Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study was to find out whether or not there was any significant differencein English speaking performance of the 11th grade students of SMA Methodist 2 Palembang after being taught using Edmodo. The sample of this study was 26 eleventh grade students of SMA Methodist 2 Palembang which were taken by using convenience sampling method from the total of 136 students. This study used within- group experimental design that is one group pretest-posttest design. Two raters did the scoring for the students’ pre-test and post-test based on the rubric provided by the researcher. To collect the data, the students were given a pretest and a posttest. The  data were analyzed by using paired sample t test. The result showed: (1) there was a significant improvement in students’ speaking skill after they were taught by using Edmodo (mean diff=7.23; p-value=.000). The mean score of each aspect of speaking skill in the posttest was higher than in the pretest and p-value were <0.05, and (2) the majority of the students agreed that Edmodo was effective to use. In conclusion, Edmodo can be used to improve student’s speaking skill Key words: speaking Achievement, Edmodo, eleventh graders

Abstract

The Research aims to knowing system, sales procedures and cash receipts in support of internal control at PT. Astra International, Tbk AUTO 2000 Malang Sutoyo by attention to the elements of internal control. The type of research used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The focus taken in the research is the system and sales procedures and cash receipts on vehicle sales cash and credit, spare parts sales, vehicle service and internal control at PT. Astra International, Tbk AUTO 2000 Malang Sutoyo, which address at Letjend Sutoyo No. 25 Malang. The steps of data analysis are, analyzing the accounting system and procedures sales and cash receipts, then analyzing the accounting system and sales procedures and cash receipts in supporting internal control by attention to the elements of internal control. The results of the research show that the system and procedures sales and cash receipts at PT. Astra International, Tbk AUTO 2000 Malang Sutoyo has been well implemented, but there are still some weaknesses. The weaknesses are system and procedures sales and cash receipts, there are still double functions and then at internal control is employee rotations that have not been carried out routinely and there are no surprising inspection Kеywords: System and Procedures Sales and Cash Receipts, Internal Control АBSTRАK Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem dan prosedur penjualan dan penerimaan kas dalam mendukung pengendalian intern pada PT. Astra International, Tbk AUTO 2000 Malang Sutoyo dengan memperhatikan unsur-unsur pengendalian intern. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Fokus yang diambil dalam penelitian yaitu sistem dan prosedur penjualan dan penerimaan kas pada penjualan kendaraan baik tunai maupun kredit, penjualan sparepart, service kendaraan serta pengendalian intern pada PT. Astra International, Tbk AUTO 2000 Malang Sutoyo, yang beralamat di Jalan Letjend Sutoyo No. 25 Malang. Tahapan analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu, menganalisis sistem akuntansi dan prosedur penjualan dan penerimaan kas, kemudian menganalisis sistem akuntansi dan prosedur penjualan dan penerimaan kas dalam mendukung pengendalian intern dengan memperhatikan unsur-unsur pengendalian intern. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dan prosedur penjualan dan penerimaan kas pada PT. Astra International, Tbk AUTO 2000 Malang Sutoyo sudah diterapkan dengan baik, akan tetapi masih terdapat beberapa kelemahan. Kelemahan tersebut antara lain pada sistem dan prosedur penjualan dan penerimaan kas masih terdapat beberapa perangkapan fungsi serta pada pengendalian intern yaitu rotasi karyawan belum dilakukan secara rutin dan tidak ada pemeriksaan yang dilakukan secara mendadak. Abstract

ABSTRACTBased on the learning activities of Class I students of SDN 45 Pulau Karam in PKN subjects it was found that student learning activities in PKN subjects were still very low. The purpose of this study is to describe and obtain information about Increasing Student Learning Activities in PKN subjects through cooperative learning models Think Talk Write in Class I SDN 45 Pulau Karam, West Pasaman District. This research is a classroom action research. The research procedures in this study include planning, action, observation and reflection. This study consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 30 Class I students at SDN 45 Karam Island. The research data was collected using an observation sheet. Data were analyzed using percentages. Based on the results of the research and discussion presented in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that it can be concluded that the type of cooperative learning learning model Think Talk Write can improve student learning activities in PKN subjects at SDN 45 Karam Island. Student learning activities in the first cycle were 71.73 (sufficient) to increase to 82.23 (good) with an increase of 10.5.

Abstract

Beban kerja merupakan sejumlah target pekerjaan atau hasil yang harus dicapai dalam suatu satuan waktu, dimanaseluruh kegiatan atau aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh seorang perawat selama bertugas disuatu unit pelayanankeperawatan yang merujuk pada jumlah prosedur dan pemeriksaan kunjungan pada pasien. Tujuan penelitian iniadalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kinerja perawat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalahAnalitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 130responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Exhaustive Sampling dimana semua jumlah populasi dijadikansampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini, menujukkan bahwa Hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji chi-squarediperoleh nilai p = 0,011, karena nilai p value < 0,05 maka ada pengaruh beban kerja direct care terhadap kinerjaperawat. Hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p = 0,015, karena nilai p value <0,05 maka ada pengaruh beban kerja indirect care terhadap kinerja perawat. Diharapkan semua variabel bebankerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat perlu diperhatikan dan dijadikan tolak ukur dalam pengambilankebijakan kedepannya di Institusi rumah sakit.

