Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interactive learning media based on Math Playground on student learning outcomes on fraction materials in class IV SDN Kedung Dalem III. The problem studied is whether there is a significant influence between the use of interactive learning media based on Math Playground on student learning outcomes in grade IV SDN Kedung Dalem III. This study uses a quantitative method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study were fourth grade students of SDN Kedung Dalem III, totaling 17 students. The research instrument used is a test (Pretest-Postest) of student learning outcomes on fraction material, which consists of 10 multiple choice questions. The results of the analysis using the wilcoxon test show that the sig value (2 tailed) is 0.000 which indicates significance <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that the interactive learning media Math Playground has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that Math Playground interactive learning media can improve student learning outcomes on fraction material. Therefore, teachers and educators can use Math Playground as an alternative learning media to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by teachers at SD Negeri 1 Probolinggo City who are less innovative in learning methods found that students have difficulty in understanding the concept of photosynthesis because the learning methods used are still conventional, relying only on Student Worksheets (LKS) and lectures causing a lack of active participation of students in the learning process and the low critical thinking skills of students. This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR) based diorama learning media on photosynthesis material in IPAS subjects to improve understanding and critical thinking skills of grade IV students at SDN Pilang 1 Probolinggo City. This research aims to develop augmented reality-based diorama media on photosynthesis material. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The results showed that AR-based diorama media was effective in improving students' understanding of the photosynthesis process as well as their critical thinking skills. The validation level measured from the material obtained 90.90% while the media obtained 91.66%. Students become more active in learning, easier to understand abstract concepts, and more capable of analyzing and interesting.

Abstract

This research is conducted due to the low ability of students to understand the material in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (P5) project learning and the lack of innovative teaching tools used by educators, which leads to students' lack of enthusiasm during classroom learning. The purpose of this developmental research is to produce teaching materials for the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (P5) project subject aimed at creating comprehensive and meaningful learning experiences for students, with a focus on strengthening the understanding of the values of Pancasila Sustainable Lifestyle. This research method utilizes the Research and Development model according to Borg and Gall. The research procedure includes preliminary research and data collection, product planning, development of initial product format, initial field testing, product revision, main field testing, revision of operational field testing products, and refinement of the final product as the ultimate outcome. The research subjects include two content experts and one media expert for validation testing. Data collection techniques employ questionnaires or surveys. The data type is qualitative descriptive. The final score from the assessment by the content expert is a form of evaluation conducted by content expert I on the aspect of the objectives of the developed LKS product, yielding an average score of 5. This data, when interpreted, indicates that in terms of the objectives of the product developed by the researcher, it falls within the criteria of "excellent" and shows results without revisions. The assessment conducted by the instructional material expert on this aspect of the LKS product developed by the researcher also obtained an average score of 5. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the worksheets with the theme "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" for fifth-grade students at Ngadisari Elementary School in Probolinggo are suitable for use.

Abstract

Learning media such as Pop Up Books based on local wisdom in thematic learning can be an important tool for teachers to overcome students' lack of enthusiasm and responsiveness to learning materials at school. Pop Up Books are not only valid and easy to use, but also practical as teaching materials for elementary school students. Its advantage lies in its attractiveness through 3D images that match the material, creating an interesting learning experience. In addition, the connection with local wisdom allows students to share knowledge about their local traditions, increasing interaction and exchange of information between them. Research also enables the development of innovative ideas that can be applied in educational contexts. One type of research that can be carried out is R&D research and development using the Borg & Gall development model which is narrowed down into 7 steps according to research needs. The results of the small group trial assessment showed that the media developed received a positive response (yes) of 96.6% and a negative response (no) of 6.6%. Evaluation of large group trials, the media that has been developed received a positive response of 98%, while a negative response was 8%. The results of the trials that have been carried out state that the Pop Up Book media is suitable for use in grade III elementary schools based on local wisdom that upholds the values ​​contained therein. The development of Pop Up Book Learning Media can be concluded that the media has received a good response from validators and respondents. The assessment from media experts showed a media value of 45, with a percentage reaching 80%, without any revisions, from material experts the media value was 58, with a percentage reaching 96.6% after undergoing revisions, practicality experts with a revised practicality value of 41 with a percentage 74.54%. A small group trial of 3 students on the media that had been developed received a positive response of 98%, while a negative response was 8%. A large group trial of 10 students of the media that had been developed received a positive response of 98%, while a negative response of 8% was appropriate. to use.

