Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of character education management in fostering students' morals at MIS Nurul Iman Gebang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) Planning involves the formulation of lesson plans and educational programs that include goals, policies, methods, and directed procedures; (2) Organising is done through the division of tasks and time, as well as the placement of educators according to expertise to ensure output according to the institution's goals; and (3) Implementation includes habituation of religious values, strengthening of commendable behaviour, and practical activities that support the formation of noble morals. (4) Evaluation is done by supervising implementation in the classroom, providing feedback to educators, and interviewing student guardians to ensure conformity with the institution's goals. This study confirms the importance of character education management in shaping students' good morals through collaboration between institutions, educators and families.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in the study of Asmaul Husna by utilizing instructional media and to develop learning strategies that can enhance students' performance in learning Asmaul Husna. This Classroom Action Research was conducted on 37 seventh-grade students of SMPN 76 Jakarta Pusat. Generally, the teaching of Asmaul Husna is delivered through a monotonous lecture method or one-way communication, which limits student participation during the learning process. Teaching materials rely solely on student worksheets (LKS), causing students to feel bored. After implementing classroom actions in the Asmaul Husna lessons over three cycles, with each cycle comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection stages, data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and evaluation results. The results of the Classroom Action Research revealed that the use of instructional media in Asmaul Husna lessons significantly improved students' learning outcomes, with the average learning achievement increasing from 21.6% in the first cycle to 92% in the second cycle, and reaching 100% in the final cycle. Therefore, it is recommended that the use of media in teaching Asmaul Husna be adopted as a learning method that can be further developed. Abstrak                                                                Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Asmaul Husna dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran dan untuk mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran materi Asmaul Husna. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas VII 6 SMPN 76 Jakarta Pusat yang berjumlah 37 peserta didik. Pada umumnya pembelajaran Asmaul Husna disajikan dengan metode ceramah yang monoton atau satu arah sehingga tidak tampak partisipasi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran tersebut. Materi ajar hanya dengan menggunakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) sehingga membuat peserta didik menjadi bosan. Setelah dilakukan tindakan kelas pada pembelajaran Asmaul Husna yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, dimana dalam setiap siklus memiliki tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi, diperoleh data lapangan berupa hasil pengamatan, wawancara, dokumentasi, hasil evaluasi. Hasil Penelitian Tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada pembelajaran Asmaul Husna dengan menggunakan media terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan peningkatan hasil rata-rata belajar yang sangat signifikan pada setiap siklusnya mulai dari 21,6% meningkat kepada 92% dan pada siklus terakhir menjadi 100%. Oleh karena itu, disarankan bahwa penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran Asmaul Husna dapat dijadikan sebagai metode pembelajaran yang dapat dikembangkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of managerial ownership, women ceo and water accounting on profit management in Manufacturing Companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2021. This study used quantitative proximity. The population in this study is Manufacturing Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021, which is 787 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and a sample of 21 companies was obtained. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression with Eviews software version 9. The results showed that there is no effect of managerial ownership on profit management. There is an influence of women CEOs on profit management. There is an effect of water accounting on profit management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the GeoGebra-assisteddiscovery learning model to learning outcomes in mathematics for grade VIII junior high school studentswith indicators of learning effectiveness, namely student learning outcomes, student activities, andstudent responses. This study is a pre-experiment with a quantitative approach to a one group pretest-posttest design using cluster random sampling techniques. The population in this study was students inclass VIII junior high school, and the research sample consisted of one experimental class group of 23students. Pretests and posttests were used to collect data on student learning outcomes; student activityobservation sheets were used to collect data on student activity; and student response questionnaireswere used to collect data on student response. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics andinferential statistics so that, in general, it can be concluded that the application of the GeoGebra-assisteddiscovery learning model is effectively applied to mathematics learning for grade VIII junior high schoolstudents.

Abstract

Program PKM dilakukan dengan metode memberikan pelatihan, bimbingan, dan pendampingan kepada peserta mengenai pelatihan inovasi model pembelajaran berbasis matematika realistik yang dilakukan secara luring. Tujuan pelaksanaan PKM yaitu (1) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan pengetahuan peserta mengenai inovasi pengembangan model-model pembelajaran, (2) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai pembelajaran matematika realistik, (3) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta mengintergrasikan pembelajaran matematika realistik dalam proses pembelajaran, dan (4) peserta dapat mengimplementasikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika realistik dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan pada SD Negeri 2 Malino Kecamatan Tinggi Moncong, Kabupaten Gowa, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembimbingan dan pendampingan kepada peserta secara daring. Peserta kegiatan PKM adalah guru-guru Sekolah Dasar di Malino Kecamatan Tinggi Moncong. Materi yang disajikan dalam kegiatan PKM yaitu (1) teori & konsep: pembelajaran matematika realistic, (2) pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis matematika realistic, dan (3) implementasi pembelajaran matematika realistik dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan program PKM yaitu (1) meningkatnya kompetensi dan pengetahuan peserta mengenai inovasi pengembangan model-model pembelajaran, (2) meningkatnya pengetahuan mengenai pembelajaran matematika realistik, (3) meningkatnya kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta mengintergrasikan pembelajaran matematika realistik dalam proses pembelajaran, dan (4) peserta dapat mengimplementasikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika realistik dalam proses pembelajaran. Luaran/output kegiatan PKM yaitu (1) laporan hasil pelaksanaan PKM, (2) artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan dalam prosiding ber-ISBN dari seminar nasional, (3) artikel pada media massa cetak/elektronik, (4) video yang kegiatan yang dipublikasikan secara luas pada media online youtube, dan (5) adanya peningkatan keberdayaan mitra sesuai permasalahan yang dihadapi.

