Abstract

People use technology in this digital era in all activities, this can be seen from the development of industry 5.0 which makes it easier for us to access all the information we need. The aim of this research is to investigate the ICT-Based Learning Media (TikTok) to enhance students' speaking skills at SMP Miftahul Hidayah. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and uses qualitative and quantitative data with instruments in the form of interviews, tests, observations and documentation. Participants in this research were 30 students from 8th grade at SMP Miftahul Hidayah. The findings of this research showed that there was an improvement in English-speaking skills in grade 8 of SMP Miftahul Hidayah, as evidenced by data from the pre-test, post-test cycle 1, and post-test cycle 2. The pre-test result showed that the students' mean score was only 63, and the post-test 1 result showed that the students' mean score was 68, and the post-test 2 result showed that the students' mean score was 75, with 87% of the students passing the standard minimum criteria, indicated a significant improvement in teaching speaking by TikTok as a learning media. Based on the findings of the data analysis that teaching English in the classroom using TikTok as a learning media is capable of improving students' speaking skills.

Abstract

Sharing knowledge in the medical field is crucial as it can enhance patients care quality and accelerate their recovery. An individual's proficiency in technology can motivate them to share their knowledge more extensively. However, medical staff often exhibit low digital literacy, as it is not typically considered a core competency in their careers. This study employed a survey method involving 122 medical staff at a hospital. Data was analyzed using regression testing to verify the influence of digital literacy on the intention to share knowledge. The results indicated that individuals with high digital literacy are more inclined to share their knowledge, benefiting the organization. Additionally, individuals with significant work experience demonstrated lower digital literacy compared to those with moderate experience. Organizations can use this research as a reference to design technology skills training programs that are more accessible to senior employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi pemasaran yang diterapkan SMA Negeri 4 Tapung dalam meningkatkan minat peserta didik baru, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, serta merumuskan solusi strategis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah menerapkan tiga strategi utama, yaitu pemasaran relasional, promosi langsung ke sekolah-sekolah tingkat pertama, dan pemanfaatan media sosial. Namun, strategi tersebut menghadapi beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan anggaran, belum optimalnya pengelolaan media sosial, dan permasalahan dalam implementasi zonasi. Solusi yang direkomendasikan meliputi penguatan kolaborasi dengan masyarakat, pembentukan tim media digital yang kompeten, serta peningkatan koordinasi dan sosialisasi zonasi. Strategi pemasaran yang adaptif diperlukan untuk memperkuat daya saing sekolah negeri dalam menghadapi dinamika dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa serta menawarkan solusi agar teknologi ini dapat dimanfaatkan secara bijak dalam lingkungan akademik. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, di mana berbagai artikel ilmiah dan laporan penelitian terkini dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi pola pengaruh AI terhadap proses berpikir kritis. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AI bersifat ambivalen: di satu sisi, AI dapat menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam mendorong pemikiran reflektif, analitis, dan argumentatif ketika digunakan secara aktif dan didampingi dengan literasi digital yang memadai. Namun di sisi lain, penggunaan AI secara pasif dan instan berpotensi mengurangi motivasi berpikir mandiri, melemahkan kemampuan menyusun argumen, serta menurunkan integritas akademik mahasiswa. Ketergantungan terhadap teknologi dapat menyebabkan degradasi proses kognitif yang seharusnya menjadi inti dari pendidikan tinggi. Untuk itu, artikel ini merekomendasikan strategi seperti penguatan literasi AI, integrasi AI dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah, penggunaan chatbot reflektif, serta evaluasi berbasis proses. Dengan pendekatan yang etis dan pedagogis yang tepat, AI dapat diarahkan menjadi mitra intelektual yang memperkuat daya nalar mahasiswa, bukan sebaliknya.

