Abstract

Background: Visceral fat is fat that is stored in the adipose tissue of the abdominal region. The accumulation of high amounts of visceral fat causes central obesity and the occurrence of metabolic syndrome which is a risk for degenerative diseases. Banten Province shows that the prevalence of obesity in 2018 is 22.5% and in 2020 it is 25.2%. Risk factors that cause obesity, especially in the workplace, are lack of physical activity, unhealthy eating patterns, and unhealthy lifestyles. Objective: to determine the relationship between glycemic load, physical activity, and work stress with visceral fat. Methods: The research was carried out in the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of Banten Province, from August 2021 to August 2022. This type of research is quantitative research which is an analytic survey using a cross-sectional research design with a research sample of 76 respondents. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. Results: There was a relationship between glycemic load and visceral fat (p=0.000), there was a relationship between physical activity and visceral fat (p=0.002), and there was no relationship between work stress and visceral fat (p=0.137). This is because respondents still consume sufficient carbohydrate food on weekdays and holidays and respondents tend to do less physical activity which causes fat accumulation in the body.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between glycemic load and physical activity to the formation of visceral fat.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Online motorcycle taxi drivers are one of the alternative jobs Indonesian demand with 4 million online motorcycle taxi drivers currently spread throughout Indonesia. Workers from the transportation industry also present high health problems due to overweight and obesity. Several factors can affect the nutritional status of the workforce, such as the type of activity (workload), individual labor factors (gender, age, physiological status, fitness level, and eating habits), as well as factors from the work environment (including: physical, chemical, biological, physiological, psychological science and ergonomics). Therefore, the nutritional status of online motorcycle taxis is one of the things that needs attention. Objectives: Analyze the relationship between the adequacy of nutrients and fluids, diet quality, consumption behavior and physical activity with the nutritional status of online ojek drivers in Tangerang. Methods: This study used a Cross Sectional study design. The sample size in this study was calculated using G*Power software, namely 92 samples selected by the non-probability sampling method by accidental sampling. Data on respondents' characteristics and consumption behavior were obtained from questionnaires, the level of adequacy of nutrients and fluids was obtained from the results of recall 1x24 hours for two days, diet quality was assessed from the Balanced Nutrition Index score (IGS 3-60), physical activity was calculated using the PAL form 1x24 hours. Nutritional status was obtained from anthropometric measurements. The data obtained were processed using the Pearson Chi-Square test. Results: There was a significant relationship between the level of adequacy of energy, carbohydrates, fat, frequency of buying food outside and nutritional status (P-value 0.000; 0.000; 0.041; 0.047). There was no significant association between protein adequacy, fiber adequacy, fluids, diet quality, physical activity, cooking frequency and delivery frequency with nutritional status (P-value 0.636; 0.489; 0.556; 0.282; 1.00; 0.056; 0.617).Conclusion: There was a relationship between the level of adequacy of energy, carbohydrates, fat, and the frequency of buying food outside with nutritional status and there was no relationship between the level of adequacy of protein, fiber, fluids, diet quality, physical activity, cooking frequency and frequency of delivery with nutritional status.Keywords: diet quality; food access; level of adequacy of nutrients and fluids; nutritional status; online motorcycle taxi; physical activity ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Pengendara ojek online merupakan salah satu alternatif pekerjaan yang diminati masyarakat Indonesia dengan 4 juta pengendara ojek online saat ini yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia. Pekerja dari industri transportasi juga menyajikan permasalahan kesehatan yang tinggi karena kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas. Oleh karena itu, status gizi ojek online menjadi salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Tujuan: menganalisis hubungan tingkat kecukupan zat gizi dan cairan, kualitas diet, perilaku konsumsi serta aktivitas fisik dengan status gizi pengendara ojek online Tangerang. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi Cross Sectional (potong lintang). Besar sampel pada penelitian ini dihitung menggunakan software G*Power yaitu 92 sampel yang dipilih dengan metode non probability sampling dengan cara accidental sampling. Data karakteristik responden dan perilaku konsumsi diperoleh dari kuesioner, tingkat kecukupan zat gizi dan cairan diperoleh dari hasil recall 1x24 jam selama 2 hari, kualitas diet dinilai dari skor Indeks Gizi Seimbang (IGS 3-60), aktivitas fisik dihitung menggunakan form PAL 1x24 jam serta status gizi diperoleh dari pengukuran antropometri. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat kecukupan energi, karbohidrat, lemak, frekuensi membeli makanan di luar dengan status gizi (p value 0,000; 0,000; 0,041; 0,047). Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat kecukupan protein, tingkat kecukupan serat, cairan, kualitas diet, aktivitas fisik, frekuensi memasak dan frekuensi pesan antar dengan status gizi (p value 0,636; 0,489; 0,556; 0,282; 1,00; 0,056; 0,617). Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi, karbohidrat, lemak, dan frekuensi membeli makanan di luar dengan status gizi. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Gizi merupakan salah satu aspek kesehatan yang memiliki peran penting dalam peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja, terutama tenaga kesehatan yang memiliki tugas melayani pasien saat pandemi. Untuk meningkatkan imunitas diperlukan juga asupan makan yang baik yang dapat dilihat dari pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi dan juga kepuasan pelayanan gizi yang diberikan kepada tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepuasan pelayanan gizi terhadap sisa makanan. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Cross-Sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada April 2022 dan terdapat populasi sebanyak 576 tenaga kesehatan dan sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan metode accidential sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel yaitu 137 sampel tenaga kesehatan di RSDC Wisma Atlet Kemayoran. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan Google Form yang berisi kuesioner terkait kepuasan pelayanan gizi dan sistem Comstock untuk data sisa makanan. Uji statistik dilakukan secara deskriptif yang dianalisis menggunakan Uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara penampilan makanan (nilai p=0,94), variasi (nilai p=0,19), aroma (nilai p=0,33), rasa (nilai p=0,25), higienitas (nilai p=0,65), kuantitas (nilai p=0,57) dan keseluruhan (nilai p=0,27) dengan sisa makan. Sisa makanan dapat dipengaruhi dari berbagai faktor, semakin sedikit sisa makanan maka semakin tinggi tingkat pemenuhan gizi tenaga kesehatan.Kata kunci: Pelayanan Gizi, Kepuasan, Sisa Makanan.

