Abstract

Milk pudding-making training is one of the solutions to improve the skills of the Kemiri Village community in processing fresh cow's milk into value-added products, especially milk pudding. The method employed was a two-day interactive training session involving groups of mothers in the village, where participants were taught pudding-making techniques, the selection of high-quality ingredients, and marketing strategies. The results of the training showed an increase in the community's knowledge and skills in processing milk, which has the potential to increase their income. This study concludes that through this training, the community can not only optimally utilise local resources but also create new, sustainable business opportunities and improve the economic welfare of families in Kemiri Village. Abstract

Used cooking oil is a household waste often thrown away, which can damage the environment and endanger health. This community service activity was carried out in Kemiri Village to educate young people about using used cooking oil to make environmentally friendly aromatherapy candles. The method used was interactive discussion and direct presentation so that participants not only understood the theory but were also able to spread the candle-making independently. The activity results indicated that participants were highly enthusiastic and actively engaged in the discussion. In addition to increasing awareness of the value of waste management, this activity created chances for small businesses based on recycled goods to grow. We expect this education, which uses household waste, to inspire the village youth to be more environmentally conscious and creative. Abstract

Rice plants are one of the leading commodities in Bojonegoro Regency and become a rice producing area in East Java. This observe objectives to determine the competitiveness of rice farming in Bojonegoro Regency. The willpower of the sample region of the district in Bojonegoro Regency is done deliberately through choosing the sample area of the district that has the most important amount of rice production in Bojonegoro Regency. This study used more than one stage of sampling called multistage random sampling. The Data used are primary data and secondary data. The records evaluation used is the policy analysis Matrix (PAM) version. The results showed that rice farming in Bojonegoro is feasible because it has competitive advantages and comparative advantages. This is evidenced by the average value of PCR and DRCR is worth less than 1. PCR value of 0.67 while the DRCR value of 0.58. Thus, it can be concluded that rice farming in Bojonegoro Regency shows excellent performance, both in terms of competitiveness in the market and the efficiency of domestic resource use. This shows that Bojonegoro Regency has positive indicators for the sustainability and development potential of the sector in the future. Therefore,  government and farmers must maintain and improve the competitiveness of rice farming in order to obtain maximum profits.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of marketing mix that are product (X1), price (X2), place (X3), promotion (X4), people (X5), process (X6), and physical evidence (X7) towards costumer’s interest in buying (Y) at Petromart Gresik. Sample is determined with purposive sampling method and 50 Petromart Gresik’s customers are used as respondents. The analysis method in this study is Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The result shows that product (X1), price (X2), place (X3), process (X6), and physical evidence (X7) have positive and significant effect on consumers’ interest in buying, but promotion (X4) and people (X5) do not have significant effect on consumers’ interest of buying at Petromart Gresik

Abstract

Mushrooms are one of the many plant commodities consumed and cultivated by Indonesian people. Crispy mushroom is a processed product of UMKM KWT Sri Rejeki which is in great demand by consumers. This production activity continues to experience development by facing various kinds of obstacles that occur, one of which is in the packaging process where the packaged mushrooms release residual frying oil so that they require Appropriate Technology (TTG) in the form of a spinner or oil drainer. So that KKN-T Group 29 students from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur, designed a tool to help UMKM KWT Sri Rejeki drain the oil in the crispy mushrooms so that they are of higher quality. This tool assembly activity was carried out by KKN-T Group 29 students with several tools and materials that were easily available and affordable.

