Abstract

In the era of supply chain digitalization, adaptability and transparency are key to enhancing efficiency and trust. Although blockchain technology and smart contract offer innovative solutions, the limitations of static smart contract hinder their full potential. This article introduces a new approach using dynamic smart contract capable of managing various commodities in the supply chain with a key-value store. While this advantage provides flexibility, it still poses challenges in managing increasingly complex interactions among various actors, especially when the number of commodities increases. To address these challenges, this study introduces the concept of smart contract interaction that facilitates the automation and management of interactions with high efficiency. The implementation results show that smart contract interaction outperforms conventional approaches in terms of speed, resilience, and ease of management. Through the combination of dynamic smart contract and smart contract interaction, demonstrating how efficiency, transparency, adaptability, and scalability can be achieved in the supply chain, providing new insights into the utilization of blockchain technology for the modern industry.

Abstract

ERP systems have become a part of companies, so all the processes of business activities within the company are integrated with each other. Currently, many vendors offer ERP systems that are inexpensive and easy to implement, such as OpenERP or Odoo, which are open-source ERP systems. This study aims to identify the need for a sales information system that can solve problems at the company, design a sales information system that fits the needs of users based on ERP, and know the effectiveness of using the Odoo Sales Module application in the system. The method used is descriptive quantitative, namely by filling out a questionnaire for the sales staff to test the application using the User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results showed that the average UAT score was 90%. This value indicates that the respondents strongly agree that the Odoo Sales Module application is very useful and easy to use.

Abstract

Blockchain technology offers data transparency and traceability, which is particularly useful in the agricultural sector, especially within the supply chains of commodities like coffee and fish. This sector often encounters issues such as quality degradation, unclear information, and socioeconomic injustice affecting stakeholders. The implementation of Static Smart Contracts (SSCs) on blockchains provides a structured method for executing agreements. However, this approach also has limitations, including a lack of flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic changes in the supply chain. Despite these challenges, blockchain remains a valuable tool for ensuring transaction transparency, traceability, and integrity, which are vital in agriculture. These limitations involve unchangeable parameters, rigid rules, and constraints on adaptability and scalability. This study aims to tackle these issues by designing a more dynamic and responsive smart contract system. We introduce AniraBlock, a revolutionary concept for the agricultural supply chain, particularly in the coffee and fish sectors, by implementing Dynamic Smart Contracts (DSCs) based on a key-value format framework. Unlike SSCs, DSCs offer enhanced adaptability and scalability, addressing the former's limitations. Our study adopts a mixed-method approach, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to validate AniraBlock's effectiveness. Preliminary results show significant improvements in data management and supply chain transparency. The proposed framework has the potential to influence the agricultural sector by boosting data integrity and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Today's modern supply chain represents a complex and real-time, organization, resource, activity, information, and data source that is involved in the distribution of products and services ranging from upstream to downstream of the supply chain. In the past 4.0 supply chain technology was not just a linear business function, but as the center of the main process of ecosystems that are in a blind spot chained by value. With information as a foundation in the decision-making process so that information can create integrated and efficiently coordinated supply chains. So that it can show continuity from planning to production, inventory, quality, and price control in each chain. An inefficient distribution that results in mistrust among stakeholders, because it has an impact on the decline and loss of value chain in quality and quantity. Integrity problems from the data collected were found in this study. These findings include the identification of various stakeholders, including farmers, importers to customers, and regulators, as well as their needs, which will be described through the use case, and BPMN. The results obtained are that the main actors (stakeholders) of the system are divided into farmers, importers, processing factories, headquarters, hauling services, and markets (customers) in the distribution of product information flow systems. Suggests tracking and tracing based on real-time data flow of product information coming from each actor in the sugar supply chain that is equipped with an accurate data distribution information support system.

Abstract

Strategic management functions are elements that are always attached to the management process which will be used as a reference in carrying out activities or structured planning to achieve predetermined goals. This research aims to design a change management model for organizational performance at government institution XYZ in an era of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA). The social theory used in this research is Marxian theory, the name for several theoretical explanations inspired by Karl Marx. The emphasis in Marxian theory is that old assumptions such as the opposition of two large classes, the bourgeoisie and the proletariat, inspire explanations of modern phenomena. Research data was obtained by filling out an online questionnaire by 207 employees of the XYZ government agency. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The variables used in this research are coordination, strategic planning, change management, and organizational performance. The influence of coordination, strategic planning and change management variables on organizational performance will be modeled using a structural equation model. The results show that there is a positive influence of coordination, strategic planning and change management variables on organizational performance. Change management variables are proven to fully mediate the influence of coordination and strategic planning on organizational performance. Its effectiveness can be seen from coordination and strategic planning which cannot significantly influence organizational performance without the mediating variable of change management. The findings of this paper have academic, managerial, and policy implications that can provide a theoretical foundation for future research in measuring and managing organizational sustainability performance and contribute to knowledge in the field of performance measurement.

