Abstract

This research’s aim to know the application model influence of snowball throwing to the result of learning mathematic at geometry material to 5th grade student group V Bengkulu City. This kind of research is quantitative research. The methods is Quasy Eksperimental with the design in the matching only pretest posttest contol group design. The population of the research is entire 5th Grade griup V elementary school Bengkulu City. The sampel in this research are divided in two group, that is 5th A grade student in elementary school 2 Bengkulu City as a eksperiment group, and 5th B 9 grade student in elementary school 9 Bengkulu City as a control group. The instrument is the result of learning of learning tes with multiple choicd that gift by pretest before the study is begin and posttestafter the study is over. The data will be analyzed with descripve and analysis, that T-test, the result is with the value of Tcountis 3,42 and the value of Ttabelis 1,997. So with Tcount>Ttable at significant 5%, so we can conclude that there is the application models influence of snowball throwing to the result of learning mathematic at geometry material to 5th grade student group V Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Pendidikan dan budaya adalah sesuatu yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Budaya pada hakikatnya merupakan hasil olah karya, rasa, dan cipta manusia yang berlaku dalam suatu masyarakat, sedangkan pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan mendasar bagi setiap inidividu. Etnomatematika merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk menjembatani antara budaya dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksplorasi etnomatematika dibengkulu sebagai sumber belajar matematika pada materi penyajian data dalam bentuk diagram batang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil eksplorasi menunjukkan bahwa dalam kebudayaan yang ada di Bengkulu terdapat unsur-unsur matematika yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar diantaranya adalah untuk mengajarkan materi penyajian data dalam bentuk diagram batang secara konkret. Sumber belajar tidak hanya bersumber dari buku-buku pelajaran saja, namun dapat didukung dari lingkungan maupun budaya setempat yang lebih bermakna bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Mathematics instruction in Indonesian elementary schools often relies on conventional, text-heavy worksheets that lack interactivity and contextual relevance. These limitations hinder students’ engagement, problem-solving development, and alignment with 21st-century competencies and Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P3). This study aims to identify the needs of teachers and students for a STEM-based, interactive E-Worksheet using Heyzine integrated with Problem-Based Learning (PBL). An exploratory sequential mixed-methods design was employed as the initial phase of a broader design-based research cycle. Quantitative data were collected from 22 fifth-grade teachers and 110 students across 11 public elementary schools in Bengkulu City through validated questionnaires. Qualitative insights were obtained from semi-structured interviews with five teachers. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and thematic coding. Findings reveal that less than half of students (47.27%) found existing worksheets clear and engaging. Teachers rated the current modules at 40–45% across core indicators, citing weak integration of STEM-PBL principles, low interactivity, and insufficient alignment with P3 values. Both students and teachers emphasized the need for multimedia-rich, contextually relevant materials that support inquiry and collaboration. The study highlights a significant gap between curricular goals and actual classroom practices. It underscores the urgency of developing interactive, multimodal digital worksheets using platforms like Heyzine to enhance student engagement, problem-solving skills, and teacher readiness for digital pedagogy.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the application of lesson study using Wordwall media in improving the quality of mathematics learning for grade 6 students. Learning methods in elementary schools are often still teacher-centred, so students tend to memorize without understanding the context. Lesson study is implemented through four stages: planning (plan), implementation (do), observation (see), and reflection (act). The research used a qualitative approach with a case study type, involving 10 grade 6 students as subjects. At the planning stage, the teacher prepares a Wordwall-based learning tool. The do stage involves implementing interactive learning. Observation (see) is carried out to observe student activities, while the reflection (action) stage is used to understand and improve learning strategies. The research results show a significant increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts, which is reflected in the average score which continues to increase in each cycle. Apart from that, students' active participation in discussions and collaboration has also increased. Implementing Wordwall helps create a more creative and innovative learning atmosphere, so that students are more motivated to learn. Thus, Lesson Study based on Wordwall media is effective in improving the quality of mathematics learning, both in terms of understanding concepts and active student involvement. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Google Sites –based interactive media using a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach on cognitive learning outcomes and students’ attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity among fifth-grade elementary school students, as well as to examine the correlation between these two variables. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Matching-Only Pretest–Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of class VA as the experimental group (20 students), class VB as the control group (20 students), and class VIA as the instrument try-out class. The research instruments included an essay test to measure cognitive learning outcomes and an observation sheet to assess attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and attitude questionnaires, while data analysis involved descriptive analysis, prerequisite testing, Independent Samples t-test, and Pearson correlation analysis. The results indicate that the use of Google Sites –based interactive media with a CRT approach has a significant effect on students’ cognitive learning outcomes and their attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity. Furthermore, a strong and positive correlation was found between cognitive learning outcomes and attitudes toward respecting cultural diversity. These findings suggest that integrating digital media with a CRT approach is effective in teaching Pancasila Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

