Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan mengenai proses pengembangan karakter religius peserta didik yang berbasis kepada keteladanan guru di Sekolah. Hal ini berangkat dari sebuah pandangan bahwa kesuksesan dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai karakter religius pada suatu proses pendidikan tidak dapat dilepaskan daripada keteladanan yang diberikan oleh guru terhadap para peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis kualitatif dengan metode yang dipakai adalah studi kasus (case study). Kemudian pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Sementara analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif-analisis. Hasil tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa di Sekolah, pengembangan karakter religius peserta didik yang berbasis kepada keteladanan guru ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya pengembangan terhadap nilai-nilai yang mengarah pada pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik, seperti sikap taat melaksanakan ibadah, berprilaku baik sesuai ajaran agama, berbicara dengan santun dan saling menghormati dengan sesama warga sekolah. Kemudian pengembangan karakter religius tersebut dilakukan oleh ketika guru berada di dalam maupun di luar kelas, dan juga dengan memanfaatkan komunikasi verbal dan juga non verbal.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis interaksi kelas dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas VII-A SMPIT Almaka Jakarta Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan pendekatan analisis wacana interaksi kelas yang terdiri dari pelajaran, transaksi, pertukaran, gerak, dan tindakan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik rekaman yang selanjutnya dianalisis melalui tahapan- tahapan yaitu (1) transkripsi data; (2) pengkodean data; (3) interpretasi data; dan (4) simpulan data. Setelah semua data terkumpul, selanjutnya dianalisis mengacu pada pola IRF (Initiate-Response-Feedback) Sinclair dan Coulthard. Wacana interaksi kelas selama pembelajaran bahasa Arab menunjukkan adanya pelajaran, transaksi, pertukaran, gerak, dan tindak. Pelajaran yaitu unit tertinggi dalam struktur wacana kelas berupa materi pelajaran. Transaksi yaitu kesepakatan antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran yang terbentuk dari rangkaian pertukaran. Pertukaran berfungsi sebagai penanda dalam beberapa sub bagian topik pelajaran. Gerak berfungsi sebagai unit yang mengklasifikasikan berbagai tindakan guru maupun siswa dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Tindakan yaitu performansi atas tuturan guru maupun siswa dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Pola interaksi IRF dalam wacana interaksi kelas berkembang menjadi beragam pertukaran IRF.

Abstract

Humans in their lives always need other people, because apart from being individual beings, humans are also social beings. As individual beings, they are able to develop themselves, while as social beings, humans in their lives are gifted with the ability to interact. One of the effective forums for interacting with each other is the organization. In the organization, it is certain that there will be interaction, one of which is through communication. It aims to achieve the objectives to be achieved. Communication is a basic human need, and is one of the important elements in the success of an organization. In an educational organization, for example, it cannot run without the support of communication. Because, how is it possible to educate humans without communication, and teach humans without communication. In general, educational leadership plays a very important role in directing and moving educational organizations to achieve the expected goals. The various roles that must be carried out by a leader cannot be realized without communication. The nature of the organization is very dependent on how the personnel in the organization communicate. The better the quality of communication, the better the quality of the organization. An important aspect of communication is the potential of communication itself as a tool that can be designed by management to achieve organizational goals. The importance of communication can also be seen from the benefits for the organization including the functions of control, motivation, emotional disclosure and the provision of information for decision making. ABSTRAK Manusia dalam kehidupannya selalu membutuhkan orang lain, karena disamping sebagai makhluk individual manusia juga adalah makhluk sosial. Sebagai makhluk individual, mereka mampu mengembangkan dirinya sendiri, sedangkan sebagai makhluk sosial, manusia dalam kehidupannya dikaruniai kemampuan berinteraksi. Salah satu wadah yang efektif untuk saling berinteraksi adalah organisasi. Dalam organisasi dipastikan akan terjadi interaksi, yang salah satunya melalui komunikasi. Hal ini bertujuan mencapai tujuan yang akan dicapai. Komunikasi merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia, dan termasuk salah satu unsur penting dalam keberhasilan suatu organisasi. Dalam organisasi pendidikan misalnya, tidak dapat berjalan tanpa dukungan komunikasi. Sebab, bagaimana mungkin mendidik manusia tanpa komunikasi, dan mengajari manusia tanpa adanya komunikasi. Secara umum, kepemimpinan pendidikan berperan sangat penting dalam rangka mengarahkan dan menggerakkan organisasi pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Beragam peran yang harus dijalankan oleh seorang pemimpin mustahil bisa diwujudkan tanpa adanya komunikasi. Hakikat organisasi sangat bergantung pada bagaimana personal yang ada dalam organisasi tersebut berkomunikasi. Semakin baik kualitas komunikasi maka semakin baik pula kualitas organisasi tersebut. Aspek penting dari komunikasi yaitu potensi dari komunikasi itu sendiri sebagai alat yang dapat dirancang manajemen untuk pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Pentingnya komunikasi juga dapat dilihat dari manfaat bagi organisasi meliputi fungsi pengendalian, motivasi, pengungkapan emosional dan penyediaan informasi untuk pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve students' understanding of Arabic language learning by integrating local folklore as a learning medium. This program is implemented by the Arabic Language Education Study Program FPBS UPI in collaboration with the Malaysian Teacher Education Institute (IPG). The methods used include focus group discussions and ethnographic approaches to explore students' needs and adapt folklore from the origins of Bandung City into teaching materials. The results of the community service show that the use of folklore not only improves students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary and structure but also enriches their insight into local culture. The impact of this program is seen in the increasing involvement of students in the learning process and the creation of more contextual and relevant learning. This culture-based approach provides an innovative alternative in foreign language learning oriented towards society's benefit.

