Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the SETS model in improving concept understanding and describe the increase in concept understanding after learning using the SETS model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), the design used is the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The participants in this research were 26 class V students at SDN 06 Cisande, consisting of 15 boys and 11 girls. Data collection techniques use observation and test techniques. The results of research on the application of the SETS model during the pre-cycle of teacher and student activities were 25% in the poor category. In cycle 1, teacher activities with an average score of 67% were in the good category, while student activities with an average score of 65% were in the good category. Then it increased in cycle II, teacher activity with an average score of 81 got the very good category and student activity with an average score of 80 got the very good category. The results of research on understanding pre-cycle concepts show completeness of 25%. Then it increased in cycle I to reach 50% completeness. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the results showed that completion reached 86%. Understanding of concepts taken from group practicum method scores, Pre-cycle UAS scores were only 25% in the good category, cycle I after applying the practicum-based SETS model was 58% in the quite good category. In cycle II it became 85% in the very good category. Based on these two cycles, it can be seen that there is an increase in teacher and student activity as well as students' understanding of concepts by implementing the practicum-based SETS model.

Abstract

This research is based on the low writing ability of first grade students at SDN 3 Ciracap. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation, and results of hand skills production activities (plaiting, origami, and squeezing) to improve initial writing skills in research subjects. The researcher used the classroom action research method first grade students at SDN 3 Ciracap with a total of 30 people. The research was conducted from February 2023 to June 2023 at SDN 3 Ciracap, Ciracap District. Data collecting techniques used was: tests, observations, and literature studies, then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that before being given action, students' writing skills tend to be low where students cannot write neatly, the letters used are wrong, the spelling is not correct, and students do not write complete sentences. After giving the action (cycle II) the students' initial writing ability was assessed to increase significantly by practicing the production of hand skills (plaiting, origami, and squeezing). Students can write neatly, the letters used are correct, the spelling is correct, and students write complete sentences. The average value of students' initial writing ability in the pre-cycle was 45.53 with a classical completeness percentage of 0% with low criteria. In cycle I the average value obtained was 58.20 with a classical completeness percentage of 3.33% with moderate criteria. Whereas in cycle II the average value obtained was 85.07 with a 100% classical completeness percentage with very high criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kreativitas siswa di kelas IV pada pembelajaran seni rupa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru dan siswa, serta mendeskripsikan peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya seni rupa berbasis sampah anorganik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK desainnya Kemmis & M. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam II siklus untuk tahapannya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SDN Mekarjaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan cara observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen  yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, lembar observasi  kreativitas siswa, pre-test dan post-tes. Hasil penelitian pada pelaksanaan aktivitas guru pada siklus I tercapai 52% dan siklus II tercapai 86%, sedangkan pada aktivitas siswa siklus I tercapai 51% dan siklus II tercapai 80%. Peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya seni rupa berbasis sampah anorganik dari bubur kertas siklus I tercapai 32% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 100%. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa pelaksanaan aktivitas guru dan siswa serta peningkatan kreativitas siswa pada aspek kemampuan menghasilakn ide, elaborasi dan orsinalitas mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and develop data on lecturers who have published data and home indexing on the Google Scholar Index and intellectual records at the Director General of Information and Communication Technology; utilizing the google scholar home index citation database and online intellectual property center; Indexing of lecturers' works in the Google Scholar home and obtaining Intellectual Property Rights. This research method is research and development according to Brog & Gall (1989) in Lyesmaya (2015:15) in the implementation of research and development there are several methods used, namely descriptive, evaluative, and experimental methods. The research results are; 1) Implementation of the home scholar Index in the PGMI study program reaches 75%, 2) Intellectual property rights for online lecturers and patents to protect their work, 3) and publication of research results in international journals, and 4) Intellectual Property Rights. The results of this study recognize the achievement of goals in university milestones to support World Class University in the 4.0 era, the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) personally by lecturers is able to encourage the realization of World Class University in the publishing aspect in the world wide system, the Google Scholar Index of 93.3%, then author Sinta ID by 66.7% and finally the utilization of broadcasting Intellectual Property Rights by 86.7%.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kreativitas siswa kelas III sekolah dasar dalam membuat karya dekoratif pada mata pelajaran SBdP. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas III sekolah dasar dalam membuat karya dekoratif pada mata pelajaran SBdP melalui penerapan model project based learning (PjBL). Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri Puncaksuji yang berjumlah 28 orang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas desain Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil observasi kreativitas siswa diperoleh hasil bahwa pada pra siklus, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 66 kemudian meningkatkan menjadi 79 pada siklus I. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan kembali menjadi 82. Dari pra siklus ke siklus I terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 13 dan dari siklus I ke siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 3. Selain nilai rata-rata, persentase ketuntasan klasikal juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada pra siklus, persentase ketuntasan klasikal yang diperoleh adalah 50% kemudian meningkatkan menjadi 71% pada siklus I. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan kembali menjadi 89%. Dari pra siklus ke siklus I terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 21 dan dari siklus I ke siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 18%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya dekoratif.

