Abstract

This classroom action research is motivated by students' low motivation and academic achievement in Civics Education learning in Grade III of SD NEGERI CIMANGGU 01 (Cimanggu 01 Public Elementary School). This research aims to solve students' low motivation and academic achievement through the application of PBL strategies assisted by E-Edumagz (Electronic Educational Magazine) media in Civics Education learning in Grade III of Cimanggu 01 Elementary School. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The research subjects were 24 students in Grade III. The data were collected using observation sheets, evaluation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study show a gradual increase in student motivation and academic achievement. In the first cycle, academic achievement yielded an average score of 76.5 with a completion rate of 64.58% (rated as fair), which subsequently improved in the second cycle to an average score of 84.5, accompanied by a completion rate of 85.4% (rated as good). Similarly, in the first cycle, learning motivation reached a completion rate of 74.24% (rated as fair), and this increased in the second cycle to a completion rate of 80.86% (rated as good). The use of PBL strategies assisted by E-Edumagz (Electronic Educational Magazine) media has positively impacted student motivation and academic achievement in accordance with the expected success indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Binangun pada mata pelajaran IPAS melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan media Augmented Reality (AR). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi untuk menilai keterlibatan, antusiasme, serta dorongan belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menghitung persentase peningkatan indikator minat dan motivasi belajar, serta secara kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan perubahan perilaku dan respons siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada minat dan motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model NHT berbantuan media AR. Nilai observasi minat belajar meningkat dari 74% menjadi 89,5%, sedangkan motivasi belajar meningkat dari 83% menjadi 87,5%. Peningkatan yang konsisten di setiap siklus membuktikan bahwa kombinasi antara pembelajaran kooperatif dan teknologi interaktif menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik, kolaboratif, dan bermakna. Dengan demikian, model NHT berbantuan AR terbukti efektif meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar dan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai strategi inovatif dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan pondasi bangsa yang sangat penting  dan  perlu ditanamkan sejak dini kepada anak-anak. Pendidikan karakter dapat ditumbuhkan melalui kegiatan pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi kegiatan salam pagi dalam rangka menumbuhkan karakter komunikatif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  implementasi  kegiatan  salam  pagi  untuk mengembangkan karakter komunikatif dilakukan melalui kebiasaan berkomunikasi antara siswa dengan guru saat melaksanakan kegiatan salam pagi. Komunikasi tersebut dapat menjalin keakraban sehingga tercipta kedekatan antara siswa dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan teman sekelas maupun lain kelas. Hasil temuan ini memperkuat teori behavioristik yang menyatakan bahwa belajar adalah perubahan tingkah laku sebagai akibat dari adanya interaksi antara stimulus dan respon. Seseorang dianggap telah belajar sesuatu apabila mampu menunjukkan perubahan tingkah laku. Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Karakter Komunikatif, Salam Pagi.

Abstract

This scientific study was written to analyze the level of resilience to flood disasters in Kroya District, Cilacap Regency at the household level. This writing was designed as a qualitative and quantitative research model with case studies to determine how adaptation efforts function to reduce the level of vulnerability. So it is expected that there will be a difference between current vulnerabilities and future vulnerabilities. This difference is called resilience, which in this study will be explained at the household level. This research used a survey approach to obtain data from the people of Bunju Village and Mujur Village in Kroya District, Cilacap Regency. The results of the research show that the average resilience level results of Buntu Village and Mujur Village are categorized as high resilience, Buntu Village with a resilience level value of 0.695 (research value conversion) and Mujur Village with a resilience level value of 0.721 (research value conversion). So it can be concluded that the people of these two areas are ready to face the danger of a flood disaster if it occurs.

