Abstract

In 2017 there were 48,300 HIV cases in Indonesia and 9,280 AIDS cases. The cumulative AIDS cases in 1987-2017 were 102,667 cases, with the number of AIDS infections in housewives reaching 14,721 cases. The development of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Indonesia since 2000 has continued to increase. Responding to these problems, it is necessary to prevent HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this study was to find out what factors were related to HIV/AIDS prevention behavior in Jatijajar Village, the working area of the Bergas Health Center, Semarang Regency in 2019. This is a quantitative research with correlational design. Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling is applied. Chi-square  test shows there are relationships between the variables of education level (p-value 0.006), knowledge (p-value 0.027), attitude (p-value 0.007), and husband's support (p-value 0.006) with HIV/AIDS prevention behavior. There is no relationship between age (p-value 0.616) and husband's occupation (p-value 0.161) with HIV/AIDS prevention behavior among housewives in Jatijajar Village in 2019. There are relationships between education level, knowledge, attitude, and husband's support with HIV/AIDS prevention behavior in housewives. The variables most related to the HIV/AIDS prevention behavior variable were the level of education and husband's support.  Knowledge of housewives about HIV/AIDS prevention needs to be increased, one of which is through socialization by health centers and other institutions related to HIV/AIDS to create healthy housewives.

Abstract

The process of labor through which the mother gives rise to the muscles due to the process of contraction, pain, and straining at the time of labor. Labor process cause muscle tension. Tension in the muscles that causes pain that requires the mother's help after delivery. Delayed onset muscle soreness DOMS is discomfort and pain in the muscles that result in a decrease in muscle strength, decreased joint motion (LGS) and damage to muscle tissue. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving Water Kinetic Treatment to the reduction of DOMS in gastrocnemius muscle. This study was a two-group pre and post-test design that aims to find out how much influence the Water Kinetic Treatment has on reducing DOMS in normal postpartum, Water Kinetic Treatment is given 12 hours after normal parturition. Respondents were selected from the first postpartum gravida maternal patient with no complications after the normal parturition at salatiga Hospital which were for each group 6 mothers. Mothers wa given treatment for 4 days. Data were analyzed using paired t-test and independent t-test. Provision of Water Kinetic Treatment 12 hours after normal parturition did not affect the reduction in DOMS before and after the intervention (p 0.05), but there was a significant influence between the group given water kinetic treatment therapy and the group that was not given to decrease DOMS (p 0.05). There was a significant effect on the group given water kinetic treatment compared to the group not treated for a decrease in pain scale and increased muscle strength for 4 days of treatment.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy is a condition in pregnant women with hemoglobin levels less than 10.5 g% in the second trimester . Prevention of anemia during pregnancy is done by administering tablets Fe for 90 days at a dose of 60 mg . Each tablet contains 320 mg of FeSO4 (iron 60 mg ) and 500 mg of folic acid . Pregnant women besides taking iron tablets, needs to be supported with nutritional patterns which contain some necessary intermediate in the synthesis of hemoglobin . Seaweed ( Eucheuma sp ) is one of the few foods that contain the necessary intermediate in the synthesis of hemoglobin such as iron , protein danvitamin B complex . Objective To analyze the effect of the consumption of seaweed ( Eucheuma sp ) to increased levels of hemoglobin and anemia maternal Fe status. Research Method T-test dependent and independent T -test . Hb measurements using measuring instruments and measurement Hemoque Fe status indicators TIBC Ferritin using measuring instruments . Results The study was conducted on 30 respondents consisting of a control group ( tablets Fe ) and the experimental group ( Seaweeds and tablets Fe ) . Average hemoglobin levels in pregnant women who consume seaweed when the pretest was 9.373 g / dl , mean Hb level when post-test was 10.847 grams / dl . Average iron status in pregnant women who consume seaweed when the pretest was 14.238 ng / ml , the average Fe status when the posttest was 25.530 ng / ml . The results of the independent t- test found no effect of the consumption of seaweed ( Eucheuma sp ) to increased levels of Hb with ρ value of 0.004 . Results of Mann-Whitney test found no effect of the consumption of seaweed ( Eucheuma sp ) to the increase in iron status . Conclusion The provision of seaweed jelly mempegaruhi significantly elevated levels of Hb and no effect on the improvement of iron status .
