Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) in improving the speed of Emergency Department (ED) services at Mitra Manakarra Mamuju Hospital. The research employed an empirical approach using a descriptive qualitative method through observations of service flow and informal interviews with ED medical staff. Although no formal quantitative data were used, the study constructed realistic scenarios of service duration before and after SIMRS implementation. The findings indicate that SIMRS accelerates patient registration, triage, access to medical records, and information integration across service units, resulting in a significant reduction in patient waiting time. The discussion confirms that these findings align with previous studies asserting that hospital digitalization plays a crucial role in enhancing clinical responsiveness. The study concludes that SIMRS greatly contributes to the efficiency of ED services and recommends improving medical staff competence and digital infrastructure to support sustainable SIMRS implementation.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology shows great potential in supporting the transformation of digital information services, including in library system management. Modern libraries are required to be able to provide services that are fast, personalized, and adaptive to user needs. This study aims to design the concept of an AI-based Library Management Information System using the Collaborative Filtering method as an automatic book recommendation system at the Mamuju Library. The research method uses a systematic literature study approach by analyzing 32 relevant national and international articles to identify implementation patterns, system architecture models, and the resulting benefits. The results of the study indicate that the application of Collaborative Filtering can increase the accuracy of recommendations and the effectiveness of book searches by up to 40–75% based on comparative studies that have been conducted in various digital libraries. In addition, the use of AI has been proven to improve the user experience, accelerate the information retrieval process, and support data-based decision-making by librarians. The proposed conceptual model consists of three main components: the library system database, the AI recommendation engine, and the user interface.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the public sector has encouraged various government agencies to begin utilizing information systems as a means of improving efficiency and service quality. One manifestation of this effort is the implementation of the Population Administration Information System (SIAK) at the Population and Civil Registration Office. This study aims to assess the performance of SIAK implementation in supporting increased employee work efficiency at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Mamuju Regency. The approach used was quantitative with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through observation, distribution of questionnaires to employees using SIAK, and documentation studies. The results show that the use of SIAK has a positive impact on employee performance efficiency, particularly in terms of speed of service completion, population data accuracy, and smooth work processes. However, the implementation of this system still faces several obstacles, particularly related to network quality and differences in technical capabilities among employees. Therefore, efforts to improve infrastructure and strengthen human resource competencies are needed continuously to optimize SIAK utilization.

Abstract

The implementation of information systems in personnel management has become an important effort for public sector organizations to improve administrative effectiveness and human resource management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) at the Education Office of Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consist of structural officials, SIMPEG administrators, and system users. The findings indicate that SIMPEG has been implemented in managing personnel data and contributes to improving administrative efficiency, data organization, and accessibility. However, the implementation has not yet been fully optimized. This condition is influenced by variations in human resource capabilities, limitations in technological infrastructure, and the lack of structured training and system socialization. The results suggest that the success of SIMPEG implementation is not solely determined by technical aspects but also by management support and organizational readiness. Therefore, strengthening human resource competencies and improving supporting infrastructure are necessary to ensure more effective and sustainable utilization of SIMPEG.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to empirically evaluate the influence of the Population Administration Information System (SIAK) implementation on the efficiency of public service workflows at the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) of Mamuju Regency. The study is prompted by the critical need to address bureaucratic inefficiencies and fluctuating service lead times through digital transformation. Adopting a quantitative approach, this study designates the quality of the SIAK system as the independent variable (X) and the efficiency of service workflows as the dependent variable (Y). The research population comprises service users in Mamuju Regency, with a sample of [Insert Number] respondents selected via simple random sampling techniques. Data collection was executed through structured questionnaires utilizing a Likert scale, previously validated for internal consistency and reliability. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression analysis to verify the research hypotheses. Preliminary findings suggest that the implementation of SIAK exerts a positive and significant influence on workflow efficiency. This indicates that the optimization of information system performance directly correlates with enhanced efficiency in time management, operational costs, and procedural simplification. These results provide strategic insights for Disdukcapil Mamuju to further strengthen their information technology infrastructure, thereby mitigating procedural bottlenecks and fostering a more responsive public administration environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology (fintech) has driven massive digitalization of transactions across various regions in Indonesia, including Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi. However, digital infrastructure challenges outside Java Island often hinder the creation of an optimal user experience. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital service quality on the satisfaction levels of OVO digital wallet users in Mamuju Regency. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative, with data collection techniques involving questionnaires distributed to 45 respondents who are active OVO users in the area. Data analysis focuses on dimensions of digital service quality, including system reliability, transaction efficiency, and technical factors such as server stability and data security. The results indicate that digital service quality plays a crucial role in shaping user satisfaction, with transaction speed being the most appreciated indicator. Conversely, local network stability remains a primary concern for the community. These findings offer important implications for OVO service providers to continue strengthening digital infrastructure and expanding the merchant ecosystem in regional areas to maintain user loyalty. This study also emphasizes the importance of synergy between technology and the availability of stable telecommunications networks in regency areas.

Abstract

The implementation of the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG) represents a strategic initiative to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accountability in personnel administration, particularly within government institutions such as the Women’s Correctional Facility Class III Mamuju. SIMPEG plays a crucial role in supporting integrated personnel data management, including employee records, career history, position tracking, and performance evaluation. This article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of SIMPEG implementation by examining its functions, benefits, challenges, and overall effectiveness in supporting personnel management. This study also investigates various factors that influence the success of SIMPEG implementation, encompassing both facilitating and inhibiting elements. The findings indicate that SIMPEG has contributed positively to accelerating administrative processes, improving data accuracy, and enhancing transparency in personnel-related decision-making. However, the system has not yet reached its optimal potential due to several constraints, including limited human resource competencies, inadequate network infrastructure, and inconsistencies in regular data updates. Therefore, continuous improvement efforts are necessary, particularly in the form of user capacity development through targeted training programs, strengthening information technology infrastructure, and conducting regular system monitoring and evaluation. With these measures in place, SIMPEG is expected to deliver more substantial benefits and support the establishment of a professional, efficient, and accountable personnel management system within government organizations.
