Abstract

This article aims to develop creative imagination thinking in students with neuroscience-based learning based on Islamic learning. This research is a type of librarian research. In the golden period that occurs for children, all aspects can develop rapidly so that it requires stimulation that can optimize it, one of which is creative imagination. As it is known that this creative imagination has not been developed too much in education, even imagination is a distraction in children's learning. However, many historical scientists put forward creative imagination. This shows that creative imagination is not a learning disorder but a way to optimize thinking patterns and brain function to the fullest. Such as activities in learning that can provide a stimulus to children's imaginations such as playing music, singing prayers, making unique paintings, etc

Abstract

Abstract

The pandemic of COVID-19 has increased tensions between Islamic rural banks and private schools. Many parents lose their jobs and are thus unable to pay their children’s school tuition. Private schools, on the other hand, are heavily reliant on tuition and bank financing. As a result, student enrollment falls, school finances suffer a deficit, many parents and students lose trust in the school, and some students may wish to drop out. This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of financial relaxation on schools’ resilience. It was qualitative research with a case study approach focusing on the causal relationship of an Islamic rural banks with a private school affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta Vocational High School and Islamic rural banks’ Bangun Drajat Warga (BDW). The research finding reveals that BDW Islamic rural banks has implemented financing relaxation three times to ease the school’s burden and it has resulted in an improvement in the school’s resilience by as much as 33%. Besides, due to the high ideological commitment and adaptability of Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta Vocational High School as well as the success of gaining parents’ trust regarding online teaching and learning, there has been an increase in the school tuition by as much as 80%. Although though the COVID-19 epidemic is coming to an end, it is still important to study the financial flexibility of Islamic rural banks and private schools in similar crises in the past to better prepare for the future.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of internalizing the value of responsibility through a worship habituation program in increasing the religious awareness of elementary school students. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at SDIT Luqman Al Hakim 2 Yogyakarta. The research subjects consisted of the principal, vice principal for curriculum, Islamic Religious Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and students. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of school activities related to the implementation of worship habituation. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the internalization of the value of responsibility occurs through three stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization. These stages are implemented through various structured and continuous worship habituation activities, including dhuha prayer, congregational prayer, dhikr, Qur’an recitation, and morning assemblies. Through these activities, students gain cognitive understanding of responsibility in worship and gradually develop affective awareness and behavioral practice in daily life. The study indicates that worship habituation serves as an effective medium for internalizing responsibility values and strengthening students’ religious awareness, contributing to the development of character education based on religious values in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study was motivated by a 14.11% decline in students’ Qur’an memorisation quality at SMAIT Bina Umat Yogyakarta over the past three academic years, which was associated with below-standard reading proficiency, conventional instructional approaches, and limited optimisation of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers’ leadership in mentoring activities. This study aimed to formulate and analyse a transformational leadership model of PAI teachers as a strategic effort to achieve memorisation quality targets. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. The research subjects consisted of six PAI teachers and six students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, and analysed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal a transformational leadership model characterised by exemplary influence, Inspirational Motivation, intellectual stimulation, and Individualized Consideration integrated into spiritual mentoring practices. The model strengthens students’ commitment, learning discipline, and memorisation strategies. Students’ memorisation quality generally met institutional standards, including tajwid accuracy, articulation, reading fluency, and a minimum memorisation target of 1.5 juz annually. Leadership practices demonstrated measurable improvement in memorisation outcomes, with reading fluency achievement ranging from 88% to 98% of students. The study concludes that the transformational leadership model is an effective strategic approach for achieving sustainable targets for memorisation quality.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenge of moral degradation among adolescents in the era of technological disruption and the low level of early religiosity among students in coastal vocational schools. Data shows that 75% of students do not perform mandatory prayers at home, and the majority are not yet proficient in reading the Quran. This research aims to analyze the strategy of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering students' religious character through the flagship program of sujud, rajin, and ngaji (SURJAN) at SMKN 1 Tepus. The method used is qualitative with a case study type. The research results indicate that the PAI teachers' strategy is implemented through three pillars of SURJAN, namely, first, sujud (habit of praying in congregation), second, rajin (5S culture and industrial discipline), and third, ngaji (reading the Quran). The impact of this strategy is an increase in the frequency of mandatory prayers at home by up to 80% and an improvement in the ability to read the Quran.