Abstract

Regarding to the ageing population in most countries, degenerative and metabolism diseases included osteoporosis are becoming increasingly and need special attention in all country especially in the developing country such as Indonesia. Current WHO recommendation of using a gold standard for establishing osteoporosis is by Dual X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA), but it is expensive and not yet widely available. There are some alternatives of biochemical markers that can reflect the bone turn over. One of them is Cterminal cross-linking telopeptide of type I collagen (CTX) or betacrosslabs, a marker of bone resorbtion. There are still limited studies on correlation of CTX and osteoporosis in peri menopausal and post menopausal women. The aim of this study is to know whether there are any differences of CTX level among peri menopausal and post menopausal women with different bone density. This research was a cross sectional study and aimed to know whether there is any correlation between CTX level and Bone Mineral Density Score measured with DEXA. The study was conducted in June-August 2010. The included subjects were women with age more than 45 years old, without apparent history of neoplasm, impaired renal function, bone metabolic diseases, and not currently pregnant. CTX level were measured using immunochemiluminescent. Their data were analysed using One Way ANOVA. This study showed that there are differences of CTX levels among women with osteoporosis, osteopenia, and normal (0.633±0.25 ng/mL vs 0.514±0.21 ng/mL vs 0.406±0.21 ng/mL p=0.02). Osteoporosis women have higher CTX level compared to Osteopenia and Normal women.

Abstract

This research presents the latest information on the analysis of Islamic law on the practice of fulfilling the rights of wives and children in the household among the Tablighi Jama'ah. This research is presented in a qualitative form with the approach of sociology of law (Islamic law). This study uses Islamic law (mashlahat theory) as an analysis tool in analyzing research data. In the end, this study concluded that the rights and obligations of husband and wife and children in the household among the Tablighi Jama'ah were actually subject to and did not differ from the provisions of Law No. 1 of 1974, KHI and so from the opinion of Imam Shafi'i, although in reality related to the Tablighi Jama'ah policy, especially when selecting members who want to leave the khuruj still needs to be improved so that there are no more members of the jama'ah who are mentally incapable, especially financially making khuruj, so this does not impact on the non-implementation of the obligations of the husband in the household and the poor image of preaching khuruj in the midst of society, especially the city of Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the increase in the average realization of Motor Vehicle Tax at SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori on Motor Vehicle Tax Revenue at UPPD SAMSAT Pandan. (2) contribution of Motor Vehicle Tax at SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori to Motor Vehicle Tax Revenue at UPPD SAMSAT Pandan. (3) the effectiveness of the contribution of Motor Vehicle Tax at the SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori to the Motor Vehicle Tax Revenue at the UPPD SAMSAT Pandan. (4) Policies that can be applied to increase the Motor Vehicle Tax at SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori. (5) Is Motor Vehicle Tax Revenue (PKB) related to the regional development of Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that: (1) The average increase in the realization of the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori for the last three years was 42.28%. (2) The contribution of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori to the UPPD SAMSAT Pandan for the 2017 fiscal year was 3.9%, an increase in 2018 of 0.67 points to 4.57%. (3) The effectiveness of the contribution of the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) of SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori to the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) of UPPD SAMSAT Pandan is very less effective because it is only able to contribute below 10%. (4) SAMSAT Gerai Pinang Sori has done several things including socializing the latest policies regarding tax payments to the public, collecting taxes on motorized vehicles that are still in arrears or have not re-registered, especially motorized vehicles that have tax potential. large amount, the granting of relief from fines to taxpayers who are in arrears and the elimination of administrative sanctions. (5) Motor Vehicle Tax is related to regional development. Motor vehicle tax revenues are able to contribute to increasing PAD. From this PAD, it will be used or budgeted for infrastructure development in the region or in the province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the strategy for increasing tax revenue for two-wheeled motor vehicles in the city of Medan. The research design used is descriptive method, which is a research method that seeks to solve problems by presenting data, analyzing and interpreting it. While the form of this research is qualitative, namely research in which the data is obtained and analyzed in the form of numbers, starting from data collection, data interpretation and the appearance of the results. The secondary data collection method in this research was obtained through literature study by studying literature books and other official documents that have been published by the government of North Sumatra Province, in addition to obtaining secondary data from the variables studied sourced from interviews, data sourced from Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency and the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra Province and the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra Province, the Central Statistics Agency of Medan City. From the results of this study, it is found that the factors that influence the obstruction of two-wheeled motor vehicle tax revenue and the factors also strategy to increase the tax revenue of two-wheeled motorized vehicles in Medan City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence village economic development based on Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) by looking at the relationship between the influence of human resources (HR), capital participation, governance, and rural area planning on the development of the village economy based on BUMDes in the Regency /City of North Sumatera. The research method used is quantitative research conducted by survey, namely research in which the data is collected from a population sample to represent the entire population. The entire population was given a research questionnaire, amounting to 53 BUMDes in the Regency / City of North Sumatera. The number of questionnaires distributed was 512, with nine respondents for each BUMDes and 498 returned questionnaires. After processing the data with SmartPLS, the research results show that human resources, capital participation, governance, and regional planning partially have a significant effect on developing the BUMDes-based village economy.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs assemble and unite all the necessary resources i.e. money, people, business models, strategies and the ability to take risks to turn new inventions into a workable business. A business refers to a marketing mix consisting of product, price, place and promotion. As a marketing mix, promotion has several challenges to the effectiveness and efficiency of the marketing message to be conveyed. For this reason, the concept of integrated marketing communication emerged which combines several marketing communication tactics into an integrated manner to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing messages. Knowledge, understanding and implementation of integrated marketing communications will help an entrepreneur to help market his brand. This paper aims to conduct a theoretical study between entrepreneurship and integrated marketing communication as a method of marketing promotion. If carried out comprehensively, integrated marketing communications will help an entrepreneur to help him introduce, form a positive impression and retain his customers for his brand.