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition where the kidney(s) are damaged which is marked by the glomerular filtration rate<15mL/min/1.73m². Reports from IndonesianRenal Registry revealed that new patients undergoing hemodialysis in the Indonesian areincreasing every year. This study aims to see the health status of hemodialysis patients atMedika Hospital BSD. The design used was descriptive observational in November 2019 -February 2020, with cross sectional research design. The sampling method uses NonProbability Sampling, total samples taken was 46 respondent with age ratio >18 years to <60years old. The results showed 56.5% ureum levels >150 mg/dL, 76.1% hemoglobin levels ≤10g/dL, 71.7% malnutrition nutritional status (DMS score = >7), and 84.8% of the respondenthas bad health status. Abstract

Food waste (FW) consists of organic-rich resources for consumption that are then discarded, wasted, decomposed, or damaged. The impacts of FW from several aspects have been demonstrated, such as the 1.3 billion tons of food wasted per year that costs the global economy and adds to greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, there is the impact of famine if FW is not addressed. However, food waste is the result of poor food handling habits and behaviors such as planning, shopping, cooking, eating, storing, and handling food waste. The method of community service is lecture/counseling, accompanied by discussion and questions and answers. This community service was carried out in August-October 2022 at the Parung Panjang Health Center Working Area, Bogor Regency. The results of the service, we get pre-test and post- test presentations are not different (there has been no increase in knowledge after socialization). FW in the household is still a common thing to do so that socialization needs to be carried out continuously along with assistance so that knowledge increases accompanied by changes in behavior for the better.

