The tradition and local wisdom of the Bugis fishermen's community in the management of Lake Tempe is a visible social reality (phenomenon) in the form of a set of customs called Ade' Assamaturuseng. The purpose of this study is to reveal the meaning (noumena) of the actions of Bugis fishermen in the use of Lake Tempe as a visible reality (phenomena) based on customary local prohibitions called Ade' Assamaturuseng (customs that are obeyed together). The research method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach to the perspective of Alfred Schurtz. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research show that the prohibitions in the Ade' Assamaturuseng custom are the background contexts (because of the motives) for the actions or behavior of fishermen in utilizing Lake Tempe. These actions or behaviors have objective motives (in order motives) so that they contain meaning as in the statements of the research subjects about the custom. In Schurtz's phenomenological perspective, the meaning of fishermen's actions based on the customary prohibitions of Ade' Assamaturuseng, among others; (1) Means as a conservation effort; (2) Means social justice; (3) Meaning as the practice of belief and religion. From the findings, it can be understood that the traditions and local wisdom of Bugis fishermen in the management of Lake Tempe contain the dimensions of values in environmental conservation, togetherness (justice), and culture comprehensively. It can be seen that the behavior of the Bugis fishing community is very respectful of the natural environment as part of their lives and realizes the use of Lake Tempe sustainably and equitably.

Settlements are one of the fundamental necessities of life. The functions of settlements go far beyond just providing a place for rest and shelter. Settlements serve as spaces where social interactions occur, relationships between individuals and groups develop, and community identities are formed. Ngagelrejo is located in the densely populated Wonokromo district of Surabaya, and despite its high population density, it is an area that is in great demand for residential purposes. When considering land ownership status, the entire area consists of land without citizen ownership titles, commonly referred to as "surat ijo" or green certificates. The purpose of this research is to understand the reasons why people choose to reside in densely populated areas. The research methodology employed is a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Triangulation and in-depth interviews were conducted to ensure the validity of the data. The results of the study indicate that the choice of living in a densely populated area is primarily influenced by strong family and friendship bonds. The location of the residence is relatively close to workplaces, providing convenience and compatibility with the surroundings. Additionally, the price of land in this area is lower compared to other areas in the city of Surabaya.

One of the main challenges in learning cultural geography is to develop a deep understanding of cultural diversity and creative ability in analyzing and describing the relationship between humans and their environment. This study investigates the effect of the field trip-based project-based learning (PjBL) learning model on students’ creative thinking ability and cultural literacy in a Cultural Geography course. The research design used is a comparative experimental design in three different groups. The subjects in this study were students majoring in Geography at Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM) in the 3rd (odd) semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample was selected purposively (purpose sampling) based on the same academic ability characteristics of the population. The collected data will be analyzed using the ANACOVA test statistical method. The results showed that the 2-tailed significance level (Sig.) was 0.000, far below the generally accepted alpha level (α=0.05) which indicated a significant difference in the use of the PjBL model, the PjBL-field trip (PjBL-FT) model, and the conventional learning model in improving creativity and cultural literacy skills. The considerable difference in the mean post-test scores underscores the effectiveness of field trip-based project-based learning (PjBL-FT) in improving creative skills. The results imply that this model can be used to create innovative learning so that it can make a good contribution to learning.

Latar Belakang: Urgensi pelaksanaan program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya angka pernikahan anak di desa Tanammawang, yang sering kali menimbulkan masalah psikologis, konflik rumah tangga, hingga perceraian. Tujuan: Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis dan emosional ibu-ibu korban pernikahan anak usia dini serta mengurangi risiko perceraian, sehingga memberikan dampak positif bagi komunitas di Desa Tanammawang. Metode: Dalam pelaksanaan program ini, metode yang dilakukan mencakup pelatihan secara langsung dan konseling pasca nikah yang mengadopsi pendekatan mindful self-compassion. Hasil: Berdasarkan pelaksanaan program, terdapat tiga hasil utama yang dicapai: (1) peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis mitra, (2) penurunan keinginan untuk bercerai, serta (3) peningkatan keterampilan hidup dan ketahanan keluarga. Kesimpulan: Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan konseling berbasis mindful self-compassion efektif dalam membantu ibu-ibu meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan memperkuat hubungan keluarga, sehingga dapat berperan dalam menurunkan dampak negatif pernikahan anak usia dini.

