Abstract

Teachers as education providers play a role in improving student learning outcomes. The quality of teacher performance is very decisive on the quality of educational outcomes because the teacher is the figure who most often interacts directly with students during the learning process. The purpose of the study was to determine the contribution of transformational leadership, education and training, and educational digital innovation to teacher performance in learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Ngawi. This type of research is causal associative research using a quantitative approach. Places of research in several SMP Muhammadiyah Ngawi. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.010 < 0.05. The education and training variables have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.013 < 0.05. Furthermore, the education and training has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance 0.001 < 0.05. Taken together, the variables of the transformational leadership, the education and training and the digital innovation on teacher performance are simultaneously influential. Suggestions for the teacher research at SMP Muhammadiyah Ngawi are expected to help each other with the problems of other members in providing information related to teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1). konsep dasar kebutuhan Manusia menurut Abraham H Maslow. 2). Faktor yang menjadi penebab Sumber Stres Guru. 3) nilai-nilai dari Psikologi Humanistik Abraham H Maslow menjadi solusi alternatif untuk menghindari/menghilangkan stress pada Guru. Penelitan ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan atau literatur review, dengan sumber data dari jurnal online nasional dan internasional yang sudah dilakukan dan diterbitkan. Metode analisis yang digunakan menggunakan analisis isi jurnal, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian meliputi : 1) Ada 5 konsep dasar kebutuhan Manusia menurut Abraham H Maslow yaitu Kebutuhan fisiologis, kebutuhan keamanan, kebutuhan dimiliki dan cinta, kebutuhan harga diri dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri. 2) Faktor yang menjadi Sumber Stres Guru ada 5 yaitu Stres individu, interpersonal, sosial, lingkungan fisik dan organisasi. 3) Nilai Psikologi Humanistik Abraham H Maslow menjadi solusi alternatif untuk menghilangkan stress pada Guru, Memenuhi kebutuhan fisiologis, Mengakomondasi kebutuhan rasa aman secara fisik maupun psikis, Kebutuhan sosial, ego dan aktualisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1). Jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal tentang merubah bentuk pecahan ke bentuk persen dan desimal serta sebaliknya. 2). Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa melakukan kesalahan tentang merubah bentuk pecahan ke bentuk persen dan desimal serta sebaliknya. Penelitan ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan sumber data guru dan murid kelas V di SD Muhammadiyah Terpadu Masaran Sragen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi. Teknik analalis meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian meliputi : 1) Empat jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal yaitu Kesalahan dalam Membaca, Memahami Masalah, Proses Perhitungan dan Kesalahan Menuliskan Kesimpulan Jawaban. 2) Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa melakukan kesalahan yaitu Kesulitan memahami masalah dalam soal, Tidak memahami konsep dan operasi pecahan serta Lupa atau Tidak Teliti, dan Tergesa-gesa.