Abstract

To apply an assessment, all assessment data must be able to be recorded properly and easily traced back so that students who need special attention can be easily found and acted upon immediately. To facilitate the recording and tracing of values, the use of technological media is indispensable, such as the use of applications in assessments. SMP Tonasa 1 Kabupaten Pangkep is one of the campus partners experiencing problems, namely not being able to utilize information system technology as a medium for accessing and analyzing student grades. The purpose of this Community Service activity (PkM) is to have a PkM product in the form of the SiCekN application for SMP Tonasa 1 Kabupaten Pangkep, and to be able to increase partners' knowledge and skills in using the learning assessment information system application. The method used is in the form of making a Value Checking Information System (SiCekN) application with good communication and discussion with partners so that the application is in accordance with partner needs, preparing a manual for using the application, and training in the use of the Value Checking Information System (SiCekN) application. The result obtained was the realization of the Value Checking Information System (SiCekN) application for SMP Tonasa 1 Kabupaten Pangkep. The use of the application has been tested, developed and used properly since 2019 until now in 2023. Teachers have responded positively to the ease of inputting grades and the ease of access to the intranet network so they don't have to gather in a certain place. The use of the application consists of steps for students who will check grades and steps for teachers to input value data into the application.

Abstract

This activity was motivated by the limited ability of teachers to develop interactive and engaging digital teaching materials, which affects students’ independent learning skills. In today’s digital era, teachers are required not only to master the subject matter but also to utilize technology to support an independent and enjoyable learning process. The main objective of this activity was to provide training for teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Arifah Gowa in developing teaching materials through interactive online sites as an innovative learning approach to promote student autonomy. The implementation method consisted of three main stages: planning, execution, and evaluation. During the planning stage, training materials were prepared, covering the introduction of digital platforms, techniques for developing site-based teaching materials, and practical implementation guides. The execution stage was carried out through face-to-face training sessions combined with individual practice and intensive mentoring by the implementation team. The evaluation stage was conducted through assessment of the teaching products, reflective discussions, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. This activity involved a single group of 25 teachers from Madrasah Aliyah with diverse subject backgrounds. The results showed that all participants were able to create teaching materials using Google Sites that were attractive, easily accessible to students, and aligned with their respective subjects. The materials produced have been used as independent learning resources by students at their schools. The benefits gained include improved teacher competence in digital teaching material development, increased student motivation to learn independently, and the formation of a collaborative teacher network for developing learning media. This activity emphasizes that engaging teachers in practice-based training can drive digital transformation in education and strengthen the active role of the educational community in improving student learning quality.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aimed to increase awareness and knowledge among the residents of Manis Jaya Village, Tangerang City, about the importance of maintaining Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). Through a counseling session conducted by the Integrated KKN team of Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang, residents were encouraged to understand and apply PHBS practices, such as handwashing with soap, maintaining environmental cleanliness, and consuming healthy food. The results showed a significant increase in the residents' knowledge and healthy behaviors, although challenges like limited access to clean water and waste management facilities remain. The discussion emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, the community, and educational institutions to ensure the sustainability of PHBS implementation. This program is expected to serve as a model for similar activities in other areas with comparable social and economic conditions. Continuous implementation and adequate infrastructure support are key to long-term success.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach involving written sentences, individuals, and observed actions.The data for this research was collected through data triangulation techniques, which combine various data sources through observation and unstructured interview methods.One of the causes of low awareness of the dangers of drugs is the lack of access to structured and interesting information. In contrast, trust in information from traditional or local leaders suggests that there is a high likelihood that conventional communication methods can be optimized for prevention efforts. The information services provided have given Naposo Nauli Bulung a better understanding of the effects of drugs, which include physical, mental, and social damage. This research explains that information services are a very important tool to prevent the dangers of drugs for Naposo Nauli Bulung in Bonan Dolok Village. Appropriate and sustainable information can increase knowledge, awareness and anti-drug attitudes among youth. This information not only motivates people to change their behavior, but also encourages social awareness and active participation in building a healthy and drug-free environment.

Abstract

Circles are a part of mathematics that is often found in the surrounding environment. However, the circle is still quite a difficult challenge for students, so many still get relatively low grades. The aim of this activity is to provide understanding and meaningful learning experiences to students in learning mathematics, namely proving the area of ​​a circle using manipulative media. The data collection method is a survey by giving questionnaires to students after the activity and documentation in the form of photos of the activity. The subjects of service were 40 class VIII students at Marioriawa 1 Middle School, Soppeng Regency. The results of the questionnaire showed that on average students responded >90% to all statements given, meaning that learning activities using manipulative media made students more confident in solving mathematics problems, especially the area of ​​circles and developed students' skills in solving problems. The final test results for students showed that there was a drastic increase in student scores compared to the initial test results. Abstrak Lingkaran merupakan salah satu bagian dari ilmu matematika yang sering dijumpai di lingkungan sekitar. Namun lingkaran masih menjadi suatu tantangan yang cukup sulit bagi siswa sehingga masih banyak yang memperoleh nilai tergolong rendah. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu memberikan pemahaman dan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna kepada siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika yaitu membuktikan luas lingkaran dengan media manipulatif. Metode pengumpulan datanya yaitu survey dengan memberikan angket kepada siswa setelah kegiatan berlangsung dan dokumentasi berupa foto kegiatan. Subjek pengabdian yaitu siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Marioriawa Kabupaten Soppeng yang berjumlah 40 orang. Hasil angket diperoleh bahwa rata-rata siswa memberi respon sebesar >90% pada semua pernyataan yang diberikan, artinya kegiatan pembelajaran dengan media manipulatif menjadikan siswa lebih percaya diri dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika khususnya luas lingkaran dan mengembangkan keterampilan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Hasil tes akhir pada siswa menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan secara drastis terhadap nilai siswa dibandingkan dengan hasil tes awalnya.
