Abstract

Basically every company has the same principle, which is to make as much profit as possible using the minimum possible costs. This can be done in various ways, one of which is by choosing the right vendor. In selecting vendors, PT XYZ has used an application in the form of a website and has determined the criteria for selecting vendors. However, even though they have been assisted with using the application and have determined the criteria for selecting vendors, there are still problems in the procurement process such as goods arriving late or goods arriving not according to the specifications as agreed. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and add service criteria to find the best vendors to assist the production process at PT XYZ. This study aims to find the best vendor in the procurement of solenoid valve spare parts at PT XYZ based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The research results obtained are that PT SMS is the best vendor as a supplier of solenoid valves with a value of 0.491, followed by PT VAI with a value of 0.291, and PT ACE with a value of 0.067. And for the sequence of criteria that are a priority for the procurement of solenoid valves, namely quality, price, delivery, and service.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju dan kemajuan teknologi digunakan dalam dunia industri untuk mendukung kegiatan produksi. Penggunaan teknologi berupa alat dan mesin dapat menimbulkan potensi bahaya bagi para pekerja jika tidak digunakan dengan baik. Kecelakaan kerja dapat terjadi karena setiap tempat kerja memiliki potensi dan risiko. Dengan demikian penanganan terkait keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja harus ditangani secara serius oleh pihak manajemen perusahaan. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan mengidentifikasi risiko dari potensi bahaya yang terdapat ditempat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi risiko bahaya dan menilai risiko yang ada di PT. XYZ. Dalam proses mencapai tujuan tersebut digunakan salah satu metode dalam analisis K3 yaitu Hazard Identification, Risk Assesment and Determining Control (HIRADC). Hasil yang diperoleh dari proses analisis tersebut diketahui terdapat 16 jenis aktivitas yang diamati di area mesin ring frame yang dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja. Dari pengamatan terhadap aktivitas tersebut dapat diidentifikasikan terdapat 25 potensi bahaya. Hasil analisis risiko yang teridentifikasi sebanyak 25 potensi bahaya yang terdiri dari beberapa level risiko. Dari 25 risiko tersebut 8 berada pada kategori very low, 1 pada kategori low, 9 pada kategori medium, 6 pada kategori high, dan pada kategori very high sebanyak 1 aktivitas. Dari potensi risiko tersebut, upaya pengendalian yang dapat dilakukan seperti penerapan SOP pada setiap proses, kebijakan terkait penggunaan APD yang lengkap, serta pengecekan kondisi dan umur mesin secara berkala untuk dapat mengurangi potensi bahaya yang ada.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, production operators at PT. Riken Engineering Perkasa is required to complete work on time, resulting in the operator working longer hours and less rest time. PT. Riken Engineering Perkasa has a 6-day work system, has a working time of 9 hours/day with a break of 1 hour/day, except for Saturdays when it is 5 hours/day. In this case, the operator may have a work accident and do the same job repeatedly due to a defect in the product. Who conducted this research on production operators in the Machining and Fabrication department of PT. Riken Engineering Perkasa aims to analyze all production operators' work fatigue and mental workload during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted using the NASA-TLX method and the Subjective Self Rating Test. The mental workload of the very high indicator category was four operators, the high indicator category value was eight operators, and the low indicator category value was one operator. As for work fatigue, the average score for the medium category is eight operators, and the average value for the standard type is five operators. It can be concluded from the mental workload and work fatigue at PT. Riken Engineering Perkasa in the Machining and Fabrication department has a reasonably high category score; the results of these studies can be used as a reference for actions taken by PT. Riken Engineering Perkasa reduces mental workload and fatigue on operators by changing operator shifts and increasing rest hours. So that these operators can achieve optimal productivity with the quality of the products produced remains stable and maintained

Abstract

Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PERUMDAM) Tirta Tarum Karawang merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) yang beroperasi untuk pendistribusian air bersih kepada masyarakat. Perumdam Tirta Tarum Karawang sebagai penyedia layanan publik yang menggarap, mempersiapkan dan melayani kebutuhan air bersih seluruh warga Kota Karawang. Dengan fungsi tersebut, bagian produksi mengelola pengolahan air sungai menjadi air jadi. Tentunya bagian produksi memiliki resiko kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung dan wawancara terhadap operator bagian produksi. Hasil dari analisis dan pendeteksian, tidak ada risiko kecelakaan kerja selama proses produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-probability sampling. Variabel penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengimplementasikan K3 adalah Biologi, Fisika, Ergonomi, Psikologi dan Kimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko fisik dapat terjadi pada 8 aktivitas, risiko biologis dapat terjadi pada 10 aktivitas, risiko ergonomis dapat terjadi pada 2 aktivitas, risiko kimiawi dapat terjadi pada 2 aktivitas, dan risiko psikologis dapat terjadi pada 1 aktivitas.