Abstract

Kecamatan Wonosalam, Jombang, dikenal sebagai salah satu wilayah terbesar dalamproduksi buah durian dan dikenal dengan kampung durian wonosalam, KabupatenJombang. Namun, dampak negatif dari keberadaan kampung durian di wilayahWonosalam adalah penumpukan limbah kulit durian yang berjumlah besar. Untukmengatasi permasalahan ini, diperlukan inovasi dalam pengelolaan limbah kulit duriandengan melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat secara luas. Dalam rangka mengatasipermasalahan penumpukan limbah kulit durian yang tinggi, dilakukan kegiatanpengabdian masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat dalam hal ini adalahmemberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada petani cara mengolah limbah kulitdurian menjadi briket. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di kediaman ketua kelompok taniRT/RW 12/14, Dusun Sumber Wetan, Desa Wonosalam, Kecamatan Wonosalam,Jombang. Dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat Tanggal 18 Agustus 2023. Peserta yangdiikutsertakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah kelompok tani Sumber Wetan. Adapun metodepelaksanaan kerja yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dalam bentuk FocusGroup Discussion (FGD), dan ceramah/penyuluhan. Hasil kegiatan ini melibatkanbeberapa tahapan, mulai dari berkoordinasi dengan masyarakat setempat, sosialisasimengenai dampak negatif penumpukan sampah kulit durian, pelatihan untukmemberikan keterampilan kepada masyarakat, hingga penyusunan laporan danpenyebarluasan hasil pengabdian melalui publikasi ilmiah. Selain memberikan dampakpositif terhadap kebersihan lingkungan, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini jugaberkontribusi pada pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat setempat, mendorong merekauntuk mandiri dan memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan melalui penguasaan keterampilaninovatif dalam pembuatan biobriket ramah lingkungan dari limbah kulit durian diwilayah Wonosalam, Jombang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi petani dan peran pendamping terhadap digitalisasi pertanian durian di Kecamatan Wonosalam, Kabupaten Jombang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel laten. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 85 Responden petani durian di Kecamatan Wonosalam Kabupaten Jombang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi petani memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap adopsi digitalisasi pertanian, sementara peran pendamping tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap digitalisasi pertanian, tetapi secara signifikan memengaruhi persepsi petani. Dengan demikian, pendampingan yang efektif dapat membentuk persepsi positif petani terhadap teknologi digital, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan adopsi teknologi tersebut. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar program penyuluhan dan pelatihan teknologi digital bagi petani diperkuat untuk mempercepat proses digitalisasi di sektor pertanian.

Abstract

The main objective of this journal is to gain an understanding of how Asmaraloka MSMEs utilize marketing channels and margins as well as competitive marketing strategies to develop their business. The research method used is primary and secondary research methods. The results ofthe study show that the marketing channel for coffee products is included in the second level marketing channel which includes producers who refer to coffee farmers, suppliers and consumers. Asmaraloka is one of the marketing agencies that acts as a supplier that distributes coffee products from producers to consumers and is a marketing agency that has the largest margin share, amounting to IDR 718,000.00. Asmaraloka's marketing strategy is to build close relationships with large communities in the Surabaya area to expand their market share.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the suitability of service activity activities with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to analyze the influence of infrastructure, professionalism of workers, and speed of service on service quality according to service users, as well as formulate efforts to improve service quality at RPH Banyumulek, West Lombok Regency. The data used in this study are primary data from field observations and interviews with the help of questionnaires and secondary data from Banyumulek RPH and other studies. The samples used were 30 service users. Methods of analysis using descriptive qualitative and SEM-PLS. The results showed that 88.9% of service activities were by the SOP, so they were at a high level of compliance. Of the three variables analyzed, infrastructure and service speed positively and significantly affect the service quality of Banyumulek RPH services. Meanwhile, the variable of worker professionalism has no significant impact on service quality according to service users.

Abstract

Disseminating innovation to farmers is the role and function of agricultural extension workers so that farmers are ready to adopt and apply agricultural technology in their farming activities to increase farmers' income and welfare. Based on these problems, researchers want to analyze the role of agricultural extension workers in the process of adopting farmer innovations in agricultural development. This study aims to understand the implementation of counseling in the field. In addition, the results of this study are to find out what roles exist in agricultural extension workers. Data collection techniques were used by distributing questionnaires to respondents and data analysis techniques using the method of determining respondents by distributing questionnaires consisting of questions grouped based on the role of agricultural extension workers and data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative. The results showed that there were several roles of agricultural extension agents in the innovation adoption process, namely as a facilitator, as an innovator, as an educator, as a communicator, and as a motivator. It was found that the recapitulation of the role of agricultural extension workers scored 83.74% in the very agree category from the respondents. With that, it can be interpreted that agricultural extension agents can play a very good role in carrying out their duties in the innovation adoption process.
