Abstract

Ibn Sina was a famous Muslim scientist in the middle Ages. As a scientist, Ibn Sina always develops science which is the subject and subject of his study. Its activities give birth to new perspectives, new theories, and new discoveries. His work in various fields became a reference for many other scientists. Many theories were born by the thought of Ibn Sina, including the criteria of truth. According to Ibn Sina's criteria for truth, there are 3 things. First, truth is related to the quality of science. This means that the truth is strongly influenced by the type of knowledge possessed. Second, the truth is obtained through the media philosophical approach. Third, truth is closely related to the methodology used in the knowledge framework. As a scientist, Ibn Sina had several scientific attitudes including (1) being selective and firm in his opinion, (2) ethical, (3) being not satisfied with research, (4) discipline and quickly producing many works, and (5) being diligent and never give up. The type of writing used in writing this article is library research.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the low character of students in responding to 21st-century globalization. Because of this, it is important to ask whether curriculum policies have prepared students to be adaptive to these dynamics. This article aims to analyze the character content and the gradations of student social development in the domain of attitudes in the applicable educational curriculum in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative content analysis method with a directed type design and a framework of eight character strengths that took the coding, theoretical approach, findings, and analysis stages of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia document number 20 of 2016 concerning Basic and Secondary Education Graduate Competency Standards (SKL). The research found: first, the character content is in the attitude domain; spiritual and social, aimed at shaping the character strength of students to become religious, honest, caring, lifelong learners, and physically and mentally healthy; second, the gradation of student social development still focuses on real social development, and has not included the gradation of virtual social development of students as an effort to respond to 21st-century globalization. Therefore, this study recommends the Indonesian government revitalize the character content of SKL in educational curriculum policies by considering two forms of gradation of both real and virtual social development of students as the next generation of the nation.

Abstract

Kesundaan merupakan salah satu budaya yang terletak di Jawa Barat dan memiliki kebudayaan yang sangat unik. Keunikan ini akan menjadi sebuah nilai tambah jika terinternalisasikan  dengan nilai-nilai karakter yang sesuai dengan kearifan lokal yang sudah disepakati. Setiap lembaga pendidikan memiliki metode dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa/siswinya menjadi manusia unggul yang bisa menggali dari budaya yang sudah melekat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penulis ingin membuat suatu artikel yang berkaitan dengan karakter anak-anak milenial melalui kebudayaan sunda dengan program Jalmi Masagi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjadikan manusia unggul yang memiliki empat nilai yaitu (1) badannya harus sehat, (2) cerdas (3) berakhlak dan (4) religius, sesuai dengan salah satu program Gubernur Jabar yang telah diluncurkan pada tahun 2018 yang disebut dengan Jabar Masagi.

Abstract

Terjadi kontradiksi antara teori dan realitas pendidikan di perguruan tinggi yang memunculkan kasus oknum mahasiswa yang jauh dari nilai, terutama nilai utama ilmiah, religius, dan edukatif. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis nilai ilmiah, religius dan edukatif dengan teori utama Realms of Meaning, ketiga nilai tersebut dan menemukan konsep pendidikan di perguruan tinggi berdasarkan prinsip pendidikan umum. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berupa library research. Analisis data menggunakan analisis enam makna menurut Realm of Meaning. Hasil kajian ini yaitu: 1) ilmiah, religius dan edukatif adalah core values mewujudkan kepribadian utuh mahasiswa; 2) pendidikan berdasarkan hakikat manusia sebagai makhluk rasional, religius, dan berpendidikan; 3) kesadaran nilai adalah kunci mewujudkan mahasiswa berakal, beragama, dan berkarakter; 4) etika termasuk pendidikan umum yang diwujudkan dalam berbagai mata kuliah umum; 5) seni sebagai media pewaris nilai; 6) pendidikan membina roh dan fisik manusia. Dengan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi pilot project bagi kampus-kampus yang ingin mengembangkan konsep kampus yang ilmiah, edukatif dan religius

Abstract

In connection with descriptive data analysis, this research will describe from the results of documentation and field observations from the analysis of learning management in the process of social emotional development of PAUD Az-Zahra Islamic Preschool Cicalengka, Bandung Regency The results of the analysis documentation carried out by researchers on the management of learning in the process of social emotional development aged 4-5 years of 17 children at PAUD Az-Zahra Islamic Preschool Cicalengka, Bandung Regency. There are several indicators in learning management 1) Planning 2) Implementation of learning, namely activities before entering class, preliminary activities, core activities, eating and resting activities, closing activities 3) Evaluation, namely Assessment, Reporting and follow-up. So it can be concluded that the management of learning in the process of social emotional development of PAUD Az-Zahra Islamic Preschool Cicalengka Bandung Regency has been done by the teacher well according to the indicator although there are still two indicators that have not been implemented, the success of the teacher can be seen from the level of achievement of emotional social development a good boy.

