Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan manusia dan karakter yang berkualitas. Namun, berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan di lapangan ternyata masih belum sesuai dengan harapan, ini diketahui dari hasil wawancara dan kuesioner. Siswa masih kesulitan dalam berbagai cara seperti minat, motivasi, belajar, keterampilan berpikir dan belajar awal. Pemikiran kritis menentukan posisi terendah di antara indikator-indikator ini, selain melakukan penilaian guru, ia juga tidak menggunakan penilaian yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Belajar siklus 5E dimana memperbaharui langkah-langkah membuat percakapan dengan O'Malley Penelitian ini termasuk jenis R&D yang terkandung dalam buku Sugiyono. Setelah validasi,nilai validasi adalah 87% dan itu dalam kategori sangat valid. Ini adalah contoh dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

One causes of low Physics learning outcomes is the lack of ability in creative thinking. It can solve by integrated biomass energy matterial and equipped with steps of heuristic problem solving learning. Integration of biomassa energy matterial expected to form energy efficient character to students. The purposes of these research are investigate the effects and contributed of integrated biomassa energy material to Physics learning outcomes. This research is Quasi Eksperiment Research with population were all of class XI MIA SMAN 12 Padang listed at 2014/2015 year academy. Results of research show the average of Physisc learning outomes are 82,62 and 74,90 at cognitive competence, 84,60 and 80,50 at affective competence, 87,80 and 85,10 at psikomotor competence. By using t analiys, tcount>ttable so alternatif hipotesis is accepted. From corelation analysis, the contributed of integrated biomass energy material is 66,8% to cognitive competence, 56,4% to affective competence and 67,1% to psikomotor comptence. The conclussions of these researh is there are significant effect and contribution of integrated biomass energy material to work, energy, momentum and impuls material in heuristiv problem solving learning

Abstract

The depth of the material is how detailed the concepts that exist in a learning material. Learning with a scientific approach is learning that is designed in such a way with the steps of observe, asking questions, gathering information, associating, and communicating. The research objective was to determine the level of application of a scientific approach and material depth based on the 2013 curriculum for SMA / MA with this type of research, namely descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The population in this study was the Edupark Physics book, a master's thesis development research. For standard books, namely Physics textbooks used in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The samples of this study were Physics textbooks Edupark Semurup Kerinci Hot Water and standard books, namely physics book class XI SMA / MA by Muhammad Farchani Rosyid, et al. The data were taken using research instruments and data analysis techniques in the form of analysis sheets The results showed that the depth of material in the Edupark book was higher, namely 79.87% compared to the MFR book which was 66.30% and both of them had the appropriate category. Meanwhile, the results of the application of the scientific approach to the Edupark textbook were 34.84% lower than the MFR book, which was 39.07%, but they had the same category, which was not suitable. Can show that the Edupark Hot Water Semurup Kerinci textbook material depth is higher than the standard book. And for the application of the scientific approach, Edupark's book is still a lot of subject matter that has not applied the steps of the scientific approach.

Abstract

One of factor causes of low physics learning outcomes is the lack of students ability in problem solving. One of the solution to overcome this problem is to use the students worksheet integrated ocean wave energy with Cooperative Problem Solving learning model. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact and contibution of the student worksheet integrated ocean wave energy to physics learning outcomes in Cooperative Problem Solving learning in XI grade SMAN 12 Padang. This research is Quasi Experimental Research with randomized control group only design. The population is the students of XI grade SMAN 12 Padang that listed in 2014/2015 academic year. Sampling techniques is cluster random sampling. Research data in the form of physics learning outcomes data and the score of student worksheet integrated ocean wave enegy data. Research instruments are written test (essay) for knowledge competence, observation sheet for attitude competence, and score  rubric  for  skill competence. Based on the data analysis, can be concluded that there are significance  effect and contribution student worksheet integrated ocean wave energy in Cooperative Problem Solving learning to the physics learning outcomes in XI grade SMAN 12 Padang

Abstract

The using of student worksheets oriented picture and picture models with contextual teaching and learning approach is expected to improve student learning outcomes and improve mindset, so that the material being studied by the students will be remembered longer. Moreover, it can increase the motivation and creativity of students in the learning and apply it in everyday life. This type of research is experimental research design with randomize control group only design. At this research using samples of two classes, namely the experimental class and control class. In the experiment class using a worksheet oriented picture and picture model with contextual teaching and learning approach, while grade control using ordinary worksheets by CTL approach. Data were analyzed by using the equality test two averages, simple regression test, and product moment correlation test on the real level on 0.05

Abstract

ABSTRACTFrom the result measurement of guano susceptibility magnetic, was found in Solek and Rantai cave indicate magnetic mineral. But the kinds of magnetic mineral it’s don’t know. The kinds of magnetic mineral consist of iron oxide and sulfide oxide. In this research will be determinate the kinds of magnetic mineral which from iron oxide use x-ray diffraction method. The guano which determinated from the kinds of magnetic mineral before extraction use strong magnet. Extraction process have function for desepared magnetic mineral and nonmagnetic mineral. The result from the extraction like smooth magnetic mineral and then will be measure use x-ray diffractometer. Based on the measure process with x-ray diffraction, know the kinds of magnetic mineral which indicate in guano of Solek and Rantai Cave at Lareh Sago Halaban District Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatera the most kind of mineral was magnetite 34). Abstract