Abstract

Based on the background that has been explained, the aim of this research is to develop a Life Skill-oriented Snowball Throwing learning model for class II students at SD Negeri Ngadisari 1. This research uses the Borg and Gall development model with the first stage being research and collecting initial information, then planning and developing initial product format, then make revisions if during validation there are things that need to be improved based on input and suggestions from the validator and carry out field trials. The results of this research show that the Life Skill-oriented Snowball Throwing learning model is very good, which can be seen from the validation results from validator experts and filling out questionnaires and responses from students. Based on the validation results, media experts got 93% and can be declared very good with several suggestions. Then the material expert validation can be a percentage of 96% and can be declared very good. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher's trial got 93% and the results of the trial with students got a response of 97%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pengembangan produk berupa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis wordwall dan juga untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan produk media pembelajaran wordwall pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VI SDN Mayangan 4 Kota Probolinggo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model Borg & Gall dengan modifikasi, diantaranya yaitu: tahap studi pendahuluan, tahap perancangan media interaktif, tahap pengembangan produk, tahap validasi dan uji coba terbatas, dan tahap revisi produk akhir pada pengembangan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VI SDN Mayangan 4 Kota Probolinggo. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: lembar validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, lembar praktisi pembelajaran, dan angket respon peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh presentase sebesar 95% oleh ahli media, ahli materi dengan presentase 93%, praktisi pembelajaran PPkn dengan presentase 90%, dan hasil rekapitulasi respon peserta didik dengan presentase 95%. Hasil penilaian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti valid dan praktis dengan revisi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Wordwall Pada Mata Pelajaran PPKn Tema 1 Subtema 1 Pembelajaran 2 dikatakan layak dan dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This research conducted in grade 1 of SDN Tamansari II, can be analyzed from the teaching and learning activities carried out, namely, lack of collaboration skills, many students tend to divert their gaze or have a low level of focus on the topic being explained, lack of understanding of syllable formation and have not applied the role playing learning model to students. Based on the background that has been explained, the purpose of this study is to develop the Role Playing-Make a Match model to improve the Collaboration Skills of grade 1 students with syllable material at SDN Tamansari II. The use of the role playing-make a match model in the learning process has proven its ability to improve collaboration skills according to its indicators, namely, actively contributing, actively in learning, productive, flexible, responsible, respecting each other. The purpose of this development is to produce a product in the form of a role playing-make a match model guidebook to improve collaboration skills that have been tested for feasibility, practicality, effectiveness based on assessments from material/content experts, learning models, practicality of learning, non-tests of students on indicators of collaboration skills. This study uses a development model using the steps of Borg and Gall with modifications, including: 1) Information collection, 2) Planning, 3) Product development, 4) Expert validation, 5) Field trials, 6) Final product. The instruments used include: validation sheets of material/content experts, learning models, practicality of learning, non-tests of students on indicators of collaboration skills. The results of the validation of material/content experts are ≥ 9. Learning model experts are ≥ 9.7, practicality of learning is 96%, the results of the non-test on the indicators of student collaboration skills are, 8 students often appear on the indicator points and 13 students appear quite often on the indicator points of collaboration skills. Showing that the role playing-make a match model developed is valid and feasible with revision. Based on the results of the study, the development of the role playing-make a match model to improve the collaboration skills of grade 1 students with syllable material has been valid because the percentage exceeds 81% practicality, effectiveness in improving indicators of collaboration skills. Therefore, the learning model is feasible and can be used in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research aim is to improve student achievement in the fourth grade social studies SDN Tamansari 4 Probolinggo City by using a scientific approach consisting of observing, asking, trying, reasoning and communicating. The method of this research is classroom action research (CAR) conducted collaboratively between researchers and teachers. The subjects consisted of 30 students with heterogeneous ability. The study was conducted for two cycles, each cycle consisting of two learning meetings. Technique of collecting data is done through observation, interview, documentation and also student achievement test. The results showed there was an increase, both seen from the aspect of participation in opinion, cooperation and complete the task. The result of the students test known in first cycle obtained the average of the class is 71 with the complete student of 22 students or 73,33%. In second cycle, the average class is 77,14 with the complete student of 25 students or 83% (learning mastery criteria ≥ 70). From the data can be interpreted that the application of scientific approach can improve student achievement in the subjects of social studies grade four SDN Tamansari 4 Probolinggo City. Abstract

Based on the researcher’s observations during an internship at SDN Malasan Wetan 1, Probolinggo Regency, many second-grade students were still unable to read fluently. This issue was due to the lack of teacher skills and innovation in teaching reading, as well as minimal parental involvement in developing students' reading skills. Additionally, teachers relied solely on textbooks provided by the school without utilizing supplementary learning media. This study aims to improve reading skills by implementing word card media in Indonesian language learning for second-grade students at SDN Malasan Wetan 1. Word card media consist of small cards containing words and pictures that serve as learning aids. Reading skills are measured based on three indicators: clarity, fluency, and pronunciation. This research follows a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, focusing on the classroom learning process through two cycles. The CAR stages include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study subjects were second-grade students, and data analysis employed both qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, tests, and documentation.The results showed that implementing word card media effectively improved students' reading skills. The average score increased from 60.59 with a 52.9% completion rate in cycle 1 to 79.41 with an 88.3% completion rate in cycle 2, indicating a 35.4% improvement. Therefore, word card media can enhance the reading skills of second-grade students at SDN Malasan Wetan 1.

Abstract

This study originated from the problem of many fourth grade students at SDN Jatiurip 1 who get low learning scores. In addition, in the teaching and learning process, the materials used are only LKS, without any variation of other teaching materials. Due to these various problems, the researcher planned to conduct research using the class action research method, to observe and improve the problems faced by fourth grade students. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in grade IV math at SDN Jatiurip 1 after the application of the PBL learning model using interactive quizzes. This type of research is a class action research (PTK) with a focus on class IV students consisting of 15 people. The model used in this research refers to Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The research was conducted in 2 cycles, and each cycle involved 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Based on the research conducted, in the first cycle, the level of student learning engagement reached 64.2%, while in the second cycle it increased to 83.93%. This increase was due to the use of interactive quiz after learning with PBL model. In addition, in cycle I, the average percentage of students who achieved learning standards was 46.6% of a total of 15 students, while in cycle II, the average learning outcomes increased to 86.6%. Student learning data was obtained from analyzing the pretest and posttest scores done by the students. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the interactive quiz-based PBL model proved effective in improving student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects about fractions worth.
