This study aims to determine the effect of service quality to the Front Office employee satisfaction Hotel guests staying at Axana Padang . This type of research is associative causal . The population in this study is the average number of guests staying ie 1,711 people per month . The number of samples in this study are numbered 95 people were taken using the formula Riduwan . The sampling technique is non-probability sampling , ( incidental sampling ) . Collecting data using a questionnaire based on Likert Scale which has proven its validity and reliability . Results of linear regression analysis sedarhana obtained F count with sig . 0.005 < 0.05 , then the variable can explain the variable service quality customer satisfaction significantly , with R Square of 0.083 . This means that service quality affects customer satisfaction by 8.3 % and 91.7 % influenced by other factorsKeyword: Quality, Service , Employee , Satisfaction , and Guests.V

The purpose of research is to analyze the relationship between jobsatisfaction with staff front office performance in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. Thisstudy is a descriptive correlational study. The population numbered 30 people ofstaff front office department, Informant selection techniques in the study usingsaturated sampling technique for 30 people of staff front office department, datacollection techniques with a structured questionnaire based on Likert scale thathas been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the survey results revealedthe percentage of incoming job satisfaction overall categorized good (90%), stafffront office performance in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang overall as enough(40%).The results showed that there between job satisfaction with staff frontoffice performance in Hotel Rocky Plaza Padang is didn’t have a Positive andsignificant relationship, it means if the job satisfaction good, the performance ofstaff front office would be good also.Keywords: Leadership and Performance1

This research originated from the students who are not concerned with thecleanliness of catering laborers of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality StateUniversity of Padang. The purpose of this study is to describe how the intrinsicmotivation and extrinsic motivation of students in maintaining the cleanliness ofthe catering laboratory of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality State Universityof Padang. The research type is descriptive quantitative. The population of thisresearch are students who are and have been using labor catering Faculty ofTourism and Hospitality State University of Padang, as much as 558 people. Thesampling in this study is proposional random sampling as many as 85 people. Thedata collection are done by questionnaires using the scale of likert and has beentested the validity and reliability. This research result indicates that overall thestudents motivation in maintaining the cleanliness of the catering laboratory ofthe Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality State University of Padang 57.6% of therespondents declared as good, 30.6% of the respondents declared as enough and11,8% declared as very good.Keywords: Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation

The purpose of research is to determine the entrepreneurship character ofHotel Management at State University of Padang (UNP). This research consistssixth of indicators which is: confident, task-oriented and results, dare to take arisk, leadership, originality and future-oriented. This type of research isdescriptive research with quantitative data. Population in this research amount567 people. Data retrieval technique is probability sampling which isproportionate stratified random sampling. The total of sample in this research is85 people. Data collection using a questionnaire based on a Likert’s scale thattested for validity and reliability. Generally based on the results entrepreneurshipcharacter Hotel Management of UNP states that 4% respondent expressed verywell, 45% respondent said good, 50% of respondent states good enough and 1%respondent said not good and there is no respondent states very bad.Keywords: entrepreneurship character

This study aims to determine the Quality service in satoo restaurant HW Hotel Padang. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Population of this research amounting to 255 person. The technical take of sampling using purposive sampling amounting 72 person. Collecting data using a questionnaire based on Likert Scale which has proven its validity and reliability. The results showed that overall quality service belong to a category good enough with the average value of 3,06 which were in the range 2,61-3,40. While based on individual indicators is: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and tangibles belong to a category good enough in range 2,61-3,40. while empathy belong to a category good with the average value of 3,82 in range 3,41-4,20.

The research aimed to see the Influence of Work-Discipline towardWorkers’ Performance of Grand Inna Muara Hotel in Padang. The research wasquantitative descriptive by using associative clausal method. The population was130 workers of Grand Inna Muara Hotel. The samples were 98 people who wereobtained by using simple random sampling technique. The instrument that wasused for collecting the data was questionnaire. The questionnaire used Likert scalewhich has qualified validity and reliability. Based on the research, work-disciplineof the workers was categorized as very good (87, 75%), meanwhile workers’performance was categorized as good (68, 36%). The results revealed a positive,significant correlation between work-discipline toward workers’ performance ofGrand Inna Muara Hotel that is about 6, 8%. In other words, Ha is accepted.Keywords: Work-Discipline, and Workers’ Performance

