Abstract

Meningkatnya biaya logistik menjadi kendala bagi para pelaku usaha, terutama pada pelaku usaha dibidang bahan pokok seperti daging dan produk produk yang memerlukan kesegaran yang terjaga untuk produknya. Dalam konteks logistik, masalah ini menjadi tantangan bagi para pelaku usaha untuk merancang sistem distribusi yang tepat. Salah satu usaha yang dilakukan para pelaku usaha ialah menentukan rute pengiriman yang efisien untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada customer. Selain dari itu para pelaku usaha juga mempertimbangkan biaya bahan bakar yang dikonsumsi untuk setiap kali mendistribusikan produknya. Pada penelitian kali ini, pengembangan model matematis akan diperkenalkan untuk menangani masalah distribusi produk terutama produk yang memerlukan kontainer pendingin sebagai salah satu kendaraan yang menjadi alat tranportasi untuk produk tersebut. Lebih lanjut lagi beberapa contoh data numerik digunakan untuk menunjang pengujian model kali ini. Solusi optimal pun diperoleh dan menunjukkan bahwa besar total biaya transportasi berbanding lurus dengan total jarak yang ditempuh. Selain dari itu biaya bahan bakar kendaraan dan biaya energi untuk kontainer pendingin menjadi salah satu faktor tingginya biaya distribusi yang dimana faktor tersebut bisa menjadi acuan bagi para pelaku usaha untuk mengambil keputusan.

Abstract

Global Teknik adalah suatu wirausaha perorangan yang bergerak pada bidang perakitan panel elektronik. Usaha yang berfokus pada perakitan dari komponen-komponen yang telah dipesan dari berbagai sumber yang akhirnya disatukan hingga menjadi produk sendiri dari usaha ini. Dalam melakukan pekerjaan, sulit untuk menghindari pengenaan beban berat di bagian belakang. Untuk menganalisa postur kerja, dapat menggunakan metode Rapid Upper Limb Assesment (RULA). Sehingga dapat mnegetahui postur kerja yang dijalani berdampak tidaknya pada kelelahan yang berujung kepada hasil kerja. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode Rula menunjukkan bahwa dari Responden yang merupakan Operator Global Teknik, semua operator berada pada level resiko “Sedang” dengan nilai skor akhir diperoleh 3-4. Dilihat dari hasil pengamatan dilapangan dan penilaian RULA peneliti memberikan rekomendasi posisi duduk yang baik berdasarkan analisis RULA menggunakan Sofrware Catia V5R21.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the polisher machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method at PB. Surya Agung. The methods used in this study are the Pareto diagram and the cause-and-effect diagram (fishbone). The results of this study found that at PB. Surya Agung with the six big Loss method, six losses were obtained, including breakdown Loss, Setup and Adjustment Loss, idling and Minor Stoppage, Reduce Speed Loss, Defect Loss, Yield / Scrap Loss. The results of data processing obtained an average Overall Equipment Effectiveness value for 7 months in the period from January to July 2023 obtained a value of 65%, this value has not reached the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance standard. The factor that has the largest percentage of the Six Big Losses factor on the polisher machine is Reduce Speed Losses with a value of 27%. which causes a decrease in machine effectiveness, this is because the machine / equipment and humans have not implemented the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concept.

Abstract

Pekopen MSMEs produce banana chips that always strive to produce good products, but in fact they still find some products produced are not in accordance with standards. These problems can be solved using nP control maps, Ishikawa diagrams, and process capabilities, as well as calculations using minitab software. By using some of these methods, it is expected to find the factors that cause product defects. There are several variables to assess the defects of banana chip products, including shape, color, and size variables. The results of this study show the factors that cause defects in banana chip products, namely method factors caused by the manual banana chip cutting process, inaccurate selection of raw materials, manual frying process, and manual packaging process. In addition, it was found that the level of specifications and standards for process capabilities was not less than 95% and no more than 3% of the inability of MSMEs to produce banana chips in accordance with specifications and standards.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that produces automotive components, especially Bearings. One factor that affects product quality and worker safety during the production process is human error. Addressing this problem requires a systematic approach to identify potential errors and create a corrective plan. The Systematic Human Error Reduction and Prediction Approach (SHERPA), which combines Hierarchical Task Analysis (HTA) and Human Error Identification (HEI), is one approach that can be used. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of human errors that occur during the Bearing production process. Action errors and checking errors were identified as the most frequent types of errors, based on observations and interviews. The analysis resulted in an improvement plan that includes close supervision on the production line, adequate rest periods, not rushing when operating machines, and consistently following regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). It is hoped that the results of this study will help the company reduce human errors and improve efficiency and safety on the production line.