SDIT Insan Mulia Kota Bengkulu merupakan sekolah yang diusulkan sebagai mitra kegiatan PPM IPTEKS. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan para guru di SDIT Insan Mulia diperoleh data bahwa siswa kelas I ternyata mengalami kendala dalam menyelesaikan operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Siswa masih sering salah hitung dalam  menyelesaikan soal matematika. Ditambah lagi jika soal berbentuk soal cerita juga akan membuat siswa semakin kesulitan untuk menyelesaikan soal. Menurut guru kelas I SDIT Insan  mulia, siswa kelas I cenderung tidak senang mata pelajaran matematika karena dianggap sulit dan membingungkan. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, tim dosen melakukan diskusi dengan guru di SDIT Insan Mulia. Selanjutnya alternatif solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah menerapkan jarimatika untuk konsep operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan di kelas I SDIT Insan Mulia. Fokus masalah yang harus diselesaikan melalui kegiatan PPM ini, yaitu melatih kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas I SDIT Insan Mulia dengan menggunakan metode jarimatika. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan PPM ini adalah guru kelas I dan siswa I di SDIT Insan Mulia. Kegiatan PPM ini menggunakan metode pendampingan dan pelatihan. Lembar tes, lembar wawancara, dan lembar observasi merupakan instrumen evaluasi kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah telah dilakukan kegiatan FGD barsama guru, tim dosen dan mahasiswa mengenai metode jarimatika. Selanjutnya dilaksanakan kegiatan praktik pembelajaran metode jarimatika kepada siswa kelas I SDIT Insan Mulia Kota Bengkulu. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan cacah menggunakan teknik jarimatika dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis STEAM-Etnomatematika terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV di Gugus XVII Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu dan desain Matching Only Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah SD Negeri Gugus XVII Kota Bengkulu. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas IVA SDN 11 dan kelas IVA SDN 04 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 butir. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji prasyarat dan analisis inferensial. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nilai rata-rata post-tes pada kelompok kontrol (58,42) dan kelompok eksperimen (75,45). Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai thitung = 3,621 dan ttabel = 1,685, sehingga thitung > ttabel (3,621 > 1,685). Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis STEAM-Etnomatematika berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD gugus XVII Kota Bengkulu

Abstract

The effective implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in elementary classrooms remains constrained by the limited availability of digital instructional materials that systematically integrate PBL syntax, science process skills, and visual learning media aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to develop a PBL-based electronic student e-worksheet assisted by Canva and to examine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving fourth-grade students’ science process skills. This study employed a research and development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants consisted of 22 fourth-grade students (n = 22) at SD Negeri 05 Kepahiang, Indonesia. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, observations, interviews, and science process skills tests. Data analysis involved Aiken’s V for content validity and N-Gain analysis to measure the effectiveness of the intervention. The findings indicate that the developed E-worksheet demonstrates high validity across content, language, and graphical aspects, with Aiken’s V values ranging from 0.83 to 1.00. The effectiveness analysis shows a high improvement in students’ science process skills, with an average N-Gain score of 0.90. In addition, positive responses from both teachers and students confirm the practicality and usability of the E-worksheet in classroom implementation. This study concludes that the PBL-based E-worksheet assisted by Canva is a valid, practical, and effective digital instructional tool for enhancing elementary students’ science process skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using Problem Based Learning (PBL)-based e-LKPD assisted by the Liveworksheet application on students’ cognitive learning outcomes and responsibility attitudes in the topic Norms in My Life for fifth-grade students at SDN 44 Bengkulu City, as well as to examine the relationship between cognitive learning outcomes and students’ responsibility attitudes. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of an experimental class that used PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet and a control class that used conventional learning. Data collection techniques included cognitive learning outcome tests and responsibility attitude questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-test, N-Gain test, and Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the use of PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet had a significant effect on students’ cognitive learning outcomes with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 7.179. In addition, the use of PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet also had a significant effect on students’ responsibility attitudes with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 3.632. The correlation test results indicated a very strong and significant positive relationship between cognitive learning outcomes and students’ responsibility attitudes, with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.931. Therefore, the use of PBL-based e-LKPD assisted by Liveworksheet was effective in improving elementary school students’ cognitive learning outcomes and responsibility attitudes.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop a Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in thematic learning using a scientific approach to develop environmental awareness and creativity for elementary school students. The method used is development research. The results of the research that have been achieved are (1) mapping the themes and sub-themes of class IV and class V, (2) thematic learning devices using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model using the scientific approach in class IV and Class V SD, and (3) instruments authentic assessment to assess environmental care and creativity. Abstrak: tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran tematik menggunakan pendekatan saintifik untuk mengembangkan sikap peduli lingkungan dan kreativitas bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai adalah: (1) pemetaan tema dan subtema kelas IV dan kelas V, (2) perangkat pembelajaran tematik dengan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada kelas IV dan Kelas V SD, dan (3) instrumen penilaian otentik untuk menilai sikap peduli lingkungan dan kreativitas.