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh bauran promosi terhadap keputusan menginap tamu di Horison Hotel Siantar. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tamu Horison Hotel Siantar yang sedang menginap dan yang akan check-out saat peneliti sedang melaksanakan penelitian. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 99 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Non probability sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang dari penyebaran kuesioner dan data sekunder yang dari data jumlah tamu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan angket yang berisi 31 butir pernyataan yang telah di uji validitas dan realibelitasnya yang disebarkan kepada tamu Horison Hotel Siantar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi logistik biner. Regresi Logistik Biner digunakan untuk menggambarkan dua variabel respon yang berskala dikotomik/biner yaitu menginap dan tidak menginap terhadap variabel bebas. Data di analisis menggunakan SKALO dan SPSS 20.00. Hasil penelitian: Hasil pengujian omnibus test of Model Coefficients menyatakan bahwa sig = 0.043 lebih kecil dari 0,05, ini mengindikasikan bahwa model adalah signifikan 0,043 dan keputusan Ho diterima yang artinya terdapat pengaruh antara bauran promosi terhadap keputusan tamu menginap di Horison Hotel Siantar. Begitu juga dengan Nilai Chi Square tabel untuk DF 5 (Jumlah variabel independen – 1) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 adalah sebesar 3,841. Karena nilai Chi Square Hosmer and Lemeshow hitung 17,933 > Chi Square table 3,841 atau nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,003 (< 0,05) sehingga H0 diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa model DAPAT diterima dan pengujian hipotesis DAPAT dilakukan hasil signifikansi 0,003 antara model lebih kecil dengan nilai observasinya

This research is motivated by several problems found by the author. The purpose of this study is to find out the Influence of Motivation and Confidence on Employee Performance at Mercure Padang Hotel. This type of research is classified as quantitative descriptive research with causal associative methods. The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The results of this study showed that the motivation variable in mercure padang hotel was in the good category of 88.68%. As for the confidence variable lies in the unfavorable category of 49.05% and for the employee performance variable is in the good category which is 53.77%. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis, adjusted R Square value of 0.109, meaning the influence of motivation variables (X1) and confidence (X2) on employee performance variables (Y) by 10.9% while 89.1% is determined by other factors. Furthermore, the results of the double linear regression analysis obtained the value F calculated 7.422 with sig. 0.001 < 0.05, meaning that the motivation variable and confidence in employee performance variables significantly affect.

The purpose of this study was to see and measure how much influence the work environment (X1) and motivation (X2) had on the work discipline (Y) of employees at Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. The author uses a quantitative descriptive research method and the approach is causal associative. The technique for collecting data from the sample using a questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability, distributed to employees of Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. In this study, the determination of the sample used proportional random sampling technique with a total of 82 samples. The data collected was processed using the SPSS application on a computer. To determine the assessment of the data by conducting normality testing, heteroscedasticity testing, multicollinearity testing. To find out the relationship between variables by doing multiple linear regression testing. After processing the data, this study states that the work environment has no influence on employee work discipline with the acquisition of the number of sig. 0.176 > 0.05, while motivation has a significant effect on work discipline with a sig. 0.000 < 0.05. But together the work environment and motivation affect work discipline with the acquisition of sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan peneliti terhadap beberapa permasalahan yang ada di daya tarik wisata Delleng Sindeka Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat, seperti kebersihan disekitar area wisata dalam keadaan kotor karena banyak sampah yang berserakan, fasilitas toilet ditemukan dalam keadaan kotor dan tidak terawat, tidak tersedia angkutan umum menuju objek wisata dan tidak terseianya penjual aksesoris/cinderamata disekitar objek wisata. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur dan mendeskripsikan bagaiman persepsi pengunjung tentang daya tarik wisata Delleng Sindeka Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini memiliki empat indikator antara lain: Acctraction (Atraksi), Accessibilities (Aksesibilitas), Aminities (Amenitas atau fasilitas), dan Ancillary service (Jasa Pendukung pariwisata). Jenis penelitian ini deskriftif dengan data kuantitatif. Popuslasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengunjung pernah berkunjung di objek wisata Delleng Sindeka Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 6.710 orang. setelah mendapatkan jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini, selanjutnya peneliti mencari sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Maka jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 98,53 dan dibulatkan menjadi 100 orang. teknik yang dilakukan untuk pengumpulan data yaitu mendestribusikan kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert yang telah di uji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan secara keseluruhan Persepsi Pengunjung Tentang Daya Tarik Wisata Delleng Sindeka Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat Sumatera Utara tergolong dalam kategori bagus dengan persentase 54%. Berdasarkan masing indikator yaitu: Atraksi 65% berada pada kategori sangat bagus, Aksesibilitas 41% berada pada kategori sangat bagus, Fasilitas 43% berada pada kategori cukup, dan Ancillary 60% berada pada kategori cukup.