Abstract

PT Timuraya Tunggal is a leading supplier and manufacturer of chemical products. Within its operations, potential hazards exist, notably in the sulfuric acid production section, necessitating the role of occupational safety and health to prevent and mitigate accidents. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. The collected data undergoes processing using the HIRARC method, identifying hazards primarily through direct observation in the burner process. The results and discussions of this study conclude the identification of two potential hazards in the burner process at PT Timuraya Tunggal, comprising one low-risk, two moderate-risk, and one high-risk hazard. Control recommendations proposed for the burner process include administrative controls such as avoiding the burner area unnecessarily, installing guardrails, mandating the use of respirator masks and scrubbers, and implementing the use of caustic soda for SO2 neutralization. Additionally, a suggested control for the burner process involves prominently displaying warning signs indicating 'hot surfaces, do not touch.

Abstract

The Faculty of Engineering, University of Singaperbangsa Karawang (Unsika) was established in 1995, one of which is the S1 Industrial Engineering (IT) Study Program, officially registered in 1996. Currently, the faculty is trying to achieve Superior Accreditation or A. The number of applicants for the Industrial Engineering Study Program will increase in 2023, reaching 891 prospective students through the SNBT route, but the capacity can only accommodate 56 people. However, it is in demand as the 4th out of 29 study programs at Unsika. The increase in the number of students is not in line with the on-time graduation rate. This study aims to identify the results of grouping students of the Industrial Engineering Study Program (S1) using the 5C-4C (Knowledge Conversion) process and then implement the relationship with learning activities for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 batches. Next, the data is transformed into information by using the 5C knowledge conversion method: contextualization, categorization, calculation, correction, and condensing. In order to build a program that increases the percentage of students who graduate on time, this information is transformed into knowledge utilizing the 4C knowledge conversion method: comparison, consequence, connections, and conversation. In this study, the population focus is on students of the Industrial Engineering Study Program from three batches, namely 2014, 2015, and 2016. The results of grouping Industrial Engineering students using the 5C process provide a deep understanding of the characteristics and factors that affect learning achievement. This provides a solid foundation for designing appropriate programs to increase the on-time graduation rate.

Abstract

Small industries or Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) are generally labor intensive, so they require human labor to carry out their production. The application of ergonomics is very necessary and needs to be considered in this situation. Lack of attention to the application of ergonomics in the workplace is a problem that can result in workers not doing their job optimally. Work posture is a determinant of effectiveness analysis in doing work. If the work posture is ergonomically good, it can be ascertained that workers can do their work optimally, so that it has an impact on production results. This study aims to analyze static work postures in order to assess the work postures of operators. The method used in this study was the Rappid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), while for subjective analysis of complaints using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. Based on NBM observations, it was found that 3 operators were in the moderate category, but needed immediate action as possible. Meanwhile, the calculation of body posture using the RULA method obtained a score of 7 against the three operators, which means that they fall into the high category and require immediate change action. The conclusion is that the work posture of the production operator at UKM Suci Rizki Bekasi is not ergonomic. The advice given is to provide improved work methods to reduce fatigue and increase productivity.Industri kecil atau Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) pada umumnya bersifat padat karya sehingga memerlukan  tenaga manusia dalam melakukan produksinya. Penerapan ergonomi saangat diperlukan dan perlu diperhatikan dalam situasi ini. Kurangnya perhatian terhadap penerapan ergonomi di tempat kerja menjadi masalah yang dapat berakibat pekerja tidak maksimal dalam melakukan pekerjaannya. Postur kerja menjadi penentu analisis keefektifan dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Jika postur kerja suda baik ergonomis maka dapat dipastikan pekerja dapat maksimal melakukan pekerjaannya, sehingga berimbas terhadap hasil produksi Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis postur kerja yang bersifat statis guna menilai postur kerja yang dilakukan operator. Metode  yang digunakan  dalam penelitian ini adalah Rappid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), sedangkan untuk analisis subjektif keluhan menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM).Berdasarkan pengamatan NBM ditemukan 3 orang operator dalam kategori  sedang, akan tetapi memerlukan tindakan segera mungkin. Sedangkan perhitungan postur tubuh menggunakan metode RULA didapatkan skor 7 terhadap ketiga operator  yang artinya masuk kedalam kategori tinggi dan memerlukan tindakan perubahan segera mungkin. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah postur kerja operator produksi pada UKM Suci Rizki Bekasi sangat tidak ergonomis. Saran yang diberikan adalah memberikan perbaikan metode kerja untuk mengurai kelelahan dan meningkatkan produktifitas.

