Abstract

This service article discusses the role of students in community service through teaching and socialization in Adan-Adan Village. This volunteer project demonstrates the value of community service in the context of higher education. This activity includes coaching, teaching, and preserving cultural heritage, with training methods that include planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Adan-Adan Village conducted community service on March 18, 2024. Teaching activities were conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Falah, SD Negri 1 Adan-Adan, and Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an Annur. In order to encourage young people to spread the advantages of community service, this community service project aims to develop technological innovations. Community service activities in schools and TPQ can also provide better dedication to improving the quality of learning and teaching and developing student potential. Furthermore, cultural heritage preservation plays a critical role in preserving human cultural heritage and the legitimacy of a community's cultural identity. Therefore, the community is crucial to ensuring that cultural heritage is sustained. The success of this service activity is evident from the students' and the Adan-Adan Village community's active participation in it, according to the questionnaire provided by the service team.

Abstract

In a nation where the freedom of association, assembly, and expression is protected exclusively by its Constitution, Indonesia isn’t a stranger to mass organizations (Ormas) created by its citizens. With the Ormas Law, Ormas is regulated and supervised, but it doesn’t take forever for an Ormas to rebel and act by their own rules, such as the FPI Ormas. With an extensive history on violence and public disruption, this research is aimed to analyse the sociological and psychological factors behind FPI’s illegal behaviours through the eyes of criminology, and what can be done to prevent similar cases in the future. It has been found that sociology and psychology play a heavy part on influencing the illegal acts and fanatic mindset of FPI members, birthing a series of violations against the Ormas Law and even the Criminal Code. While FPI has been disbanded since 2020, it’s important to learn from the past and improve the supervision of Ormas in Indonesia to prevent the rising of another FPI.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations, interviews, and tests conducted with 1th students at SDN Mojoroto 4. On the observations, it was found the teacher relied solely on the school’s textbook as a learning resource and used a lecture-based teaching method. There was a lack of innovation in instructional delivery, which led to students having limited vocabulary mastery and difficulty in constructing words. Interviews with some students revealed that they quickly became bored with the monotonous learning process. Therefore, a language game-based module was needed to address these issues. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the validity of module, (2) To determine the practicality of the module, and (3) To determine the effectiveness of the module. The development model used was ADDIE, which includes the following stages: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The validity test results showed that the module expert gave a score of 92%, and the material expert gave a score of 80%. Practicality test results from teacher response questionnaires reached 94%, student responses in the limited trial reached 95%, and in the wider trial reached 92%. Effectiveness test results showed a classical percentage of 100% in both limited and wider trials. It can be concluded that the developed language game-based module is valid, practical, and effective.

This article examines the historical context of Indonesian-Dutch diplomatic relations, focusing on the role of historical understanding in shaping current diplomatic practices. It argues that a nuanced understanding of shared history, including conflicts and collaborations, is crucial for promoting constructive and mutually beneficial relationships. This article analyzes key historical events, including the Dutch colonial period, the Indonesian struggle for independence, and post-independence relations. It highlights the importance of reconciliation, dialogue, and a commitment to shared values for building a more robust and sustainable future for both nations.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Siswa sekolah dasar disinyalir kurang terampil dalam melakukan cuci tangan enam langkah. Menurut data dari Survei Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2023, terdapat 48,2% yang mencuci tangan dengan cara yang tidak sesuai standar WHO. Tujuan: Menganalisis pengaruh video handwashing dance terhadap keterampilan mencuci tangan enam langkah pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperiment tipe pretest posttest with control group. Penelitian dilakukan pada Juni 2025 dengan 54 responden siswa kelas dua yang dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi masing-masing 27 siswa, dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi berdasarkan enam langkah cuci tangan dari WHO. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil: Berdasarkan Uji statistik Mann-Whitney diperoleh nilai p-value 0,000 dengan nilai (p-value < 0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Artinya pemberian video handwashing dance memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan cuci tangan enam langkah pada siswa. Kesimpulan: Video handwashing dance merupakan media yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan cuci tangan enam langkah pada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study examines the enforcement of tax crime cases in Indonesia, with a particular focus on the termination of tax crime prosecutions and the perspectives of key stakeholders, including the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), the Financial Audit Agency (BPK), and tax consultants. Using in-depth interviews with selected informants, the research identifies major challenges in tax law enforcement, especially in relation to corporate tax crimes. The findings show that tax crimes frequently stem from collusion between taxpayers and tax officials to evade taxes, coupled with weak corporate governance. The study argues that sanctions for tax crimes should be directed more toward individuals who manage corporations rather than the corporations themselves. Furthermore, the research highlights the rising number of tax crime cases being forwarded for prosecution and notes persistent issues concerning the lack of corporate accountability, including among state-owned enterprises (BUMN). The study also examines the existing legal framework and identifies inconsistencies between administrative and criminal law enforcement in tax matters. These inconsistencies demonstrate the need for clearer legal guidelines and improved coordination among tax authorities, auditors, and law enforcement institutions. The study also underscores the potential role of restorative justice—particularly through tax repayment and fines—as an alternative mechanism to improve taxpayer compliance and increase efficiency in resolving tax disputes. In conclusion, the research offers recommendations for legal reforms, stronger inter-agency coordination, and the enhancement of human resource capacities within tax authorities to ensure that tax crime cases are resolved more effectively and fairly, ultimately supporting Indonesia’s broader fiscal objectives.