Abstract

This qualitative-ethnography study described the critical thinking skill based on indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference in solving mathematical problem. The subjects of the study were the headmaster, math teachers, and ninth grade students of a public junior high school in academic year of 2020/2021. The data were collected through observation, field notes, interview, and documentation. Triangulation of sources and technique were used to ensure the data validation in this research. Data analysis technique was done inductively with continuous process along with the data collection. The results of the study showed high initial skills in mathematics become the basic need for the students in developing critical thinking skills based on indicators of interpretation. The improvement of critical thinking based on the indicator of interpretation is accustomed through problem-based learning. Critical thinking process based on the indicator of analysis is cultivated through collaborative learning. In this indicator, the students need special attention from the teacher. There is always the possibility for every student from each level to face difficulties in solving some problems without collaborating with others. The teachers can make more effort to optimize the students’ basic holistic skills in line with their knowledge and experience in order to improve students’ critical thinking skills based on the indicator of inference. In this indicator, teachers should guide the students to improve their critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan setiap orang yang harus dipenuhi baik secara formal maupun informal. Namun dalam masa pandemic COVID– 19 yang melanda menjadikan pendidikan harus terlaksana dengan sistem daring. Dalam sistem daring tersebut terdapat berbagai macam problematika pembelajaran yang hanya dapat terselesaikan dengan pembelajaran tatap muka. Problematika tersebut tidak hanya terjadi pada sekolah formal melainkan juga pada sekolah berbasis pendidikan al qur’an seperti RA dan TPQ, sehingga pendidikan al qur’an tidak dapat terlaksana secara efisien. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini ialah menghadirkan pendidikan qur’an dan inovasi media penunjang pendidikan al qur'an. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di RA Al-Hikmah RT 004/004 Desa Pabuaran Kota Serang, Banten dan anak anak RT 004/001 Dusun Jajar Desa Tanjung Kecamatan Bulukerto Kabupaten Wonogiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ialah metode pendidikan masyarakat. Hasil pengabdian berupa sarana dan media pendidikan qur’an yang menunjang pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Critical thinking is important in education because it encourages students to gain an understanding of more complex information. High critical thinking skills will lead students to find and conclude their understanding. The prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has made global changes in the implementation of learning. Until now, the learning process is still directed at the online learning model with the help of various Learning Management System (LMS) platforms. Conditions like this have implications for the decline in students' critical thinking skills in various aspects, such as inference, interpretation, explanation, analysis, evaluation, and self-regulation. This study aims at proposing an alternative learning approach, namely the enhanced-open learning model which is used to empower and improve students' critical thinking skills. This learning model was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) method and implemented with an adaptive hypermedia learning application media designed with the Luther development model. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling on 98 students of informatics education in Surakarta City. The data were analyzed with the prerequisites for normality and homogeneity of the data before the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney U test was carried out to determine the effectiveness of the model. The results of the increase in the gain score obtained from the experiment are in the aspect of interpretation of 93.18%, inference 76.74%, explanation 96.33%, analysis 97, 87%, evaluation 63.01%, and self-regulation 98.13%. Based on the experiments conducted, it is proven that the adaptive open learning approach has a very significant impact on improving students' critical thinking aspects so that it can be concluded that the model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu pihak yang memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia adalah keberadaan guru sebagai pendidik dan pengajar yang akan mengarahkan generasi bangsa ke arah yang benar dan tepat. Oleh karena itu, guru wajib memberikan kinerja maksimal dalam bekerja yang diawasi serta dikembangkan oleh kepala sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kinerja kepala sekolah yang dilakukan dalam upaya peningkatan serta pengoptimalan kinerja guru di MI Muhammadiyah Karangduren Sawit Boyolali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian etnografi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, dua guru serta pengawas sekolah MI Muhammadiyah Karangduren Sawit Boyolali. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini dalam pengoptimalan kinerja guru, kepala sekolah memberi tugas mengajar yang sesuai dengan bidang dan kompetensi yang dikuasi oleh guru baru, membentuk dan melaksanakan kelompok kerja guru bidang studi sebagai wadah bagi guru untuk berdiskusi merencanakan masalah dan memecahkan masalah yang terjadi di kelas, serta menyelenggarakan supervisi administrasi dan akedemik terhadap guru sebagai bahan perbaikan dan menentukan kebijakan. Selain itu Peningkatan kinerja guru dengan melakukan rapat dengan seluruh guru untuk membahas terkait kegiatan operasional sekolah, Selain itu, kepala sekolah juga menyelenggarakan pelatihan IT kepada seluruh Guru, memberikan arahan kepada seluruh siswa, serta mengadakan rapat Evaluasi dalam setiap kegitan operasional sekolah yang dilakukan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kepala sekolah juga mengalami beberapa kendala seperti kendala Sarana Prasarana dan kendala IT.Kata Kunci: Analisis Kinerja, Kinerja Guru, Peningkatan dan Pengoptimalan AbstractOne of the parties who have a very big influence in the world of Indonesian education is the existence of teachers as educators and teachers who will direct the nation's generation in the right and right direction. Therefore, teachers are required to provide maximum performance in work that is supervised and developed by the principal.The purpose of this study is to describe the principal's performance in an effort to improve and optimize teacher performance at MI Muhammadiyah Karangduren Sawit Boyolali.This study uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic research design. The subjects in this study were the principal, two teachers and the school supervisor of MI Muhammadiyah Karangduren Sawit Boyolali. The method used is in-depth interview data collection, observation and documentation..The results of this study in optimizing teacher performance, principals give teaching assignments that are in accordance with the fields and competencies that are mastered by new teachers, form and implement study groups for teachers as a forum for teachers to discuss planning problems and solving problems that occur in class, and organizes administrative and academic supervision of teachers as material for improvement and determines policies. In addition, improving teacher performance by holding meetings with all teachers to discuss school operational activities. In addition, the principal also organizes IT training for all teachers, provides direction to all students, and holds evaluation meetings in every school operational activity carried out. In its implementation, the principal also encountered several obstacles such as infrastructure and IT constraints.Keywords: Performance Analysis, Teacher Performance, Improvement and Optimization

Abstract

Teachers as figures who interact and deal directly with students are required to have good qualifications and competence. The teacher plays an important role in education in the form of being indispensable in shaping the character of students, being a role model for students, fostering enthusiasm for student learning and also increasing creativity in learning. Jobs as teachers are more prone to experiencing stress at work. This study aims to determine stressors and stress coping on MA Bilingual Sidoarjo teachers. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach using three sources, namely the head of the madrasah, deputy head of curriculum and deputy head of student affairs. The results of this study stated that the stressors experienced by Ma Bilingual Sidoarjo teachers were due to students' bad behavior, differences in character, and workload. 1) When the teacher feels pressured by the student's bad behavior, what the teacher does to minimize the pressure is to approach the student and the student's guardian. 2) When stressors are in the form of differences in character, what is done is a coordination meeting with the leadership so that mutual agreement can reach a consensus. 3) Teacher workload that causes work stress in teachers can be overcome by improving communication, and training according to their field and evaluation meetings. That way, coping stress is applied by the Sidoarjo Bilingual MA teacher using a strategy that focuses on the problem.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada pendidik dalam penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran bagi para siswa. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan dengan maksud agar para pendidik mahir menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran yang mampu menyediakan media pembelajaran bagi para siswa sesuai dengan gaya belajar yang dimiliki siswa. Adanya keunikan karakteristik inilah yang menjadikan aplikasi ini sangat memungkinkan untuk digunakan sebagai media utama dalam pemberdayaan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Pelatihan diikuti oleh sekelompok guru sekolah dasar dari SDN Banyuanyar 1 Kota Surakarta, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi beberapa metode yaitu ceramah, demonstrasi, latihan, dan tanya jawab. Hasil yang dapat disampaikan dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini ialah seluruh peserta pelatihan sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan aplikasi pembelajaran ini dengan indikasi para peserta (para guru) terlihat sangat aktif dan tekun didalam mengikuti setiap metode pelatihan yang diadakan. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh ialah sekitar 89% guru telah mampu dan mahir menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran yang dilatihkan untuk kelak digunakan didalam proses pembelajaran bagi siswa yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar siswa. Salah satu kendala yang muncul selama kegiatan pelatihan yakni masalah keterbatasan peralatan komputer sehingga mengakibatkan pelaksanaan pelatihan belum dapat berjalan secaramaksimal.