Abstract

Antrian merupakan masalah yang hampir selalu dtemukan, salah satu masalah antrian yang sering ditemui adalah di supermarket atau minimarket salah satunya adalah Alfamidi yang terletak di jl.HS Ronggo Waluyo Karawang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui optimalisasi sistem antrian, jumlah pelanggan dalam antrian, waktu yang dihabiskan pelanggan dalam antrian, waktu yang dihabiskan dalam sistem dan pemanfaatn sistem antrian di Alfamidi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif, Analisis data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil pengujian pada data penelitian yang dilakukan di Alfamidi diperoleh pola kedatangan pelanggan berdistribusi Poisson dan waktu pelayanan berdistribusi Eksponensial. Pembeli dilayani oleh 2 server dengan peraturan pelanggan pertma dilayani lebih dahulu serta kapasitas sistem dan sumber yang takterbatas. Berdasarkan notasi Kendall sistem antrian pada server di Alfamert mengikuti model M/M/1. dapat diketahui rata-rata laju kedatangan pembeli adalah λ = 0,28 dan 0,30 kedatangan permenit. Rata-rata laju pelayanan pembeli adalah μ = 1,13 dan 1,56 menit pelayanan perorang. Rata-rata dalam 1 jam jumlah pembeli yang menunggu dalam antrian sebelum mendapatkan pelayanan adalah 0,0327 dan 0,002 (1) pembeli. rata-rata waktu yang dihabiskan seorang dalam antrian 0,12 dan 0,006 menit. Rata-rata waktu yang dihabiskan oleh seorang pembeli dari awal memasuki antrian sampai selesai dilayani adalah sekitar 1,0049 dan 0,65 menit. Rata-rata dalam satu jam jumlah total pembeli yang sedang berada dalam antrian dan pembeli yang sedang dilayani adalah 0,281 dan 0,19 (1) pembeli. Peluang tidak adanya pembeli atau peluang loket pelayanan mengganggur yaikni 59,98 % dan 81,81 %.

Abstract

Anniversary damage in the stamping process is a critical problem that can affect product quality and hinder smooth production in the automotive industry. This study aims to identify the main cause of damage to the OP10 Anniversary of the RR W/House Inn RR L/R (RH) at PT. Adyawinsa Indonesia Summit and formulate the right improvement steps to reduce the frequency of breakdowns. The research uses a case study approach through direct observation, structured interviews with Maintenance Tooling personnel, as well as analysis of OEE data and damage history for the period June–December 2024. The data were analyzed using the Root Cause Analysis method (Fishbone Diagram and 5 Why) as well as technical evaluation on the insert dies component. The results showed that scratch defects  in parts were caused by damage to the blank holder insert in the form of pin holes and peeling hardchrome layers, which was exacerbated by less effective preventive maintenance and technical inspections that were only visual. This condition caused 39 breakdown events with a total downtime of 41 hours. Repair recommendations are carried out through insert redesign, precision machining, hardening process, re-hard chrome, and improvement of inspection flow and tooling monitoring. In conclusion, improving the quality of inserts and strengthening the preventive maintenance system has been proven to be able to reduce the potential for repeated damage and increase the reliability of the stamping process.

Abstract

Welding in the heat exchanger fabrication process is a critical stage that determines structural integrity and operational safety, but internal defects are still often found that cannot be detected visually. This study was conducted to identify the type of welding defect in the Heat Exchanger Project DXXXX and analyze the causative factors based on ASME Section V and VIII standards. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative method through direct observation of the welding process, Radiography Test documentation, and interviews with Quality Control personnel during field work practice activities. The results showed that out of 279 radiographic films examined at 29 connection points, 31 defects were found consisting of two main types, namely slag inclusion and porosity. Slag inclusion defects are the most dominant finding and are influenced by human factors and work methods, while porosity defects are mainly caused by inaccuracies in methods related to the regulation and use of shielding gas. These findings indicate that inconsistencies in welding procedures, suboptimal material preparation, and inconsistent process control contribute significantly to the occurrence of defects. This study concludes that the Radiography Test is able to provide a comprehensive picture of the quality of weld joints and the defect patterns that occur in heat exchanger fabrication. Recommendations include improving operator competence, reviewing welding procedures according to ASME standards, improving QC supervision, and regular calibration of welding equipment to minimize the recurrence of defects in the welding process in the future

Abstract

A manufacturing company that produces automotive components has recorded the auto assembly lever holder machine as the automatic machine with the highest failure frequency throughout 2024. This condition disrupts the smooth operation of the production process and results in decreased production output, often failing to meet company targets. In response to this situation, this study was conducted to estimate the reliability and optimize the maintenance policy of the auto assembly lever holder machine. The study employed a black-box failure modelling approach. A probabilistic approach was also applied by utilizing Weibull distribution properties to estimate system reliability and optimize the machine's maintenance strategy. Based on the conducted analysis, the machine has a cumulative failure probability of over 50% at 300 operating hours, indicating a high tendency for failure. The optimization of the maintenance policy considered both the periodic replacement policy and repair count policy. The optimized maintenance policy for the auto assembly lever holder machine recommends preventive maintenance every 522.305 hours at a lower maintenance cost of Rp 20,680 per hour. Replacement actions are only applied to the critical component. These findings provide a data-driven basis for optimizing machine maintenance strategies and reducing unplanned downtime, thereby improving machine reliability and productivity.

Abstract

The company has a raw material warehouse to carry out its production process, but the warehouse needs to be optimized because employees experience limited access to raw materials and the current warehouse layout is still not optimal. This research was conducted to find out the proposed improvements to the raw material warehouse layout so that the company can optimize the function of the existing raw material warehouse within the company. The Shared Storage Method can be used in layout design by arranging storage areas according to the condition of the warehouse floor area. The shared storage method assists in optimizing product storage time so that you can find out when the product will enter and leave the warehouse storage area. The proposals obtained influenced increasing the previous warehouse capacity. There was an increase in capacity of 21.5%. The proposals obtained influenced increasing the previous warehouse capacity. The results of the research on the application of the design for the new layout, at one level, have a warehouse capacity of 33 pallets with ± 14 tons of product. However, by optimizing warehouse capacity by adding one level above it, the warehouse capacity can be doubled, namely 66 pallets with 28 tons of product with product placement between the first and second levels of the same level. The use of warehouse layouts is intended for new image layouts from this study.
