Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of sunnah qailulah (napping) after learning activities at Pondok Pesantren Modern Ar-Rasyid Pinang Awan, as well as analysing its relevance to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the benefits felt by the students, and the obstacles in its implementation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using field research methods and literature review. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and ustadzah, as well as direct observation of students' daily activities. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using the interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman. The results showed that sunnah qailulah has become a mandatory routine activity in the pesantren environment as a form of practicing hadith values in the lives of students. Most of the santri consistently perform qailulah (70-90%) and experience significant benefits such as increased learning concentration, physical recovery after morning activities, ease in getting up at night for tahajud, and increased learning effectiveness during the day. The qualitative data collected also showed that qailulah has a positive impact on students' health and productivity. However, obstacles such as lack of awareness among some students and weak supervision were still found. Solutions implemented include educational sanctions and strengthened supervision by caregivers and heads of dormitories. This study shows that sunnah qailulah, if implemented with discipline, can contribute to the spiritual, academic, and health of santri.

Abstract

Parit Baru Village, Salatiga District, Sambas Regency, has 7 mosques, 3 prayer rooms, and 5 Buddhist temples. Some houses of worship have recorded their financial statements, but they are not yet in accordance with the Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK-ETAP). SAKETAP is stipulated by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) in ISAK-35 (Interpretation of Financial Accounting Standards) concerning the Presentation of Financial Statements for Non-Profit Entities. Therefore, houses of worship require education and training in mosque financial literacy so they understand and are able to present accountable financial statements. Education and training are carried out through Community Service (PKM) activities in the Public Sector Accounting Study Program. The purpose of the PKM activity is to improve understanding and ability in preparing mosque financial statements. The results of the PKM activity show that there is an increase in knowledge and ability in preparing financial statements according to applicable standards. Before the PKM activity, participants did not fully understand house of worship accounting, because financial recording has only been done in a simple manner. However, after participating in PKM activities, house of worship administrators came to understand the importance of good accounting as a form of accountability to the public. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants who want to learn about the application for compiling financial reports for places of worship that we have provided.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a geotourism-based learning model to enhance students’ understanding of geography concepts and environmental awareness at MAN 1 Bima. The study arose from the low ability of students to connect geographical concepts with real environmental phenomena. The research employed a qualitative approach with a model development design. Participants consisted of 50 individuals, including 45 grade XI social science students and 5 geography teachers. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings revealed that the developed model consists of three main components: field exploration, conceptual reflection, and conservation action. The model effectively increased student engagement, spatial understanding, and environmental awareness, particularly regarding local natural tourism management and disaster mitigation. Therefore, the geotourism-based learning model is recommended as a pedagogical innovation for geography education at the secondary school level.

Abstract

The film Rumah untuk Alie (2025) is an Indonesian family drama that highlights issues of domestic violence, bullying, and the psychological trauma experienced by a teenage girl who is blamed for her mother’s death. This study aims to analyze the representation of trauma and the meaning of “home” in the film through Roland Barthes’ semiotic framework, which consists of three levels of meaning: denotation, connotation, and myth. The research method employs a qualitative-descriptive analysis with data collected from observations of the official trailer, published synopses, promotional materials, media, and media reviews. The findings show that the home functions not merely as a physical space but as a symbolic site of deep trauma for the character Alie. At the denotative level, the home appears as the primary setting for verbal and physical violence perpetrated by her father and brothers. At the connotative level, the home generates metaphorical meanings related to emotional wounds, gendered injustice, and psychological pressure within a patriarchal family structure. At the mythic level, the film deconstructs and critiques cultural assumptions about the home as the safest place and the idealization of the harmonious family. The study concludes that Rumah untuk Alie illustrates how domestic violence becomes embedded through everyday symbols and underscores the necessity of emotional support.
