Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is always considered difficult by most students. To be able to make students more interested and understand mathematical concepts, the teacher should present mathematics lessons as attractively as possible and change abstract mathematical concepts to be more concrete. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes in unit time when learning was assisted by the use of wall clock media. This research is classroom action research with participatory collaborative research type. The research model used is a research model from Stephen Kemmis and Mc Taggart with data collection methods in the form of tests and interviews. The results showed that there was an increase in the number of students who completed learning from the original 30% before being given action, to 95% in the second cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning mathematics in unit time using wall clock media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of reading skills in grade I students of SDN Jatiwates 2. This research is a type of classroom action research using the Kurt Lewin model which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The methods used to collect data are tests, observations, and documentation. The collected data was then analyzed through qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. The results obtained in this study are learning by using image media as learning media is welcomed by students. Students at SDN Jatiwates 2 experienced an increase in learning related to reading skills in this way of learning from the pre-cycle stage to the second cycle. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that learning using image media using the SAS method can be used as an alternative in reading skills and can be applied in elementary schools.

Abstract

Learning media is a means used in delivering information from teachers to students during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of learning media on students' motivation and learning outcomes, especially in science subjects about Changes in Objects in the fifth grade of elementary school. This research can be categorized as Participatory Action Research (PAR), where the data management in this study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis which is analyzed by descriptive method. Based on the results of these studies, it is clear that the use of learning media in the learning process greatly influences students' motivation and learning outcomes where higher learning outcomes are obtained by utilizing learning media with an average that can be exceeded by all students with scores above the average obtained by each. -each student. Therefore, it is hoped that educators will be able to develop more creative and innovative learning media so that learning objectives can be carried out properly and are able to create meaningful learning for students.

Abstract

The progress of data and correspondence innovation (ICT) is currently closely connected with the times that are always present bringing change. This innovation is aimed at leading to positive changes in teaching and learning activities. The implementation of citizenship learning for grade 5 students at SDN Bagor is in accordance with the standard of the education process, but is not yet optimal. When carrying out learning, compared to the use of media in other subjects, conventional media in the form of images are still used in Civics subjects. This implies that Civics learning has not kept up with the times. For this reason, interactive multimedia-based learning is held in Civics lessons. The method used is Classroom Action Research, also known as CAR (Classroom Action Research). Data collection methods used in this study were observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study stated that there was an effect of the application of interactive multimedia-based learning in Civics learning on the interest of 5th graders at SDN Bagor.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is often considered difficult by students. Therefore, there are many students who have low mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes on the theme of 6 standard time unit materials through the demonstration method. This method is expected to be able to present abstract mathematical concepts to be easier for students to understand. This research is a classroom action research with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed with the stages of reduction, display data, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate an increase in mathematics learning outcomes for third grade students at SDN 2 Talunrejo. In cycle 1 the average student learning outcomes are 67 while in cycle 2 the average student learning outcomes are 79, then the average student learning outcomes increase by 12. While the percentage of student learning completeness in cycle 1 is 60% while in cycle 2 by 80%, then the percentage of student learning completeness increased by 20%. It can be concluded, based on these data, that the initial learning target of the demonstration method has been achieved, namely improving student learning outcomes in mathematics at SDN 2 Talunrejo.