Abstract

Potensi Warisan Budaya bendawi di Kabupaten Kediri adalah saksi dari perjalanan panjang sejarah Kabupaten Kediri dari masa ke masa. Sebagai saksi sejarah, seni Warisan Budaya merupakan rekaman sejaman dari peristiwa-peristiwa sejarah di Kabupaten Kediri. Sebagai rekaman sejarah (historical record), rusak, berubah terlebih lagi musnahnya potensi Warisan Budaya tentulah berdampak bagi hilang atau setidaknya berkurangnya kandungan informasi sejarah Kabupaten Kediri. Semakin banyak yang hilang atau/rusak semakin sedikit jejak-jejak masa lampau yang bisa diketahui oleh generasi sekarang dan mendatang. Oleh karenanya, pelestarian merupakan kata kunci (key word) untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya dalam menghadapi dinamika jaman. Guna itu maka hasil kegiatan pendataan ulang (reinventarisasi) potensi Cagar Budaya yang merupakan warisan budaya bendawi menjadi kekayaan Kabupaten Kediri. Kegiatan Pengabdian Warisan Budaya / Cagar Budaya Kabupaten Kediri Tahun 2016 di wilayah Kediri ini adalah pendataan ulang potensi kepurbakalaan Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil yang akan didapat tentunya dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam mengeluarkan rekomendasi tentang langkah-langkah yang perlu dilakukan ke depan. Hal ini mengingat potensi Cagar Budaya yang cukup baik untuk dapat dikembangkan sebagai objek penelitian budaya. Dengan adanya hasil pengabdian tersebut maka upaya-upaya terkait dengan pelestarian dan pemanfaatan dapat lebih dimaksimalkan lagi dan menambah literatur khususnya bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan sejarah Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri khususnya mata kuliah Studi Observasi. Dalam kegiatan penggalian penyelamatan ini dilakukan pengumpulan data selengkap mungkin, sehingga menggunakan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut. (1) Melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak-pihak terkait sebelum melakukan reinventarisasi di lapangan. (2) Wawancara dengan pihak-pihak terkait untuk mencari informasi tentang keberadaan objek inventarisasi. (3) Melakukan survei permukaan untuk mengetahui kondisi objek arkeologis. (4) Mendokumentasikan objek data arkeologis guna reinventarisasi. (5) Studi pustaka merupakan upaya mencari data sekunder untuk memperkaya kajian terhadap data primer.

Abstract

Waste has always been a problem in various regions, starting from the village, sub-district, district/city, even in a country level. The rate of population growth is increasing rapidly which has an impact on increasing the amount of waste. The Landfill for waste in Bojonegoro had been overloaded since 2019, which in 2020 will operate a new Landfill in the western region. Improper planning and inappropriate location of the new Landfill will have a greater negative impact, especially on the surrounding community. The capacity and physical supporting of the landfill are important things that must be considered in planning the development and operation of the landfill, in order to be able to support the activities of using the landfill in a sustainable manner. The purpose of this research was to examine the capacity of the Bojonegoro new Landfill by calculating the capacity of the Bojonegoro New Landfill in serving predictions of waste generation in the future Landfill service area. In addition, this research also analyzed the physical supporting capacity of Bojonegoro new Landfill with a scoring method based on the Landfill feasibility standard. The result of this research was that the Bojonegoro new Landfill was categorized as feasible to operate with the consideration from the results of the analysis that the capacity of the Landfill had a service life of 9 years 7 months which could be categorized as feasible. While the results of the analysis of the physical supporting capacity of the landfill got a total score of 533 with a proper interpretation.

Abstract

There are always problems caused by waste at various regional levels, starting from the village, sub-district, district/city levels even at the national and state levels. The rate of population growth is increasing rapidly which has an impact on increasing the amount of waste. The Landfill for waste in Bojonegoro Regency had been overloaded since 2019, which in 2020 will operate a new Landfill in the western region. Improper planning will be able to cause financial losses but on the contrary if done with proper planning it will create opportunities to advance the economy for the surrounding community. The supporting capacity of the Landfill is an important thing that had to be considered in planning the development and operation of the Landfill, in order to be able to support the activities of using the landfill in a sustainable manner. The purpose of this research was to find out whether the new Landfill was feasible to operate by considering the estimated costs incurred and the income earned. The calculation of the economic supporting capacity was carried out using the Landfill economic valuation method. The results of the calculation of the economic carrying capacity of the new landfill had a benefit cost ratio (BCR) of 1.16, with an IRR value of 35.48% so that the New landfill activity was feasible to carry out.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi dan daya tarik edukatif Museum Anjuk Ladang Kabupaten Nganjuk melalui implementasi sistem digitalisasi berbasis Quick Response (QR) Code. Museum ini memiliki peran penting dalam pelestarian warisan budaya lokal, namun masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam penyajian informasi yang interaktif serta rendahnya minat pengunjung, terutama dari kalangan generasi muda. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, program ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan model partisipatif, yang melibatkan kolaborasi antara tim akademisi, pengelola museum, dan masyarakat lokal. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, survei pengunjung, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan konten digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan QR Code pada koleksi museum meningkatkan kemudahan akses informasi, memperkuat fungsi edukatif museum, dan menumbuhkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam pengelolaan konten digital. Pengelola museum juga mengalami peningkatan kompetensi dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk keperluan promosi dan edukasi. Secara konseptual, kegiatan ini memperkuat relevansi teori Technology Acceptance Model dan pendekatan Participatory Action Research dalam konteks pengembangan digital heritage. Kontribusi utama dari program ini terletak pada pengembangan model pemberdayaan berbasis teknologi yang dapat direplikasi di museum daerah lain sebagai strategi transformasi digital menuju wisata budaya yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
