role extended beyond administration, acting as a guide and motivator for teacher innovation. Teachers with strong pedagogical skills, continuous engagement in professional learning, and inclusive classroom strategies had a significant positive impact on student learning. Furthermore, the implementation of child-friendly principles such as inclusive spaces, mental health support, and a zero-tolerance policy on bullying was instrumental in maintaining learner engagement and attendance. Despite these efforts, challenges such as limited resources, inadequate supervision during recess, and uneven parental involvement persisted. Ultimately, academic improvement was found to be most successful when leadership, teaching quality, and school climate worked cohesively. The study offers practical implications for policy initiatives aimed at strengthening primary education outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, academic supervision, and school culture on the performance of elementary school teachers in Kangkung District, with work motivation as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using regresion, path analysis and the Sobel test to examine both direct and indirect effects. A total of 141 teachers were selected through simple random sampling. The results indicate that academic supervision and school culture have a significant positive effect on both work motivation and teacher performance, directly and through the mediation of work motivation. School culture emerged as the most influential variable on work motivation. Meanwhile, transformational leadership had a significant negative effect on work motivation and no significant effect on teacher performance, either directly or indirectly. Work motivation was proven to be an effective mediator in strengthening the influence of academic supervision and school culture on teacher performance. This study highlights the importance of work motivation and a positive school environment in improving teacher performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian1ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh fartlek training pada peningkatan daya tahan aerobik dan1daya tahan anaerobik pada1atlit hoki ruangan putra Kota Jogja. Penelitian ini1merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen, dengan1desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu atlit hoki ruangan putra Kota Jogja yang berjumlah 12. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah1bentuk tes. Alat ukur tes lari 2,4 km menggunakan metode Cooper Test guna mengukur daya tahan paru jantung dan1RAST Test guna mengukur daya tahan anaerobik. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan Uji-t, dengan1cara membandingkan hasil pretest dan1posttest pada kelompok eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat dilihat bahwa uji-t antara pretest dan posttest latihan fartlek terhadap1peningkatan daya tahan aerobik yang memiliki nilai t hitung sebesar 4,007 dan nilai t tabel dengan df = 11 pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 2,20. Nilai t hitung sebesar 4,007 > nilai t tabel sebesar 2,20, dan nilai p sebesar 0,002, karena p < 0,05 sehingga ada1perbedaan yang signifikan. Dilihat dari1nilai rata – rata kemampuan daya tahan aerobik, maka diperoleh nilai rata – rata pretest sebesar 12,58 dan nilai rata- rata posttest sebesar 11,31, karena1nilai rata – rata pretest > nilai rata – rata posttest maka terdapat1peningkatan kemampuan daya tahan aerobik sebesar 1,27/ 10,9%. Hasil analisis hipotesis kedua, dilihat bahwa uji-t antara pretest dan1posttest latihan fartlek pada1peningkatan daya tahan anaerobik memiliki nilai t hitung sebesar 22,951 dan1nilai t tabel dengan df 11 pada taraf signifikan 5 % = 2,20. Didapat nilai t hitung sebesar 22,951 > t tabel 2,20, dan nilai p sebesar 0,000, karena p lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka1terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Dilihat dari1nilai rata – rata kemampuan daya tahan anaerobik, maka1diperoleh nilai rata – rata pretest sebesar 305,16 dan rata – rata posttest sebesar 416,03, karena1nilai rata – rata pretest < nilai rata – rata posttest maka terdapat1peningkatan kemampuan daya tahan anaerobik sebesar 110,87/ 36,33 %. Dengan demikian dapat1disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh fartlek training pada peningkatan daya tahan aerobik dan daya tahan anaerobik pada atlit hoki ruangan putra Kota Jogja.   Kata kunci: fartlek training, daya tahan aerobik, dan daya tahan anaerobik.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a series of dramatic events experienced by women, and this can affect them both physically and psychologically. Psychological issues might arise during the prenatal period. The objective of the study was to determine the factors affecting prenatal mental health. The study methods used a cross-sectional with chi square data analysis. The results revealed that pregnancy status affected anxiety, mother's age, pregnancy status, and gestational age affected stress, and mother's age and pregnancy status affected depression.

