Abstract

The learning process at the elementary school level is still dominated by conventional approaches that are repetitive and lack participation and tolerance of students. In this context, the integration of game-based learning media (games) as a strategic alternative that has the potential to increase participation and tolerance that is relevant to the progress of the times. This study aims to describe the use of educational games in Civic Education (PKn) learning as an effort to increase participation and tolerance of elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at SDI Miftahul Huda Tongas, Probolinggo. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of the Princip, teachers and fourth grade students involved in game-based PKn learning. These results indicate that the game-based learning approach not only makes the learning atmosphere more enjoyable, but also strengthens the formation of national character in accordance with the objectives of the PKn subject at the elementary school level. The increase in participation includes: students answering questions from 30% after the game increased to 80%, group discussions from 40% to 85%, student enthusiasm from 35% to 90%, Cooperation with friends from 40% to 80%, sportsmanship and tolerance with friends from 40% to 80%. While in increasing tolerance, respecting friends from 40% to 80%, respecting opinions from 40% to 80%, reducing conflict from 35% to 85%, openness to cooperation from 40% to 85%, not being selfish from 40% to 80%.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menyoroti efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi Wordwall sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Arab siswa kelas III di MI Miftahul Huda Sepuh Gembol, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Dalam konteks pendidikan yang semakin berkembang, terutama dengan kemajuan teknologi, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab yang sering kali terkesan kaku dan tradisional. Program pengabdian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif digunakan untuk memahami transformasi pembelajaran melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, pengalaman positif siswa dalam menggunakan Wordwall menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik dan interaktif, sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan mereka. Dengan demikian, program pengabdian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Wordwall tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, tetapi juga dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan menyenangkan. Diperkirakan, penerapan media interaktif ini dapat menjadi inovasi yang bermanfaat bagi pendidik dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab di sekolah-sekolah berbasis Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of process assessment for children with special needs (ABK) in mathematics learning at Permata IT Elementary School. The study focuses on the application of authentic assessment strategies that emphasize not only final results but also stages of thinking, levels of participation, and the development of students' cognitive and affective abilities. This study used a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, teacher interviews, and analysis of assessment documents. The results indicate that process assessment provides a more comprehensive picture of the learning outcomes of children with special needs because it highlights individual development according to each child's characteristics. Teachers play a central role in designing and implementing adaptive and flexible assessment instruments to suit students' learning needs. Furthermore, the implementation of process assessment has been shown to support a more inclusive, participatory, and humane learning environment. The implications of this study demonstrate the importance of improving teacher competency in developing process-based assessment instruments, as well as the need for school institutional support in providing facilities and infrastructure that support learning oriented toward holistic student development.

Abstract

Penanaman karakter disiplin pada peserta didik melalui mata pelajaran Al-Qur'an Hadist di Al – Quranul Hakim Kota Probolinggo merupakan upaya penanaman untuk membentuk kepribadian dan sikap peserta didik yang bertanggung jawab dan teratur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari penanaman karakter disiplin dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam, dengan fokus pada penguatan kemandirian, peningkatan prestasi akademik, dan pengembangan etika serta moral. Melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan ajaran Al-Qur'an dan Hadist, peserta didik diajarkan untuk mematuhi aturan, menjalankan ibadah dengan konsisten, dan mengembangkan sikap tanggung jawab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman karakter disiplin secara signifikan meningkatkan kemandirian peserta didik dalam mengelola waktu dan tugas, serta memperbaiki prestasi akademik mereka. Selain itu, peserta didik mengalami penguatan dalam aspek etika dan moral, yang berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter positif dan kemampuan sosial yang baik. Namun, penelitian juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan, seperti potensi tekanan berlebih dan keterbatasan kreativitas yang mungkin timbul akibat penerapan disiplin yang kaku.

Abstract

understands each other, complements each other, and provides freedom of opinion for the sake of mutual progress, of course it will make a company or institution a second home for its citizens, but if a leader in a company or an institution not playing a good role will certainly be a setback and destruction for the institution. Transformational leadership is the most common leadership model chosen by company or institutional leaders. This research uses qualitative methods and literature studies, the aim of this research is to gain a better understanding of the concept of transformational leadership and organizational effectiveness at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Probolinggo City. And the result is that the Principal always motivates teachers to improve their performance, including holding educational seminars, freedom of opinion for the sake of school progress, collaborating with teachers so that students become better and the school also progresses.

Abstract

Religious education is very important for all human beings, especially as Muslims, we must be able to read the holy book of Islam. There are various methods for reading the Al-Qur'an from year to year, one of which is the Qiroati Method, which is a way to read and understand the Al-Quran. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, interactive analysis is a data analysis technique that uses data reduction processes, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The reading method with Qiro'ati must be someone who is Qiro'ati certified, the model used is classical teaching tools, the material contained in the Qiroati book is volumes 1-6. The results of this research show that the Qiroati method uses the rules of reading directly without ejaculation, namely Smooth, fast, accurate, correct and acidic, the Qiro'ati method can develop interest in reading the Koran in elementary school students

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent of the contribution of parents' professions to the formation of students' religious character at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nizamul Islam Probolinggo. Because currently there are more and more phenomena showing that parents have various professions but often forget about the educational process which has implications for the formation of religious character. A qualitative approach is used by researchers because it explores information naturally from phenomena that occur in the field. Data collection was obtained through interviews with informants and Miles & Huberman data analysis was carried out which included three activity streams, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The conclusions from this research show that parents' professions have a huge impact on the formation of students' religious character. The religious character possessed by students is formed from the example of parents in carrying out daily Islamic teachings, familiarizing themselves with morals, and providing educational rewards for children, thereby creating motivation to always do good.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using number bags in improving students'understanding of place value material in class II MI Bustanul Ulum Tempuran. By usingquantitative methods and involving 14 students as the population, data were collected throughtests and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using pretest, posttest, normality test,and N gain test using SPSS 21.0 software. The research results show a significant improvementin material understanding, with an average pretest score of 41.4286 and a posttest score of78.5714. However, the significance of the pretest at 0.208 and the posttest at 0.352 indicatesthat there is still room for further improvement in the effectiveness of using number bags in thiscontext.

Abstract

This research applies Qualitative Field Research, in this case there are several stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and data analysis stages. The reason the author made the journal "Application of Parental Authoritarian Parenting to Student Learning Achievement at MIS Raudlatul Hasan Wonomerto" was because he wanted to expand knowledge about authoritarian parenting which according to some people has many disadvantages than advantages. Because according to the author authoritarian parenting is also good in its application to educate children. 1st grade students of MIS Raudlatul Hasan Wonomerto in the 2022-2023 academic year, which numbered 21 students. There are several ways of collecting data, namely starting from observation, documentation and conducting questionnaires or questionnaires. Then the researcher makes a reduction by taking the necessary data and then the data is collected to be analyzed to get the results of the research that has been done. In the results of the study it can be concluded that, the Application of Parental Authoritarian Parenting on student learning achievement can have a good and bad effect on children. Because children also need affection from parents, children who are too restrained will show a rebellious spirit. But as parents must also understand what children need and want, because sometimes even though according to parents authoritarian parenting is good for children sometimes children want the opposite.