Abstract

Anemia merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat karena berkaitan dengan meningkatnya risiko morbiditas dan mortalitas pada saat ibu melahirkan. Anemia pada kehamilan akan menyebabkan ibu hamil mengalami perdarahan pada proses kelahiran bayi yang dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor risiko penyebab anemia ibu hamil. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan pada Juli 2019 sampai dengan Oktober 2019. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu ibu hamil yang ditentukan dengan metode accidental samplin sebanyak 94 ibu hamil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara status gizi sebelum hamil, usia ibu hamil, gravida dan tingkat pendidikan dengan kejadian anemia (p>0.05). Terdapat hubungan signfikan antara usia kehamilan, status KEK, paritas dengan kejadian anemia ibu hamil (<0.005). Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian anemia ibu hamil di Puskesmas Kebon Jeruk yaitu usia kehamilan, status KEK dan paritas.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia menetapkan target penurunan stunting menjadi 14% pada 2024, namun data menunjukkan prevalensi stunting pada tahun 2022 masih 21,6%. Kondisi yang sama juga terlihat di tingkat daerah dimana prevalensi stunting di Kabupaten Bogor mencapai 19,08% pada tahun 2019. Hasil analisis situasi di salah satu puskesmas di Kabupaten Bogor yaitu Puskesmas Parungpanjang menunjukkan bahwa kondisi ini disebabkan oleh belum optimalnya implementasi program pencegahan stunting, terutama di Posyandu Nusa Indah. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan kader. Oleh karena itu diperlukan adanya kegiatan peningkatan kapasitas kader sebagai ujung tombak pencegahan stunting di masyarakat seperti program BAGEUR. Program ini disusun berdasarkan kondisi di Posyandu Nusa Indah dan dikembangkan menggunakan pendekatan multidisiplin. Kegiatan ini dibagi kedalam 2 kegiatan utama yaitu Bageur Kader-Na (pelatihan komunikator pencegahan stunting) dan Bageur PMT-Na (pelatihan pembuatan PMT balita tinggi protein). Kegiatan pertama yaitu pelatihan fasilitator cegah stunting, hasilnya diperoleh perubahan signifikan pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah diberikan pelatihan (p-value<0,001), dengan rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum 78,75 dan setelah pelatihan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 90,59. Kegiatan kedua yaitu pelatihan pembuatan makanan tambahan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan untuk pembuatan beberapa menu PMT yang disesuaikan dengan kelompok usia. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diatas diharapkan dapat mencapai target utama kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu “Bageur status gizi balita-na” yang tergambarkan melalui peningkatan asupan protein balita melalui pemberian PMT untuk jangka pendek dan untuk jangka panjang perbaikan profil status gizi balita di wilayah kerja Posyandu Nusa Indah.

Abstract

Background: Personal hygiene is the basic principle of foodservice. Poor personal hygiene practices can lead to increase risk of microbial contamination in food. The personal hygiene of Islamic boarding schools’ food handlers are still low related to lack of knowledge. It caused by various factors, such as knowledge, attitudes, education, length of work, and habits on processing foodObjective: To examine the effect of mirroring education on the personal hygiene’s knowledge and attitudes of Islamic boarding school food handlers’ in Jombang.Methods: A pre-experimental study with a pretest-posttest group design. Total sampling were 41 food handlers in Islamic boarding school in Jombang. Data were analyzed by Paired Sample T-test and Wilcoxon test.Results: The age distribution of the respondents were 2,4% as the oldest age (58 years old) and 7,3% as the youngest age (17 years old), 26 respondents (63,4%) had working period 4 years and 22 people (53,7%) with low education. Knowledge and attitude about personal hygiene before and after education were significantly different (p=0, 01), also There were differences in knowledge and attitude about personal hygiene before and one week after education (p=0,01).Conclusion: Mirroring education can improve personal hygiene’s knowledge and attitudes of food handlers.

Abstract

Background: Based on the results of the 2022 Employee Medical Check-Up (MCU) at RSIJCP, there were 219 obese employees, with the highest number of obesity cases coming from the inpatient unit, totaling 46 employees. Obesity can increase the risk of degenerative diseases that can disrupt work productivity. Objective: to measure the effect of the Light Weight Challenge program, which includes nutritional education, low-calorie lunches, and exercise, on changes in nutritional status and body composition among inpatient staff at RSIJCP.Methods:  This type of research is a Pre-Experimental Design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest approach. Forty-six employees, 7 men and 39 women, completed the four-week program. The Wellness Program included daily low-calorie diet education provided through a WhatsApp group divided into 7 groups, low-calorie lunches every Monday to Saturday, indoor exercise every Wednesday, and outdoor exercise every Friday. However, before the treatment was administered, a pretest (initial measurement) was conducted to determine the initial condition, and after the treatment, a posttest (final measurement) was conducted to determine the final results.Results:  There was a significant decrease in the average body weight before the program (84,5±13,3) and after the program (81,9±13,5), with p=0,000. Similarly, there was a significant decrease in BMI before the program (33,5±4,5) and after the program (32,4±4,7), with p=0,000, and Body Fat before the program (38,3±4,2) and after the program (35,3±4,0), with p=0,000. However, there was no significant change in the average visceral fat before the program (17,3±6,1) and after the program (16,7±6,3), with p=0.350.Conclusion : The "Light Weight Challenge" wellness program can reduce the weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), body fat, and visceral fat of inpatient employees at RSIJ CP.  Keywords :Obesity, Wellness Program, Light Weight Challenge, weight, BMI, Body Fat, Visceral Fat