Abstract

Model Problem Based Learning, yang didukung oleh media Powtoon digunakan dalam penelitian ini guna meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk belajar. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan dua pertemuan setiap siklusnya, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi merupakan tahapan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Fokus penelitian terdiri dari 23 siswa kelas IV A SD Negeri 1 Kedungwuluh, yang terdiri atas 8 siswa perempuan dan 15 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar motivasi siswa, lembar observasi kegiatan siswa dan guru, serta dokumentasi. Pada siklus pertama, tingkat aktivitas siswa yang diukur melalui lembar observasi mencapai 72,5% dan tergolong dalam kategori baik. Pada siklus kedua, presentase ini meningkat menjadi 83% dan masuk kategori baik sekali. Selain itu, peran guru dalam pembelajaran tercatat sebesar 77,5% (kategori baik) pada siklus pertama dan meningkat menjadi 88% (kategori baik sekali) pada siklus kedua. Kenaikan motivasi siswa dalam belajar juga terlihat dari hasil angket. Perolehan skor pada siklus awal adalah 68,30% (kategori sedang), sedangkan pada siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 77,34% (kategori tinggi) serta melampaui standar keberhasilan yang sudah ditentukan, yaitu 75%. Sebagai hasilnya, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL dengan bantuan media Powtoon pada mata pelajaran IPAS dengan materi Keragaman Budaya dan Kearifan Lokal di kelas IV A SD Negeri 1 Kedungwuluh mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Schools located in volcanic disaster-prone areas require high levels of preparedness, yet they are often hindered by a lack of practical training. This community service program aims to enhance the disaster mitigation capacity of the school community at SDN Kecil Munggangsari, Banyumas, situated only 8 km from the summit of Mount Slamet. The implementation utilized a participatory educational approach consisting of two stages: disaster management knowledge transfer and practical self-evacuation simulations for students and teachers. Evaluation results showed a significant surge in disaster literacy and skills. Participants' understanding of mitigation procedures increased from 11% to 100%, while practical simulation experience rose from 6% to 100%. These findings confirm that integrating routine simulations into the educational environment is highly effective in transforming theoretical knowledge into actionable life-saving skills. This program recommends the establishment of a sustainable local mitigation curriculum for schools located in primary volcanic danger zones.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran abad ke-21 dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut guru mampu merancang pembelajaran yang bermakna, mendalam, serta berpusat pada peserta didik. Kenyataanya Guru masih mengalami keterbatasan dalam memahami konsep dan penerapan pendekatan Deep Learning dalam penyusunan rancangan pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) berbasis Deep Learning melalui pelatihan terstruktur meliputi sosialisasi, pendalaman teori konstruktivisme, praktik penyusunan perangkat ajar, serta integrasi teknologi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test berupa angket untuk mengukur perubahan kemampuan peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan: sebelum pelatihan, 74% peserta menyatakan tidak memahami Deep Learning, sedangkan setelah pelatihan 75% menyatakan setuju dan 25% sangat setuju bahwa kemampuan mereka meningkat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan efektif dalam memperkuat kompetensi guru, meningkatkan kualitas perencanaan pembelajaran, serta mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka secara lebih bermakna.Abstract: 21st century learning and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum require teachers to be able to design meaningful, in-depth, and learner-centered learning. In reality, teachers still have limitations in understanding the concept and application of the Deep Learning approach in designing learning plans. This community service activity aims to improve teachers' understanding and skills in developing Deep Learning-based Lesson Plans (RPP) through structured training covering socialization, in-depth study of constructivism theory, teaching tool development practice, and technology integration. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests in the form of questionnaires to measure changes in participants' abilities. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement: before the training, 74% of participants stated that they did not understand Deep Learning, while after the training, 75% agreed and 25% strongly agreed that their abilities had improved. These findings confirm that the training was effective in strengthening teachers' competencies, improving the quality of learning planning, and supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in a more meaningful way.