Abstract

The complexity of the global economy and demands for accountability drive the need for a comprehensive study of financial management strategy typologies that align with the characteristics of Islamic educational institutions and Islamic economic principles. This research aims to identify, classify, and analyze financial management strategy typologies in Islamic educational institutions from an Islamic economic perspective. Effective financial management presents a major challenge for Islamic educational institutions facing global economic complexity and accountability demands, while most still rely on conventional models that have not fully accommodated Islamic values. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA protocol, this research analyzed 6 selected articles from 77,522 articles identified from three major academic databases. The results revealed five typologies of financial management strategies in Islamic educational institutions: (1) pure sharia principles-based that emphasize sharia compliance, maqashid sharia, and justice; (2) audit and accountability-based that focus on legal compliance, transparency, and fraud prevention; (3) governance and professionalism-based that prioritize financial manager competence; (4) management function-based that include planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision; and (5) integration of Islamic values into the education system. Despite showing different characteristics, all typologies aim to achieve financial sustainability while maintaining sharia compliance. This research provides a conceptual framework that can serve as a reference in developing adaptive and contextual financial management models according to the characteristics of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 era and COVID-19 pandemic have accelerated the adoption of digital technology in education, yet Islamic educational institutions face unique challenges in balancing technological modernization with the preservation of authentic Islamic values and scholarly traditions. This research employs the theoretical framework of Resource-Based View (RBV) and the Islamic concept of tawhid to analyze how religious values can serve as strategic resources in creating sustainable competitive advantage through digital technology integration. The objective of this research is to analyze the integration strategy of digital technology with Islamic values in educational innovation and develop an implementation framework to achieve sustainable competitive advantage for Islamic educational institutions. The research utilizes qualitative methods with a library research approach through content analysis and narrative synthesis of international journals, academic books, and current research publications validated through source triangulation from various academic databases. The research findings identify three integration models (content, pedagogical, and systemic), competitive advantage achievement strategies through value-based differentiation and network effects, and a five-dimensional implementation framework (philosophical, structural, operational, evaluative, and adaptive) that can create unique value propositions in learning ecosystems combining spiritual, intellectual, and technological intelligence. The research limitation lies in the library research approach that does not involve empirical validation through case studies or direct implementation in Islamic educational institutions therefore it is recommended to conduct further research with a mixed-method approach that combines theoretical analysis with implementation case studies in various types of Islamic educational institutions to test the effectiveness of the developed framework in diverse practical contexts

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Technology Adoption on Technostress, mediated by Digital Literacy among Indonesian employees. Using a quantitative approach, the study employs path coefficient regression analysis and Sobel test to examine four main hypotheses based on a sample of 188 respondents. The key findings indicate that digital literacy serves as a significant mediator, reducing the negative impact of technology adoption on technostress, the frequency distribution results reveal that the levels of Technology Adoption (TA), Technostress (TS), and Digital Literacy (DL) among Indonesian employees are predominantly within the category of agreement towards technology adoption and having adequate digital literacy. However, employees also exhibit uncertainty regarding technostress. Employees with high digital literacy are capable of managing the complexity of new technologies and can mitigate the psychological pressure associated with intensive technology use.

Abstract

The digital transformation in Indonesia has led to increased technology usage in the workplace, but it has also contributed to rising levels of technostress. This study aims to examine the effect of Technology Adoption on Technostress, with Employability as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), based on data collected from 176 Indonesian workers. The results indicate that both Technology Adoption and Employability have a direct positive impact on Technostress. However, their interaction shows a negative and significant effect, suggesting that Employability moderates and reduces the impact of Technology Adoption on Technostress. In conclusion, Employability plays a crucial role in helping workers manage technological pressure, highlighting the importance of enhancing digital skills and adaptability in the modern workforce.

Abstract

Amidst increasing guest expectations for accommodation cleanliness and comfort, the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) in housekeeping services has become a crucial aspect in the hospitality industry. Good guest room cleanliness not only enhances comfort but also strengthens an accommodation's image and reputation. One example of an accommodation that implements a room cleaning SOP is Palm Homestay Kuta Lombok. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the SOP for guest room cleaning at Palm Homestay Kuta Lombok, evaluate the extent to which the SOP is implemented, and identify problems encountered and possible solutions for improvement. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted directly in the field to assess how the room cleaning SOP is implemented, while interviews were conducted with housekeeping staff and management to obtain their perspectives on obstacles and solutions encountered in the cleaning process. The documentation collected includes written SOPs and supervisory notes conducted by management. Based on the research results, the implementation of the room cleaning SOP at Palm Homestay Kuta Lombok can be said to be running quite well. However, several obstacles remain, such as inappropriate placement of amenities, inconsistent dusting methods, and limited cleaning equipment. These obstacles can impact the quality of room cleaning and guest comfort. Although improvements have been made, such as regular supervision and more consistent use of cleaning equipment, employee training still needs to be maximized. As a solution, this study recommends optimizing the budget allocation for employee training, with the aim of improving staff skills and understanding of the implemented SOPs.

Abstract

Character education is an important component and has a great influence on the success of religious activities. The purpose of this study is to describe the management of student character education in increasing religious values through the study of the book of morals lil banin. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. In the data collection technique, the researcher uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn, as well as validity test using data triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the study, it shows that; 1) Character education planning includes planning vision and mission, preparation of work programs, the formation of a schedule for the implementation of each activity, as well as the division of structure and job description; 2) The implementation of character education at the Bait Et-Tauhied Islamic Boarding School has carried out various religious character formation programs. This is evidenced through several coaches carried out, namely examples, training, taking lessons, giving advice, and providing rewards and punishments; 3) Supervision of character education at the Bait Et-Tauhied Islamic Boarding School, including supervising students, guiding students in the implementation of activities, conducting evaluation meetings; 4) The values of religious character through the study of the book of Morality Lil Banin which are instilled in the Bait Et-Tauhied Islamic Boarding School are as follows: (a) Morality to Allah, (b) Respect for both parents, (c) Respect for teachers and friends, (d) Patience in learning and discussion, and (e) Honesty.
