Abstract

This research is based on the problems that exist in SMPN 13 Padang, namely the learning model that is less varied, students learning abilities are still low, teacher-centered learning. The effort that can be done to apply the scramble learning model with science literacy in the human respiratory system at SMPN 13. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of applying the scramble learning model with scientific literacy on the learning competencies of grade VIII students of SMP 13 Padang. This research was an experimental research with a randomized control group posttest only design. The study population was grade VIII students of SMP 13 Padang in the 2018/2019 academic year which spread to eight classes. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling. The results were selected class VIII.3 as the experimental class and class VIII.2 as the control class. The hypothesis in this study was tested using the t-test. The results of the study using the t-test can be concluded that the competency of students knowledge about the value of tcount 2.83> ttable 1.67, the competency attitudes of tcount 5.77> ttable 1.67, and competency skills of tcount 1.91> ttable 1.67. This point that the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of the scramble learning model with scientific literacy can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of grade VIII students of SMP 13 Padang. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini didasarkan pada permasalahan yang ada di SMPN 13 Padang, yaitu model pembelajaran yang kurang beragam, kemampuan belajar siswa masih rendah, pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru. Perlu upaya untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran dengan orientasi literasi sains dalam sistem pernapasan manusia di SMPN 13. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dampak penerapan model pembelajaran dengan literasi sains terhadap kompetensi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP 13 Padang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan randomized control group posttest only design. Populasi dalam studi ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP 13 Padang pada tahun akademik 2018/2019 yang menyebar ke delapan kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil yang dipilih adalah kelas VIII. 3 sebagai kelas eksperimental dan kelas VIII. 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hipotesis dalam studi ini diuji menggunakan t-Test. Hasil penelitian menggunakan t-Test dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi siswa dengan nilai t-hitung 2,83 > t-tabel 1,67, kompetensi sikap dengan t-hitung5,77 > t-table 1,67, dan keterampilan dengan t-hitung 1,91 > t-tabel 1,67. Dengan demikian hipotesis alternative diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran dengan literasi sains dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan siswa kelas VIII SMP 13 Padang.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which the pancreas no longer produces insulin properly, and results in an increase in glucose in the blood. Treatment using synthetic drugs is expensive, therefore some people use plants as medicine. One of them is the people of Sijunjung District, in this area traditional medicine is used to treat diabetes mellitus. This research was conducted from April to June 2021 using direct enumeration and interviews. Data was collected by means of in-depth interviews with key informants, namely traditional healers in every village and people who suffer from diabetes mellitus. The results showed that 43 types of plants belonging to 32 families have the potential as drugs for diabetes mellitus. The families that are often used as diabetes mellitus drugs by the people of Sijunjung District are the Asteraceae and Lamiaceae families. The plant organ that is most often used as a medicine for diabetes mellitus is the leaf. The way of processing the plant organs is boiled, pounded, squeezed, roasted and dried. How to use plants there are eaten and drunk. Most of the status of medicinal plants used are cultivated plants.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of social media promotions on purchasing decisions at Jetiga Ala Cafe. This research uses quantitative methods, with non-probability sampling techniques and sampling using accidental sampling. The population in this study was 188 cafe-style Jetiga Instagram followers with a sample size of 128 respondents used in this study. Based on the data obtained, the calculated t value is 10.196 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that social media promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and based on the coefficient of determination test, the R Square value is 0.452 or 45.2% of the purchasing decision variable. influenced by social media promotions while the rest is influenced by other factors not discussed in this research.

Abstract

Husband and wife have different characteristics and are difficult to reconcile; these differences in characteristics can lead to conflict in the household. One of the factors that causes conflict in the household is that communication is not going well. This research focuses on the communication patterns of husband and wife in resolving family conflicts from the perspective of Islamic family law. To answer this problem, research was carried out using the literature study method. The first step was identifying relevant library sources, including books, scientific journals, articles, theses and other publications. These sources are evaluated based on the content's reliability, legitimacy, and novelty. Next, the researcher synthesizes findings from various sources to draw comprehensive conclusions. The research results identify five key factors shaping communication patterns in Muslim marital relationships: integration of religious teachings, religious commitment, gender role expectations, cultural influences, and application of religious principles in conflict resolution, especially Shariah law. Integrating these elements is essential for fostering healthy commu-nication and strengthening marital bonds.

