The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature review. The results obtained from the research show that (1) Homeschooling is not a current topic in Islamic education. Rasulullah pioneered homeschooling . Rasulullah educated his friends and produced outstanding students at Arqam's house. There are three types of homeschooling in the Islamic tradition: single (family) homeschooling , multiple homeschooling (halaqah), and community (mosque) homeschooling . Natural education includes monotheism, religion, morals, leadership and vocational education. (4) Family education should touch on seven aspects: faith, morals, physical, intellectual, psychological, social and sexual. (5) To instill these values, various methods need to be used, including example, advice, customs, attention, appreciation and punishment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept and implementation of people management in shaping leadership spirit at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor For Girls Campus 1 through a case study of the Class 6 Success Team. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the concept of people management at Gontor refers to the process of guidance and education to shape the character and identity of students through planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. The Success Team acts as a dynamizer that manages the activities of final year students with a character education approach based on the values of Panca Jiwa Gontor, such as sincerity, simplicity, independence, ukhuwah Islamiyah, and freedom. Supporting factors for the success of this team include the number of assignments, the active role of mentors, and the habit of discipline, while inhibiting factors include a lack of initiative, communication, and concern. The implementation of people management has proven to be effective in shaping the leadership spirit of female students who are not only organized but also have strong and resilient leadership characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the design of inclusive education and the strategies for fostering tolerance at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. This Islamic boarding school integrates religious education and social morality. Using a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods, the research involves field observations, in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and caregivers, and documentation of relevant activities. The main theoretical argument of this study is grounded in inclusive education theory, which views education as a tool for creating a more just and inclusive society. It also considers the concept of the hidden curriculum, which posits that social and moral values can be instilled through social activities beyond the formal curriculum. The findings indicate that Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor has successfully integrated inclusive education across various dimensions of the curriculum, including intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, which emphasize collaboration, respect for differences, and unity. Additionally, the hidden curriculum, applied through social activities such as community service and scouting, plays a crucial role in shaping tolerance among students. This research contributes to the literature on inclusive religious-based education, particularly in the context of Islamic boarding schools, by demonstrating how inclusive and moderate-based education can address social challenges in Indonesia. The limitations of this study lie in its focus on only one pesantren and the perspectives of students and caregivers. Future research is recommended to include other pesantren and perspectives from parents and the surrounding community to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the impact of inclusive education on attitudes of tolerance.

Abstract

The idea of women in Islam is examined in this article as a key topic in modern Islamic studies, covering theological, sociological, and pedagogical facets. By examining the viewpoints of the Qur'an, Hadith, Islamic academic tradition, and historical precedents, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive picture of women's strategic position and role. This article illustrates how Islam sees women as spiritually equal beings with a variety of roles through scriptural and contextual study. The Qur'an and Hadith's endorsement of men and women's spiritual equality, which dispels patriarchal prejudices, opens the topic. The article then examines the ideas of "Sayyidah" and "Umm," which show how women's roles in the home and in society are balanced. Exemplary characters like Khadijah, Aisha, and Fatimah are also presented in the analysis as models of perfect women who achieve achievement in their careers, education, and spiritual lives. It is also stressed that women play a crucial role in forming the character of future generations as "madrasah al-ūlā" (first school). To sum up, Islam views women as active and important participants in the advancement of civilization. In the context of women's education at establishments like the Gontor Putri Modern Islamic Boarding School, which seeks to create ideal Muslim women capable of serving as leaders and educators in society, these ideas are not merely theoretical but also applicable.