Abstract

Reading proficiency is one of the important aspects of language learning. Arabic language assessment is also assessed through the individual's reading proficiency. Obstacles found in one Arabic language learning proficiency are aspects that need to be considered. Students experience obstacles that affect their learning achievement. Having an in-depth identification of the problems of maharah qiraah will make it easier for teachers to teach Arabic. This study uses a qualitative approach with a systematic literature review method. Data sources are obtained from the results of research conducted by other researchers. This is done so that researchers can access more information about the problems of maharah qiraah. To produce relevant research, researchers select articles published in the last five years. Data search uses "Publish or Perish" and also "Google Scholar." Data selection is based on keywords that researchers have determined. Data collected through the two software programs will be selected for as many as seven studies. The selection is based on three important aspects, namely topic relevance, research quality, and also the year of publication. The obstacles faced by both teachers and students are equally important to know. Achievement in learning does not only depend on the teacher but also the students. Each component is involved in achieving learning goals. One of the things that teachers can do to improve students' reading skills is to implement peer groups so that they can improve each other's reading. This study is expected to help teachers find the right solution in dealing with the problem of maharah qiraah

Abstract

The moral degradation crisis in contemporary educational institutions demands systematic strengthening of character education implementation. This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions of the urgency of moral foundations in educational practice and identify patterns of character value implementation in schools. The research method uses a mixed method design with a sequential explanatory design approach. Research participants consisted of 45 students and one classroom teacher at SDN Tunas Jaya. The quantitative phase uses a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale, while the qualitative phase uses semi-structured interviews and participatory observation. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed through thematic analysis. The research results show that 90% of teachers believe in their crucial role as moral agents with dominant strategies in the form of behavioral exemplary (95%), habituation of religious activities (85%), and positive verbal reinforcement (80%). Religious values become the highest priority (95%), followed by honesty (90%) and responsibility (85%). The main challenges include limited learning time and minimal parental participation. Systematic implementation resulted in a significant increase in student character with task responsibility increasing 22%, discipline and politeness each 20%. The study concludes that teachers' positive perceptions become the foundation for effective character value implementation through consistent exemplary strategies.

Abstract

The limited integration of traditional games as systematic strategies for religious character education in elementary schools indicates a gap between local cultural heritage potential and classroom practices. Congklak, though familiar to Indonesian children, has rarely been examined as a medium for embedding religious values within character education strategies.  This study identifies religious values embedded in congklak and examines their relevance as foundations for developing religious character education strategies in elementary schools.  A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with an academic expert and cultural practitioner, complemented by literature review. Thematic analysis identified recurring values, which were triangulated across sources to ensure credibility.  Five core religious values were identified: honesty (moving seeds accurately without supervision), patience (turn-taking and accepting outcomes), empathy (comforting peers), sportsmanship (accepting victory and defeat with humility), and gratitude (acknowledging outcomes). These values emerge naturally through game mechanics and player interactions rather than explicit instruction. Congklak functions as a culturally grounded, experiential medium for internalizing religious values. When integrated into curriculum with guided reflection, it offers elementary teachers a contextual, engaging pedagogical strategy for religious character development. Future research should examine classroom implementation effectiveness through empirical longitudinal studies.

Abstract

This article seeks to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding that Music Education is actually a vehicle for Value Education because it presents good values ​​that can be internalized by a person so that a positive character is built. The research was conducted by reviewing the relevant literature so that the results can be described as answers that build a certain theoretical framework. The relevant literature in question is obtained from various written sources originating from journals, books, and web pages (internet). The entire literature is then reviewed, filtered to see its relevance, interpreted, described, reinterpreted, and described as an answer that explains the concept of Music Education as a vehicle for Values ​​Education. This study found that Music Education is a very important element as a vehicle for value learning, regardless of its implementation which has certain standards as regulated in NAfME as a Music Education organization in the world based in the United States. In the national context, Ki Hadjar Dewantara has always seen the importance of Music Education as a vehicle for Value Education through his conception of Gending and Wirama.

Abstract

The fact of student’s enthusiasm in participating in learning Arabic in educational units, especially formal education which tends to be monotonous and lacking in designing the learning process so that the material can be conveyed properly and clearly so that the expected goals can be achieved optimally is a problem that is often heard. Considering that in arousing the enthusiasm of students so that they are happy in following Arabic lessons, one of the efforts that can be done is to teach Arabic by preparing a learning plan and teaching Arabic that is good and fun. Therefore researchers conducted further research on these matters. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of learning Arabic in non-formal institutions that prioritize aspects of language proficiency through the Shar'i program at the Pare Markaz Arabiyah Institute starting from planning, implementation, evaluation and constraints that occur in learning activities. The method used in this research is a qualitative phenomenological approach using data collection techniques in the form of observations, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The sample of this study is Arabic teachers and Syarqi class students 1. The results of the study show that: (1) The planning of learning conducted by the teacher in preparing and improving the quality of Arabic skills learning is in accordance with the guidelines for the preparation of a typical Markaz Arabiyah curriculum design. (2) The series of processes in the implementation of Arabic skills learning in terms of teaching and learning activities carried out by teachers consists of 3 series of activities, namely initial activities as preliminary, core activities and closing activities, as a whole can be assessed as good. (3) Evaluation of Arabic learning conducted by teachers is well implemented and the achievement of student evaluation results is quite satisfying. by carrying out three evaluations namely daily evaluation, weekly evaluation and final evaluation of the program, the evaluation forms that teachers use are in the form of oral tests and written tests. (4) the obstacles that occur in the process of learning Arabic are first from students who have different cognitive abilities, and from Arabic teachers who still need variations in using various learning methods, then the obstacles that arise are the lack of availability of language laboratory facilities for listening subjects.