Abstract

Uncontrolled population growth has consequences for the increase in birth rates in a region. One of the causes is low community participation, especially among women in family planning programs. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between education level and women's participation in family planning programs. The method used in this study was descriptive with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were all women in the fertile age couple category in Kampung KB, Ungaran Village, totaling 63. Research data were obtained through observation, questionnaire distribution, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the chi-square statistical test. The results of the analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between education level and women's participation in the family planning program (p = 0.069 > 0.05). These findings indicate that education is not a major determinant of women's decisions to participate in family planning programs. Most respondents with high levels of education were young PUS who had not yet planned to use contraceptives. Education continues to play an important role in increasing awareness and understanding of reproductive health, but its influence does not directly determine participation in family planning programs.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bullying merupakan tindakan agresif berulang dengan tujuan menyakiti korban dan berdampak serius bagi kesehatan mental korban, bahkan dapat berakhir dengan kematian. Saat ini Bullying banyak terjadi di sekitar kita, termasuk di lingkungan keluarga yang seharusnya menjadi tempat paling aman dan nyaman bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran orang tua wali siswa dalam memahami, mencegah, serta menangani perilaku bullying, khususnya di rumah atau lingkungan keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada orang tua wali siswa SMP di Kecamatan Kembaran, Kab. Banyumas, Prov. Jawa Tengah, sejumlah 68 orang. Kegiatan ini dinyatakan berhasil apabila (1) minimal 70% peserta terlibat aktif dalam penyuluhan, (2) ada peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang Bullying yang diukur dari hasil pre-test dan post-test, dan (3) minimal rata-rata skor kepuasan peserta sebesar 3,00 yang diukur melalui angket kepuasan peserta (skala 1-4). Hasil pengukuran pemahaman peserta dilakukan menggunakan tes (pre-test dan post-test) yang menunjukkan rata-rata pemahaman awal dan akhir peserta sebelum dan setelah pelatihan secara berurutan sebesar 24% dan 84%, atau terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 60%. Hasil monitoring dengan observasi menunjukkan bahwa 79% peserta juga berpartisipasi aktif. Angket kepuasan juga menunjukkan rata-rata skor kepuasan peserta sebesar 3,67 (lebih dari 3,00). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta, materi yang disampaikan dengan baik oleh narasumber bermanfaat bagi peserta dalam keluarga, sehingga perlu ada kegiatan lain dengan tema-tema yang serupa. Abstract: Bullying is a repeated aggressive act with the aim of hurting the victim and has a serious impact on the victim's mental health, and can even result in death. Currently, Bullying occurs a lot around us, including in the family environment which should be the safest and most comfortable place for children to grow and develop. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding and awareness of parents of students in understanding, preventing, and handling Bullying behavior, especially at home or in the family environment. The method used is socialization and counseling to parents of junior high school students in Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java Province, a total of 68 people. This activity is declared successful if (1) at least 70% of participants are actively involved in the counseling, (2) there is an increase in participants' understanding of Bullying as measured by the results of the pre-test and post-test, and (3) at least an average participant satisfaction score of 3.00 as measured through a participant satisfaction questionnaire (scale 1-4). The results of the participant understanding measurement were conducted using tests (pre-test and post-test) which showed an average initial and final understanding of participants before and after the training of 24% and 84% respectively, or an increase in participant understanding of 60%. The results of monitoring by observation showed that 79% of participants also participated actively. The satisfaction questionnaire also showed an average participant satisfaction score of 3.67 (more than 3.00). This shows that this training is in accordance with the needs of participants, the material delivered well by the resource person is useful for participants in their families, so there is a need for other activities with similar themes.

The rapid advancement of digital technology often traps the younger generation in consumptive media use that lacks educational substance. This community service program aims to strengthen digital literacy and historical awareness among the foster children of Al-Maa'uun Orphanage in Wangon, Banyumas, through prophetism-based digital storytelling. Grounded in Muhammadiyah's prophetic values—humanization, liberation, and transcendence—the program utilized direct mentoring and structured training. Conducted in February 2026, the implementation involved twenty-seven children and three caregivers over two face-to-face sessions. The method encompassed historical internalization, short scriptwriting, and technical video production using smartphones and accessible editing software. The evaluation, utilizing pre-testing, post-testing, and interviews, revealed a significant escalation in the participants' cognitive capacity, self-confidence, and digital literacy skills. The children successfully produced and published short, meaningful audio-visual works that encapsulated local historical narratives and Islamic virtues. Ultimately, this empowerment initiative effectively transformed digital devices from mere entertainment tools into strategic cultural instruments.