Abstract

Education is a conscious effort made by educators to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students are more active in developing their potential, intelligence, personality, noble character, and skills needed when in society. Developing the potential of students who are creative, knowledgeable, independent, and become democratic citizens can be achieved through subjects at school, one of which is through Social Sciences (Social Science) subjects. IPS learning is one of the main subjects at the elementary school level. IPS education has a fairly broad range of material, because IPS education covers social symptoms and life problems in society. Social studies education helps students in solving the problems they face so that it will make them understand and understand the social environment of the community more. Given that, students' abilities differ, especially in terms of remembering. So that we need a learning model with a method that fits the criteria of elementary school students who are still synonymous with the word play, interact and have fun. Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility and effectiveness of smart box media in learning science elementary school students. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) with Borg and Gall design. Researchers use different types of methods to collect data, such as observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The researchers used one group pretest-posttest experiment design. Experiments were conducted to test the effectiveness of smart box media in improving cognitive abilities in science learning. The results obtained from the needs analysis that has been done, using student response questionnaire, questionnaire practitioner / teacher, and questionnaire validation of experts can be concluded that the development of smart box media is getting a very decent category with the acquisition of value of 89% of the results of expert validation and 98% of the results of validation of practitioners. Then from the questionnaire the student's response was obtained by 90%. Analysis of the learning outcomes of the respondents became the subject of research, obtaining a score on the pretest 54 increased to 81 on the posttest, with an average value of 0.592 or 59% which is interpreted as moderate and quite effective. It can be concluded that the sets-based smart box media is included in the category of very feasible and can be used as auxiliary media in Learning Natural Sciences (IPA). Further research is needed in order to design learning process activities using sets-based smart box media in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of picture story media to improve the ability to read aloud in grade 4 elementary school students. This research took place in grade 4 students at Nagrak 1 Elementary School in Nagrak District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, consisting of 30 students. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Mc Taggart model research design which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, action and observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques use practical reading aloud tests, and non-tests in the form of observation, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative. Indicators for reading aloud consist of 1) pronunciation, 2) intonation, 3) reading speed, 4) pauses, 5) understanding of the material. Based on the comparative percentage of completeness of learning outcomes for each cycle, there is an increase in reading aloud skills after implementing picture story media, seen from the results of the percentage of completeness of students who meet the KKM (75) pre-cycle, namely 23% or 7 students, in the first cycle it is 57% or 17 students ,and cycle II amounted to 83% or 25 students. In the pre-cycle to cycle I there was an increase of 34.% and in cycle I to cycle II there was an increase of 26%, so providing action through these two cycles can improve students' ability to read aloud. Therefore, the application of picture story media succeeded in improving reading aloud skills and the research was stopped in cycle II based on predetermined success indicators.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur kelayakan dan efektivitas media pembelajaran website berbasis STEM EDP dalam meningkatkan literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE. Data diperoleh melalui angket, tes praktik, dan wawancara. Hasil validasi menunjukkan nilai 86% dari ahli dengan kategori sangat layak, 81% dari praktisi, dan 81% dari siswa dengan kategori layak. Literasi digital siswa meningkat signifikan, dengan rata-rata skor awal 20,67 menjadi 39,77 setelah menggunakan media, dan N-Gain sebesar 0,6436 atau 64% dengan kategori cukup efektif. Media ini terbukti layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of character education, specifically discipline and responsibility, in music learning during the CARITA performance at SD Negeri Cicadas, Sukabumi. These two aspects are fundamental in shaping a good individual character, both in school and in society. The subjects of the study consisted of 5 male students: 1 student from grade 4, 3 students from grade 5, and 1 student from grade 6. The selection of upper-grade students was intended to make it easier for them to understand abstract values such as harmony, tempo, and dynamics in playing the gamelan, and the music curriculum aligns with the teaching materials. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving the collection of primary data through observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as secondary data from references such as journals. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that in the music learning process for the CARITA performance, the values of discipline and responsibility were evident in the students, both during the activities and the actual performance.
