Abstract

PT. Ariake Europe Indonesia is one of the companies that has a focus on the food seasoning industry. The seasoning products produced by the company are Chicken Meat Powder and Kril Extract, these products are condiments that have the flavor of chicken. then the seasonings that have been produced are distributed to various retail or spice mix shops in the Jabodetabek area, apart from the Indonesian market, this company is also distributed to Japan. In carrying out the production process, the company always needs raw materials, while in the inventory of these raw materials, unexpected problems often occur, such as a shortage of raw materials which causes the production process to not run smoothly and employees are forced to be transferred to other production departments to work on this type of production. other spices. In addition, there has been an overproduction which resulted in the capacity in the warehouse being piled up. Therefore, to avoid bottlenecks in the production process, it must be balanced with the availability of good (optimal) raw materials. Based on the existing background, it can be formulated the problem that wants to be raised, namely "Analyzing the flow of the inventory control system for raw material ingredients for food preparation from raw materials to finished goods (finish good) PT. Ariake Europe Indonesia".

Abstract

PT. Autoplastic Indonesia is a manufacturing company that produces various automotive components made from plastic. PT. Autoplastic Indonesia uses 3 lines, namely the plastic injection line, painting line, and assembling line. However, there is damage to the mold that causes a line stop or the production process stop, so that it can cost time and material. With this research, it is expected d to find out the causes and consequences of problems that occur in the mold system that is used as a mold to make these products so that repairs can be made to damage quickly and permanently and there will be no long and detrimental line stops. The results of this study indicate that the damage experienced by this mold affects the production process and causes defects in the product in the form of silver defects caused by operators who are negligent in checking the conditions that occur. This silver defect arises due to delays in filling the material in the hopper and is also caused by damp material

Abstract

The development of the manufacturing industry gives rise to global competition. The characteristics of the competition force the company to achieve world class performance through continuous improvement. The application of continuous improvement resulted in several methods, such as total preventive maintenance, total quality maintenance and just in time. One of the most frequently used method developments is total preventive maintenance (TPM). According to Mobley (2016) defines TPM as a comprehensive maintenance strategy based on a tool life cycle approach that can minimize equipment damage, production defects and work accidents. TPM involves everyone in the organization, from top level management to technicians. PT. Otscon Safety Indonesia is an auto parts supplier company. Currently PT Otscon Safety Indonesia produces automotive components for almost all leading automotive manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki and Astra Daihatsu Motor. To produce products that have good quality, PT Otscon Safety Indonesia always pays attention to the room, tools, materials and operators in it. The tools used by PT Otscon Safety Indonesia to produce their products use high-tech tools. To operate it requires an operator who must understand every step in the production process.

Abstract

PT ABC is one of the companies engaged in logistics with a high potential for work accidents as a result of the many types of raw materials stored, such as chemical raw materials, as well as the use of heavy equipment such as forklifts and storage of goods on high shelves. Several work-related accidents have occurred in the warehouse area which resulted in injury to workers or damage to equipment, such as collisions with tools or goods and fires due to electrical short circuits. In addition, several other risks also occur, such as low back pain caused by manual lifting of goods, damage to walls or buildings due to being bumped or hit by a forklift. This study aims to determine how high the level of work accidents at PT ABC is and how prevention needs to be done to avoid these accidents. The method used in this research is Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) to find out how high the level of work hazard or accident is. The results of this study indicate that there are 10 potential work accidents at PT ABC, where the process of moving goods and stuffing is a job that has the highest rate of work accidents.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces gaskets and rockwool in it. Departments at PT. XYZ is one of them is the assembly section, where the assembly is still done manually. Examples include hammering, cutting, and even pulling which can pose a work risk if done continuously. The work in this section is done sitting for 8 hours every day. Every day workers are required to be able to work to achieve the targets given by the company. Researchers used the NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) method. This method is carried out by distributing questionnaires to workers to be able to find out the mental workload that workers feel while doing work. This method is based on six dimensions namely Mental, Physical, Time, Performance, Effort and Frustration. There were 5 respondents who were asked to fill out this questionnaire. The results of this study were 41% of workers with "High" mental workload levels and the remaining 59% of workers with "Very High" workload levels. The lowest NASA-TLX score was 63.33 and the highest was 91.93.