Abstract

COVID-19 pertama kali ditetapkan sebagai pandemi oleh WHO pada Februari 2020 dan setidaknya sudah menyebar ke 124 negara di dunia. COVID-19 masuk ke Indonesia pada 2 Maret 2020, kemudian menyebar luas di hampir seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Pandemi COVID-19 yang terjadi di Indonesia diprediksi akan mempengaruhi eksistensi sektor pertanian apabila perkembangannya semakin meluas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis kinerja penyuluh pertanian di Provinsi DKI Jakarta selama diberlakukannya Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar; (2) Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja penyuluh pertanian di Provinsi DKI Jakarta selama diberlakukannya Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar; (3) Mengetahui pengaruh antara faktor internal dan eksternal penyuluh pertanian terhadap kinerja penyuluh pertanian selama diberlakukannya Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode kuantitatif dengan eksplanatori. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive) yaitu di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Metode pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sensus. Analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kinerja penyuluh pertanian di Provinsi DKI Jakarta selama diberlakukannya PSBB berada pada kategori baik dengan pelaksanaan dalam kategori cukup dan evaluasi dan pelaporan dalam kategori sangat baik. Kinerja penyuluh pertanian Provinsi DKI Jakarta dipengaruhi oleh umur, masa kerja, pendidikan, pelatihan, ketersediaan sarana prasarana, dan kondisi lingkungan kerja sebesar 52,5%.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi di negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia yaitu kemiskinan. Kabupaten Kebumen merupakan kabupaten termiskin di Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada tahun 201 9 dengan angka kemiskinan 16,82 persen. Kemiskinan mendorong rumah tangga petani untuk menerapkan strategi bertahan hidup. Strategi bertahan hidup merupakan apa usaha seseorang agar dapat beradaptasi dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemiskinan petani, strategi bertahan hidup, serta dampak strategi bertahan hidup terhadap kesejahteraan petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian ditetapkan secara sengaja (purposive) di Desa Sugihwaras Kecamatan Adimulyo Kabupaten Kebumen. Penentuan informan dilakukan secara snowball sampling. Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemiskinan rumah tangga petani ditandai dengan lahan yang sempit, pendapatan yang tidak menentu, dan rata-rata jumlah tanggungan 3-4 orang. Strategi bertahan hidup yang dilakukan petani pemilik penggarap, petani penyewa, petani penyakap, dan buruh tani yaitu strategi on farm, strategi off farm, dan strategi non farm. Dampak strategi bertahan hidup terhadap kesejahteraan petani yaitu hanya dapat mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Education as an important pillar in the progress of a nation is entering a period of increasingly open interaction between entities around the world. The world of education competes to maintain its existence by prioritizing the attractiveness and excellence of each. Schools as quality educational institutions are able to carry out the educational process in accordance with established quality standards or criteria. Quality standards that include inputs, processes and products must be aligned. The research used is descriptive qualitative method. To maintain existence, schools need to market educational services to the community. Parent satisfaction is a very effective strategy in marketing increasingly competitive educational services in Semarang City. SD Pangudi Luhur Bernardus Semarang sees that the marketing strategy through quality can be realized with 7P efforts; product, price, location, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, and process. SD Pangudi Luhur Bernardus Semarang is a quality school because it has excellent human resources, sufficient financing, and adequate facilities. This is one of the advantages possessed by SD Pangudi Luhur Bernardus Semarang as a quality educational institution that is able to answer the needs of the community which has an impact on the PPDB process

Abstract

Education is one of the important sectors that must be considered by the government of developing countries such as Indonesia. The progress of education will not be separated from the role of teachers as the spearhead of education. However, teacher performance can be influenced by several factors, including the principal's leadership, the environment in which teachers work, and their work experience. In addition, the self-efficacy of teachers can also have an influence either directly or as a mediation of other factors. This study aims to examine the effect of leadership, work environment, and work experience on teacher performance with self-efficacy as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational design. The sample used in this study amounted to 292 respondents selected by purposive sampling technique from the population of public junior high school teachers in Temanggung Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires and processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the WarpPLS analysis tool. This study concluded that leadership, work environment, and self-efficacy directly affect teacher performance, while work experience does not directly affect teacher performance. Leadership, work environment, and work experience affect self-efficacy. As for the indirect effect, self-efficacy does not mediate the effect of leadership, work environment, and work experience.
