Abstract

Red chili is Indonesia's leading commodity. Red chili is a raw material for various food products, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and others. Fluctuations in the availability of red chili commodity supply affect the price of red chili commodity products. Pricing can occur because of supply and demand. Uncertain conditions also influence pricing due to fluctuations in raw material prices, ultimately affecting the price of carrageenan products. This condition makes price determination very difficult. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and design a pricing mechanism and determine the optimal margin in the red chili commodity marketing system. This study uses a systems analysis and design approach. Input-process-output (IPO) diagrams describe system requirements. Industrial business processes are described by the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) ver. 16.0. Meanwhile, to determine the optimal margin, Sugeno's fuzzy inference system approach is used by simulating the model in 3 margin scenarios: pessimistic, moderate, and optimistic. The simulation results were tested using the MAPE test, in which the results were compared between fuzzy price results and markup prices using markup values of 20%, 25%, and 30%. The analysis results show that the price is determined by demand and supply. The price obtained from the formulation of the Sugeno fuzzy model shows an optimal margin of Rp. 16,600.

Abstract

Chemical residues from the use of pesticides in agriculture can impact human health through environmental and food pollution. To lessen the negative effects of excessive pesticide use, pesticides must be applied to plants by dose. The dose of pesticide application can be based on a plant health level, which is the result of drone Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) image analysis. Drones can also be used for spraying pesticides. Analysis of plant health levels was carried out using the Random Forest (RF) algorithm. The results of the classification plant health levels will be used to design spray drone flight routes. The objective of this research is to classify plant health levels of rice based on NDVI imagery using the RF algorithm and to compile a database of spray drone target points. The results of this study indicate that the classification of plant health levels using the RF algorithm produces an accuracy value of 98% and a Kappa value of 0.96. As a result, the model developed and the algorithm employed is quite effective at classifying the level of plant health. Furthermore, spray drone target points based on plant health levels can be generated. Optimally the spray distance between rows is 2 m.

Abstract

Consuming halal food is mandatory for Muslims, but meeting the growing demand for halal products has been a challenge for Muslim producers. Importing halal products from non-Muslim countries can raise doubts about their halal status. Therefore, a traceability system is needed to ensure the halalness of products. This research proposes a new traceability system by utilizing ERP, Blockchain, and smart contract technologies based on HAS 23000. This study is the first to combine these technologies. Using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, the design diagram has been successfully developed into an application system prototype. The use of ERP can help companies reduce operational costs, while the combination with blockchain technology ensures more transparent information, data protection, and system security. The system also uses smart contracts to make automated decisions. By managing the procurement of halal products, companies can ensure that products with halal assurance reach consumers.

Abstract

Mulch is a ground cover material to maintain soil moisture and temperature stability as a plant medium. Mulch also helps prevent weed growth for better plant growth. For planting with plastic mulch, farmers need to make holes in the mulch the day before planting. Precision agriculture is needed because it can obtain savings in input financing, labor, and better yields, so this research aims to identify holes in mulch based on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle images. The advantage of this research is that it can monitor each plant based on the mulch holes, and the number of holes identified can be used as a parameter to estimate the amount of crop production. This research combines Template Matching Algorithm and Machine Learning Algorithm to improve accuracy in predicting holes in mulch. Three machine learning algorithms are used, namely the Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, and XGBoost. The data used is an orthophoto mosaic from aerial photographs. Nine areas were taken from orthophotos to be used as research samples. The results of this study obtained the highest average recall, precision, and f-measure values using the Support Vector Machine algorithm with a recall value of 87.7%, precision of 97.5%, and f-score of 92.3%. This research focuses on reducing detected commission errors. Therefore, omission errors were still detected in the damaged or leaf-covered holes.

Abstract

In the era of supply chain digitalization, adaptability and transparency are key to enhancing efficiency and trust. Although blockchain technology and smart contract offer innovative solutions, the limitations of static smart contract hinder their full potential. This article introduces a new approach using dynamic smart contract capable of managing various commodities in the supply chain with a key-value store. While this advantage provides flexibility, it still poses challenges in managing increasingly complex interactions among various actors, especially when the number of commodities increases. To address these challenges, this study introduces the concept of smart contract interaction that facilitates the automation and management of interactions with high efficiency. The implementation results show that smart contract interaction outperforms conventional approaches in terms of speed, resilience, and ease of management. Through the combination of dynamic smart contract and smart contract interaction, demonstrating how efficiency, transparency, adaptability, and scalability can be achieved in the supply chain, providing new insights into the utilization of blockchain technology for the modern industry.

Abstract

Blockchain technology offers data transparency and traceability, which is particularly useful in the agricultural sector, especially within the supply chains of commodities like coffee and fish. This sector often encounters issues such as quality degradation, unclear information, and socioeconomic injustice affecting stakeholders. The implementation of Static Smart Contracts (SSCs) on blockchains provides a structured method for executing agreements. However, this approach also has limitations, including a lack of flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic changes in the supply chain. Despite these challenges, blockchain remains a valuable tool for ensuring transaction transparency, traceability, and integrity, which are vital in agriculture. These limitations involve unchangeable parameters, rigid rules, and constraints on adaptability and scalability. This study aims to tackle these issues by designing a more dynamic and responsive smart contract system. We introduce AniraBlock, a revolutionary concept for the agricultural supply chain, particularly in the coffee and fish sectors, by implementing Dynamic Smart Contracts (DSCs) based on a key-value format framework. Unlike SSCs, DSCs offer enhanced adaptability and scalability, addressing the former's limitations. Our study adopts a mixed-method approach, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to validate AniraBlock's effectiveness. Preliminary results show significant improvements in data management and supply chain transparency. The proposed framework has the potential to influence the agricultural sector by boosting data integrity and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Abstract

Today's modern supply chain represents a complex and real-time, organization, resource, activity, information, and data source that is involved in the distribution of products and services ranging from upstream to downstream of the supply chain. In the past 4.0 supply chain technology was not just a linear business function, but as the center of the main process of ecosystems that are in a blind spot chained by value. With information as a foundation in the decision-making process so that information can create integrated and efficiently coordinated supply chains. So that it can show continuity from planning to production, inventory, quality, and price control in each chain. An inefficient distribution that results in mistrust among stakeholders, because it has an impact on the decline and loss of value chain in quality and quantity. Integrity problems from the data collected were found in this study. These findings include the identification of various stakeholders, including farmers, importers to customers, and regulators, as well as their needs, which will be described through the use case, and BPMN. The results obtained are that the main actors (stakeholders) of the system are divided into farmers, importers, processing factories, headquarters, hauling services, and markets (customers) in the distribution of product information flow systems. Suggests tracking and tracing based on real-time data flow of product information coming from each actor in the sugar supply chain that is equipped with an accurate data distribution information support system.