The purpose of this research are to analys physical quality (temperature, pH, electrical conductivitas, turbiditas, and concentrasion of lead) at Maninjau Lake. Maninjau Lake has problem die of fish and make harm farmer of keramba. This research use variation of distance 0 m, 5 m and 10 m and three locations Bayua, Koto Gadang and Sigiran.  The standart for physical quality, temperature 23-30 oC use Thermometry, turbiditas <5 NTU use Turbidimetry, pH 6-9, electrical conductivitas <250 µS/cm use Conductivity Metry and then concentration of Lead <0,03 mg/l use AAS. The result Bayua has worse the physical quality (temperature 31,0 oC, pH 5,6, electrical conductivitas 125,2 µS/cm, turbiditas 5,1 NTU, Lead 0,954142 mg/l). While Koto Gadang (temperature  29,5 oC, pH 7,1, conductivitas 123,1 µS/cm, turbiditas 4,8 and concentrasion of lead 0,3778 mg/l) has worse the physical quality than Sigiran (temperature  27,5 oC, pH 7,5, conductivitas 99,7 µS/cm, tur

Abstract

Iron sand is a natural resource in Indonesia that can be utilized based on magnetic mineral content (Fe203, Fe3O4, FeTiO3), to be processed into materials of high economic value. Iron sand magnetic mineral distribution was analyzed to see potential in Pasia Jambak Beach, Pasia Nan Tigo, Padang, where the iron sand in this area has not been fully utilized by the community and government. The potential of iron sand can be seen usiing Magnetic Method with a magnetic chaaracteristic test in the form of the susceptibility value of iron sand. Magnetic susceptibility value iron sand on the surface of Pasia Pantai Jambak varies betwen 485,2 × 10-8 m3/kg up to 13077 × 10-8 with an average 3.306, 37 × 10-8 m3/kg.. The results of the contour map show that high-value magnetic susceptibility values ​​are scattered near the estuary, namely Muaro Anai and Muaro Baru, this is because magnetic minerals (Fe203, Fe3O4, FeTiO3) which have high density are more likely to settle near the estuary, then the rest spreads to the coast.

Abstract

Pemanfataan sumberdaya lahan yang berlebihan seringkali menimbulkan permasalahan lingkungan dikemudian hari. Kerusakan tersebut tidak terlepas dari aktivitas pemanfaatan hutan alam yang terus dikonversi guna keperluan manusia, seperti untuk lahan perkebunan, pemukiman, pembukaan lahan, jalan, dan hutan tanam industri. Kabupaten Pasaman memiliki potensi kekayaan yang beragam meliputi sumberdaya hutan, pertanian, perkebunan, perairan darat, dan berbagai jenis bahan tambang. Hasil pemantauan dari udara terlihat bahwa lebih dari 80% wilayah hutan di Kabupaten Pasaman masih dalam bentuk hutan dan pepohonan hijau, baik itu tanaman perkebunan rakyat maupun hutan primer yang masih terjaga dengan baik. Hal ini didukung dengan letak Kabupaten Pasaman yang merupakan daerah hulu sungai yang mengalir dari arah Barat Pasaman ke Timur. Daerah aliran sungai inilah yang dijadikan masyarakat setempat sebagai sumber kehidupan usaha berjalan. Daerah Mapattunggul Selatan merupakan salah satu daerah di Kabupaten Pasaman yang menjadi sumber air bagi daerah lain di Kabupaten Pasaman, 50 Kota, dan Provinsi Riau, sehingga penggunaan secara intensif atas tanah di Nagari ini akan mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat di daerah aliran sungai (DAS) di Sumbar dan Riau. Maka perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan Pendidikan bagi masyarakat agar pengelolaan alam, lahan dan tanah memperhatikan aspek lingkungan sehingga bisa membantu keseimbangan lingkungan di daerah sekitar.

Abstract

Pahae Julu is a sub-district located in North Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra. This area is often found with volcanic material from the eruption of Mount Toba (Youngest Toba Tuff). The Youngest Toba Tuff eruption occurred ~74,000 years ago with a volume of 2,800 km3. When there is an eruption, the lava on the earth's surface undergoes a relatively fast freezing process to form volcanic igneous rock. These rocks contain various minerals, one of which is magnetic minerals that can be used as a track record of volcanic processes from Mount Toba. However, no document records the magnetic susceptibility value of the Youngest Toba Tuff volcanic rock in the Pahae Julu area. This research aimsbfor knowing the abundance of magnetic minerals by the low-field magnetic susceptibility. To achieve this goal, the rock magnetism method is used. This way is very effective, cheap, sensitive, and non-destructive. Magnetic susceptibility measurements are done using the Bartington Magnetic Susceptibility Meter MS2B sensor. Rock samples analyzed are pumice which is the result of the Youngest Toba Tuff eruption. The results showed that the magnetic susceptibility value obtained for the sample was between 85.0 x 10-8m3/kg – 183.1 x 10-8m3/kg with an average of 119.78 x 10-8m3/kg. Based on this value, it is assumed that the magnetic mineral properties are Antiferromagnetic. The average value of χ fd% obtained is 0.95%, indicating that the Youngest Toba Tuff volcanic rock in the Pahae Julu area has almost no Superparamagnetic grains.