Abstract

This research is driven by a need to gain insight into the key roles that effective leadership plays in achieving optimal performance within teams. In order to fully comprehend the dynamics of team leadership, it is essential to have a robust theoretical and conceptual framework in place. This understanding will help us to identify the factors that influence team performance, and in particular, the role that effective communication, positive feedback, rewards and recognition, and the creation of a supportive work environment plays in motivating teams. In addition, it is vital to consider the key factors that influence the performance of high-functioning teams, which include elements such as team trust, collaboration, effective communication, and leader support. This research employs the methodology of a literature study to ascertain the role of leadership in organizations. In conclusion, team leadership plays an essential role in achieving effective team performance in organizations. By developing a robust theoretical and conceptual framework, leaders can cultivate the practical and strategic insights necessary to lead teams effectively. Effective leaders influence team performance motivation, manage conflict, build cooperation, and create a supportive work environment. The significance of effective team performance is also evidenced by the key factors that influence great team performance. In practice, leaders must be able to apply these insights in a practical manner in order to achieve the desired results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar, peserta didik kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, masih terfokus pada guru, dan peserta didik sulit memahami konsep pada materi pembelajaran biologi. Tujuan peneltian untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan Team Game Tournament (TGT) dan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimen semu/quasi exsperimental dengan desain Randomized Control-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas eksperimen I (X.7) dengan 35 peserta didik dan kelas eksperimen II (X.2) dengan 37 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes dengan analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan uji Independent Sample T-Test dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai selisih antara posttest dan pretest yaitu α = 0,05 lebih besar daripada Sig (2-tailed) atau (0,05 > 0,006) Artinya H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian berarti terdapat perbedaan yang berarti hasil belajar peserta didik antara penerapan model pembelajaran TGT dengan PBL dimana berdasarkan nilai N-Gain ditemukan bahwa kelas eksperimen I yaitu, 24,55% lebih baik dari pada kelas eksperimen II yaitu, 11,1% pada materi perubahan lingkungan di MAN 3 Padang.

Abstract

Education is a deliberate and unintentional effort to facilitate students in realizing their abilities to become professionals. The application of the learning process with the right techniques will achieve educational goals. Learning media can help the learning process to make it easier for educators to convey information. Learning media that are in accordance with the needs of learning activities will create effective and efficient learning activities. Developing booklets can be one of the effective and efficient learning media to attract students' interest and motivation in the learning process. Booklets contain pictures, outlines or interesting data that can support students' understanding who may interpret the material introduced by the teacher. The purpose of this literature review is to determine the effectiveness or feasibility of booklets that can be used in the learning process. The literature review includes 10 articles published in 2017-2023 that meet the criteria for research objectives. The results of the study show that booklets that can be used in the learning process are booklets that have valid or very valid criteria. Thus, the booklet can attract interest and motivation and understanding of students in the learning process

Abstract

Introduction: The potential of Waqf is vast in Indonesia but has yet to be optimized. This paper offers a model for waqf institutions to adopt financial technology to develop Waqf for Muhammadiyah organizations. Later, the Crowdfunding waqf model (CWM) was validated by adopting the technology acceptance model (TAM) theory. Methods: This research adopts a structural equation using the partial least square approach to test the hypothesis. Based on purposive sampling, 568 questionnaires were distributed through an online survey to Generation Z Muhammadiyah. Results: Based on the findings, the Crowdfunding waqf model's perceived benefits and ease of use positively impact waqf institution trust and crowdfunder or donor behavioral intention. Furthermore, the results also found that literacy and religiosity significantly positively affect crowdfunding behavioral intentions in Waqf. Conclusion and suggestion: The results of this study provide a comprehensive perspective for policymakers, especially Muhammadiyah organizations, to improve quality by adopting crowdfunding financial technology in raising waqf funds. Finally, this paper offers additional literature on Waqf and Crowdfunding, particularly in the context of religious organizations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keekfetivan model pembelajaran blended-learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaf eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design dengan lokasi penelitian di SMPN 16 Kab. Sorong. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dengan isntrumen soal uraina, dan teknik Observasi dengan instrument Lembar Observasi Keterlaksanaan Pembelajaran. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test dan Uji N – gain score. Hasil penelitian bahwa nilai rata – rata post – test sebesar 3,055 dan pre – test sebesar 3,198. Dengan demikian nilai post – test > pre – test. Berdasarkan kualifikasi kemapuan pemecahan masalah matematika, maka tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik tergolong rendah karena mean 24,83 < 54,99. Selanjutnya hasiln N-gain score adalah 0,14 dan niliai minimumnya adalah 0,03. Sedangkan nilai maximum dari n – gain persen adalah 14,29 dan nilai minimumnya adalah 2,50. Selain itu diketahui juga bahwa nilai rata – rata N – gain score adalah sebesar 0,0824 yang masuk dalam kategori rendah karena nilai g < 0,3 dan N- gain persen sebesar 8,2442 atau 8,24% yang masuk pada kategori tafsiran tidak efektif karena nilai persentase yang dihasilkan < 40%. Dari hasil uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran blended – learning tidak efektif terhadap kemapuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada peserta didik kelas VII di SMPN 16 Kab. Sorong.

Abstract

Electronic vehicles (EV) are not only an alternative for fossil fuel cars to reduce the rate of air pollution but also as a strategy to expand market share in Indonesia. This research aims to analyse the Wuling Air EV product strategy in attracting consumer to purchasing the electric cars. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. Research data comes from search results in various digital databases and official publications. The research results show that the success of Wuling Air EV sales cannot be separated from the implementation of an omnichannel marketing strategy (offline and online) to attract consumer interest in electric vehicles. The omnichannel marketing strategy implemented involves various channels, both online or social media and directly through car shows or at dealers. This makes Wuling Motors take the opportunity, apart from intensifying promotions at dealers, offline exhibitions or car auto shows, but to utilize online marketing Wuling collaborating with car reviewers and influencers, providing options for purchasing or booking via e-commerce, and provide a home test-drive simply through the application. In this way, Wuling Indonesia has a goal of being able to create a touch point with the public regarding electronic vehicles (EV) both offline and online.