Abstract

Indonesia, as one of the world’s largest archipelagic countries, is highly prone to natural disasters due to its geological, geographical, and socio-demographic conditions. Despite various efforts from the government and related institutions, there remains a lack of an integrated technological solution that addresses the critical aspects of disaster management. This research aims to develop a mobile-based disaster management information system called Aksi Bencana Indonesia, featuring five integrated functions: real-time disaster information, donation facilitation, volunteer management, logistics coordination, and disaster education. The development process involved identifying functional and non-functional requirements through interviews with disaster mitigation experts and literature studies, followed by UI/UX design using Figma, and coding using Flutter for the frontend and Laravel for the backend. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was conducted with participants aged 18–55 to evaluate the system’s usability and effectiveness. The results showed that the application met the users’ expectations in providing timely and reliable information, facilitating donations and volunteer coordination, and supporting educational initiatives. Moreover, the integration of real-time features improved response time and enhanced the efficiency of resource distribution during disaster events. This study concludes that the application successfully bridges the gap between communities, donors, and volunteers, offering a practical solution for disaster preparedness and response. Future research may focus on expanding the system’s interoperability with national disaster databases and enhancing the analytics dashboard for better decision-making.

Abstract

The research objective is establishing the relationship between business model, open innovation, and a firm’s performance in context-based corporate accelerator program held by Indonesia ICT industries. The crucial relationships between startup and industry collaboration are: co-creation; IP-sharing; reducing R&D costs; the need for risk sharing; and the primary driver of companies’ sustainability growth. Co-creation becomes the most reliable driver in the issue of the importance of collaboration, and it leads to an independent factor that should be firstly developed and continuously improved. The IP-sharing and risk-sharing factors are both reliable drivers but medium dependent. The startups and industries must have a proper contractual agreement once they decide to share the IP and risk. The integrity factor will be necessary for mutual benefit. Reducing R&D costs and the main driver of the company’s sustainability growth are the dependent variables or outcomes of the collaboration between startups and leading industries.

Abstract

This study geared to analyze current problems faced by the One Stop Investment and Integrated Services Offices (Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu/DPMPTSP) in delivering licenses to private sectors and subsequently to construct conceptual models in improving their performance. Respondents of this study are experts and leaders representing Ministries/Institutions, DPMPTSP, Technical Offices, Local Governments, and business actors, which total up to 36 respondents. The data were analyzed through Soft System Methodology (SSM) techniques. The results showed that the improvement of licensing service mechanism is the most relevant effort to support the realization of an integrated investment licensing service. Improved licensing service mechanisms are expected to be able to create more effective and efficient licensing services in terms of time, process, and requirements that have been expected by business actors. Through the application of seven stages of SSM analysis, two action plans for improvement are proposed, namely the improvement of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system and Institutional Improvement. Further research is needed to study the implication of time and cost saving could be made if the new models were implemented.

Abstract

Crop Water Stress Index (CWSI), derived from vegetation features (NDVI) and canopy thermal temperature (LST), is an effective method to evaluate sugarcane sensitivity to drought using satellite data. However, obtaining CWSI values is complicated. This study introduces a novel approach to estimate CWSI using climatological data, including average air temperature, humidity, rainfall, sunshine duration, and wind speed features obtained from the local weather station BMKG Malang City, East Java, for the period 2021-2023. Before estimating CWSI, we analyzed sugarcane water stress phenology, examined the strength of the correlation between climatological features and CWSI, and looked at the potential for adding lag features. Our proposed prediction model uses climatological features with additional Lag features in a machine learning regression approach and 5-fold cross-validation of the training-testing data split with the help of optimization using hyperparameters. Different machine learning regression models are implemented and compared. The evaluation results showed that the prediction performance of the SVR model achieved the best accuracy with R2 = 90.45% and MAPE = 9.55%, which outperformed other models. These findings indicate that climatological features with lag effects can effectively predict water stress conditions in rainfed sugarcane if using an appropriate prediction model. The main contribution of this study is the utilization of local climatological data, which is easier to obtain and collect than sophisticated satellite data, to estimate CWSI. The application of the results shows that climatological data with lag effects can accurately estimate water stress conditions in rainfed sugarcane. In drought-prone areas, this strategy can help sugarcane farmers make better choices about land management and irrigation.