Abstract

In the industrial world, ergonomics is an important aspect that needs to be implemented. In view of work accidents often occur in a company. Ergonomics aspect is useful to minimize the occurrence of accidents due to work. PT X Karawang is a company engaged in fabrication and machining. The rate of work accidents in the company is quite high. Therefore, this study aims to identify whether the application of ergonomic aspects in the production and machining work area at PT X Karawang has been carried out optimally or not, due to the high level of work accidents that occur in the company. This research was conducted using the ILO (International Labor Organization) Ergonomic Checkpoint method by assessing 132 questions regarding the sub-aspects of material storage, suitability of tool sizes, production machine safety, lighting in the work area, hazards in the work environment, and others by ticking the criteria "good" and "not good". The results showed that as many as 78 sub-aspects in the work area of ​​the production and machining section of PT X Karawang obtained the "good" criteria, and 23 sub-aspects received the "not good" criteria, namely not meeting occupational health and safety standards. Suggestions for improvement for each sub-aspect of the 23 sub-aspects that get a "not good" score have been given to improve the application of ergonomics aspects at PT X Karawang

Abstract

Salah satu bagian yang terkena imbas akibat kenaikan jumlah produksi mobil di PT. TMMIN (PT. Toyota Motors Manufacturing Indonesia) adalah seksi logistic welding yang bertanggung jawab atas kelancaran supply komponen (part) ke lini produksi.Beberapa hal yang menjadi masalah bagi seksi logistic welding ini di antaranya adalah: (1) kebutuhan area untuk penyimpanan alat bantu supply part yang makin luas karena jumlah kebutuhan alat bantu yang makin banyak, dan (2) area kerja operator pengirim part yang makin luas akibat makin luasnya area penyimpanan alat supply part yang ada, sehingga operator cepat mengalami overload dan kelelahan.Untuk mengatasi masalah di atas, diusulkan untuk mengganti alat bantu pengiriman part yang digunakan saat ini (dolly attachment) dengan alat bantu dolly karakuri. Dengan penggantian alat bantu tersebut, maka efisiensi dan produktivitas perusahaan mengalami peningkatan, dimana semua input yang terkait dengan pengiriman part mengalami penurunan.

Abstract

Selain mencetak uang rupiah Republik Indonesia, Perusahaan juga mencetak beberapa produk sekuriti, seperti cetakan kertas berharga non-uang, contohnya pita cukai hasil tembakau, paspor, perangko, materai dan benda pos berharga lainnya, security seals, ijasah, STTB, airline ticket, dokumen perbankan, stiker kaset, stiker video dan CD, serta berbagai jenis stiker, dan juga logam non-uang, seperti stempel tera, stempel cetak, medali, key holder, piagam, lencana, tropi, printing roll. Untuk mengevaluasi produktivitas pada mesin GTS khususnya pada bagian Verifikasi Pita Cukai maka perlu dilakukan tingkat pengukuran produktivitas secara baik dan benar, karena ukuran tingkat produktivitas ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dan penambahan fasilitas mesin produksi dan tenaga kerja yang akan mendukung aktivitas perusahaan. Pokok masalah yang dibahas dalam hal ini adalah bagaimana mengukur tingkat produktivitas mesin GTS pada proses produksi Pita Cukai dengan pendekatan rasio. Metode pengukuran produktivitas yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan rasio, di mana langkah-langkah dalam hal ini mengacu pada langkah-langkah pendekatan rasio yaitu perbandingan antara efektivitas dan efisiensi. Abstract

Permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh PT. XYZ adalah masalah kualitas pada benang cotton jenis Ne 40S. Perusahaan saat ini tidak menggunakan metode tertentu untuk memperbaiki kualitas benang cotton Ne 40S. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Six sigma dengan tahapan DMAIC (Deffine, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) untuk memberikan perbaikan pada PT. XYZ. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya perubahan nilai sigma sebesar 0,185, perubahan DPMO (Defects per million opportunities) sebesar 15.742,926 dan perubahan COPQ (Cost of poor quality) sebesar 30%. Perubahan angka pada penelitian ini menunjukan tahapan DMAIC mampu memberikan usulan yang lebih baik dalam perbaikan kualitas benang cotton Ne 40S.

Abstract

PT. Merck Chemicals and Life Science terdiri dari beberapa departemen yang saling terkait dan secara terpadu berusaha mewujudkan tujuan perusahaan Dikarenakan belum adanya peramalan pada permintaan suku cadang, dan juga jenis dan jumlah dari produk peralatan yang banyak. Dengan begitu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan masalah persediaan suku cadang yang dihadapi PT. MCLS. Pada penelitian ini, pengendalian persediaan suku cadang akan menggunakan metode ABC, yang mana akan membagi suku cadang yang ada kedalam 3 kelompok berdasarkan nilai jual tertinggi diantara suku cadang yang lain dan tingkat kebutuhannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan perencanaan persediaan suku cadang di PT. Merck Chemicals and Life Science sangat diperlukan, mengingat belum adanya perencanaan persediaan suku cadang di perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil pengklasifikasian ABC pada hasil penjualan suku cadang, PT. MCLS dapat memprioritaskan untuk memesan suku cadang kelompok A dikarenakan kelompok suku cadang A bernilai 56% dari seluruh penjualan suku cadang dengan menjual 33% dari total permintaan suku cadang yang ada pada periode Juli 2018 hingga Maret 2020.