Urbanization and rapid development in Makassar City have led to habitat fragmentation, affecting the sustainability of avian species in the area. This study aims to understand the carrying capacity of private green spaces (RTH) in preserving avian species in Makassar City. The results indicate a moderate diversity index, with 19 bird species identified. The Eurasian Tree Sparrow and Sooty-headed Bulbul are the most common species, but species distribution is even, suggesting that no species significantly dominates. These findings indicate that despite urbanization pressures, private RTH remains an important habitat for birds. Endemic species like the Makassar White-eye, as well as threatened species such as the Java Sparrow and the Asian Koel, which are classified as Endangered and Vulnerable by the IUCN Red List, were found in the area. Additionally, these RTHs support protected species like the Great Egret, which plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of local aquatic ecosystems. The study concludes that private RTHs in southern Makassar City play a crucial role in bird conservation and the balance of urban ecosystems. Wise protection and management of these areas are essential to support biodiversity amidst intensive urbanization. These findings can serve as a basis for better environmental policy development, benefiting not only bird species but also the overall health of urban ecosystems.

Abstrak. Urbanisasi pesat di Kota Makassar menciptakan fragmentasi habitat yang berdampak pada kelestarian aves. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami peran Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Privat dalam menjaga kelestarian burung di kawasan tersebut. Hasil menunjukkan adanya indeks keanekaragaman sedang dengan 19 spesies burung teridentifikasi. Burung Gereja Erasia dan Kutilang adalah spesies paling umum, dengan distribusi yang merata, tanpa spesies yang mendominasi secara signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun terdapat tekanan urbanisasi, RTH privat tetap menjadi habitat penting bagi burung, termasuk spesies endemik seperti Kacamata Makassar dan spesies yang terancam seperti Gelatik Jawa dan Kerak Kerbau, yang berstatus Endangered dan Vulnerable menurut IUCN Redlist. RTH ini juga mendukung spesies dilindungi seperti Kuntul Besar, yang berperan dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem perairan. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa RTH privat di selatan Kota Makassar memiliki peran krusial dalam konservasi burung dan ekosistem perkotaan. Perlindungan dan pengelolaan yang bijaksana diperlukan untuk mendukung keanekaragaman hayati di tengah urbanisasi yang intensif, serta mendasari kebijakan lingkungan yang lebih baik untuk kesehatan ekosistem perkotaan secara keseluruhan. Fokus utama program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di SMK Negeri 5 Barru adalah meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) atau drone untuk pembelajaran pemetaan. Tujuan ini mendukung transisi metode pembelajaran dari konvensional ke modern, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kesiapan siswa di bidang geologi dan pertambangan. Melalui metode pelatihan dan workshop, program ini melibatkan guru maupun siswa dalam pengoperasian UAV, pengumpulan dan analisis data pemetaan, dan penggunaan software pemetaan seperti ArcGIS. Hasilnya, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru, serta peningkatan minat dan pemahaman siswa tentang pemetaan. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi UAV dalam pendidikan tidak hanya memperkaya kurikulum tetapi juga mempersiapkan peserta didik dengan keterampilan yang relevan untuk industri modern.

The rapid advancement of technology has significantly influenced education, including the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in geography lessons to prepare students for the demands of the digital era. This training was designed to enhance the understanding and skills of students at SMKS Islam Pesantren Alam Indonesia in Barru District in using Google Earth Pro for land mapping. The training was conducted through five stages: group approach, knowledge enhancement, spatial data creation, data processing, and evaluation. Results show that participants improved their understanding of GIS concepts and successfully applied practical skills, including spatial data interpretation and collection on a 5.23-hectare agricultural plot. The final evaluation indicated that participants were able to create accurate maps and databases of the agricultural area. Overall, this training effectively enhanced digital mapping skills among students and teachers, equipping them for technological challenges.

Assessment in learning is an important component in monitoring learning progress, learning outcomes, and detecting the need for continuous improvement of student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to provide strengthening and understanding of MTS Madaniyah Gunung Silanu, Jeneponto teachers in learning design and assessment. The methods used in this research are; a) Observation; b) Training; c) Independent / Structured Tasks; d) Task Review; and e) Evaluation. Based on the results of the implementation of this training activity, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability of MTS teachers regarding learning design and assessment. The results can be seen from the activities that run well and conducive and the positive response of the trainees to the questionnaire given with an average score of 3.47.

Implementasi model pembelajaran yang tepat diharapkan dapat meningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Blended Problem Based Learning adalah model pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dan daring dengan kegiatan pemecahan masalah secara kolaboratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Blended Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan desain "quasy experiment" dengan pretest posttest control group a design. Penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa semester 4 kelas A (32 mahasiswa) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B (33 mahasiswa) sebagai kelas kontrol pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 di Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Makassar. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument tes. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan independent samples tes kemampuan berfikir kritis menggunakan SPSS 23 for Windows melalui uji-t diperoleh hasil 0,030 < 0,05. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan model pembelajaran Blended Problem Based Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Blended Problem Based Learning efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Geografi