Abstract

In this article, we focus on the concepts of Al-Farabi in education, and it's implications in learning Arabic. We use a descriptive approach in this article by gathering data about the thoughts of Al-Farobi. The researchers are investigating, identifying, explaining, and predicting a prevalent phenomenon based on the data collected in the field. We use a literature analysis in the study technique by reading and understanding books, records, or other written sources, which are essential and help the thoughts of Al-Farobi. The methodology of data analysis is qualitative techniques of data analysis. In this article is known that: First, Al-Farabi was best known as Abu Nasr among Latinos of the Middle-Century. He is muslim figure who has great attention to education. Second, the concepts of Al-Farabi for educational purposes is guiding the individual towards perfection. And Third, there are philosophical, theoretical-pedagogical, and practical implications of Al-Farabi's educational concepts in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine how the implementation of civic education as character education in schools, especially at SDN 077 Sejahtera, Bandung. The research focus is on religious character, national spirit, curiosity, responsibility, friendly/communicative, and hard work. This study used a qualitative descriptive-analytical method. The instruments used were observation, interview, and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that (1) Planning the implementation of civic education as character education in schools, especially SDN 077 Sejahtera, has been prepared in learning planning, namely in syllabus and character lesson plans. (2) The implementation of civic education as character education in schools, especially at SDN 077 Sejahtera, namely Civics teachers have implemented and used various learning methods and resources and integrated various characters in activities. (3) Evaluation of the implementation of civic education as character education in schools, especially at SDN 077 Sejahtera, namely the teacher has carried out various assessments such as written tests but is still not maximal in assessing the attitudes of students during the learning process. (4) The constraints on the implementation of civic education as character education in schools, especially at SDN 077 Sejahtera are that learning time is considered very fast so that the assessment of student attitudes is not optimal, and character education at home is lacking, so that character education in schools is also less than optimal.Keywords: Civic Education; Character Education; SchoolAbstrak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah Implementasi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai sebagai Pendidikan Karakter di Persekolahan khususnya di SDN 077 Sejahtera, Bandung. Adapun fokus penelitian pada karakter religius, semangat kebangsaan, rasa ingin tahu, tanggung jawab, bersahabat/komunikatif dan kerja keras. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskrptif analitis.  Instrumen yang digunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) perencanaan implementasi pendidikan keawarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan karakter di persekolahan khususnya di SDN 077 Sejahtera telah disiapkan dalam perencanaan pembelajaran yaitu dalam silabus dan RPP berkarakter. (2) pelaksanaan implementasi pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan karakter di persekolahan khususnya di SDN 077 Sejahtera yaitu guru PKn telah menerapkan dan menggunakan metode dan sumber belajar yang beragam serta mengintegrasikan berbagai karakter dalam kegiatan. (3) Evaluasi implementasi pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan karakter di persekolahan khususnya di SDN 077 Sejahtera yaitu guru telah melakukan berbagai penilaian seperti tes tulis, tetapi masih kurang maksimal dalam melakukan penilaian terhadap sikap peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. (4) Kendala implementasi pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan karakter di persekolahan khususnya di SDN 077 Sejahtera adalah waktu pembelajaran dianggap sangat cepat, sehingga penilaian terhadap sikap siswa kurang optimal, dan pendidikan karakter dirumah  yang kurang, sehingga pendidikan karakter di sekolah juga kurang optimal.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan kewarganegaraan, Pendidikan karakter,Sekolah

Abstract

The fact of student’s enthusiasm in participating in learning Arabic in educational units, especially formal education which tends to be monotonous and lacking in designing the learning process so that the material can be conveyed properly and clearly so that the expected goals can be achieved optimally is a problem that is often heard. Considering that in arousing the enthusiasm of students so that they are happy in following Arabic lessons, one of the efforts that can be done is to teach Arabic by preparing a learning plan and teaching Arabic that is good and fun. Therefore researchers conducted further research on these matters. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of learning Arabic in non-formal institutions that prioritize aspects of language proficiency through the Shar'i program at the Pare Markaz Arabiyah Institute starting from planning, implementation, evaluation and constraints that occur in learning activities. The method used in this research is a qualitative phenomenological approach using data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The sample of this study is Arabic teachers and Syarqi class students 1. The results of the study show that: (1) The planning of learning conducted by the teacher in preparing and improving the quality of Arabic skills learning is in accordance with the guidelines for the preparation of a typical Markaz Arabiyah curriculum design. (2) The series of processes in the implementation of Arabic skills learning in terms of teaching and learning activities carried out by teachers consists of 3 series of activities, namely initial activities as preliminary, core activities and closing activities, as a whole can be assessed as good. (3) Evaluation of Arabic learning conducted by teachers is well implemented and the achievement of student evaluation results is quite satisfying. by carrying out three evaluations namely daily evaluation, weekly evaluation and final evaluation of the program, the evaluation forms that teachers use are in the form of oral tests and written tests. (4) the obstacles that occur in the process of learning Arabic are first from students who have different cognitive abilities, and from Arabic teachers who still need variations in using various learning methods, then the obstacles that arise are the lack of availability of language laboratory facilities for listening subjects.