Abstract

The work system greatly affects the performance of employees until it finally results in the employee being productive or not. A good work system will provide security and comfort to employees when doing work. From this, it is expected that employees can work more actively and can achieve the targets that have been set. This study aims to identify the work system applied to the Community and Village Empowerment Service, and evaluate the work system in order to get a better system to increase productivity. Macroergonomics Analysis and Design (MEAD) approach is used to evaluate the work system with structured and systematic steps. From the results obtained, it is known that the work system implemented by the DPMD has been running effectively and efficiently in accordance with the established vision and mission. While the factors that affect productivity are the physical environment, work equipment, working conditions, and organizational systems. From the calculation of %HR Reserve and Cardiovascular Load (%CVL) the value is 56.34% while the rest time is -0.083. From these results, it is known that the rest time given is sufficient and there is no need for additional rest periods.Sistem kerja sangat mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai hingga akhirnya menghasilkan pegawai tersebut produktif atau tidak. Suatu sistem kerja yang baik akan memberikan keamanan dan kenyamanan pada pegawai saat melakukan pekerjaan. Dari hal tersebut diharapkan pegawai bisa bekerja lebih aktif dan dapat mencapai target yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi sistem kerja yang diterapkan pada Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa, serta mengevaluasi sistem kerja tersebut guna mendapatkan sistem yang lebih baik untuk dapat meningkatkan produktivitas. Digunakan pendekatan Macroergonomics Analysis and Design(MEAD) untuk mengevaluasi sistem kerja dengan langkah terstruktur dan sistematis. Dari hasil yang didapatkan, diketahui sistem kerja yang diterapkan oleh DPMD sudah berjalan efektif dan efisien sesuai dengan visi dan misi yang sudah ditetapkan. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas yaitu ada lingkungan fisik, peralatan kerja, kondisi pekerjaan, dan sistem organisasi. Dari perhitungan % HR Reserve dan Cardiovaskuler Load (% CVL) di dapatkan nilai 56,34% sedangkan waktu istirahat -0,083. Dari hasil tersebut diketahui waktu istirahat yang diberikan sudah cukup dan tidak perlu adanya penambahan waktu istirahat.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in the inventory system is how much and when the order must be made by the company appropriately. Raw material inventory control has a positive impact in supporting the smooth running of a production process in increasing profitability in the company. This study aims to determine the control of raw material inventory and the scheme of ordering raw materials at Mr. Restaurant. Crispy Bogor branch. In this study, the data normality test was used with the one simple Kolmogorov-Smirnov test where the data were normally distributed. Next, the problem is solved using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) multi item - single supplier method. The total cost of raw material inventory according to Mr. Restaurant. Crispy Rp.464.372.750,. the cost is greater than the cost obtained by the EOQ method, which is Rp.303.815.116,. so that savings can be made of Rp. 160,557,364,. ie 35% of the cost of raw material inventory. Based on the results of the research conducted, the total cost of inventory at Mr. Crispy Restaurant can be minimized by using the multi-item single supplier EOQ model.Masalah yang terjadi pada sistem persedian adalah berapa dan kapan pemesanan yang harus dilakukan oleh perusahan secara tepat. Pengendalian persediaan bahan baku memberikan dampak positif dalam mendukung kelancaran suatu proses produksi dalam peningkatan profitabilitas di perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku serta skema pemesanan bahan baku pada Rumah Makan Mr. Crispy cabang Bogor. Dalam penelitian menggunakan uji normalitas data dengan uji one simple kolmogorov-smirnov dimana data berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya dilakukan penyelesaian masalah dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) multi item - single supplier. Total biaya persediaan bahan baku menurut Rumah makan Mr. Crispy sebesar Rp.464.372.750,. biaya tersebut lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan biaya yang diperoleh dengan metode EOQ yaitu sebesar Rp.303.815.116,. sehingga dapat dilakukan penghematan sebesar Rp.160.557.364,. yaitu 35% dari biaya persediaan bahan baku. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan, total biaya persediaan di Rumah makan Mr.crispy dapat diminimasi dengan model EOQ multi item single supplier.

Abstract

The catering vendor business has a high opportunity to increase profits. However, the decreased working relationship and motivation had an impact on their performance during this time. Improving their performance requires the right factors of working relationships and motivation. This study is to determine the influence of these factors. Quantitative design with 24 respondents given a closed questionnaire to collect research data. Statistical testing as an appropriate tool to generate partial and simultaneous values of the case. The partial value of the employment relationship of 0.189 has no effect, motivation 3.025 has an effect on performance. A simultaneous value of 33.427 with a performance impact of 0.761. Employee collaboration and motivation have a positive impact on CV performance. Sabrina Usaha Mandiri with a value of 76.1%. The implementation of intensive labor relations and positive recognition of employees need to be improved. Flexibility in training also needs to be provided to improve performance and build a good company culture, so as to improve working relationships for the better and maintain increased work motivation for employee performance
