Abstract

Abstract: The pourpuse this study were to describe the values of education character in the poem of people song ”senandung Maondu Pojo” in Kapur IX District Lima Puluh Kota Regency and to document the poem of people song ”senandung Maondu Pojo” as a study of oral literature.The research data was collected by qualitative data, were the poem of people song ”senandung Maondu Pojo”from three informans, helped by instrument like recording tool (audio and audiovisual), nothing sheet, and interview guidance. The result of this study is five values of education character in the poem of people song ”senandung Maondu Pojo” there are believe and obedince, honesty, smart, strong, and care. Kata kunci: nilai pendidikan karakter, syair nyanyian rakyat,  senandung Maondu Pojo.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is conducted base on background, that is, moral less of young generation until the generation should have characters. Novel of Ranah Tiga Warna by A. Fuadi describes human who have specific characteristics, such as character of education. The character is shown on speech, behavior, and story of narrator on the novel. This research tends to qualitative approach with content analysis method. The result of this study is five values of education character in the novel of Ranah Tiga Warna by A. Fuadi there are believing and praying for God, truthiness, smartness, strongly, carefully.   Kata kunci: nilai, pendidikan karakter, novel,  Ranah Tiga Warna

Abstract

Abstract: This study was generated from the problem of students’ ability in writing news texts ini class VIII, SMPN 1 Panti. Some of the problem were (1) lack of the students’ response towards news writing teaching and learning process, (2) lack of teacher’s creativity in designing interesting news sriting learning model, (3) no appropriate creative techniques applied by the teacher which could train the students to develop their skill in writing news texts, and (4) lack of the students’ motivation in participating in teaching and learning process because of their lack of understanding in the elements of news. Thus, this study was aimed at escribing the effect of the students’ ability ini writing news texts in class VIII SMP N 1 Panti. This was a quantitative research with factorial 2x2 experimental design. The population was the students in class VIII SMPN 1 Panti. Sampling technique wa done by using random sampling and the data was collected through questionnaire and test. The result of the study revealed that cooperative learning model with STAD mind mapping type affected the students’ ability in writing news texts. Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this study to describe the process of improving the exposition essay writing skills and improving the exposition essay writing skill using cooperative learning model CIRC on class XI TKR 1 student of SMK Karya Padang Panjang. The type of this research is classroom action research that used a qualitative approach. This study arranged in two cycles, starting on February and ending on March 2014. Qualitative data were collected through observation, field notes, and questionnaires. Quantitative data obtained through performance tests and questionnaires. The result of this study find that the use of cooperative learning model CIRC is able to improve learning outcomes in writing exposition skill of the student. The increase can be seen in learning process and the result of writing exposition essay. Exposition essay writing test result of the first cycle with an average mark of 75 and the second cycle with an average value of 82. Based on the research, it can be concluded that: (1) the use of cooperative learning model CIRC can improve the learning process, both teachers and students activity, and (2) improving student learning outcomes in essay writing exposition.   Key Words: writing skills, exposition essay, cooperative learning model CIRC

Abstract

This reasearch studies the hirarchy of morphology in Indonesian particularly on the reduplication verb from derivational and inflectional morphology perspectives. It is a qualitative research applying structural linguistic method and making use of case grammar for semantic analysis. The result indicates that reduplication verb in Indonesia has four morphology hirarchical patterns which includes (1) (D + derivation reduplication) + inflectional affix (voice); (2) D + (reduplication + affix (derivation proces)); (3) D + derivation reduplication; (4) (D + derivation reduplication) + inflectional affix (formal or informal).

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji hierarki afiksasi pada verba BI dari perspektif morfologi derivasi dan infleksi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian linguistik struktural dan memanfaatkan tata bahasa kasus untuk kajian semantis. Temuan penelitian adalah pada verba afiksasi BI terdapat lima pola hierarki afiksasi. Pertama, pola (I) adalah D + PROSES INFLEKSI. Kedua, pola (II) adalah (D + PROSES DERIVASI) + PROSES INFLEKSI. Ketiga, pola (III) adalah ((D + PROSES DERIVASI) + PROSES DERIVASI) + PROSES INFLEKSI. Keempat, pola (IV) adalah D + PROSES DERIVASI. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of information technology, adherence to accounting rules, and human resources to the reliability of financial statements in Central Lombok District Government. This study uses a quantitative approach, with primary data obtained through questionnaires. The respondents are the employees of finance department of Cen-tral Lombok District Government. The independent variables used in this study are infor-mation technology, adherence to accounting rules, and human resources, while the depen-dent variable is the reliability of financial statements. The respondents are asked to answer a set of questions listed in a questionnaire. 72 samples are taken from the total population of 256, however only 63, which are considered valid to be analyzed. For the data analysis, it used double linear regression method and processed by using SPSS 18.0. The data analysis results based on t-test show that information technology and human resources have positive significant effect on the reliability of financial statements, but adherence to accounting rules has positive insignificant effect on the reliability of financial statements in Central Lombok District Government. The implication of this study leads to the importance of the optimized preparation of financial statements to achieve the reliable financial statements.

Abstract

Penelitiaan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bebrapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kepedulian guru terhadap pcmenfaatan media pembelajaran. Beberapa faktor tersebut adalah pengalaman mengajar, pengetahuan media pembelajaran, dan sikap terhadap media pembelajaran Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat ukur dalam penelitian ini data sekunder untuk variabel pengalaman, dan tiga variabel lain untuk mengukur: (1) instrumen pengukur pengetahuan, (2) instrumen pengukur sikap, (3) instrumen pengukur kepedulian. Hasil uji coba imstrumen diperoeh koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,50; 0,57; dan 0,62. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi dan regresi sederhana, ganda, dah parsial Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara sikap terhadap media pembelajaran dengan kepedulian dalam memamfaatkan media pembelajaran. Kekuatan hubungan dan kontribusi yang dihasilkan cukup tinggi dengan derajat keterujian sangat signifikan, sehingga sikap merupakan faktor yang dominan mempengaruhi kepedulian dalam pemenfaatan media pembelajaran. Kontribusi gabungan antara pengalaman mengajar, pengetahuan media pembelajaran, sikap terhadap media pembelajaran dan kepedulian dalam meanfaatkan media pembelajaran menghasilkan prosentasi yang cukup tinggi. Dengan demikian, ketiga faktor tersebut di atas secara bersama- sama turut mempengaruhi adanya kepedulian dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran

Abstract

Learning model by problem-based instruction is an approach of learning method of student toward authentic problem. The research is to know: (!) outcome of learning of student after studying with learning model by problem-based instruction and compared with outcome of student learning by conventional method. And (2) The effectiveness of learning model by problem-based method in action to transfer the material of geology. The result of research shows that outcome of learning of student with learning method by problem-based method is betther than student with conventional method.
